Abstract

The concept of community empowerment is the process of preparing the community with various resources, opportunities, knowledge, and expertise to increase the capacity of the community in determining the future, as well as participating and influencing life in the community itself. One form of community participation in RT 04 RW 01, Patemon, Gunung Pati, Semarang City in development is through a “jimpitan” program. “Jimpitan” is a tradition of community self-help program where the community voluntarily gives money or rice to the designated officers and usually the collection time is every day in conjunction with night watch patrols. This activity is an example of a village community empowerment program, where the community has an active role in working together to collect voluntary contributions and manage and process the results in the form of physical and non-physical development in their respective areas. In addition to utilizing money from the “jimpitan”, the collection process also has a positive impact, namely improving family attitudes and mutual cooperation in the community amid the rapid development of social media, creating harmony, peace, and increasing community participation in protecting and developing the environment. The tradition of “jimpitan” is very worth keeping because of the many positive effects it poses.

Abstract

Internasionalisasi perguruan tinggi menimbulkan kebutuhan penerjemahan karena komunikasi global menuntut ketersedian dokumen multilingual, yang salah satunya adalah dokumen resmi berupa ijazah dan transkip nilai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskirpsikan pengaruh Internasionalisasi perguruan tinggi terhadap kebutuhan penerjemahan, serta praktik penerjemahan dokumen resmi di UNNES sebagai perguruan tinggi yang memiliki visi internasionalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internasionalisasi perguruan tinggi menyebabkan meningkatknya praktik penerjemahan. Praktik-praktik penerjemahan tersebut dilakukan secara individual atau kelompok oleh pihak-pihak yang membutuhkan dan ada pula yang dikoordinir oleh pihak perguruan tinggi. Penerjemahan ijazah dann transkip nilai merupakan salah satu contoh praktik penerjemahan yang dikoordinir oleh perguruan tinggi. Proses penerjemahan ini dilaksanakan oleh tim penerjemah yang dikoordinir oleh perguruan tinggi. Proses penerjemahan ini dilaksanakan oleh tim yang ditunjuk oleh masing-masing fakultas. Tim penerjemah fakultas merupakan dosen bahasa Inggris atau yang dianggap memiliki kemampuan bahasa Inggris. Karena bukan penerjemah professional, alokasi waktu yang disediakan untuk kegiatan menerjemah beragam antara satu penerjemah dengan penerjemah lain, dan lingkungan kerja juga beragam. Hal ini menimbulkan berbagai masalah penerjemahan yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas terjemahan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the characteristic of meander and pattern management on agricultural farm in around the Meander of Luk Ulo's river. Observational location is at Luk Ulo's River Karangsambung's district kebumen's Regency,  observational region is divided as 2 regions which is segments 1 and segments 2, interview sample is done with purposive sampling method with determination sample of slovin's formula, gotten as much for about 86 farmers. This research uses descriptive research method. The result of this research to explain the pattern management of farm on segment 1 as monoculture, meanwhile for rotation of the plant, farmers still choose padi-padi-bera, meanwhile for padi-padi-palawija is decrease, farmer generally use 2 times to rotate their plants, farmers choose stool terrace because inclination bevels that steep enough, irrigation system which uses is rain tank (tadah hujan), management pattern of the farm on segment 2 monoculture, to rotate the plant is padi-padi-bera, and rotate the padi-padi-palawija is decrease, for farm conservation, farmers in this region generally uses causeway terrace or (pematang sawah) and doesn't use mulch, irrigation in this region is technical irrigation whereas for effortkeeps up river's environment, society on segment 2 haven't done effort keeps up river environment.

Abstract

The amount of divorces in Jakarta contributes to high divorce in Indonesia. East Jakarta is a city with an increasing amount of divorces from 2010-2014 and has the highest amount in Jakarta in 2014. Research on divorce was analyzed by considering the duration until divorce occurred, so Survival Analysis was used to determine demographic and socio-economic variables that influenced divorce.Data sourced from the 2014 archive of the Religious Courts and East Jakarta District Courts. The results of the analysis using Weibull Regression with 5% significance, variables that are at high risk in East Jakarta are couples who do not have children at their marriage, the gap of age at least 5 years, wife and husbands who worked, and the reasons for domestic violence, irresponsibility, family disharmony and economic problems also positively affected the risk of divorce in East Jakarta in 2014.

