Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of physical condition of the Academy Jaguar Basketball athletes in Semarang City in 2022. The population of this study was all athletes in the Academy Jaguar Basketball Semarang City in 2022, totaling 12 athletes. The sample used in this study used total sampling. The results showed that the average score of the athlete's physical condition level was 2.65 which was included in the less category. Judging from the level of physical condition of each athlete, it is known that there are 9 students (75%), then a number of 3 athletes (25%) in the category are moderate. This study concluded that the physical condition of the basketball athletes at the Jaguar Basketball Academy was in the poor category. Abstract in Indonesia. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu mengetahui tingkat kondisi fisik atlet Academy Jaguar Basketball Kota Semarang Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini memilih populasi yaitu keseluruhan atlet Academy Jaguar Basketball Kota Semarang Tahun 2022 yang berjumlah 12 atlet Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kategori kondisi fisik atlet disimpulkan kurang dengan nilai rerata 2,65. Terdapat sebanyak 9 atlet (75%) yang masuk kondisi kurang sedangkan sisanya 3 atlet kondisinya sedang (25%). Penelitian ini memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kondisi fisik atlet para atlet bola basket di Academy Jaguar Basketball berkategori kurang.

Abstract

Anxiety during competition is a problem that is often faced by athletes. The anxiety factor in competition greatly influences athlete performance because a high level of anxiety can have a negative impact on athlete performance. The athlete's focus will be disturbed, and his performance will not match what he learned during training. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between anxiety and blood pressure in the U-19 Semarang Youth Jatidiri athlete team. The research subjects were 14 futsal athletes under the age of 19 years. The study used a quantitative descriptive research type regarding the level of anxiety (anxiety) in facing a match in the futsal athlete of the U-19 Semarang Youth Jatidiri team. The data collection technique used was a closed questionnaire and a digital sphygmomanometer. The results of this study indicated that most of the U-19 Semarang youth athletes showed an increase in blood pressure in both systolic and diastolic by 35.8% and 42.8%, respectively. Based on the hypothesis testing conducted with the product-moment correlation test, it was concluded that the two variables (competition anxiety and blood pressure) were correlated with a strong relationship between the two variables. The study conclude  that anxiety had positive affects to blood pressure at competition in futsal athletes.

