Abstract

With the increase of complexity in the business development, companies are required to survive and win the existing competition in business. Working with other companies is one way that companies can take. The cooperative relationship between buyers and suppliers is one example of the relationship that can arise in the business world. There are several factors that can affect buyer-supplier relationship, such as trust, commitment, and satisfaction. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of trust, commitment, economic satisfaction, and non-economic satisfaction towards buyer-supplier relationship in Surabaya. This research uses quantitative approach by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method through Amos program. The data used in this study is the primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires. The samples of this study were selected using non-probability sampling technique, the target population characteristics are those who work in companies domiciled in Surabaya and work in the purchasing departmentor in some companies called procurementand have a working experience in that section for ± 1 year. The number of samples used were 120 samples. The results of this study indicate that trust, commitment, economic satisfaction, and non-economic satisfaction have positive relation in buyer-supplier relationship in Surabaya.

Abstract

Abstract- The purpose of this research was to know the influence of information risk (accrual quality, beta, leverage, size, growth, ROA, interest coverage, and NIBE) as an independent variable to cost of debt and cost of equity as a dependent variable to company listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia period 2012-2014. There were total 249 observations in this research that consist of 83 companies, which were listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia period 2012-2014. The result of this research showed that accrual quality and leverage had a positive influence towards cost of equity, beta and size were negative towards cost of equity, while growth was not significant towards cost of equity. More results showed that accrual quality and size were positive towards cost of debt, while interest coverage and NIBE were negative; leverage and ROA were not affected by cost of debt of a company.

Abstract

s study aims to prove the effect of employee satisfaction towards customer satisfaction and customer loyalty intentions for family restaurants respondents’ in Surabaya.This type of research is causal research with quantitative approach. This study using purposive sampling approach, which is a sampling technique based on the consideration or personal judgment of researchers associated with the characteristics of the population according to the research sample. Respondents in this study amounted to 210 people. The analysis in this study using a model of SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) and processed using SPSS software version 18.0 for Windows and Amos version 22.0 for Windows for testing Measurement and Structural Model.The result of this study indicate that hypothesis 1 and 3 were supported and have positive significantly effect such as employee satisfaction has positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction has positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. For hypothesis 2 were not supported and does not have positive significantly effect that is employee satisfaction has positive and significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand and analyze the influence of attitude, personal norms, and willingness to pay toward purchasing behavior of organic food in Surabaya. Data processing was conducted using SPSS 18 for Windows and Amos Graphic 21 for Windows. The sampling technique that used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling type. 150 respondents who qualify the specified characteristics of the population were the total of sample used in this research which distributed by online quetionaire.The result of this research that there was a positive influence between attitude on purchasing behavior, a positive influence between personal norms on purchasing behavior, and a positive influence between willingness to pay on purchasing behavior.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the effect of capital investment to internationalization and f oreign sales growth and al so the effect of internationalization to firm performance in manufacturing company that listed in the I ndonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2015 period. The dependent variables in this study are internationalization, foreign sales growth, and ROA . Independent variables used are capital investmentandinternationalization, as well as control variables used are industry return, leverage, firm size, fixed assets ratio, market to book value, andsales growth. This study uses 2 regression analysis model, which is linear and quadratic model to test the hypothesis with a sample of 83 industrial manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2015 period. The numbers of observation used in this study are 415 observations. The result shows that capital investment has a s ignificant negative effect and U-shaped on internationalization of the company, capital investment has a significant positive effect on foreign sales growth of the company. Internationalization has no significant effect on firm performance.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of Functional Value, Emotional value, Social Value and Brand Identification towards Brand Loyalty Asus smartphone in Surabaya. This study also want to prove the moderating effects of Gender among these four relation. This type of research is causal research with quantitative approach. This study using purposive sampling approach, which is a sampling technique based on the consideration or personal judgment of researchers associated with the characteristics of the population according to the research sample. Respondents in this study amounted to 200 people. The analysis in this study using a model of SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) and processed using SPSS software version 16.0 for Windows and AMOS version 21.0 for Windows for testing Measurement and Structural Model. The result of this study indicate that 3 from 8 hypothesis were not supported such as the role effects of moderating gender between a positive relationship between emotional value towards Brand Loyalty, Social Value towards Brand Loyalty, and Brand Identification towards Brand Loyalty.

Abstract

The research was purposed to know and analyze the preference of Service Quality (SERVQUAL) on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty in PT. Adi Sarana Armada tbk Surabaya. This study was conducted to further examine which dimensions have a major contribution to service quality. Data processing was conducted using SPSS 15 for windows and Amos Graphics 20. The sampling technique that used is non probability sampling with purposive sampling type. The samples that used in this research was 150 respondents, who qualify the specified characteristics of the population. The results of this study indicate the influence between 5 (five) dimensions of Service Quality variable to Variable Satisfaction and Loyalty Variables at PT. Adi Sarana Armada tbk Surabaya in doing car rental.

Abstract

This research purpose is to know the influence of trust, commitment, communication, and empathy toward Customer Loyalty. Object that taken is Makmu Kafe Surabaya. Data that is used on this research is primary data which obtained by questioner spread. The respondent in this research is 200 respondents who once visit and taste food at “Makmu Kafe Surabaya” at least twice in 6 last months. Sample obtaining technique in this research is non probability sampling. This research uses quantitatif approach through statistic experiment. The experiment has done by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The research result reveals that trust gives positive influence toward customer loyalty, commitment gives positive influence toward customer loyalty, communication gives positive influence toward customer loyalty, empathy gives positive influence toward customer loyalty.

Abstract

Application of inventory control is aimed support bakery owner’s decision making in order to obtain optimum inventory and optimum production quantity in the lO best-selling products, namely Burger Buns Milk, Soft Pretzel Regular, Soft roll Cranberry, Walnut cranberry, Baguette Viennoise, Hot Dogs Charcoal, Olive focaccia, Rectangular multigrain. Application of inventory control was necessary because the bakery didn’t get the maximum profit and even suffer losses owing can’t determine the optimum inventory levels at the fourth weeks on December 2Ol3 until 2Ol6. In addition, the products are not sold until 2O:OO will also be sold at the residual value or scrap value of 5O% of the sale price initially. The implementation uses the method of calculation of Newsboy Problem or Single Period Problem. The calculations begin from determining the probability sold and cumulative probability. Thereafter, the method applied newsboy problem with the known unit cost, scrap value, and selling price. After getting what the optimal production quantity, expected profit is calculated by using the quantity of information production, sales quantity, scrap value, selling price and unit cost. After getting the calculation using the Newsboy Problem method, it performed the optimal production quantity, optimal inventory levels and expected maximum profit obtained the bakery at the fourth weeks in December when using the method of Newsboy Problem.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of show window towards purchase intent mediated by feel good inZARA,Surabaya. This type of research is causal research with quantitative approach. This study using purposive sampling approach, which is a sampling technique based on the consideration or personal judgment of researchers associated with the characteristics of the population according to the research sample. Thecharacteristics is respondents who visited ZARA and make some buy after seek a show window ZARAin the last one year. Respondents in this study amounted to 168 people. The analysis in this study using a model of SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) and processed using SPSS software version 22.0 for Windows and AMOS version 22.0 for Windows for testing Measurement and Structural Model. The result of this study indicate that allhypothesis supported such show window towards purchase intent and show wndow towards purchase intent mediated by feel good.
