Abstract

Awareness to optimalization the skill of student, especiallv about right of student to get good services which they have high capability and intelligent, has been formed acceleration program. This research will investigate and be focus to the problem of identification, the factor that cause appearance many problem in student of acceleration class d SD Hj Isriati Semarang, included how that solution. The characteristic of this research is exploration with case study approach Result of this research showed many problems appear in the beginning of class, especiallv socio emotional problem, like variation's emotional mature, emotional over excitabilities, more quite, dependent, difficuIt to make the decision less responsibility and less independently, always egoist and perfectionist. In the end of class appear academic problem like underachiever at Class VI. The other hand student of acceleration class have a positive character like more active, courageous and critical student, easy for acceptance the advice, high discipline, awareness and never doing the serious violation. The reason of socio emotional problem : young age people, over protective parents, over services, the parent wants to know all about their child business, determining the high standard score for their child. Underachiever causes by the change of learning system when the student was on Class VI, bored more claim and less commitment of task. Suggestions: to prepare the students for their socio emotionally development, like : confident, mature emotionally, independent, and task of commitment. The parents should be support and giving adequate assistance, giving good and harmonize parenting pattern at home with school’s parenting pattern. The parents should not give more claim about standard achievement for their child, but they must monitoring and giving motivation, sensitive with their child problem. If there was seen stress indication or bad behavior, as soon as possible to get consultation to the teacher or psychologist. For school and teacher have to monitoring the achievement development student of acceleration class and to created good teaching to increase the task commitment of student, so that can get the wonderful academic achievement.

Abstract

Siswa memiliki peran dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan cara menjalankan proses belajar yang baik serta mengerjakan tugas secara mandiri dan bertanggung jawab. Ini dapat dicapai apabila siswa mempunyai kemampuan self-regulated learning (SRL), yaitu kemampuan mengatur disiplin diri saat belajar. Terdapat faktor eksternal dan internal yang mendorong SLR siswa, yaitu pola asuh autoritatif (PAA) dan efikasi diri (ED). Penelitian ini hendak mengkaji peran PAA dan ED pada SRL siswa remaja di SMA Negeri 1 Ubud secara kuantitatif. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 198 siswa remaja di SMA Negeri 1 Ubud, yang dipilih melalui systematic random sampling. Alat ukur penelitian terdiri dari skala self-regulated learning (SRL), skala pola asuh autoritatif (PAA), dan skala efikasi diri (ED). Analisis hasil menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda yang mengindikasikan adanya peran PAA dan ED pada SRL sebesar 50,4% dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p0,05). Hal ini berarti hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Secara lebih lanjut, PAA diketahui berperan secara mandiri pada SRL serta ED juga berperan mandiri pada SRL siswa remaja di SMA Negeri 1 Ubud.Students take part in improving the quality of education by studying properly and completing their tasks responsibly. These can only be achieved when students have self-regulated learning (SRL), which is the ability to discipline themselves in the activity of studying. There are external and internal factors that encourage SRL of adolescent student, which is authoritative parenting (PAA) and self-efficacy (ED). This study wants to examine the role of PAA and ED in SRL of adolescent students in SMA Negeri 1 Ubud quantitatively. The participants of this study consisted of 198 adolescent students in SMA Negeri 1 Ubud who were chosen through systematic random sampling. The instruments of this study are self-regulated learning scale, authoritative parenting scale, and self-efficacy scale. This study using multiple regression analysis technique that show the role of PAA and ED in SRL by 50.4% with a significance value is 0,000 (p 0.05). Furthermore, this study indicates that PAA independently has significant role in SRL. ED also independently has significant role in SRL of adolescent students in SMA Negeri 1 Ubud.