Abstract

Abstract. This research emerged from the observed increase in football activity in Indonesia, and the associated health implications for players, specifically regarding maintained glucose levels. The objective of this study was to assess the potential effects of sports massage on decreasing glucose levels in football players. This study adopts a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 26 football players and made use of saturated or total sampling. The data was subjected to tests for normality and homogeneity before proceeding with a paired t-test for analysis. The study employed a one-group pretest-posttest quantitative design, examining the effect of sports massage on glucose levels in 26 football players. Statistical tests confirmed the normality and homogeneity of the data. The average glucose level recorded during the pretest was 128.15, compared to the posttest average of 118.00. The results showed a statistically significant decrease in glucose levels post-massage, with a paired t-test yielding a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001, which is less than the critical threshold of 0.05. This study demonstrates the positive impact of sports massage on glucose levels in football players, suggesting its potential benefits for enhancing performance and recovery in sports. Further investigations may be necessary to confirm these findings and explore the underlying mechanisms. This study pioneered in examining the unique intersection of sports massages and glucose reduction in football athletes. This study also contributes significantly to the broader scientific and sports community by providing empirical evidence on the quantifiable benefits of sports massage, a topic with limited research especially in relation to glucose levels. Policymakers could use these insights to advocate for the incorporation of sports massage therapy in athlete guidelines. Abundant opportunities exist for further exploration and confirmation of these results in diverse sporting contexts and wider athlete populations.Abstract in Indonesia. Penelitian ini muncul dari peningkatan aktivitas sepak bola yang diamati di Indonesia, dan implikasi kesehatan yang terkait bagi para pemain, khususnya terkait kadar glukosa yang terjaga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai efek potensial dari pijat olahraga terhadap penurunan kadar glukosa pada pemain sepak bola. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain pretest-posttest satu kelompok. Populasi terdiri dari 26 pemain sepak bola dan menggunakan sampling jenuh atau total sampling. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diuji normalitas dan homogenitasnya sebelum dilanjutkan dengan uji-t berpasangan untuk dianalisis. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif satu kelompok pretest-posttest, yang meneliti efek pijat olahraga pada kadar glukosa pada 26 pemain sepak bola. Uji statistik mengkonfirmasi normalitas dan homogenitas data. Kadar glukosa rata-rata yang tercatat selama pretest adalah 128,15, dibandingkan dengan rata-rata posttest 118,00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penurunan kadar glukosa yang signifikan secara statistik setelah pemijatan, dengan uji-t berpasangan yang menghasilkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001, yang kurang dari ambang batas kritis 0,05. Penelitian ini menunjukkan dampak positif dari pijat olahraga terhadap kadar glukosa pada pemain sepak bola, yang menunjukkan potensi manfaatnya untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan pemulihan dalam olahraga. Investigasi lebih lanjut mungkin diperlukan untuk mengkonfirmasi temuan ini dan mengeksplorasi mekanisme yang mendasarinya. Penelitian ini menjadi pelopor dalam meneliti hubungan unik antara pijat olahraga dan pengurangan glukosa pada atlet sepak bola. Penelitian ini juga berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap komunitas ilmiah dan olahraga yang lebih luas dengan memberikan bukti empiris tentang manfaat terukur dari pijat olahraga, sebuah topik dengan penelitian yang terbatas terutama dalam kaitannya dengan kadar glukosa. Para pembuat kebijakan dapat menggunakan wawasan ini untuk mengadvokasi penggabungan terapi pijat olahraga dalam pedoman atlet. Ada banyak peluang untuk eksplorasi lebih lanjut dan konfirmasi hasil ini dalam konteks olahraga yang beragam dan populasi atlet yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Abstract. This study had difficulties in shooting, therefore the researchers provided training using imagery training. The purpose of this study was to perform Imagery MRA exercises, with the aim of increasing concentration, increasing self-confidence, controlling emotional responses, improving training skills in shooting basketball free throws. This type of research uses an experimental with a quantitative approach and the one group pretest-posttest design. The population is 15 athletes, and the sample is 15 athletes using total sampling technique. instrument test with free throw test. Data analysis techniques used the normality test, homogeneity test and Wilcoxon test with SPSS IBM 21. The pretest data results were 13.67 and the posttest was 17.33. The pretest standard deviation was 1.91 and the posttest standard deviation was 2.06. The pretest variant value was 3.67 and the posttest was 4.24. The normality test for the pretest L. Count = 0.930 while the posttest L. Table = 0.220 and it is stated that the data is not normally distributed data with a degree of confidence or Sig. of 0.05. L. Count = 0.930 L. Penelitian ini kesulitan dalam melakukan shooting, maka dari itu peneliti memberikan latihan menggunakan imagery training. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan latihan Imagery MRA, dengan tujuan Meningkatkan konsentrasi, Meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, Mengendalikan respond emosional, Memperbaiki latihan keterampilan dalam melakukan tembakan free throw Basket. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimental dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desaign the one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi sebanyak 15 atlet dan sampel berjumlah 15 atlet menggunakan teknik  total sampling. instrument tes dengan freethrow test. teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji wilcoxon dengan SPSS IBM 21. hasil data pretest adalah 13,67 dan posttest adalah 17,33. Simpangan baku pretest adalah 1,91 dan simpangan baku posttest adalah 2,06. Nilai varian pretest adalah 3,67 dan posttest adalah 4,24. Uji normalias pretest L.Hitung = 0,930 sedangkan posttest L.Tabel = 0,220 dan dinyatakan data tersebut merupakan data yang terdistribusi tidak normal dengan derajat kepercayaan atau Sig. sebesar 0,05. Abstract

