Abstract

Train is favorite transportation in Indonesia. The increase in the number of passengers from year to year is proof that rail transportation supports community mobility. Therefore, services are needed to accommodate the needs of the community in ordering train tickets. Currently, the train ticket booking system can be done offline or online. Especially for the online train ticket booking system, there are still some obstacles i.e., during the Covid-19 pandemic, a train ticket booking information system is also needed which must be adjusted to health protocols to minimize the spread of Covid-19 during travel by train, starting from the ticket booking process. The system development methodology used is Scrum, this methodology is a framework that applies the stages of planning, analysis, design and implementation to build or develop software where work is divided into time frames called sprints. The long-distance train ticket booking application has been able to minimize the accumulation of passengers in exchanging tickets at the train station platform.

Abstract

Employee cooperative has been widely existed in every institution in Indonesia, both at governement and non-government. This research aims at facilitating the office employees of the Pusri Employee Cooperative to manage the assets owned. To support this convenience, the author proposes an asset inventory system using VB.Net 2008 and MySQL database. The proposed system can be used to manage asset data in the form of asset data input, asset search, asset grouping, deletion, sales and asset reports owned. With the creation of an asset inventory system, the performance of office employees will be faster and more efficient and ensure the security of asset data. In this study the author uses the Waterfall research method including several stages i.e., requirements analysis, system design, program code generation, testing and maintenance. The method of data collection is done through interviews and direct observation to the object of research. The results of the research are expected to be useful for all office employees of the Pusri Palembang Employee Cooperative in managing data on assets owned by the office.

Abstract

Solar energy is a renewable energy that has not been widely implemented in a mass manner. To optimize the use of a solar panel, usually a control system that can adjust the position of the solar panel automatically is employed to get the optimal power value. This prototype tracking system of solar panels is dynamically following the direction of sunlight. The supporting devices used in this prototype are LDR sensor, Servo, Arduino Uno, Ina219, Bread Boot Power Supply and solar cell which must be activated first to work. The servo will drive a 3D printing device that is connected to an LDR sensor that is sensitive to sunlight. The Ina219 component serves to absorb the intensity of the sun and convert it in terms of voltage (volts) and electric current (amperes). The energy absorbed by the solar panels in the form of voltage and electric current will be stored in the battery so that it can turn on the lights. The solar panel prototype will be placed in an open area to get optimal solar energy compared to static solar panels.

Abstract

Nutrition is important for the balance of the human body. Knowing the nutritional status is very important to realize the good and the quality human resources. Posyandu Parkit is one of the many Integrated Healthcare Center (posyandu) in Indonesia that provides health services for the community, one of which is monitoring and nutritional development of toddlers. However, the Posyandu Parkit in determining the nutritional status of toddlers is done manually; this method uses measurement parameters based on body weight (BB/U) which are less specific in showing the nutritional status of the toddler by matching manually with a reference standard table available in a healthy card (KMS). The purpose of this research is to produce a website that can determine the nutritional status of toddlers quickly and accurately. The system is designed using the K-Nearest Neighbor method which is a classification method. The K-Nearest Neighbor process is carried out by calculating the distance between the test data and the training data using the Euclidean distance formula, before sorting from the closest distance to the k-th order, then nutritional status is determined. The results of this study are a website that can determine the nutritional status of toddlers by applying the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm with BB/U, TB/U, and BB/TB accuracies were 93.75%, 87.5%, and 93.75 %, respectively.

Abstract

The use of information technology in filing letters has been widely applied, especially in government institutions. In the Administrative Affairs of the Police Information Technology Bureau, the archiving of incoming and outgoing letters is still done manually, by utilizing records in a large agenda book and stored in a large folder. The absence of a system capable of assisting mail processing causes work to be inefficient, especially in terms of searching for letters. The purpose of this research is to produce a website that can help search letters by applying the Levenshtein Distance Algorithm. The design begins with needs analysis, design, implementation, verification (system testing), operation and maintenance. A website that can search letters by applying the Levenshtein Distance Algorithm was generated. This website is very helpful in the process of searching for letters to the Administrative Affairs of the Police Information Technology Bureau.