Abstract

Abstrak. Sekolah berdasarkan sistem pembelajaran dapat dibedakan menjadi dua yaitu coeducational school dan single sex school.Data studi awal memperoleh hasil bahwa siswa coeducational school dan single sex school memiliki tingkat kecerdasan interpersonal yang berbeda.Penelitian ini bertujuan membuktikan apakah ada perbedaan kecerdasan interpersonal pada dua jenis sekolah.Jenis dan desain penelitian adalah kuantitatif komparasi. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XII coeducational school dan single sex school. Teknik sampling pada coeducational school menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah yaitu 65 siswa.Sedangkan pada single sex school digunakan teknik sampling kuota dengan jumlah 65 siswa.Alat ukur penelitian adalah skala kecerdasan interpersonal dan dianalisa secara inferensial menggunakan independent sample t-test.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan kecerdasan interpersonal antara siswa coeducational school dan single sex school. Uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil nilai signifikansi 0,281 0,05. Hipotesis penelitian ini ditolak, siswa coeducational school dan single sex school mempunyai tingkat kecerdasan interpersonal pada kategori sedang s/d tinggi.Peneliti memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan kecerdasan interpersonal antara siswa coeducational school dan single sex school.Saran penelitian yaitu sekolah yang memiliki siswa dengan kecerdasan interpersonal dalam kategori tinggi diharapkan dapat mengembangkan program yang bertujuan meciptakan generasi muda dengan kecerdasan interpersonal yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Interpersonal; Single sex school; Coeducational school Abstract.School based on learning system can be divided into two namely coeducational school and single sex school. Early study data obtained results that students of coeducational school and single sex school had different levels of interpersonal intelligence. This study aims to prove whether there are differences in interpersonal intelligence in two types of schools.The type and design of the study is quantitative comparison. The study population is the students of class XII coeducational school and single sex school. The sampling technique in coeducational school using total sampling with the amount of 65 students. While the single sex school used quota sampling technique with the number of 65 students. The research tool is the scale of interpersonal intelligence and analyzed inferential using independent samplet-test.The results showed no differences in interpersonal intelligence between students coeducational school and single sex school. Hypothesis test results obtained value of significance of 0.281 0.05. The hypothesis of this study was rejected, coeducational school students and single sex school had interpersonal intelligence level in medium to high category.The researchers concluded that there was no difference in interpersonal intelligence between coeducational schoolgirls and single sex schools. The research suggestion is that schools that have students with interpersonal intelligence in the high category are expected to develop a program that aims to create a younger generation with better interpersonalintelligence.

Abstract

Berangkat sekolah biasanya merupakan suatu hal yang menyenangkan bagi kebanyakan anak – anak, namun tidak semua anak merasakan hal yang sama. Bahkan terdapat beberapa anak yang tidak dapat menikmati aktivitas bersekolah dengan baik, sebagian ada yang menolak untuk pergi ke sekolah dengan berbagai macam alasan, ada juga yang memperlihatkan ketakutan, cemas, dan bahkan panik jika harus pergi ke sekolah (school refusal). Pada siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) kecenderungan perilaku untuk tidak hadir di sekolah disertai dengan ketakutan yang tidak irasional (emosi yang tinggi, seperti menangis, temper tantrum, atau keluhankeluhan fisik seperti sakit perut, pusing, mual,dan lain sebagainya) dan terjadi dengan periode dan alasan yang bervariasi yang berlangsung secara konsisten, dan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa penyebab. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap gambaran penolakan sekolah pada siswa SD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan tes psikologis. Data dianalisis melalui tiga tahapan yaitu : reduksi data, display data dan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini melibatkan satu subjek sebagai narasumber utama dan empat subjek narasumber sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penolakan sekolah yang dilakukan berawal dari perubahan kondisi keluarga karena ayah meninggal, dan sejak saat itu subjek mulai menunjukkan perilaku yang negatif salah satunya adalah melakukan penolakan sekolah. Penolakan sekolah yang dilakukan subjek termasuk dalam tingkat kategori Chronic school refusal behavior, yaitu penolakan sekolah yang berlangsung lebih dari satu tahun.School has become essential that the environment can not be separated from the child’s life because most of the time children spent in school activities. Going to school is usually a fun thing for most kids - children, but not all children feel the same way. In fact, there are some children who can not enjoy a good education activities, some have refused to go to school for various reasons, there is also a show of fear, anxiety, and even panic if you have to go to school. Rejection of schools (school refusal) is a disorder of emotion shown by behavioral tendencies to not be present in schools occurs in children or adolescents accompanied by fear of the irrational (high emotion, such as crying, temper tantrums, or physical complaints such as abdominal pain, dizziness, nausea, etc.) and occurs with a period and varied reasons that take place consistently, and is influenced by a number of causes. This study aims to reveal the picture of school refusal on elementary school students. the method used in this study is a qualitative approach case study. The technique of collecting data using interview techniques, observation and psychological tests. Data analysis through three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. In this study only one subject and four secondary sources. The results showed that school refusal of the subject originated from changes in family circumstances because the father died, and since that time the subject began to show negative behavior that one is doing school refusal. School refusal of the subject included in the category level of Chronic school refusal behavior, namely the rejection of the school that lasted more than one year.
Hubungan Antara Kesesuaian Pekerjaan-Individu Terhadap Intensi Mengundurkan Diri pada Hotel X: Intervensi Job Crafting

