Abstract

Remote sensing is the science and art of obtaining information about an object, area, or phenomenon through the analysis of data acquired by a device that is not in contact with the object, area, or phenomenon under investigations Remote sensing data is of such nature and volume as to require it to be compatible with processing and outputing by computers. They are the easiest, fastest, and most efficient way to produce images, extract data sets, and assist in decision making. One special function is to assist in manipulating other kinds of data about the spatial or locational aspects of areas in the world that are the subjects of interpretation and decision making. The bulk of the data in such systems have in common a geographical significance, that is, they are tied to definite locations on the Earth. In this sense, they are similar to or actually make up what has become a powerful tool in decision making and management. The Image-Based Information System (IBIS) was developed in 1975 at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and is designed to be a comprehensive geographic information system that performs operations on raster image, tabular, and graphics format data, using the Video Image Communication And Retrieval (VICAR) image processing system. This was accomplished by the creation of a new VICAR-based file format for tabulating raster format geographic information over multiple data planes.

Abstract

Pemakaian jaringan komputer untuk operasional perusahaan sudah merupakan suatu kehutuhun, sama seperti penggunaan ATM pada pelayanan perbankan untuk para pelanggannya. Akan tetapi biasanya jaringan yang dikembangkan oleh perusahaan tidak didukung dengan fasilitas keamanan yong memadai, seperti yang telah disurvey oleh Ernest dan Young tentang keamanan informasi, bahwa 66'% responden mengatakan security dan privacy merupakan penghambat besar penggunaan electronic commerce. Analisis Forensik Komputer merupakan usaha untuk mendapatkan bukti-bukti legal terhadap terjadinya suatu insiden, agar bukti-bukti tersebut dapat dijadikan pendukung untuk tindakan laniut terhadap tindak kejahatan komputer.

Abstract

A university as an educative institution needs an assessment for the programs it has. In order to conduct such assessment , some components need to be assessed based on the internal and external factors. It is necessary to establish a decision support system toward the performance of the department. It can help the decision maker to know the condition occurred in this department. 'l he assessment of the study program's performance for evaluating can be done by underlining the components that will be assessed by making the model. The model which is prepared by applying some rules, stated in accreditation board, will be used as a reference in performance assessment for  Diploma III program. By applying a model toward the assessment criteria from the related department, it will help us to get the result. The achieved result is in form of the total score from the assessment, the score is devided into 5 class excellent, very good, good, sufficient and poor. Consequently, the report of resulting assessment can be to determine some steps to improve or maintain the recent achievement. By applying the decision support system of the department’s performance , it allow a decision maker to be able to monitor the department or the study program.

Abstract

This article discuss research progress and future opportunities for modeling consumer choice on the Internet using clickstream data and also to compare the nature of Internet choice (as captured by clickstream data) with supermarket choice (as captured by UPC scanner panel data). Though the application of choice models to clickstream data is relatively new, and review existing early work and provide a two-by-two categorization of the applications studied to date (delineating search versus purchase on the one hand and within-site versus across-site choices on the other). The article discusses additional opportunities afforded by clickstream information, including personalization, data mining, automation, and customer valuation and also offers directions for further research in these areas. Notwithstanding the numerous challenges associated with clickstream data research.

Abstract

Decision Support System couple the intellectual resource of individuals with the capabilities of the computer to improve the quality of decision. It's a computer based support system for management decision makers who deal with semi-structured problem. An integrated decision support system for use in an machine mollen product has been developed. It incorporates a linear Programming model that represents the contribution optimal and optimizes the production water pump and mollen machine. An optimization model is performed using a management scient model called linear programming approach in older to determine media selection. To use this model, the DSS needs ti interface with another software. Mathematical Programming is a technique used in mathematical models, particularly optimization models, to assist in decision making. The Simplex Method is "a systematic procedure for generating and testing candidate vertex solutions to a linear program." (Gill, Murray, and Wright, p. -137) It begins at an arbitrary corner of the solution set. At each iteration, the Simplex Method selects the variable that will produce the largest change towards the minimum (or maximum) solution. The  development of computer programs to be used as Decision Support Systems involves several tasks such as mathematical modeling, technical and data collection and development of a user friendly interface.

Abstract

Kemajuan masyarakat baik karena pendidikan, perubahan sosial ekonomi serta faktor lainnya akan mendorong perubahan kebutuhan maupun orientasi. Apabila sebelurnnya karyawan atau pekerja mandiri cukup puas apabila penghasilannya dapat mencukupi kebutuhan mereka saat ini, namun sekarang sudah banyak yang merencanakan dan bahkan merealisasikan program pensiun sehingga mereka akan mendapatkan jaminan pendapatan tetap pada saat mereka memasuki masa pensiun. Sementara di Indonesia program pensiun baru dapat dinikmati sebagian kecil masyarakat khususnya baru mereka yang bekeria sebagai penawai negeri sipil maupun militer, badan usaha milik negara, yang disebut sebagai Dana Pensiun pemberi Kerja. Sementara kelompok pekerja lainnya sebagian besar belum diikutkan atau mengikuti program pensiun. Untuk itu perlu adanya strata revolusi atau gerakan dalam rangka memasyarakatkan program pensiun tidak saja kepada perusahaan tetapi juga terhadap pekerja pada perusahaan maupuan pekerja mandiri.

Abstract

Data menjadi sesuatu yang amat berharga di dalam abad teknologi informasi dewasa ini. Bentuk data yang dapat dilibatkan dalam hal ini adalah berbentuk digital atau elektronik. Perlakuan khusus terhadap data akan diperlukan apabila data ditujukan hanya untuk kalangan terbatas dan dikirimkan melalui jalur umum seperti Internet, sementara itu isi data tidak boleh berubah. Salah satu bidang ilmu yang dapat dipakai untuk membantu melakukan perlakuan khusus tersebut adalah menggunakan kriptografi.
