Abstract

Background: Sexual health plays an important role for the quality of life. Most partners are sexually active both before and during pregnancy but they are concerned about their sexual activities that affect the fetus or pregnancy. Method: This study was conducted to explore sexual behavior changes during pregnancy and to identify factors related its changes. This study used systematic review based on the PRISMA Protocol. The literature search was conducted from April 14th to April 17th, 2017 by electronic databases such as Proquest, Scopus, JSTOR and Google Scholar using relevant keywords. The initial screening was conducted by reading the titles and abstracts. The relevant studies were further selected using inclusion and exclusion criteria. Result: Ten studies included in this review. Two studies were conducted by a qualitative approach, eight studies by cross-sectional, and two studies by cohort. Sexual intercourse frequency, coitus positions, desire, and orgasm was changed during the gestational stage due to parents’ fear of adverse effects, socio-cultural factors and maternal conditions. Conclusions: Factors associated to sexual behavior changes were maternal age, knowledge, marital status, level of education, perception, socio-cultural factors, religious factor, access to information, and social support.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is the disease with the highest number of cases among patients who visit primary care. Most hypertension is caused by a poor diet. One of the main causes of hypertension is poor food control. This study aimed to know the effect of diet control education intervention against the behavior changes in controlling the blood pressure for hypertensive patients. Methods: This study used the quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test with a control group. The intervention and control groups were chosen through the implemented criteria of inclusion and exclusion. The used sampling technique was a simple random sampling. There were 84 subjects of hypertensive patients. The subjects were divided into two groups, i.e., 42 patients (intervention group) and 42 patients (control group). The intervention was done for six weeks. Result: There were differences in dietary control behavior changes between the control and intervention groups. The intervention group had significant (p<0,05) change,1.41 while control group had decreased in score (∆) (0.47) where the value of p was not significant, (p>0.05). The average value of systolic blood pressure for the intervention group was 4.47 mmHg/5.17 mmHg, and the increase of the average value of systolic blood pressure was 3.63 mmHg/5.95 mmHg for the control group. Conclusion: Dietary control education influences blood pressure control for hypertensive patients.

Abstract

Background: The clean and healthy life behavior (CHLB) needs to be implemented since the elementary school age where the main target is elementary school students. This is based on the problem that most diseases often occur in school-age children (ages 6-10 years) including diarrhea, acute respiratory infections, helminthiasis and other environmental-based and behavioral-based diseases. This study is aimed to determine the relationship between media exposure and knowledge with CHLB in elementary students. Method: This research was conducted in all elementary schools located in Kramatwatu Serang-Banten in the months of February-July of 2018, with the sample of the research being fifth-grade students with as many as 150 people taken by using the simple random sampling method. Result: The results showed that 68% of respondents had a good, clean and healthy life behavior. A total of 94.7% of respondents stated that they were exposed to clean and healthy life behavior by media information, and 68.7% of them had a good level of knowledge. The relationship test showed that there was no significant relationship between media exposure and knowledge with CHLB. Conclusion: The knowledge of elementary school students was good due to the teacher and health promotion media.

Abstract

Background: The relationship between loneliness and the consequences of its harm to physical and mental health in the elderly is often reported, including an increased risk of death. Interventions that can reduce the problem of loneliness in the elderly are needed so that they are successful in the process of aging and prosperous both biologically and psychosocially. This study aims to summarizing current knowledge about several interventions that can reduce loneliness problems in the elderly. Method: This study uses the literature review method. The database used in the literature searches is the Science Direct, Pubmed, and Google Scholar. In the early phase of searching using keywords: “older people, loneliness, interventions, programs, outcomes”, it is obtained the results of 12 international journals from the period of 2017 to 2019 that matched the inclusion criteria. Results: From the 12 journals obtained, 6 are quantitative studies, 5 are literature review studies, and 1 is a qualitative study. It is revealed the results that some interventions categorized in the direct and indirect interventions are summarized and can reduce the problem of loneliness in the elderly. Conclusion: This review identified 10 out of 11 interventions (90.9%) using a community-based group approach and the other (9.1%) using new technologies approach. Although the number of studies on interventions that target loneliness in the elderly continues to increase, our reviews above do not reach solid and strong conclusions and their characteristics can be questioned.

