Abstract

Traditional houses scattered with various unique forms in the territory of Indonesia reveal a distinctive and unique local cultural identity in their states and display the richness of the traditional culture of the Indonesian nation. The diversity of traditional houses in this archipelago has a high artistic feel in architectural forms, motifs, and similarities in philosophy. Still, it is rich in architectural structures that differ from one place to another. The traditional housing group for the Sentani tribe in Ifale village is formed from the unity of three different kinship groups of indigenous peoples. The three kinships live one life together as the traditional Sentani people and still maintain the ancestral traditions passed down from generation to generation by adjusting to current life developments. The traditional house of the Sentani indigenous people has changed with the entry of knowledge and changes in people's lifestyles. The shift in housing does not affect the existence of their traditional residence, a nation's wealth that must be maintained and protected. This study aimed to study changes in building traditional Sentani houses on Lake Sentani in Jayapura Regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive in conducting data analysis using qualitative methods (field data) and quantitative (excel program and SPSS). The study results show that changes in the way of building the traditional houses of the indigenous people of the Senani tribe towards the process of building and using house construction for the period 1907-1925 and 2021 have changed from places formed by their ancestors to modern traditional houses. These changes are influenced by the increase in community economic growth, public awareness of environmental and human health, and construction use following the latest developments in construction technology.

Abstract

Historically, the outer space structure of the Sentani traditional defense settlement is an ancestral formation aimed at protecting its citizens from outside intervention and defending themselves from tribal wars. The phenomenon of this ancestral formation is maintained until now as a pattern of traditional Sentani defense settlements. From the previous research has been stated, research on traditional settlement patterns on the meaning of defense and the sacredness of outer spatial planning has never been carried out. No research reveals that the sacred outer space in the traditional Sentani settlement is a phenomenon formed by a sacred defense space to protect indigenous peoples from intervention and tribal wars. The research method used is a qualitative approach using the Intrisic Case Study Approach model with the nature of descriptive research. Data analysis in this study used the method of Discovering Cultural Themes. The locus of this research is the oldest village written in historical references and the Sentani traditional village on Lake Sentani today. The data collection method used observation, in-depth participant interviews, measurable pictures, and photographs. The study results found that the structure of the sacred outer space of the traditional settlements formed by the ancestors is still maintained today as a pattern of traditional Sentani defense settlements. The structural pattern of the sacred space forms a defense space in the traditional Sentani settlement forming a sacred outdoor layout for the Sentani indigenous people with one entrance for visitors or guests to the traditional village, namely a wooden pier for the boat landing. The sacred outer spatial arrangement is indicated by the position of the "Obe Imae" traditional house as the center of activity and customary activities are located at the very front, the two customary zones as the seat of tribal chiefs (traditional devices), the third community zone as the residential space of indigenous peoples, the fourth zone ancestors (traditional graves) and the fifth highest worship zone, namely the church as a place of worship to God.

Abstract

For shop owners, deciding to open a new strategic branch is one of the main keys in establishing their business. In determining a good place will provide advantages for the shop owner. In determining a place, there are several ways that will be considered in an effort to develop its business and have criteria, these criteria will later become a consideration for choosing a strategic place. Deciding to open a new branch takes a long time because the criteria given may not meet the desired criteria. And in determining a place is not easy because you have to know the distance between one branch to another, so it requires a strategic and efficient place so that the shop owner can be accepted easily by a consumer. Therefore, to be more effective and efficient, a system is needed that functions to assist an entrepreneur in determining which place is suitable for occupancy. In this research, the method that will be used is Simple Addicie Wighting (SAW). The SAW method will process data by assigning a weight value to the criteria that will be used as a reference by making decisions after which a decision matrix value will be made based on the criteria. From the results of the study, it can be the best recommendation for the shop owner to establish a strategic place of business in accordance with the wishes of Sinar Rizky Stores. So using the SAW method, it has the highest rating value which is which area can be used as a place to open a new branch at the Sinar Rizky store. Abstract

