Abstract

Background : Hospital are organizations that are running health service to the society in certain area of coverage. In giving its service, there is residential service that dominates the services available. Its because the service giving such contribution for patient care. According to the medical record RSIY PDHI in the current 2 months the residential service experiences increase of patient number, about 10 percent. Thus however causes the service burden increased and if its continuing may causing fatigue that decreases the services quality. A lot of work may give trouble and stress to the nurses. This researchs goal is to figure out relation between burden or work, jon stress, and the level of conflict to nurses exhaustion in RSIY PDHI.Methods : This research was a quantitative research using analytical survey method (explanatory study) with cross sectional plan of research. Samples are nurses of residential service, 52 persons in number. This research utilizes questionnaire and data analysis with chi-square equation (?=0.05).Results : This research showed there are strong relationship between burden of work, job stress, and the level of conflict to nurses exhaustion among the nurses with level of significance burden of work (?=0.000), job stress (?=0.026), and the level of conflict (?=0.000).Conclusion : Any relation between burden of work with nurses exhaustion in residential service. Any relation between job stress with nurses exhaustion and any relation between the level of conflict with nurses exhaustion. Thats way its needed to develop the nurses career, well stress management, and conflict optimizing that the nurses would be kept motivated in working that it would tackle nurses exhaustion. Abstract

Hygiene of food and beverages is influenced by cutlery. Behavioral factor related to the food management is an important factor in food hygiene. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of knowledge and washing techniques practice with the hygiene tableware at food stalls.The design of this study was Cross-sectional. The study was conducted in food stall at the Port Health Office Samarinda using observation method completed by cutlery hygiene inspection. The research samples were 4 to 5 tableware and 30 samples of food handlers. Mann Whitney test was used as the data analysis.The findings showed that there was no relationship between knowledge and hygiene of utensils (? value = 0370), while there was a relationship between the practice of cleanliness of cutlery (? value = 0.002) in food stall at The Port health Office area in Samarinda.Suggestions for food handlers are to soak the cutlery in advance so that the rest of the food stuck or the hardened part can be easily off and cleaned. Do the rinsing with the running water or frequently replace the rinse water. Re-clean the cutlery using a clean cloth or frequently replaced and keep cutlery in proper place, avoid the dust and dirt. To the related institutions are expected to do the regular inspection of the cutlery, do the monitoring and evaluation to coaching and training and the need of local regulations governing cleanliness of food stalls in the port authority. Keywords: the Health of Cutlery, Knowledge, Behavior, Practice

Abstract

AbsractBackground: SP2TP is to meet the needs of administration at the higher level in order to develop, determine policies and utilized by health centers to improve efforts of health centers, through planning, mobilization, execution, monitoring, control and assessment. Based on the results of the initial survey SP2TP in Dompu has not been maximal. Therefore it is necessary to study the system of integrated recording and reporting of health centers (SP2TP) in the area of health services in Dompu Regency.Methods: This research is a qualitative descriptive located in all district health centers in Dompu Regency. Data was collected through interviews with the study subjects of ten people in the board of integrated recording and reporting system of health centers in each health center and health department.Results: The study results indicated that the reporting was still done manually; it still focused ondisease patterns and the most 10 diseases. The submitted report was incomplete because there was no coordination, guiding book, difficult transportation, electrical disturb, Feedback was given orally. In terms of data quality SP2TP was still low. This was proven by the low completeness and timeliness for report delivery. While the use of data and information was still focused on the annual profiling.Conclusion: the difficult accessibility of health centers with the Health Service made report shipping incomplete and not timely. Keywords: System reporting, system recording, SP2TP

Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang : Monosodium Glutamat (MSG) banyak dipakai untuk keperluan rumah tangga maupun industri makanan dan diperjualbelikan secara bebas. MSG biasa digunakan sebagai penyedap makanan. Mengkonsumsi MSG secara berlebihan dapat meningkatkan risiko berbagai penyakit dan juga dapat mempengaruhi kecerdasan. Salah satu cara untuk mengendalikan penggunaan MSG dalam pangan olahan sesuai dengan batasan maksimum perharinya, agar penggunaan penyedap tidak melebihi dosisnya dan aman dalam penggunaannya bagi masyarakat maka dilakukan promosi kesehatan dengan tujuan untuk menyampaikan dan menyebarkan informasi kesehatan yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penggunaan MSG.Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental dengan rancangan penelitian one-group pretest-postest design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah ibu rumah tangga yang berjumlah 60 orang.Hasil Penelitian : Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh promosi kesehatan baik metode audio visual dengan p = 0,00, maupun metode buku saku dengan p = 0,00, terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan penggunaan MSG. Tidak terdapat perbedaan rerata antara kelompok perlakuan metode audio visual dan kelompok perlakuan metode buku saku dengan p = 0,817.Kesimpulan : Ada pengaruh promosi kesehatan metode audio visual dan promosi kesehatan metode buku saku terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan penggunaan MSG. Tidak terdapat perbedaan rerata antara kelompok promosi kesehatan metode audio visual dan kelompok promosi kesehatan metode buku saku. Kata Kunci : Promosi Kesehatan, Audio Visual, Buku Saku, Pengetahuan Penggunaan MSG, Ibu Rumah Tangga.  ABSTRACTBackground: Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) was mainly consumed for household and food industry and it was freely sold. MSG has been long known by housewife because it is usually used as food flavoring. Overconsumption of MSG can cause several diseases, for example it can affect intelligence. One of the ways in controlling the application of MSG in food production with the maximum-application degree per day, so that there is no overconsumption of MSG, is to perform health promotion on the purpose of conveying and spreading information about health that it could improve people?s knowledge about MSG application.Methods: This was a quasi experimental study with one-group pretest-posttest design. There were 60 housewives as the respondent of this study. Results: The result of bi-variant analysis indicated that there was effect of health promotion both via audio visual method with p = 0.00, and pocket book with p = 0, 00, on the improvement of knowledge about MSG application. There was no different means between the audio-visual treatment group and the pocket book treatment group with p = 0.817.Conclusion : There was effect of health promotion both with audio-visual method and pocket book method on the improvement of knowledge about MSG application. Abstract

Background: Breast cancer is the second highest-rate incidence after cervical cancer. Moreover, the breast cancer epidemic is getting increasing over years. The aim of this research was to know the strength correlation between knowledge and delay in seeking treatment among breast cancer patients at General Hospital Center Dr. M. Djamil Padang. Method: This was a case control study. Respondents of the research were patients of breast cancer and had been registered at General Hospital Center Dr. M. Djamil Padang in July-December 2013. 122 of the total sample divided  61 cases and 61 controls were collected. Results: This research showed level of knowledge of controlled women had 1.86 times the odds of delay in seeking treatment of breast cancer. (OR=1.86, 95% CI 0.68 to 5.089). Therefore, having higher awareness in breast cancer is driven women  to early detection and screening methods by conducting an intensive counseling. Conclussion: Women had lower knowledge of breast cancer treatment this analysis suggests that women need further information about the different types of breast cancer symptoms to assist symptom recognition

Abstract

Background: Vegetables can be eaten whole or in part in fresh or raw (fresh vegetables) or cooked. Vegetables is beneficial for health because they contain relatively high nutritional vita-mins and minerals, one of which is cabbage or cabbage. Cabbage has dicucipun may still con-tain pests and diseases, such as nematodes. Due to poor washing. In Indonesia, the nematode intestine is still a public health problem is Ascaris lumbricoides, hookworm and Trichuris trichi-ura. Soil, vegetables and water is an important transmission media, a growing number of eggs found in the sources of contamination (vegetable, soil, etc.) will be accompanied by an increase in the degree of endemics. Advanced Research goal is to look at the relationship between the behavior of washing vegetables with intestinal nematode egg contamination in vegetable cab-bage merchant in the Village of catfish pecel Warungboto city of Yogyakarta. This study has the benefit of policy making in disease eradication wormy and add information that is consumed raw vegetables can infect humans through the intestinal nematode egss Atlanta.Methods: The study was observational analytic study with cross sectional research design. Washing behavior obtained by direct observation to guide traders with check list. Vegetable sprouts are used as raw vegetables (vegetables) contained on the merchant pecel Warungboto catfish in the Village of Yogyakarta. Wash solution for the deposition of intestinal nematode eggs used was 0.2% NaOH solution. Examination conducted by using techniques of direct ex-amination and then examined under a microscope. Data examination of the behavior of the cabbage and wash vegetables presence or absence of intestinal nematode eggs, species of intestinal nematode eggs. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with chi square analysis.Examination results: The results of this examination showed that of 26 respondents found 16 respondents (61.5%) had not properly washing vegetables and 10 respondents (38.5%) had a good washing vegetables. Bivariate analysis for the behavioral relationship with the intestinal nematode egg contamination in vegetable cabbage is a value sig = 0.35 is greater than the value of alpha (? = 0.05) and RP = 3.125 (95% CI: 0.424 to 23.007).Conclusion: There were no relationship between the behavior of washing vegetables with egg contamination in vegetable cabbage worms in the shop pecel catfish Yogyakarta Village Wa-rungboto 2011. Keywords: Behavior, vegetables cabbage (Brassica oleracea), intestinal nematode eggs.