Abstract

Beberapa penelitian menemukan bahwa kesesuaian pekerjaan-individu (person-job fit) memiliki hubungan dengan intensi mengundurkan diri (turnover intention). Akan tetapi, belum banyak penelitian yang menguji keefektifan intervensi job craftingpada hubungan kedua variabel tersebut. Padahal, beberapa penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa job crafting merupakan intervensi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kesesuaian pekerjaan-individu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada karyawan hotel (N = 40) untuk menguji hubungan kesesuaian pekerjaan-individu dan intensi mengundurkan diri. Sedangkan, responden intervensi job crafting dipilih berdasarkan skor kesesuaian pekerjaan-individu yang rendah dan intensi mengundurkan diri yang tinggi (N = 6). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa karyawan yang memiliki tingkat kesesuaian pekerjaan-individu yang tinggi akan memiliki intensi mengundurkan diri yang rendah. Selanjutnya, hasil mengindikasikan bahwa job craftingdinilai sebagai intervensi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kesesuaian pekerjaan-individukaryawan sehingga dapat menurunkan intensi untuk mengundurkan diri. Penemuan ini menyarankan bahwa dengan melakukan job crafting, karyawan dapat mengoptimalkan kesesuaian mereka dengan pekerjaannya.Some scholars found that the person-job fit has a relationship with turnover intention. But, not many studies examined the effectiveness of job crafting intervention towards the relationship between these variables. Several studies indicate that job crafting is the best intervention to improve person-job fit. Data collection was conducted on hotel employees (N=40) to examine the relationship between person-job fit and turnover intention. Meanwhile, respondents on job crafting intervention were selected based on scores. Results indicate that employees who have a high level of person-job fit will have a low intention to quit. Furthermore, results indicate that job crafting is considered as the right intervention to optimize their person-job fit so that it can reduce their turnover intention. These findings suggest that by crafting their work, an individual can maximize their suitability with their work.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap dan ekspektasi terhadap profesi guru. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Tehnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan incidental sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan karena faktor kebetulan yang dijumpai oleh peneliti. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 150 orang yang terdiri dari semua prodi. Metode penguntpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala psikologi, yaitu skala sikap terhadap profesi guru sebanyak 53 item dan skala ekspektasi terhadap profesi guru sebanyak 58 item. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai r = 0.365 dengan p = 0.00 (p 0.05) yang artinya ada hubungan antara sikap dan ekpektasi terhadap profesi guru pada mahasiswa mahasiswa non kependidikan program profesi keguruan di IKIP PGRI Semarang. This research aimed at discovering the attitude and expectation towards teacher profession. The conducted research was one of descriptive quantitative study. The sample in this research was taken using incidental sampling technique, i.e. a sampling performed due to the incidental factors the researcher found. The sample taken in this research was 150 respondents consisting of those coming from all majors. The data collection method in this research used psychological scale, namely scale of attitude towards teacher profession as many as 53 items and scale of expectation towards teacher profession as many as 58 items. The analysis result indicated a value of r = 0.365 with p = 0.00 (p 0.05), meaning that there was a relationship between attitude and expectation towards teacher profession in non-educational students of teacher profession program in IKIP (Institute of Teacher Training and Pedagogy) PGRI Semarang.