Abstract

Cuckoo Search merupakan salah satu metode optimasi metaheuristik yang terinspirasi dari tingkah laku burung Cuckoo. Algoritma Cuckoo Search pertama kali dikembangkan oleh Yang dan  Deb pada tahun 2009. Pada dasarnya algoritma ini dikembangkan untuk menyelesaikan masalah optimasi yang hanya melibatkan variabel kontinu (real). Akan tetapi, pada kenyataannya banyak masalah optimasi yang melibatkan tidak hanya variabel real, teapi juga variabel diskrit, bulat, dan biner. Masalah optimasi portofolio dengan kendala cardinality, yaitu permasalahan membentuk komposisi dari berbagai aset dalam portofolio sehingga didapatkan hasil yang optimal dengan cara memilih  aset dari  aset yang tersedia. Masalah optimasi portofolio dengan kendala cardinality melibatkan variabel real dan biner (0-1). Pada variabel biner, nol artinya aset tersebut tidak dipilih sedangkan satu artinya aset tersebut dipilih untuk dimasukkan ke dalam portofolio. Pada penelitian ini penulis memodifikasi algoritma Cuckoo Search sehingga mampu mengatasi masalah optimasi yang melibatkan variabel real dan biner, yang selanjutnya disebut algoritma Binary Cuckoo Search. Kemudian algoritma tersebut diterapkan pada masalah meminimumkan risiko (Minrisk) dan memaksimumkan return (Maxret) dengan memilih 20 saham dari 31 saham Hangseng. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Binary Cuckoo Search merupakan algoritma yang handal untuk mengatasi masalah optimasi portofolio dengan kendala cardinality. Kata Kunci: algoritma cockoosearch, binary cuckoo search, optimasi portofolio, cardinality

Abstract

 Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persentase pada empat level proses berpikir probabilistic mahasiswa pendidikan biologi Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan biologi kelas C Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, sedangkan instrument pada penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri, soal tes, pedoman pelevelan berpikir probabilistic, pedoman wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh bahwa level proses berpikir mahasiswa pendidikan biologi untuk materi pada sub pokok bahasan :  (a) ruang sampel, untuk level-1 : 18,18%, level- 2:  18,18%,  level -3 : 40,91%, dan level-4 : 22,73%; (b) kejadian dan probabilitasnya, untuk level-1: 13,64%, level-2 : 27,27%, level-3 : 27,27%, dan level-4 : 31,82%; (c) Variabel random dan probabilitasnya, untuk level-1: 13,64%, level-2: 36,36%, level-3: 9,1%, dan level-4 : 40,91%. Kata kunci : proses berpikir, berfikir probabilitas, level.

Abstract

The success of students in problem solving is highly dependent on the ability of students representing each developmental problems and a higher representation influenced by other representations. The aim of research to uncover and describe the capabilities and dispositions mathematical representation based on the students’ mathematical power. The subjects were students (prospective teachers of mathematics) academic year 2015/2016 Mathematics Education Department, Sultan Agung Islamic University. The numbers of students in this study were 29 students. The data collection technique using a mathematical representation tests, mathematical disposition questionnaires and interviews. The study concluded that the representation is affected by the disposition of the mathematical aspects of a person, through a positive disposition will help increase students understanding of mathematical concepts. Furthermore, the mathematical representation will improve communication skills, perform conjecture and troubleshooting. In general disposition and mathematical representation was instrumental in enhancing the competence of the students’ mathematical power. Keywords: disposition, representations, mathematical power
