Abstract

To support teaching and learning activities in order to run smoothly at a grammar school it is necessary to deal with all matters of business stationery - writing, covering services, correspondence, filing, financial, recording student data, and so forth. But in general upper secondary school in Jakarta, the process of entry, storage, updating, and searching student data is still done manually.This also happened in SMAN 78 Jakarta, with the number of students and alumni are a lot of the manual method is considered less efficient, especially in storage by requiring the filing cabinet and finding a place large enough student data which takes a relatively long time. To the authors to design and create applications that can simplify the process of entry, storage, updating and searching student data. The application program is created, using the software Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, with the applications, administrators simply type the NIS or the student's name or nickname if you want to find and update the student data. Similarly with the presentation of information biodata and academic values desired by the requesting student information can be processed quickly.

Abstract

System sales is a common activity for companies engaged in sale of goods or products produced by these companies. By applying the computerized system as efficiently as possible so that it makes the job especially in designing an application program used to compile the data processing.PT. TUMORA ANDALIS is a company engaged in electronics sales. In the operation of the system sales of PT. TUMORA ANDALIS running currently experiencing several problems. Funds therefore, the authors tried to design a computerized sales system using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, which is expected to support all sales activities of PT. TUMORA ANDALIS in order to be effective and efficient, so it is possible to minimize any errors caused by human error, mistakes maker reports sales, mistakes in data processing sales transactions that occurred at the PT. It is scientific research which is the study by collecting data - data. The author obtained these data by conducting interviews related to the employees at the company. Abstract

Determine the model is a necessity in a company, the amount of raw material cotton uncertain within a company can result in losses, the amount of inventory that are too much than the required amount will result in overlapping inventories and working capital investment means embedded and useless. In addition cotton is easy once the goods are damaged and if damaged can not be used again in other words should be discarded. We recommend that if the total inventory is not sufficient number of requests or needs will lead to cessation of the production process that can damage the company image in the eyes of the customer.Therefore we need a model able to address the conditions of supply of, nor in determining the optimal model of cotton supply in the PT. XYZ, where the use of cotton each month is uncertain. The mathematical model is an approach that the authors analyzed for application at. XYZ. With this mathematical model it can be determined the optimal amount of cotton supplies each month is also equipped with a table-making opportunity loss as consideration for making the decision.

Abstract

Proxy server is a computer or program that can act as another computer to request the content from the Internet. Proxy Server acts as a gateway to the internet world for each client computer. A user interacts with the Internet via a proxy server will not know that a proxy server is handling requests are done. Web server that receives requests from the proxy server will interpret the request - these requests as if - if the request came directly from the client computer, instead of the proxy server.Proxy servers can also be used to secure private network that is connected to a public network (like internet). Proxy server has more functionality than a router that features packet filtering, proxy servers because it operates at a higher level and have a more comprehensive control of network access.
