Abstract

Stikom Career Center is one part that is in Stikom Surabaya which serves to career development, which is under the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Alumni. Stikom Career Center officially have a website with the address scc.stikom.edu as a means to share information and act as a mediator between companies / institutions / industries job seekers and job seekers, especially those who come from the alumni Stikom Surabaya to seek employment information. During the service was implemented has not been done an evaluation of the quality of the website is based on the perception of the end user as feedback to party business website (Management) so that users become dissatisfied with the services of the website itself. The purpose of this study was to look into the matter by analyzing the relationship between the quality of the website (Website Quality) and user satisfaction (User Satisfaction) with 4.0 WebQual method that has Usability, Information quality and Service Interaction. Distributing questionnaires conducted obtained a sample of 75 respondents. Data from the questionnaire testing the variables with the validity and reliability, test assumptions to the multiple linear regression . The conclusion of the study is that there is the effect of variable Usability and Information Quality on User Satisfaction. This means that the increase can be carried out on each indicator variable that has the lowest average. Usability improvement for more emphasis on Display website, while for Information Quality improvement by managers can be emphasized at the complete information so that users become more satisfied.Keywords: Webqual 4.0, Usability, Information Quality, Service Interaction, Multiple Linear Regression.

Abstract

This research is motivated by common dental diseases that are present among people. it is evident that people will visit dentist only when they experience serious problems with their teeth, this mainly because a lack of understanding against the dental disease and also expensive charge of dental checkup. therefore, in this study we build an application for diagnosing common dental disease. a web-based application that is available to be accessed freely. The purpose of this study is to build a expert system for identifying dental disease.The expert system utilized the certainty factor method as the inference engine. The reason behind this is  because this method is able to produce alternatives diagnosis (the output of the system comprises of some diagnosis results). It can be seen that certainty factor method is very suitable for expert system problem solving for disease diagnosis. This research was done by way of anamnesis process (giving a question to the user). The system produces a possibility of the diseases as well as causative factor and handling factor.This work has been tested by an expert using 30 times experiment. Based on our examination some result were obtained as follows: Firstly, the system gives similar results in reference  to the expert judgment of disease. Secondly, the system gives possibilities of the disease when we considered confidence level above 80%. Thirdly, the results were considered invalid when the diagnosis of the system didn’t match with the expert judgment

Abstract

Education Department Bondowoso District field of education personnel have a duty to analyze of teachers placed needs. This time the field of education personel have a problem to implement analysis of needs teacher placement process among others the length of the process of data collection, and data analysis is still using the manual method. This problem resulted teacher placement needs analysis process takes a long time and error prone. To answer these problems then made an application determining teacher placement needs. Applications made under regulation with five ministers, this application will generate data that shortage or excess school teacher and produce recommendations that can be moved assign teachers. At this stage of the implementation of the application needs analysis the placement of the teachers in primary schools shows conformity with the expectation of 100% and worth to be used. Teacher placement needs analysis process done more effectively and efficiently than ever before. The data used was school data in the academic year 2013 - 2014

Abstract

The Institute of Business and Informatics Stikom Surabaya as one of the collages in Indonesia is obliged to carry out the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, that were education, research, and community Service. In the activities of research and community service, The Institute of Business and Informatics Stikom Surabaya has formed department that called Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (PPM). The problems that occurs was PPM Department hasn’t media for monitoring performance and also have experienced complication in collecting data because of two separate data sources from The Institute of Business and Informatics Stikom Surabaya and the Directorate of Higher Education (Dikti). Dikti provides facility in the form of a web service portal Management Information System for Research and Community Service (SIM-LITABMAS) to retrieve data on research and community service. The solution offered is to build a dashboard that can display performance information visually of PPM Department in accordance with performance indicators. Additionally to build a system that can synchronize data with SIM-LITABMAS via web service. The research proves that through performance dashboard for research and community service has been created, PPM Department can synchronize data with web service of SIM-LITABMAS and than see the performance of PPM Department interactively according to performance indicators.

Abstract

Abstract: Bangil IIB class State Detention Center (Rutan) is a Technical Implementer Unit of the Regional Office of Social Matters under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights East Java Province. In general, detention center as a development house for the citizen who commits an infraction in accordance with article 1 Number 12 of Law 1995 which describes about social matters. Bangil IIB Class Detention Center which is located at Mango st. 2 Bangil has 39 employees and the number of prisoners in December of 2013 for about 355 people, consisting of 185 inmates and 170 detentions. There is a process of giving proposals remission granted to prisoners in the detention center each year for those who have been running the requirements to obtain remission. In the process of making the proposed remission, the officers are required to calculate remission proposals accurately one by one prisoner, it is becoming a problem in getting the proposal which are calculated manually. Frequent occurrence of errors in granting remission proposal has impact on the inaccurate date of the prisoners will be free. From the existing problems, then a proposal about computing applications is made based on remission desktop with the title "Design of Application Proposed Granting Detentions Remission in Bangil Class IIB Detention Center " that is able to provide many contributions in service custody system in detention center. Based on the implementation result and evaluation of the system, it is known that the administration of Design of Application Proposed Granting Detentions Remission in IIB Bangil Detention Center Class-based desktop can become a solution in developing service management inmates and detentions. This application is also able to provide information on the proposed remission calculation more precise and easier to manage. It is also reduce the errors calculation of remission proposal because of inaccurate task by the personnel. Keywords:             Remission application, the calculation of the proposed remission, detention center.