Abstract

PO Nikko Putra is a bus company which serves Yogyakarta - Tempel route. The condition of bus machine which have old and lack of maintenance will cause high exposure a whole body vibration felt by the driver. The long exposure whole body vibration will generate health troubles, one of them degradation of visus. This research is aimed to know the correlation whole body vibration and working time with visus degradation of the driver. This research is conducted observasionally with cross sectional design. Research population are 55 people and the sample obtained is 26 people which meet the inclusion criterion. Exopusure whole body vibration suffered by driver is 1.257 m /s presence during 11 hours in one day, according to ISO 2631 included in category exopusure limit. The result of correlation analysis on Pearson coefficient of exposure whole body vibration and visus for right eye with p 0.981 and the left eye p 0.592, hence Ho is accepted because the p value > 0.05. Whereas, the analysis on the working time with degradation of right eye visus with p 0.709 and the left eye with p 0.990, hence Ho is accepted because probability value > 0.05. This research conclude that there is no correlation whole body vibration and working time with degradation of visus that the driver.Keyword: driver, whole body vibration and visus

Abstract

Background: Work shift is one of major source of job stress for workers that affect the biological, psychological and social life. Stress can happen in a short notice, but also can happen in a long moment. The excessive stress to threaten a person's ability to cope with the environment. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship shifts with work stress on the operation of PT. Newmont Nusa Tenggara in West Sumbawa regency. Method: This was an observational research with cross sectional design. The population of this study consists of 250 employees of the operation crew A of PT. Newmont Nusa Tenggara. The research sample is some staff the operation crew of A PT. Newmont Nusa Tenggara. The sampling used is proportionate with stratified random sampling technique. The sample takes 71 people. Analysis of descriptive data using frequency distribution tables and analytically to determine the relationship between two variables with bivariate data analysis, chi-square test. Result: The results showed a significant relationship between work shift and work stress with chi square value of 5.329 compared with T-score tables 3, 841 on df = 1 at ? = 5 percent (0.05) and prevalence ratio (RP) = 2065 (95% CI = 1.093-3.89), so that Ho refused and Ha accepted. Conclusion: : Independent variables studied (work shift) has a significant relationship to job stress. Keywords: Work shift, Work stress

Abstract

Background : Family planning program is a program intended to help couples and individualsachieve their reproductive goals. The low participation of men in family planning can have negativeimpact on women's reproductive health because of not only women are always actively involved, sowomen emancipation who demanded equality of rights between men and women becomes a reality.The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the characteristics of the husbandwith the participation of husbands become acceptors of family planning in the Village areaKarangduwur Petanahan Kebumen district of Central Java.Methods : This was a observasional analytic research using cross sectional research design in thisstudy were all husbands of childbearing age (EFA) in the Village Karangduwur Petanahan Kebumendistrict of Central Java. The number of samples taken in this study is 85 people. Data analysis wasperformed univariate and bivariate.Result : Result of hypothesis test showed that husband characteristic in terms of revenue associatedwith the participation of husbands in family planning as indicated by the value of Chi Square = 7.743(p = 0.005 <0.05), husband characteristic in terms of knowledge is not related to the participation ofhusbands in family planning as indicated by the value Chi Square = 0.022 (p = 0.882> 0.05), characteristic husband in terms of education is not related to the participation of husbands in family planning as indicated by the value of Chi Square = 2.292 (p = 0.130> 0.05), husband characteristic in terms of number of children associated with the participation of husbands in family planning as indicated by the value of Chi Square = 10.916 (p = 0.01<0,05). Conclusion : From four independent variables studied there was a significant correlation factors there are income, and number of children, or parity, and there was no significant correlation: education and knowledge.Keywords : Husband Participation, Family Planning Program, Acceptor.

Abstract

AbstractBackground: The number of treatment options for making competition among hospitals increasingly stringent anyway though not the business competition. The amount of this option makes every hospital must calculate the unit cost of each so as to make the right policy in determining the hospital tariffs. PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul is one of the largest hospital in Bantul. The Muhammadiyah owned hospitals have a social mission in providing health services to the community. The social mission of making hospitals PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul in setting the rates must be in accordance with the ability of the community. This is because the target consumer PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul majority of the lower middle class people. Currently PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul is developing the building, including increasing the number of beds to 300. Increasing the number of beds will make PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul as the largest Muhammadiyah hospital in Yogyakarta. The existence of this development will be made possible due to changes in the level of rates increasing operational needs. Background of the researchers interested in studying the patient's willingness and ability to pay in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bantul.Methods: This research is analytic research. Using cross sectional study design. The sample in this study amounted to 87 respondents.Results: Based on the analysis that has been carried out showed that the patient has the ability to pay an average of 100 033. While the average willingness to pay of patients included in the high category in the amount of 71.26 percent.Conclusions: 1) The average ability to pay inpatients Rp 100 033, estimated for three days. 2.) In order to conduct the promotion of hospital managers in an appropriate manner, for example by offering affordable rates to the public. Keywords: willingness to pay, ability to pay
