Abstract

Education funds derived from student participation is one of the main sources of funding education in private universities. Utilization of education funds for the benefit of students will be determined by sound financial management and planning. This study aims to explore, uncover and analyze the effect of the influence of the implementation of financial management policies of private colleges to financial management in an effort to increase the participation of students in education funds paid in Karsa Husada Of College of Health Science Garut. The method used in this study is a survey method descriptive analysis. The study population comprised 380 people, while the samples in this study were 80 people who were taken on the basis of stratified random sampling technique. While the technical analysis of the data used is the statistical analysis with path analysis. Hypothesis testing results show that the implementation of financial management policies have a positive influence on financial management; financial management policies have a positive influence on student participation in education funds paid; in education funds paid, and impact on improving financial management in education funds to pay student participation.

Abstract

Development of the distribution and information massification has increasingly occurred in a new social system supported by economic expansion, technology, and a global information system network. The high intensity of the use of technology in economic and socio-political activities is a sign of the birth of the era of digital society. As an actor with a significant position in government activities and development, it is appropriate for Civil Servants (PNS) to support the dynamics of developing a digital information society. As a generator of national and regional development, personnel assessment in the bureaucracy must adjust to the needs and demands of communicative-informative actions. The Study of the Relevance of Indicators of Performance Appraisal in The Advancement Provisions of Civil Servants in The Digital Society Era is intended to determine the role of civil servants in the development of digital society with the final result in the form of policy recommendations to optimize the role of civil servants in implementing digital society in the advancement aspect. The research method used is juridical-normative through literature studies and legislation relating to the State Civil Apparatus, employee affairs, and the digital society. Based on the research results, digital literacy is the key to optimizing the quality of bureaucratic resources in the era of the digital information society. Therefore, digital literacy needs to be used as an aspect in assessing the work performance of civil servants to accelerate the development of a digital society.

Abstract

Indonesia's border area is located along the Indonesian border with other countries. In general, border areas are still lagging behind other regions in Indonesia. Besides the minimal basic needs, other needs have not been appropriately met, namely the need for information in the country and the penetration of television broadcasts from Malaysia. This study aims to describe how the implementation of information security in border areas, especially in Riau province, through the operational concept of David L. Weimer and Aidan R. Vining. This research uses a qualitative approach through a case study, namely Rupat Island. The data collection method in this study was through observations in border areas and interviews with government employees of Bengkalis Regency and border communities, which were carried out from January 2021 to November 2021. The results showed that information security in border areas led to improved telecommunications infrastructure, which proliferated. Apart from that, local governments continue to build access to public information. However, border communities are still lagging in television and radio broadcasting. In addition to the ease of accessing Malaysian television channels, in general, the socio-cultural life of people in border areas is constructed from the Malaysian television channel programs they enjoy.

Abstract

This study aims to mapping and identifying research and use of research into development products carried out by the Research and Development (R&D) Agency of the Ministry of Religion during 2018-2020. In addition, this study also aims to analyze what obstacles can hinder and what solutions can be given in optimizing the utilization of the research results of the R&D Ministry of Religion in product development. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method, with typology method and analyzed using qualitative descriptive. Data collection used document studies as secondary data and in-depth interviews with several stakeholders as primary data. The scope of this research are the central work unit and regional work unit in the Ministry of Religion whose main task is to conduct R&D. The findings of this study indicate that the utilization of R&D of the Ministry of Religion in the form of product development has not been optimal yet. This is indicated by data showing that from 330 studies conducted, 25% of these studies have been developed into a product while the remaining 75% has not been utilized as a product development. Five classifications of constraints were also identified in this study, financial, operational, socialization, human resources and policy constraints. Human resource constraints and policy constraints are the most inhibiting factors in the use of research. Once these constraints are identified.

Abstract

This study examines maturity level of E-Government in 35 websites government in Province Central Java. The reason for choosing the location of Central Java Province is the province has a high ICT Development Index (IP-TIK) but not in line with the high Indonesian e-government rating either. So that measuring the maturity of websites in all 35 cities in Central Java Province is important so that these regions make improvements This study uses a government maturity model, there are 5 variabels: Simple Information, Two-way Communication, Service and Financial Transaction, Integration and Political Participation. This study method uses a quantitative approach. Then, This study uses descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The result of this study is 35 websites government in Province Central Java has a level of immature maturity model. With details that of the five variables, 2 of them have a very low level of maturity and 1 of them has a medium maturity level.

Abstract

The rapid use of information technology (IT) in all aspects of life from government to the general public has encouraged this local government to integrate city elements to support information technology-based urban life or can be called a smart city. In line with the use of this concept, in the context of a smaller government, namely the village, the concept of a technology-based smart village or commonly referred to as a smart village has been applied. Indicators or basic elements of the smart village concept by looking at the indicators used in the smart city concept which are adapted to be more suitable for implementation in village government into Smart Governance, Smart Technology, Smart Resources, Smart Village Services, Smart Living, and Smart Tourism. This research uses descriptive analysis research method and combined with SWOT analysis method. The results showed that the application of the smart village concept in Tuban Regency did not have a previously designed development model. The implementation of smart villages is only focused on the development of administrative services in the form of the use of information technology which is only one indicator of the implementation of smart villages, but for other indicator elements it is still far from the general concept of what the actual implementation of smart villages is, so that various improvements are still needed, including the application of the development model. smart village, sustainable improvement of village information systems for the sake of ongoing public accountability in providing services to the community.

Abstract

Improving the quality of public services and people feeling satisfied with these services is the ultimate goal of bureaucratic reforms carried out by the government. The purpose of this study is to provide an in-depth overview of public services at the Makassar City Manpower Office. To answer the research objectives, a qualitative type of research with a descriptive approach is used. The data collection method used was an in-depth interview with 5 informants. 3 informants are employees of the Makassar City Manpower Office, while the other 2 are service recipients. To obtain maximum results, the data obtained are analyzed by the stages of data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study that overall public services in the Makassar City Manpower Office are good, this is characterized by service requirements that are easy to be met by the community. Fairly clear systems, mechanisms and procedures. The quality of the products offered is in accordance with the main duties and functions of the Makassar City Manpower Office. The completion period is quite good but sometimes the service exceeds the predetermined SOP. The service fee is not there or free, the recipient of the service only charges the doubling money. The results of this study are useful as input for the Manpower Office to continue to make improvements in providing services to the community such as continuing to update the official homepage owned, so that the public is easy to access information without having to go to the Makassar City Manpower Office.