Abstract

Background: Mental health disorders, namely anxiety and depressive symptoms, are common in pregnant women due to physical and hormonal changes. Social support, family environment conditions and the neighboring social environment are components of social capital that contribute to the health of pregnant women. The Indonesia Healthy Family-Program Approach (HIP-FA) supports efforts to empower families to provide social support to pregnant women, thereby increasing self-efficacy in pregnancy that will lead to giving birth to healthy babies. This paper aims to describe the social capital and efficacy of pregnant women. Method: This study was a qualitative study that described social capital, empowerment, and self-efficacy of pregnant women during pregnancy. The article search was through PubMed, ProQuest, and Google Scholar databases. The keywords used to search the articles included: pregnant women, self-efficacy, social capital, and empowerment. The author examined and synthesized various kinds of literature that were closely related to social capital in providing self-efficacy for pregnant women. Results: Social capital affects health and is the main determinant of health. The important social capital is social support for pregnant women by empowering families to give better attention during pregnancy. A healthy Indonesian program with a family approach (HIP-FA) is organized in order to increase the government's attention in overcoming health problems by involving family directly in planning activities, monitoring and evaluation processes, so that the families understand well the health problems of pregnant women in their families and can provide social support in dealing with mental health disorders of pregnant women and increasing self-confidence to be mothers and parent. Conclusion: Social support is a social capital that can improve family empowerment by paying more attention to the health of pregnant women. Social capital in the form of family cohesion and family environment can improve the self-efficacy of pregnant women and prevent pregnancy complications to prepare for the birth of a healthy baby.

Abstract

Background: Increased tuberculosis cases and deaths were caused by being untreated, did not understand that tuberculosis bacilli had been infected, coverage rates were low, coverage was high but treatment outcomes were low, and there were new cases due to demographic transitions. The treatment success rate for smear-positive was 86%. In Kulon Progo, based on 73 patients treated in 2013 as many as 59 people were declared cured. The aim of this study was to mapping the distribution pattern of pulmonary tuberculosis patients who re-treat, identify the place of treatment and access to health facilities. Method: A cross-sectional survey using a geographic information system, the sample included 162 pulmonary tuberculosis patient in 2014. The variables were pulmonary tuberculosis patients and distance to health care facilities. Analyzed by descriptive methods. Result: There were 8 cases of recurrent tuberculosis cases, 5 patient was difficult to access. Cases drop out there was 4 patient, 2 patient was difficult to access. The case failed 4 patient, 3 patient was difficult to access. In the rural area was 78%. Results of treatment of tuberculosis relapse in the first quarter, 1 patient was difficult to access, otherwise healed. In the second quarter, 3 patient was difficult to access, 2 patient was declared cured, 1 patient was died, with diabetes mellitus complication. 1 patient was drop out in the first quarter, access was difficult, stated back to follow-up. In the second quarter, 1 patient was easy to access, otherwise recovered. Tuberculosis failed in the second quarter, 1 patient was easy to access, otherwise recovered. Conclusions: The spatial pattern of distribution of pulmonary tuberculosis patients who re-treated was mostly spread in rural areas, patients had difficulty accessing health facilities, patients seeking medical treatment in several health care facilities to move in four different places.

Abstract

Background: the realization management health and occupational very important to a company. In the CV Cipta Mandiri still occured job accident that can damage employee although facilities that available. As long as CV Cipta Mandiri has perform management system safety and health occupational until necessary does evaluation of realization system. Method: this research constitute of descriptive research with planning cross sectional. The collect of data with does analysis direct on field and interview going deep to researce person. Result : the facilities of work is good, but it need completed wirh maintanance for good function. The company have comitment for does management system safety and job safety program for prevent occupational accident, such as training and counseling. Generally, realization of apply safety and system can run well. Conclusion: the management system of safety and healthy job includes having good facilities. Comitment of the company and the program of preventing accident in a job has been run well, but there must be luck in other aspect that must be improved. Abstract