Abstract. Marathon is long distance running of 42.195 KM on road. Hill Running and Circuit Training are important training methods to develop Aerobic fitness among Marathon Runners. The Purpose of the study was to find Aerobic Fitness among Marathon Runners of Telangana State in India. Methods: Male Marathon Runners of Telangana State in India who participated in different Marathon events aged 25 to 30 Years were divided into three groups of fifteen each, experimental group of Hill running (n = 15) , Circuit Training   group (n = 15) and a control group  (n= 15). Both experimental groups trained on alternate days for twelve weeks 1 hour per session and control group underwent general training of Marathon on alternate days. Pre Test and Post Test were conducted among three groups for 12 Min Run Cooper Test to find the maximum distance covered in 12 Min. Results: The results of the study represented by mean and SD showed in pre and post-test a reading of 2391.83±102.57 2678.50±109.11 in hill training group with an F ratio of 129.92 at 0.000 level of confidence, whereas circuit training group with mean and SD of 2365.00±90.45 in pre 2518.30±79.78 in the post with F ratio of 129.92 significant at 0.000 level of confidence indicating that hill training group had noteworthy improvements in performance than circuit training and control groups. Circuit Training group also showed improvements. It is concluded that Hill Running is the good training method to develop the aerobic fitness. Abstract in Indonesia. Marathon adalah lari jarak jauh sejauh 42,195 KM on road. Hill Running dan Circuit Training adalah metode pelatihan penting untuk mengembangkan kebugaran aerobik di kalangan pelari maraton. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan Kebugaran Aerobik di antara Pelari Maraton Negara Bagian Telangana di India. Pelari Maraton Pria dari Negara Bagian Telangana di India yang berpartisipasi dalam berbagai acara Maraton berusia 25 hingga 30 Tahun dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok masing-masing lima belas, kelompok eksperimen lari Bukit (n = 15), kelompok Pelatihan Sirkuit (n = 15) dan kelompok kontrol (n = 15). Kedua kelompok eksperimen dilatih pada hari-hari alternatif selama dua belas minggu 1 jam per sesi dan kelompok kontrol menjalani pelatihan umum Marathon pada hari-hari alternatif. Pre Test dan Post Test dilakukan pada tiga kelompok selama 12 menit Run Cooper Test untuk mengetahui jarak maksimum yang ditempuh dalam 12 menit. Hasil: Hasil penelitian yang diwakili oleh mean dan SD menunjukkan pada pre dan post-test pembacaan 2391,83±102,57 ; 2678,50±109,11 pada kelompok hill training dengan rasio F 129,92 pada tingkat kepercayaan 0,000,   sedangkan kelompok pelatihan sirkuit dengan rata-rata dan SD 2365,00±90,45 di pra ; 2518,30±79,78 di pos dengan rasio F 129,92 signifikan pada tingkat kepercayaan 0,000 menunjukkan bahwa kelompok pelatihan bukit memiliki peningkatan kinerja yang patut dicatat daripada pelatihan sirkuit dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok Pelatihan Sirkuit juga menunjukkan peningkatan. Disimpulkan bahwa Hill Running adalah metode pelatihan yang baik untuk mengembangkan kebugaran aerobik.

Abstract. This study focuses on the effect of using Roller Foam Massage on decline rate sour lactate after training at the Taekwondo Athlete Club YD Gor Fat Bekasi District . Taekwondo is art self-defense popular with challenges physically tall , however _ enhancement rate sour lactate can affect athlete performance and recovery . The purpose of this research is to evaluate is Roller Foam Massage technique can be effective in reducing rate sour lactate in athletes after exercise. Type research use an approach quantitatively with the one group pretest and posttest method . population as many as 16 players and using purposive sampling. With value based on data analysis obtained t-test and before has tested normality and homogeneity especially first . Normality test using Shapiro-Wilk the pretest results have a significance of 0.655 0.05 then the pretest data is normally distributed , and the normality test using the Shapiro-Wilk on the posttest results have a significant 0.111 0.05 , the posttest data is normally distributed . The homogeneity test has a sig value . 0.945 0.05 then it can be obtained data distribution is homogeneous. Then the Paired t test shows that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a real difference between the results of using roller foam massage on the Pretest and Posttest data.Abstract in Indonesia. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengaruh penggunaan Roller Foam Massage terhadap penurunan kadar asam laktat pasca latihan pada Atlet Club Taekwondo YD Gor Tambun Kabupaten Bekasi. Taekwondo merupakan seni beladiri populer dengan tantangan fisik yang tinggi, namun peningkatan kadar asam laktat dapat mempengaruhi performa dan pemulihan atlet. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi apakah teknik Roller Foam Massage dapat efektif dalam mengurangi kadar asam laktat pada atlet setelah latihan. Jenis penlitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode one group pretest and postest . populasi sebanyak 16 pemain dan menggunakan purposive sampling. Dengan nilai berdasarkan analisis data memperoleh Uji-t dan sebelumnya telah diuji normalitas dan homogenitas terlebih dahulu. Uji normalitas menggunakan Shapiro-wilk hasil pretest memiliki signifikan 0,655 0,05 maka data pretest berdistribusi normal, dan uji normalitas menggunakan Shapiro-wilk pada hasil posttest memiliki signifikan 0,111 0,05 maka data posttest berdistribusi normal. Uji homogenitas memiliki nilai sig. 0.945 0.05 maka dapat diperoleh distribusi data adalah homogen.Kemudian Uji Paired t test bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara hasil menggunakan roller foam massage pada data Pretest dan Posttest.