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari fenomena di dunia olahraga  yaitu kecemasan yang sering dirasakan para atlet saat menghadapi kompetisi olahraga. Sebelum berkompetisi para atlet biasanya mengalami beberapa gejala kecemasan, misalnya sulit berkonsentrasi, otot terasa tegang, dan takut mengecewakan orang-orang terdekat. Hal itu dapat dikurangi dengan melakukan sebuah teknik intervensi yaitu dengan mengolah nafas dan pemusatan pikiran yang diberi nama teknik relaksasi pernafasan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas teknik relaksasi pernafasan dalam mengurangi kecemasan atlet futsal yang hendak bertanding. Subjek penelitian adalah atlet BATMAN F.C dan Mustika F.C yang hendak bertanding dalam turnamen BINPORA yang keseluruhan berjumlah 22 subjek. Subjek dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol menggunakan teknik unrandomized. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen pretest-posttest control group. Data penelitian diambil menggunakan skala SAS-2 yang merupakan skala kecemasan atlet yang baku dan telah disempurnakan. SAS-2 terdiri dari  15 item dan validitasnya diukur dengan menggunakan profesional judgement dari para ahli psikologi olahraga serta dosen pembimbing dan koefisien alpha cronbach reliabilitasnya 0,822. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik Wilcoxon Mann-Whitney U-Test. Berdasarkan teknik analisis tersebut, diperoleh nilai p= 0,005 pada pretest dan posttest kelompok eksperimen dengan taraf signifikansi atau p  0,05. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan antara pretest dan posttest pada kelompok eksperimen yang berarti bahwa teknik relaksasi pernafasan efektif untuk mengurangi kecemasan atlet futsal yang hendak bertanding. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan masukan bagi atlet futsal BATMAN F.C dan Mustika F.C untuk dapat mengurangi kecemasannya sebelum menghadapi pertandingan dengan melakukan teknik relaksasi pernafasan agar dapat bermain dengan maksimal dan dapat mengeluarkan  potensi terbaiknya. Kata Kunci: Teknik relaksasi pernafasan, kecemasan atlet, atlet futsal AbstractThis research is motivated of the phenomenon in the world of sports is the anxiety that is often felt in the face of competition athletes sport . Before competing athletes usually experience some symptoms of anxiety , such as difficulty concentrating , muscle tense and afraid of upsetting the people closest . It can be reduced by performing an interventional technique , namely the process of concentration of breath and relaxation techniques breathing named.     This study is an experimental that aims to determine the effectiveness of breathing relaxation techniques to reduce anxiety futsal athletes who want to compete. Subjects were athletes BATMAN F.C. and  Mustika F.C. to be played in the whole tournament BINPORA totaling 22 subjects. Subjects were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group using techniques unrandomized. This study used a pretest - posttest experimental design of the control group . The data were taken using a scale which is SAS - 2 anxiety scale and a raw athlete who has perfected . SAS - 2 consists of 15 items and its validity was measured by using the professional judgment of the sports psychologists as well as lecturers and Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of 0.822.   Methods of data analysis is a technique used Wilcoxon Mann - Whitney U - Test. Based on the analysis technique , the value of p = 0.005 on the pretest and posttest experimental group with a significance level or p 0.05 . It shows that there is a difference between pretest and posttest in the experimental group , which means that the effective breathing relaxation techniques to reduce anxiety futsal athletes who want to compete . The results provide input for futsal athletes BATMAN FC and FC Mustika to reduce anxiety before taking the match with breathing relaxation techniques in order to play with and can issue a maximum potential. Keywords : breathing relaxation techniques , anxiety athlete , athletes futsal

