Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Social Media Brand Communication on Consumer Based Brand Equity of Indomie in Surabaya. Data from 150 respondent in Surabaya were analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) via Amos version 22. Respondent were randomly drawn from Surabaya society who joined the Fan Page of Indomie on Facebook. Result of this study showed that firm-created and user-generated social media brand communication positively influences Brand Awareness/Association, but has no influences on brand loyalty, and perceived quality only affected by user-generated social media brand communication.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the determinants of internet banking adoption spesifically in Bank BCA Surabaya using the social cognitive theory. Research findings indicated direct impact of Trust, Compatibility with Lifestyle and Online Customer Service to Intention to Adopt Internet Banking Bank BCA Surabaya.Furthermore, the hypotheses of influence Website’s Social Feature and Ease of Useto Intention to Adopt Internet Banking Bank BCA Surabaya also moderation influence from type of device is not supported.

Abstract

This study is aimed to identify and analyze influence travel motivation, utilitarian value, and overall satisfaction toward re-patronage intention on previous research relevant infor-used at this time. Object taken is Mall in Yogyakarta.The data sources used in this study was primarily obtained from respondent using a set of questionnaires. Respondents in this study amounted to 150 people, the respondents who’ve been visited the mall in Yogayakarta in the last 1 year, and have a minimum educations of high school/vocational/equivalent. The sampling technique is a non-probability sampling with the kind of judgment sampling. Level measurement used are interval level. This study used method multiple regression analysis with using SPSS 22 for windows.The results of this study is indicate that travel motivation, utilitarian value, and overall satisfaction has a positive influence towards re-patronage intention.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the differences in gender motivation of men and women entrepreneurship in Surabaya. The object is taken are men and women who entrepreneurship in Surabaya. The data used in this study is the primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires. Respondents in this study are 150 male and female respondents who have entrepreneurship at least 6 months. The sampling technique of this research is Purposive or Judgmental Sampling. This study uses a quantitative approach with research design is comparative. The test carried using T-test Independent Sample T and Partial Test with the help of Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS 23.00). The results of this study indicate that there is no difference in motivation Need for Affiliation, Need for Achievement, and Need for Power between men and women entrepreneurship in Surabaya. Each dimension of the motivation variable that is need for achivement, need for affiliation, and need for power shows every indicator of difference between men and women entrepreneurship in Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to minimize customer complaints resulting from queue length and length of waiting time, reduce customers from queuing, analyze server (server) needs, and know what efforts can be used to reduce the length of the queue. So that the length of the queue can be minimized and can provide better service and performance.This research used M / M / 1 and M / M / 2 model to apply queuing theory method and assisted with SPSS 16.0 software as a basis to know the distribution to be used, then using POM Windows 3 software as base to analyze queue length, queue length in the system, time of service, and time of service within the existing system within the Adi Jaya store.The study found that of the three types of services and purchases owned by the Adijaya store. This store requires additional servers for the types of document printing services, Photo Print, and Photo Close Up. In addition to adding this server Adi Jaya store can make additional facilities to wait.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of capital stucture towards profitability using return on assets (ROA) as a proxy in agriculture sector companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2012-2016. This research uses quantitative approach with quadratic regression analysis model. This study uses sample of firms which are listed on agriculture sector in IDX on 2012- 2016. The number of final samples used in this study were 15 business entities with 75 observations. The study findings suggest that the TD variables have positive and significant effect towards profitability, while the TD2variables have negative and significant effect towards profitability in agriculture sector companies BEI on the period 2012-2016.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the role of background music on approach behavior, with the role of moderation co-creation and mediation perceived mood at consumers of Rumah Ice Cream Baratajaya Surabaya. Data processing is done by using SPSS 22 software. Data obtained from two different places, namely private universities in Surabaya and at Rumah Ice Cream Baratajaya Surabaya. The number of participants in this study were 160 respondents.The results of this study indicate that perceived mood proved to positively mediate the relationship between congruence of background music and approach behavior on consumers of Rumah Ice Cream Baratajaya Surabaya, co-creation proved to moderate the negative effect of congruence of background music on perceived mood at consumers of Rumah Ice Cream Baratajaya Surabaya.

Abstract

Based on the observation, it can be seen that the problem being faced by CV. Delima is the number of defective products that were produced during the production process of marie wijen Sriti in August 2017 has 13.53% of defective products, while the company has a defective tolerance limit of 10%. And the absence of clear working standards that cause the range of disability too far. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the use of PDCA quality control with the seven tools can minimize the production defects in the CV. Delima.Quality control analysis uses PDCA with seventools, capability process, and FMEA. The tools will be used to find the production process error and also fix it so that the defect can decrease at CV. Delima. The results of capability process analysis show that the production process run by CV. Delima is not good and also the control chart shows that the company's production activities are out of control. Can be seen on the control chart there are several points that exceeds the upper and lower limits. From the analysis of cause-effect diagrams, it can be seen that the factors causing defects in products come from human factors, materials, methods, and machinery so that companies can take corrective action to overcome these problems. The results showed that the problem of production process in CV. Delima can be repaired and can minimize the production defects by using PDCA approach with seven tools tool. In addition, the percentage of marie wijen Sriti's production defects percentage decreased by 6.47%.

Abstract

University Surabaya is one of the major universities located in Surabaya. In everyday activities, the University always strives t manage and manage the availability of books in the library, both for students and lecturers. In order for library management to run well, Ubaya applies the 5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke). So the purpose of this study is to describe the 5S method applied to the 2 units in the Ubaya library that is the administration and procurement department. This research is a pure descriptive type because in this research there is no implementation or design on Ubaya. The variables used in this research are 5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke). Source of data used to collect data on this skrispsi through observation and interview to the library. Analysis performed on the administration and procurement based on the application of Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke. The results of the research show that the administration and procurement of the application of the 5S method has not gone well. Because it is still found in 5S activities that are not as it should be.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyse factors affecting underpricing for non-finance companies that indicated their first public offering during 2006-2016. Independent variables used are percentage of woman director, underwriter prestige, percentage outside director, ownership concentration, institutional ownership, and profitability. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression as analysis model. This study uses a sample of non-finance firms that initiated their first public offering on 2006-2016. Number of observations used in this study is 78 observations. The results showed the percentage of female directors, prestige underwriters, percentage of outside directors, ownership concentration, and significant profitability against underpricing on the first day (1st day of return and abnormal return day 1) on stock prices in the secondary market. Then this research also shows the rebustness check result of underpricing on the seventh day (7th return and 7th abnormal return day) and thirty (30th return day and 30th abnormal return).