Abstract

Abstract. Based on the reality conditions, the fifth grade students at Tunglur Public Elementary School, Badas District, Kediri Regency, experienced difficulties when lifting and throwing iron balls in shot put movements. Minimal strength in lifting and throwing iron balls resulted in errors of the basic shot put movement, therefore a modification of learning media was needed. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted through several steps, namely planning (Plan), Implementation (Action), Observation (Observe), and reflection (Reflect). The stages of the research included pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2. The pre-cycle was conducted to observe the constraints in shot put learning. In the results of cycle 1 that the total scores of very good and good overall students were 47%, which indicated that the research was not successful. Then cycle 2 was conducted with the results of the total acquisition scores of very good and good overall students were 64%, which indicated that the research was successful. So it can be concluded that the application of media modification in the form of plastic balls in shot put learning can improve the basic ability of shot put in fifth grade students of Tunglur Public Elementary School, Badas District, Kediri Regency.Abstract in Indonesia. Berdasarkan kondisi realita pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Tunglur Kecamatan Badas Kabupaten Kediri, mengalami kesulitan saat mengangkat dan melempar bola besi daam gerakan tolak peluru. Kekuatan yang minim dalam mengangkat serta melempar bola besi mengakibatkan kesalahan dalam gerakan dasar tolak peluru, sehingga diperlukan modifikasi media pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan melalui beberapa langkah yaitu perencanaan (Plan), Pelaksanaan (action), Pengamatan (observe), dan refleksi (reflect). Tahapan penelitian antara lain pra siklus, siklus 1 dan siklus 2. Pra siklus dilakukan untuk mengamati kendala dalam pembelajaran tolak peluru. pada hasil siklus 1 bahwa jumlah perolehan nilai sangat baik dan baik keseluruhan siswa sebesar 47%, yang artinya penelitian belum berhasil. Maka dilakukan siklus 2 dengan hasil jumlah perolehan nilai sangat baik dan baik keseluruhan siswa sebesar 64%, yang artinya penelitian berhasil. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan modifikasi media berupa bola plastik pada pembelajaran tolak peluru dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dasar tolak peluru pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Tunglur Kecamatan Badas Kabupaten Kediri.