Abstract

The case study in this research is the export goods data report at Willbess Global Inc. The purpose of this research is to design an information system for managing data on export goods based on a website at Willbess Global Inc.. This can help the process of inputting export goods data. Willbess Global Inc. always strives to improve its business process services, especially in the field of exporting goods with more systematic data processing. The research method used is the Rational Unified Process (RUP) which is a software engineering method developed by collecting various best practices in the software development industry. RUP uses an object oriented concept, with activities that focus on model development using the Unified Model Language (UML). This research has produced information system functions contained in each process of functional requirements such as managing, deleting, and changing information data on export goods data, data on types of transportation equipment used and data for export goods travel documents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to conduct an analysis to determine whether there was an effect or not of the interface convenience (user interface) of the marketplace mobile application on consumers’ online buying interest. The design method applied was the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which referred to the individual acceptance behavior of information technology systems. The analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling method with the Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) model. The results achieved from this study prove that the interface convenience of the marketplace mobile application had a significant and positive effect on online buying interest in both male and female consumers. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the convenience felt by consumers both male and female consumers when viewing the user interface of marketplace mobile applications will have an impact on online buying interest.

Abstract

Abstract Saving electrical energy consumption in industries is crucial; hence, the prediction of industrial energy consumption needs to be performed. The random forest method can be applied to steel industry data to predict energy consumption. The purpose of this prediction is to increase energy savings in industries and optimize the performance of the random forest method. The results of the random forest show that the algorithm can predict energy consumption in industries effectively; however, it needs further optimization to achieve better predictions. Therefore, the genetic algorithm method will be used to optimize the previous method. The optimization results indicate that it is successfully conducted in terms of accuracy and kappa level. This optimization is beneficial to society, especially industrial companies.

Abstract

Bina Pribadi Islam is a subject taught in Islamic elementary schools with the aim of improving students' spiritual well-being through guidance from teachers or mentors. Islamic elementary schools have an educational system designed by the Ministry of National Education and adapted to Islamic law. In the process of learning Bina Pribadi Islam, there is a need for a strategy to increase students' motivation and interest by using a multimedia application that includes elements such as text, audio, graphics, video, and animation tailored to the standard process tutorial model. To create an interactive multimedia application, multimedia design should be prepared in accordance with the tutorial model. Therefore, to produce a good application, a storyboard design needs to be created first that is tailored to the tutorial model to facilitate the application's development. Based on the storyboard design created according to the tutorial model, three main menus are produced as the characteristic features of the tutorial model, namely introduction, tutorial material, and exercises. Each menu produces several sub-menus tailored to the material in the Bina Pribadi Islam subject.

Abstract

State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) are government agencies that currently have computer networks and are supported by internet services, which are always used in the work process of BUMN employees. Along with the development of the Internet of Things (IoT) devices, good internet service is very much needed by BUMN as it will affect the performance of BUMN employees. However, the problem that often occurs in internet services in BUMN is slow internet speed, which hinders the work process of BUMN and decreases the performance of BUMN employees. It should be noted that good internet service depends on the bandwidth used, so it is very important to have good bandwidth management applied to the BUMN computer network. So far, BUMN have done several things related to bandwidth management, ranging from access restrictions, even distribution of bandwidth, and the implementation of an authentication system to connect to the BUMN internet network. However, some of these things are still not enough to guarantee no wasteful use of bandwidth, which occurs because when operating some work-supporting websites, various types of digital ads will automatically appear, consuming a significant amount of bandwidth. Therefore, in this Action Research study, a Pi Hole to control digital ads was implemented that can automatically appear and use large amounts of bandwidth. By using Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, the development of Pi Hole will limit digital ads from appearing when accessing websites or other IoT devices used by BUMN so that bandwidth usage will be more optimal in BUMN work processes. This will also improve the performance of BUMN employees, where with maximum bandwidth, the work process of BUMN can be accelerated.