Background: Service center medical skin is a new service PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta, the necessary research to find out the marketing strategy plan that will be used PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta. The marketing strategies of medical skin care center that will be researched to see of the marketing mix, consisting of product, price, place, promotion, people, processes and Physical evidence, from the marketing mix in the analysis using the SWOT analysis to determine the right strategy. Method: The study was descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the Director of Medical Services, Marketing Manager, one Marketing staff, dermatologist and six patients. The instrument used a form of interview guidelines and the type of recorder. Data analysis Used SWOT analysis. Results: (1) Aspects of the product; Products used in cooperation with Ristra because Ristra is a product that has been certified legal, so safe to use MUI emergency. (2) Aspects of the price, price is still relatively cheap because they still get the discount. (3) Aspects of the place; PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta strategically located alongside the highway easily accessible by any transportation making it easier for patients to come to the skin medical center. (4) Promotion: Promotion is not maximized, not broad market area just around the DIY. (5) People; trained human resources, good, loyal and work according to the procedure, Consumers who feel happy and satisfied with the services provided at the medical center skin. (6) Physical evidence; facilities and infrastructure such as physical buildings, medical equipment provided by hospital and has been standard. (7) Process: The process of medical skin care center for treatment tailored to the criteria that will be used in patient care, marketing process of the skin as support medical center for promotional material. Conclusion: The PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta in cooperation with the product Ristra because. legal and safe to use, its strategic location but the parking lot should be disciplined, the promotion should be more leverage and targets a broader region, based on SWOT analysis the most appropriate strategy used PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta is an aggressive strategy because it can be made in reference to using a strategy oriented to growth stage.Keywords: Skin Medical Center Services, Marketing Mix, SWOT analysis, Strategic Marketing

Background: Growth of motor vehicle in Yogyakarta mean 11,9 percent of year. A new motor vehicle Accretion every year reach 83.761 unit, more than 90 percent among other things vehicle wheel two or motorbike. In line with increase sum up the motor vehicle cause the increase sum up the consumption oil fuel, so that cause the gas throw away the motor vehicle like Carbon Monoxide ( CO), Hydrocarbon ( HC), Oxide Nitrogen ( Nox), Oxide Sulfur (Sox) And partikulat Pb mount also. Excelsior of concentration CO which breathed by human being hence fatal progressively risk accepted by the human being, even cause the death. Nature of not scentless gaseous CO and not chromatic also very the toxic, then CO is often conceived of silent killer. Strive the operation with the modification of burner machine conduct the innovation of muffler. With the addition of glass wool, active charcoal, water or other dissimilar substance having the character of adsorb or absorb. this Research target to Know the degradation of rate of gas emission throw away the carbon monoxide ( CO) with the active charcoal addition a motor vehicle. Method: this was experimentant research by one group pre and post design descriptively and analytic. Sample of research some of gas emission throw away the carbon monoxide (CO) high secretory the muffler of motorcycle honda supra, measuring instrument used in this research field observation with the active charcoal addition muffler motorcycle, and measuring instrument of inspection of carbon monoxide rate (CO) By analysis means of Auto Check 974/S. Analysis the data use the one way Anova. Result : test of Anova of degradation of rate of gas emission throw away the carbon monoxide ( CO) with the active charcoal addition 50, 100, 150 gram of motor vehicle. Assess the mean difference average the rate 150gr to rate 50gr showing number - 1.17600* meaning active charcoal gift 150gr better the than gift 50gr. Seen from value sig for the line of fifth assess sig 0,035 < 0,05 meaning Ho refused and Ha accepted so that there degradation difference by sig. Conclusion : There was degradation of rate of gas emission throw away the carbon monoxide ( CO) with the active charcoal addition at motor vehicle. Abstract

Background: The high prevalence of hypertension and its complications made the society more awareness. The people do some efforts to control blood pressure by limit the consumption of the food that could arise blood pressure such as mutton. The aim of this research was to determine the differences of average blood pressure before and after mutton consumption. Method: This research was a part of experimental method. The research was conduct at Belang Wetan, Klaten Utara. The sample of this research were 42 people with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The samples are chosen by consecutive sampling method. The blood pressure measured before mutton consumption and after 60 minutes after consuming with sphigmomanometer. Results: The average of systolic blood pressure before and after consumption was 105.48±10.41 113.76±7.6 mmHg into (p=0.00). While the average diastolikic blood pressure before and after mutton consumption was 67.62±7.9 to 75±5.52 mm Hg (p=0.00). Conclusion: There is a difference of average blood pressure before and after mutton consumption increasing blood pressure.