Abstract

This research raised about the character building in Perguruan Pencak Siat Beladiri Taangan Kosong Merpati Putih, this research using qualitative-descriptive research methods. Data source on this study using the primary and secondary data, which has the authors got from data collection techniques consist of observation form, interviews, and documentation from 5 January to 31 January. The results of this research show that there are three stages on the character building in Silat Merpati Putih, namely in-put, the efforts of character building, and successfully formed character by Silat Merpati Putih. In-put stage used as a pre-test to the prospective members of Silat Merpati Putih. Furthermore, there were eight efforts performed by Silat Merpati Putih on the character building. Based on the results of the author's research, there are seven main characters and 13 characters that go with it. There are three obstacles that have been faced by Silat Merpati Putih in building the character of it's members, consist ofthe members reason to join Silat merpati Putih, based on the family background, and teammates.

Abstract

Conservation of cultural artistic development can be done through local content Java language lessons. Goals to be achieved is to know the development of cultural conservation of traditional art songs of Jav through the lessons of local content in elementary school and know the implications of the development of cultural conservation of traditional art songs of Java through the lessons of local content in the primary school in order to “nguri-uri” Javanese culture. The results showed that the selection of local content selected by using the Java Tembang certain considerations, which are to memakasimalkan local potential and preserve Javanese culture-uri nguri Javanese culture. Learning the local content of Java Javanese song material having problems at school, among many classroom teachers who do not master the song Java so have difficulty in the delivery of the material and this led to a reluctance on the classroom teacher to deliver material Javanese songs. Implications of song learning in addition to preserving the song Java Java as one of the identity of the person to develop Java Java on the learner’s personality, because Java will be full of song, especially the charge of moral values and social values.

Abstract

This study shows that the empowerment of local women through the organization formed by their own efforts more effective than others who come from outside their community. The village is a village Sriwulan transition from traditional culture to modern culture. These changes are marked by the emergence of local institutions, namely the organization of grass-roots organizations (grassroots organizations) are diverse and have an important role in community empowerment. Local institutions appear on the initiative of the community and have a real agenda to strengthen the public welfare efforts. An important found role in this research is a study group of mothers who do women’s empowerment activities of its members, not just on matters of religion, but also social issues, economics, and art.Keywords: Empowerment of women, the organization of grass-roots

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan dan observasi penulis di sekolah yaitu SMP Negeri 6 Purwodadi pada kelas VIIA . Berdasarkan hasil observasi di kelas VIIA, pelajaran IPS ditemukan permasalahan yang cukup kompleks pada proses dan hasil  pembelajarannya. Berdasarkan nilai ulangan harian yang didapat  ketuntasan kelas hanya 56,25%. Oleh karena itu, penulis mencoba untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inovatif dengan pendekatan peta konsep melalui penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan peta konsep  dan mendiskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 6 Purwodadi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA SMPN 6 Purwodadi Semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 32 siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan metode observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan peta konsep  pada pembelajaran menulis dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Pada observasi awal nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa siklus I 77,44 dan siklus II 80,03. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan peta konsep  dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa.

Abstract

Development in Indonesia continues to be improved to reduce the gap between rural and urban areas. Gapbetween villages and cities make the urbanization because the opening of full employment and public facilities in the city. These development must reflect justice for all people; things that need to be considered in rural development and gender mainstreaming.Opportunities and strength of development for villages in Indonesia reinforced by the Government Regulation Number 6/2014 on Village Governance. This article will discuss gender fulfillment needs in poverty reduction on a village. The research was conducted with qualitative research method with document analysis. This research chose Nglorog Village in Sragen as the subject due to the status of the village itself in Sragen which classified into the red area of poverty. Poverty in Sragen recorded 14,87%, higher than the poverty rate in the province of Central Java (13.58%) and higher than the average Indonesian poverty rate of 10.96%. The findings show that the quality of gender equality in the poverty reduction in Nglorog village planning regulation is in gender-neutral level and the poverty reduction program only focuses on the fulfillment of practical gender needs for women and marginal elements of the society.

Abstract

Everyone is always faced with the choice to take a decision. To be able to take the right decisions, every person should know the steps. This paper presents what the decision-making steps and what is the importance of creative thinking in decision making.Creative thinking will help decision makers to improve the quality and effectiveness of problem solving and decision making results were made. In relation to the process of decision making, creative thinking is needed, especially in identifying problems and develop alternative solutions.