Abstract

Desktop management section PT Telkom Regional Division V East Java has an important role in meeting the needs of employees working facilities . If the process isn’t going well , it can hamper the company's business processes . The section hasn’t been audited , therefore it is necessary to audit.Audit conducted by Telkom policy document with numbers: KD.57 / HK-290 / ITS-30/2006 which have been adapted to ISO 27002: 2005. Audit carried out through four stages: planning, preparation, execution, and reporting. Clause used are clauses 8, 9, and 11.of the audit results, obtained findings on clause 8 are poor employees of company policy, clause 9 namely there emergency exit used to review out access goods and in clause 11 that the co-worker who entrust each password. Recommendations to the findings of clause 8 is added the consequences of the policy document the company in accordance offense, to clause 9 immediately give special procedures so that the emergency exit is used for emergencies only and to clause 11, immediately repair mechanisms to control access to information by making ladder level password security on the application used.Keywords: Audit, ISO 27002:2005, Information Systems Security, Desktop Management

Abstract

Di Perguruan Tinggi Swasta STMIK STIKOM Surabaya, Laboratorium Komputer (Labkom) menjadi salah satu bagian terpenting dalam menjamin kelangsungan proses praktikum yang memanfaatkan Sistem dan Teknologi Informasi (STI) untuk memberikan layanan kepada mahasiswa, dosen, dan karyawan. Masalah yang terjadi pada penerapan layanan STI selama ini tidak pernah dicatat, akibatnya mempengaruhi waktu penyelesaian penanganan, frekuensi perulangan masalah serupa, hingga pengeluaran biaya penanganan. Hal ini menyebabkan turunnya tingkat kepuasan dan kenyamanan pengguna layanan STI dan tingkat ketersediaan layanan STI itu sendiri.Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka perlu dilakukan pengelolaan masalah layanan STI. Labkom telah memiliki kebijakan yang mengatur pengeloaan tersebut, namun kebijakan ini tidak berisi langkah atau cara bagaimana melakukan pengelolaan masalah layanan STI sehingga perlu dibuatkan prosedurnya. Pada penelitian ini dibuatkan prosedur sesuai kebijakan pengelolaan masalah layanan STI yang dimiliki Labkom serta panduan Problem Management yang ada pada Information Technology Infrastructur  Library (ITIL) V3 – Service Operation yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan langkah-langkah dalam prosedur.Penelitian ini menghasilkan lima Standart Operation Procedure (SOP), enam instruksi kerja, dan 18 rekam kerja untuk mendeteksi masalah, mendiagnosa masalah, menangani masalah dan meninjau masalah.

Abstract

Abstract: De Sam's Bakery & Donuts is one of the companies engaged in the industrial production of bread which is located on the road Rungkut Madya 15. The problem that occurs is when the customer selects the desired type of cake, but the product is not enough. This can lead to customer disappointment to the company, even the company can be left by customers resulting company lost profits. This happens because so far in determining demand, the company has not used the method only based on estimates.Solutions offered to correct the problem is to use the company's forecasting method can predict product demand for a specific period. Forecasting used method Exponential Smoothing forecasting Winter, because based on autocorrelation analysis using Minitab 14, it is known that the data pattern of demand is seasonal and there is a tendency to trend.Based on trial results, this study resulted in product demand forecasting applications using Exponential Smoothing Methods Winter. Applications can predict product demand for the next three periods based on the data demand of the product in the previous period. Based on the test results obtained by the results of 83.4% so that the application of forecasting demand for products included in the category of very feasible to be used.Keywords: Applications, Forecasting, Demand, Exponential Smoothing Winter

Abstract

Institute of subjects abdullah faqih (INKAFA) is private universities located in kabupaten gresik .As since 2013 until 2015 , this institute increased the number of registered as a candidate new students , so with the this services were to be raised .Therefore , management inkafa issued a policy to do migration from manual processes be process that computerized.Seeing the opportunity that is , the management inkafa requires an analysis and design the system for receiving new students that went into reference in making an application as on inkafa .Therefore , to research is made a analysis and design that can help the entire range of the process of admission to new students.The results of the analysis and design this system produced a document containing analysis problems, operational analysis, analysis of the needs on data, analysis the availability of, analysis capacity, analysis performance, the best thing of analysis, and analysis security, and design system which includes system flow, diagram context, diagram level, data flow diagram level 0 and 1.Design data, ui design, design security and a system design.From the analysis and the design portray a the things needed in building the system for receiving students the necessary new inkafa.Keywords : analysis , design system , the new students