The giveaway activity is a marketing activity carried out by a brand with the aim of attracting market attention, and introducing the brand more broadly to potential customers. By distributing prizes to selected customers. In this activity, several problems emerged, namely the Sukabumi Boutique Store admin felt that it was not objective because the process of determining the winner of the giveaway was only through the picker application on the cellphone, so that the giveaway winners who appeared did not pay attention to certain criteria and requirements. Determination through the picker application is only done by drawing a lot by looking at the name that appears first. Selection like this is considered unfair for customers who already feel they meet all the criteria and requirements but do not win the giveaway. In the implementation of the simulation of determining the winner of the giveaway, a method is needed that can solve these problems. The weighted product method is a ranking method where decisions are made by multiplying to connect attribute ratings. This process begins with inputting alternative data, then continues with the process of inputting several criteria that have been selected, namely, number of transactions, quantity of shopping, total visits, resellers. This selection process will determine the giveaway winner in a more targeted and more objective manner by taking into account certain criteria and requirements. Abstract

Internet connections that are not always stable and data security is not maintained from various threats from outside attacks in the form of hackers, crackers, viruses, and so on are the main problems for every client. Using the pfSense analysis method, this study aims to address the above bandwidth management and network security issues. The pfSense analysis that the researchers carried out included an analysis of total bandwidth usage, data security, and information for each client on the P3DW Internet network (Center for Regional Revenue Management) Bandung III Soekarno-Hatta City. The results of the analysis concluded that pfSense can work as a firewall that functions as a bandwidth limiter and network security. The level of client satisfaction increases with the infrastructure designs being tested. With a web GUI that makes it easy for users to configure, the basic system used is FreeBSD which is open-source, making pfSense able to be an alternative choice for building a firewall that is reliable, flexible, and economical.

Abstract

QoS (Quality of Service) on the internet network at STIKUBANK University Semarang should be maintained optimally as one of the efforts to meet the needs of internet users on campus. The purpose of this research was to determine the quality and service of the Wifi network in Building D8, STIKUBANK University Semarang so that it can determine the level of satisfaction of the users of the wifi network and minimize network disruptions early on so that the internet network is always at its best.. The QoS (Quality of Service) parameters used in this study are bandwidth, delay, packet loss and jitter based on the TIPON standard by monitoring the internet network at the Access Point of each room using the Axence NetTools application. Some of these rooms include: WR Room, YPPMI Room, TU Room, Meeting Room, Rector Room and HR Room. This research has benefits both theoretically and practically. Theoretically, the benefit of this research is that it can be a reference for other researchers who will discuss QoS (Quality of Service) analysis of Wifi networks at schools, colleges or other institutions. And practically, the results of this study can be used as material for study and information for STIKUBANK University Semarang regarding the QoS (Quality of Service) of the Wifi network in Building D8, STIKUBANK University Semarang. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the QoS (Quality of Service) of the Wifi network in Building D8 of Stikubank University (UNISBANK) according to the TIPON standard is satisfactory with a percentage of 91.67% and is included in the grade B category. Abstract

The internet is a computer network system that is connected to each other. To achieve an internet, you need a fiber optic network that can transfer certain information data up to speeds of up to 100Mbps. However, customer service often receives customer complaints regarding unstable Indihome network services in the Banyumanik STO area. So it is necessary to do research on Fiber Optic Network Analysis from Server to Optical Network Terminal (ONT) at PT Telkom Access Banyumanik STO Using the Fishbone Method. To analyze the causes that affect the quality of fiber optic network for good or bad. Network quality analysis was carried out using the Fishbone Diagram method as a basis for obtaining the results of measuring the quality of fiber optic networks at ODC BMK FAE/ODP BMK FAE 016 Jalan Banjarsari Barat – Jalan Tembalang Selatan. The results of network quality analysis through brainstorming sessions with 11 employees of PT Telkom Access obtained an average answer of 92%. Then measure the quality of the network in the field, namely from the Optical Line Terminal (OLT) to the Customer. The results obtained are directly proportional to the standard network quality analysis with an attenuation value of -19.10 dBm. So it can be concluded that the case study area has good network quality because the results of the average value of the questionnaire answers and the measurement results of the case study area have a value above the standard.

