Abstract

The movement of people between cities is leading to a recovery in the economy that transportation companies have begun to dominate. These companies start providing the best services to customers and promoting them through workers to earn money properly. From this basis, this paper presents a system designed to manage a company that transports people and goods between a group of cities. Database management was used across the web to enable data exchange between workers. The database is designed to be accessible to workers. It has also been suggested that the elliptic curve can be used to generate public and private keys for all parties while the company's management generates a prime number every day to ensure the confidentiality of the exchanged data. In this proposal, the rivest-shamir-adleman (RSA) algorithm is used to encrypt transferred data. It uses technology to exchange information if the recipient is not connected to the network. The proposed system performs a good service for the company’s management in securing the transferred data where smartphone applications are designed to work on it.

Abstract

The regular image fusion method based on scalar has the problem how to prioritize and proportionally enrich image details in multi-sensor network. Based on multiple sensors to fuse and manipulate patterns of computer vision is practical. A fusion (integration) rule, bit-depth conversion, and truncation (due to conflict of size) on the image information are studied. Through multi-sensor images, the fusion rule based on weighted priority is employed to restructure prescriptive details of a fused image. Investigational results confirm that the associated details between multiple images are possibly fused, the prescription is executed and finally, features are improved. Visualization for both spatial and frequency domains to support the image analysis is also presented.

Abstract

An excellent navigation, guidance, and control (NGC) system had a high impact on trajectory tracking and the following scenarios. Both scenarios will include the heading, tangent, and velocity parameters in the computation. However, the control system design problem is not a new issue in the unmanned surface vehicle (USV) and autonomous ground vehivle (AGV) due to this constraint faced by many researchers since early these autonomy developments. Hence, this paper listed and emphasizing the techniques, including techniques implementation, strength, and the algorithm's constraints, a fusion of several techniques implemented for vehicle's stability, a turning ahead, and heading estimation. This paper concerns the similar algorithm used in the USV and AGV. Most of the selected techniques are basic algorithms and have been frequently implemented to control both vehicles' systems. Previous research shows pure pursuit guidance is the most popular technique in AGV to control the degree-of-freedom (DOF) velocity and the dynamic rate (sway, surge, and yaw). Simultaneously, the line of sight (LOS) controller is very compatible with controlling the movement of the USV. In conclusion, the technique's simulation test needs further research that will expose in the actual situation.

Abstract

The computation of the optimal path is one of the critical problems in graph theory. It has been utilized in various practical ranges of real world applications including image processing, file carving and classification problem. Numerous techniques have been proposed in finding optimal path solutions including using ant colony optimization (ACO). This is a nature-inspired metaheuristic algorithm, which is inspired by the foraging behavior of ants in nature. Thus, this paper study the improvement made by many researchers on ACO in finding optimal path solution. Finally, this paper also identifies the recent trends and explores potential future research directions in file carving.

Abstract

Modeling the behavior of the battery is non-trivial. Nevertheless, an accurate battery model is required in the design and testing of systems such wireless sensor network (WSN) and internet of things (IoT). This paper presents the one resistive-capacitance (1RC) battery model with simple parameterization technique for nickel metal hydride (NiMH). This model offers a good trade-off between accuracy and parameterization effort. The model’s parameters are extracted through the pulse measurement technique and implemented in a physical and dynamic simulator. Finally, the performance of the model is validated with the real-life NiMH battery by applying current pulses and real wireless sensor node current profiles. The results of the voltage response obtained from both the model and experiments showed excellent accuracy, with difference of less than 2%.

Abstract

In recent years, the emergence of social media influencers attracts the study of a realistic influence maximization (IM) technique. The theoretical performance of IM has become matured. However, it is not enough since IM has to be implemented in a social media environment. Realistic IM algorithms and diffusion models have been proposed, such as the addition of user factors or a learning agent. However, most studies still relied on the influence spread benchmark, which makes the usefulness questionable. This research is among the first IM study using Instagram data. In this study, two diffusion models are proposed, which are based on the original IC and LT models, with the addition of the engagement grade (EG) factor. An algorithm called IMFS (IM with followers score) is proposed to accommodate the new models as well as IC and LT. In addition, realistic benchmark methods are proposed, namely the average engagement of the activated users, and the overlapping between post likers and activated users. The result shows that the proposed models are 2-3x more realistic if compared to IC and LT.

Abstract

A remarkable correlation between chaotic systems and cryptography has been established with sensitivity to initial states, unpredictability, and complex behaviors. In one development, stages of a chaotic stream cipher are applied to a discrete chaotic dynamic system for the generation of pseudorandom bits. Some of these generators are based on 1D chaotic map and others on 2D ones. In the current study, a pseudorandom bit generator (PRBG) based on a new 2D chaotic logistic map is proposed that runs side-by-side and commences from random independent initial states. The structure of the proposed model consists of the three components of a mouse input device, the proposed 2D chaotic system, and an initial permutation (IP) table. Statistical tests of the generated sequence of bits are investigated by applying five evaluations as well as the ACF and NIST. The results of five standard tests of randomness have been illustrated and overcome a value of 0.160 in frequency test. While the run test presents the pass value t0=4.769 and t1=2.929. Likewise, poker test and serial test the outcomes was passed with 3.520 for poker test, and 4.720 for serial test. Finally, autocorrelation test passed in all shift numbers from 1 to 10.

Abstract

Distribution system represents a crucial portion of power system as it is the connection between the bulk power transmission network and the customers connected at load point. Distribution networks are increasing in size and are spread too far. Low reactance to resistance ratio and large size of network leads to higher power losses in lines and low node voltage at customer end. High power losses reduce the efficiency and affect the economy. Therefore, in this paper an algorithm for reconfiguration of distribution system for loss reduction and voltage profile enhancement is proposed. The proposed reconfiguration approach has been applied to 16 bus radial distribution system (RDS).

Abstract

For techniques used to estimate battery state of charge (SOC) based on equivalent electric circuit models (ECMs), the battery equivalent model parameters are affected by factors such as SOC, temperature, battery aging, leading to SOC estimation error. Therefore, it is necessary to accurately identify these parameters. Updating battery model parameters constantly also known as online parameter identification can effectively solve this issue. In this paper, we propose a novel strategy based on the sunflower optimization algorithm (SFO) to identify battery model parameters and predict the output voltage in real-time. The identification accuracy has been confirmed using empirical data obtained from CALCE battery group (the center for advanced life cycle engineering) performed on the Samsung (INR 18650 20R) battery cell under one electric vehicle (EV) cycle protocol named dynamic stress test. Comparative analysis of SFO and AFRRLS (adaptive forgetting factor of recursive least squares) is carried out to prove the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. Results show that the calibrated model using SFO has superiority compared with AFFRLS algorithm to simulate the dynamic voltage behavior of a lithium-ion battery in EV application.

Abstract

Intelligent management of the electrical network is the implementation of an integrated system based on a reliable and secure communication architecture for transmitting end-to-end information between the equipment and the management system. The main objective of this work is to develop an intelligent telecontrol solution for the electrical distribution network combining communication techniques and an intelligent reconfiguration strategy. The solution is based on a graphic model and a secure communication architecture using the internet of things to ensure flexibility in terms of management of the intelligent network. This intelligent multi-criteria solution uses a secure communication architecture and the MQTT protocol to ensure system interoperability and security. The tests were carried out on the IEEE 33 bus network and consequently, an optimization of the losses and a clear improvement in the nodal voltage were recorded despite the variation of the electric charge.