Abstrak. Meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap laptop membuat persaingan antar produsen laptop semakin ketat. Selain digunakan dalam lingkungan perkantoran, laptop merupakan barang yang wajib dimiliki oleh mahasiswa sebagai penunjang perkuliahan. Laptop merupakan komputer dengan mobilitas tinggi dan dinilai lebih praktis dibandingkan dengan desktop computer. Desain dan fitur laptop yang berubah-ubah sesuai perkembangan jaman, membuat para pengguna laptop tertarik untuk mengganti laptop lama mereka dengan laptop keluaran terbaru. Hal tersebut membuat persaingan yang cukup ketat diantara produsen-produsen laptop di Indonesia. Repurchase intention dari pelanggan merupakan tujuan terpenting bagi keberhasilan perusahaan agar bertahan ditengah ketatnya persaingan dengan produsen produk sejenis. Pengelolaan produk perlu dilakukan untuk menciptakan kepuasan konsumen serta membangun dan mempertahankan pelanggan yang dapat membawa keuntungan bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh antara customer satisfaction terhadap repurchase intention laptop merek Asus oleh mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang, (2) untuk mengetahui gambaran customer satisfaction mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang pada laptop merek Asus, dan (3) untuk mengetahui gambaran repurchase intention mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang pada laptop merek Asus. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 196 mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang pengguna laptop merek Asus. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala customer satisfaction (39 aitem valid) dan skala repurchase intention (25 aitem valid). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian yaitu “ada pengaruh customer satisfaction terhadap repurchase intention pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang” diterima. Selain itu, hasil yang ditunjukkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu gambaran repurchase intention berada pada kategori sedang dan customer satisfaction berada pada tinggi.Kata Kunci : customer satisfaction, repurchase intention, mahasiswa. Abstract. The increasing of society requirement for laptops create intense competition among laptop manufacturers. In addition to being used in office, it is also one of the needs that must be owned by students in college. Laptop is a computer with high mobility and more efficient than desktop computers. The laptop’s design and features is changing according to the technological developments, makes laptop users interested in replacing their old laptop with the new one. It makes intense competition among laptop manufacturers in Indonesia. Repurchase intention from customers is the most important goal for the success of the company to survive amid the intense competition with similar products manufacturers. Product management needs to be done to make customer satisfaction as well as build and retain customers that can bring benefits to the company. The aims of this study were: (1) to find out whether or not the influence of customer satisfaction on repurchase of Asus brand laptop by Semarang State University Students, (2) to find out the description of customer satisfaction of Semarang State University students on Asus brand laptop, (3) to find out the description of repurchase intention of Semarang State University students on Asus brand laptop. This study was conducted on 196 students of Semarang State University as Asus brand laptop users. Samples were taken using an incidental sampling technique. Data collection used customer satisfaction scale (39 valid aitems) and repurchase intention scale (25 valid aitems). The results of this study indicated that the hypothesis proposed in the study, which there was influence of customer satisfaction on repurchase intention in collage student of Semarang State University, was received. The results of this study indicated that the description of repurchase intention was in the medium category and customer satisfaction was in the high category. Coefficient of correlation rxy = 0,766 with p = 0,000 (p0,05).