Abstract

Abstract. Background: Agility is one of the important physical condition components that must be mastered by volleyball athletes to be able to change direction quickly and precisely without losing balance in the game. This study aims to determine the physical condition of agility in volleyball female athletes in the Special Sports Class (KKO) of Semarang City DISPORA; Methods: This study used a quantitative descriptive method using a total sampling technique totaling 17 female volleyball athletes from KKO DISPORA Semarang City using the Illinois agility test to measure their agility; Results: The results of this study indicate that the agility level of female volleyball athletes at KKO DISPORA Semarang City, of the 17 athletes studied, the average agility was included in the good agility category, namely 8 athletes (47.1%), the moderate category, namely 7 athletes (41.2%), and very good category, namely 2 athletes (11.8%); and Conclusions: Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to increase through training programs to increase agility so that all athletes achieve maximum agility to support their game.Abstract in Indonesia. Latar Belakang: Kelincahan menjadi salah satu komponen kondisi fisik yang penting yang harus dikuasai oleh atlet bola voli untuk dapat mengubah arah secara cepat dan tepat tanpa kehilangan keseimbangan dalam melakukan permainan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi fisik kelincahan pada atlet perempuan bola voli Kelas Khusus Olahraga (KKO) DISPORA Kota Semarang; Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling berjumlah 17 atlet perempuan bola voli KKO DISPORA Kota Semarang dengan menggunakan Illinois agility test untuk pengukuran kelincahannya; Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kelincahan atlet perempuan  bola voli KKO DISPORA Kota Semarang, dari 17 atlet yang diteliti rata-rata memiliki kelincahan masuk ke dalam kategori kelincahan baik yaitu 8 atlet (47.1%), kategori cukup yaitu 7 atlet (41.2%), dan kategori baik sekali yaitu 2 atlet (11.8%); dan Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut perlu adanya peningkatan melalui program latihan untuk meningkatkan kelincahan agar semua atlet mencapai kelincahan yang maksimal untuk mendukung dalam permainannya.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the management of recreational sports in Kemangi Beach Tourism in Kendal Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research location is Indah Kemangi Beach, Jungsemi Village, Cepiring District, Kendal Regency. The research was conducted in June 2023. Instruments and data collection methods include interviews, observation, and documentation. Interview guides are used to guide interactions with tourist attraction managers, while tape recorders are used to record interviews. Direct observations were made at Pantai Indah Kemangi to gain a deeper understanding of recreational sports management. In addition, data was also obtained through documentation from the tourism object manager. The results of this study describe a comprehensive picture of recreational sports management at Pantai Indah Kemangi. Management related to facilities, human resources, environmental awareness, as well as challenges and opportunities identified from the perspective of managers and management of tourism objects. These findings provide an in-depth understanding of tourism management efforts that focus on recreational sports. This research provides a valuable contribution to efforts to improve and develop recreational sports management in similar destinations. Directed at improving services, training human resources, and integrating sustainable principles, the results of this study are expected to be a guide for the desire and improvement of the quality of the tourist experience at Pantai Indah Kemangi.Abstract in Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen olahraga rekreasi di Wisata Pantai Kemangi di Kabupaten Kendal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian adalah Pantai Indah Kemangi Desa Jungsemi Kecamatan Cepiring Kabupaten Kendal. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2023. Instrumen dan metode pengumpulan data melibatkan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pedoman wawancara digunakan untuk memandu interaksi dengan pengelola objek wisata, sementara alat perekam digunakan untuk merekam wawancara. Observasi langsung dilakukan di Pantai Indah Kemangi untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang manajemen olahraga rekreasi. Selain itu, data juga diperoleh melalui dokumentasi dari pengelola objek wisata. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan gambaran yang komprehensif tentang manajemen olahraga rekreasi di Pantai Indah Kemangi. Pengelolaan terkait fasilitas, sumber daya manusia, kesadaran lingkungan, serta tantangan dan peluang diidentifikasi dari perspektif para pengelola dan pengelolaan obyek wisata. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang upaya pengelolaan wisata yang berfokus pada olahraga rekreasi. Penelitian ini memberikan sumbangan berharga bagi upaya perbaikan dan pengembangan manajemen olahraga rekreasi di destinasi serupa. Diarahkan pada peningkatan layanan, pelatihan sumber daya manusia, dan integrasi prinsip-prinsip berkelanjutan, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pedoman bagi keberlanjutan dan peningkatan kualitas pengalaman wisatawan di Pantai Indah Kemangi.

Abstract

The objective was to explore the relationship between the duration of training sessions and the resulting strength in arm, leg, and back muscles among wrestlers in Kendal Regency. Recognizing a gap in existing literature regarding sport-specific training duration, this study aimed to establish whether a correlation exists between training duration and musculoskeletal strength improvements. Utilizing a combination of interviews for exercise duration data and push pull and back leg dynamometers for measuring muscle strength, the study comprised a sample of wrestlers with a mean age of 17 years. Statistical analysis, including the Shapiro-Wilk test for normality, revealed that the data were normally distributed, allowing for considerations of correlation. Results demonstrated a significant relationship between training length and muscle strength gains, signifying the beneficial effects of individualized training durations on specific muscle strength development in wrestlers. These findings highlight the necessity of personalizing training plans to harness the full potential of strength conditioning in athletes and informing more effective training practices moving forward