Abstract

Face is one of the unique parts of the human body and can be used for identification purposes. Research on the application of facial recognition biometric technology has been carried out since 1960 and continues to be refined to this day. Humans can easily recognize an object or image, but not for a computer. This is the background behind the creation of a scientific discipline called Computer Vision. One deep learning algorithm that has been extensively researched and used for classifying various images is Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The COVID-19 requires us to comply with health protocols, one of which is by wearing a mask when doing activities outside the home. The biometric presence system that is commonly used today can pose a risk of transmission because they have to touch the surface of an object that may have been contaminated from someone infected with the COVID-19 virus. Seeing the risks posed and the relevance to the times when people are accustomed to wearing masks, a study was conducted to create a masked face recognition system using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with VGG16 architecture. The dataset used was in the form of people's faces who were willing to be the object of research. This study produced highest accuracy rate of 85,71% with the application of various types of masks, namely surgical, cloth, and KF94 masks.

Abstract

From the results of previous studies in the commercial area of Jl. Boulevard and Jl. Pengayoman is almost never empty of illegal parking for four-wheeled vehicles, generally, four-wheeled parking is lined up in the middle of the road, usually during the day, illegal parking is almost crowded starting from the gate of Jl Boulevard, near Jl. AP. Pettarani, to the front of Panakkukang Mall Panakkukang. Meanwhile, the shelter also starts from the gate of protection to the old adhiyaksa quarters. Where along the protection road there are many retail shops and offices so that it makes parking lots up to the pedestrians and the shoulders of the road. This is what causes the loss of user comfort and the changing function of pedestrians in the Jl. Boulevard and Jl. Protection so that it is an act that is contrary to Islamic law which is unlawful because it is illegal, does not comply with regional law and also harms other people. So to restore the comfort and function of existing pedestrians in the commercial area of Jl. Boulevard and Jl. Pengayoman, so we raised a research theme entitled “Analysis of the Effectiveness of Parking Spaces in Commercial Areas Jl. Boulevard and Jl. Pengayoman Kota Makassar” We examine this to find out the causes of illegal parking for visitors to the commercial area on Jl. Boulevard and Jl Pengayoman Makassar City. The research variable is the effectiveness of parking spaces in the Jl. Boulevard and Jl. Protection. Data analysis used qualitative or descriptive analysis which was used to explain the results of interviews with informants and observations conducted on Jl. Boulevard and Jl. Pengayoman City of Makassar with the results of a literature review on the effectiveness of parking spaces. from the results of the research we conducted, overall the effectiveness of existing parking provision and services is still not effective. This is caused by The existing parking facilities do not meet the parking space standard (SRP), where the average parking area for commercial buildings (shops) on Jalan Boulevard and Jalan Pengayoman is 40m2, while the parking space standard is according to the Decree of the Director General of Hubda No: 272 /HK.105/DRJD/96 is 90 (1), and the results of interviews with respondents who use parking spaces in the Commercial Area Jalan Boulevard and Jalan Pengayoman on average answer the ineffectiveness of parking spaces in the Commercial Area Jalan Boulevard and Jalan Pengayoman based on the questions asked in assessing the level of effectiveness of parking spaces. Abstract

Plywood is a processed product of several veneer sheets glued together perpendicularly. Plywood can be processed into various kinds of furniture, such as tables, chairs and so on. For furniture companies, plywood is one of the basic materials needed in the production process. Therefore, the company needs a plywood supplier that fits the company's criteria. The number of criteria in the selection of suppliers aims for the company to get optimal results. The following are the criteria that will be used in the study including price, material, thickness, grade and type. The biggest problem that ever happened to the company and resulted in a sizeable loss was that the supplier changed the raw materials used in the production process without the company's approval. In this study an application was designed that could assist in rating plywood suppliers using the AHP method and then using the COPRAS method. The supplier that gets the highest score after being processed using the AHP and COPRAS methods is the best supplier of plywood. Application designed in the form of a website. With this application, it can make it easier for users to choose plywood suppliers.