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan frekuensi opini kicauan di Twitter terkait pro dan kontra terhadap gerakan LGBT. Riset ini termasuk dalam penelitian data mining kuantitatif dan terbagi dalam dua tahap. Pertama, analisis text mining wordclouds dan dilanjutkan analisis sentiment dalam tweet. Pendekatan sub metode bags of word dilakukan untuk merangkai sentiment dari twitter. Negative dan positive words murni melakukan perubahan dari sentiment lexicon Bing Liu dengan melakukan adaptasi ke bahasa Indonesia. Stop words yang merupakan bagian dari analisis text mining juga disesuaikan untuk kebutuhan analisis. Hasil yang didapat mengenai gerakan LGBT cukup konsisten dengan kondisi terkini, hasil dari wordclous simetris dengan histogram analisis sentiment, dimana frekuensi kata seperti “kumpul kebo”, “moral”, “Indonesia”, “perbincangan”, “dibui”, “pindah”, “ditantang”, “garis batas” terbilang tinggi, dan sebanyak 379 tweet beropini netral, 79 menyatakan positif dengan gerakan LGBT dan 27 menyatakan sikap negative. Abstract. Aim of this study is to describe the frequency of tweets on Twitter opinion related to the pros and cons of the LGBT movement. The core method research on text mining and sentiment analysis wordclouds with R was aplicated for this research. Bags of word method is done to assemble the sentiment of twitter. Negative and positive word of pure change of sentiment lexicon Bing Liu are adapted to Indonesian. Stop words that are part of the analysis of text mining is also made to meet up the needs of analysis. The results of the LGBT movement is quite consistent with the current conditions, the results of wordclous symmetrical with the analysis of sentiment, where the frequency of words such as "cohabiting", "moral", "Indonesia", "conversation", "jail", "move", " challenged "," borderline "is high, and as many as 379 is neutral tweet opinion, 79 expressed positive with the LGBT movement and 27 expressed negative attitudes toward it.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya fenomena Perkampungan Arab di wilayah Pemalang, Jawa Tengah. Seperti wilayah Jawa pada umumnya, penduduk pribumi Pemalang adalah etnis Jawa. Akan tetapi karena banyaknya etnis Arab yang bermukim di wilayah tersebut sehingga wilayah tersebut dinamakan “Kampung Arab”. Warga etnis Arab, dalam kesehariannya menunjukkan perilaku yang gemar menolong dengan siapapun, tidak terbatas hanya dengan sesame warga etnis Arab. Maka dari itu peneliti ingin meneliti bagaimana Perilaku Prososial Etnis Arab yang tinggal berdampingan dengan mayoritas Etnis Jawa di Pemalang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Perilaku Prososial Masyarakat Arab di Pemalang yang berinteraksi dengan Masyarakat Jawa di Pemalang serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku prososial tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 4 Subjek Masyarakat Keturunan Arab yang tinggal di desa X Pemalang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara yang selanjutnya di transkrip. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara umum bahwa Masyarakat Keturunan Arab yang berelasi ditengah Masyarakat Jawa di Pemalang memiliki Perilaku Prososial yang baik. Dari cara Subjek membaur, membantu dan berinteraksi dengan masyarakat sekitarnya juga tidak ada masalah.Kata Kunci : Perilaku Prososial, Etnis Arab Abstract. This research was motivated by the existence of the Arab Village phenomenon in the Pemalang area, Central Java. Like Java in general, the Pemalang indigenous population is Javanese. However, because of the large number of ethnic Arabs who settled in the area, the area was called "Kampung Arab". Ethnic Arabs, in their daily lives, show behavior that likes to help anyone, not only with fellow ethnic Arabs. Therefore the researcher wants to examine how the Ethnic Prosocial Behavior of Arabs who live side by side with the majority of Javanese ethnicity in Pemalang. This study aims to determine the Prosocial Behavior of Arab Communities in Pemalang who interact with the Javanese Society in Pemalang and the factors that influence the prosocial behavior. This type of research is qualitative research. This research was conducted on 4 subjects of Arab descent who lived in village X Pemalang. Data collection uses interview techniques which are then transcribed. Based on the results of research in general that the Arab descent community that is related in the middle of the Javanese Society in Pemalang has good Prosocial Behavior. From the way the subject blends, helps and interacts with the surrounding community there is also no problem.Keywords: Prosocial Behavior, Arabic
