Jurnal Manajemen Agribisnis (JMA) merupakan jurnal ilmiah, memiliki konsentrasi fokus pada Pengelolaan Pertanian Agribisnis dan Kawasan Pertanian yang Berkelanjutan serta mengacu pada terminologi “Sustainable Development Goals.” Sustainable Development Goals sangat dibutuhkan dalam manajemen agribisnis sebagai sarana untuk membentuk perencanaan agribisnis yang terstruktur dan terorganisasi dengan baik. Melalui konsentrasi fokus tersebut, dapat dipahami bahwa perencanaan sangat vital dalam bisnis pertanian mengingat sifatnya yang penuh ketidakpastian dan rentan risiko kerugian, sehingga memerlukan analisis dan sintesis ilmu multidisiplin untuk menjelaskan fakta empiris dimensi sosial, ekonomi, manajemen, dan kelembagaan dalam suatu perusahaan atau kawasan pertanian.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Palm plants (Arrenga pinnata Merr) until now are not widely cultivated, but they are still forest plants. This plant can be used very much, both as a household appliance and as a home industry. The main results that are widely used in home industries are sap which is processed into palm sugar, which is then used as a sweetener in various kinds of cakes, drinks and others. This research was conducted to determine the factors that influence the production of palm sugar and to find out the risks in the small industry of palm sugar. From this study, it is expected to be used as a material consideration in advancing the palm sugar industry in rural areas, especially in the research area. This research was conducted in the Belimbing Village of Tabanan Regency, Bali. The results of this study indicate that only the factor of craftsman experience and the volume of roomie can affect palm sugar production, from five other factors that are suspected. Making palm sugar from sap material has a large risk of production of 115,587 kg, but it is still easily avoidable by craftsmen. With a risk threshold of producing 35.74 kg of printed palm sugar.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know the description of farming system and to analyze the technical and allocative efficiency of Eban local garlic farming by using survey method while the data used are primary and secondary data. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and stockhastic frontier analysis. The results of the general overview of Eban's local garlic farms include; land preparation, seed preparation, planting, maintenance and harvesting. While technically Eban local garlic farming is efficient where the analysis conducted for 50 respondents shows the efficient average achieved by 92% while the allocation of local garlic farming has not been efficient because of the calculation of NPMx / px > 1.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Marketing requires more than just developing a good product, set an attractive price, offering an affordable prices, but also need to promote the product itself. The success of a marketing program also determined by promotion mix. This research aimed to analyzed the influence of promotion mix cost simultaneously, partially and the most dominantly variable toward the sales turnover of agribusiness company in Denpasar. The research method was used descriptive statistics. Through descriptive statistical analysis will be described and described characteristic table of respondents, while the influence of promotion mix cost to sales turnover using multiple linear regression analysed using the help of SPSS program version 22.0. Based on multiple linear analysis, the results of research showed promotion mix variables give simultaneous positive and significant effect toward the sales turnover p ? 0.05 with determination coefficient 0.575 or 57.5 %. Partially, all of five variables promotional mix showed that the cost of advertising, cost of personal selling, cost of sales promotion and cost of direct marketing give significant affect, while the variable cost of public relations showed insignificant results. The most dominant variable affecting the sales turnover is the cost of sales promotion with standardized beta coefficient point to 0.463. Suggestions that can be given by the author to agribusiness entrepreneurs in Denpasar in order to implement promotional mix cost policies that are appropriate in the future to be in accordance with the capabilities and budget owned by the company. The combination of the five components of the promotional mix costs is still carried out, but must pay attention and consider allocating funds efficiently into the promotional mix costs so that the company does not experience losses.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Food crop commodities in Bali are quite potential, so making these commodities quite crucial in various discussions. When viewed from the results of the 2013 Agriculture Census in Bali there were 408,233 agricultural business households and 53 percent of them were food crop business households. Bali's GRDP according to business fields, food crops subsector contributed 14.57 percent of the 2016 GDP contribution to the agricultural sector. The development of tourism and population growth are thought to be the cause of the conversion of agricultural land to non-agriculture. Therefore, a scientific study is needed to map the potential of the food crop subsector in Bali. The objectives of this study are: (1) to identify what are the main competitive seed crops, (2) to analyze the growth of food crops according to districts / cities, (3) to analyze the potential of the main commodity areas of Bali's food crops. This research was conducted in Bali Province. The selection of research locations using the purposive sampling method is based on the consideration that food crops are the most sought-after commodities by Balinese farmers. The data used in this study is the data on commodity production of the Bali Province food crops sub-sector according to districts / cities in the 5-year time series (2011-2015). The analytical tool used is Location Quotient (LQ), Shift Share, Superimpose and analysis of potential spatial areas. The results of the study show that all regencies / municipalities have comparative superior food crops except the city of Denpasar. Increased regional growth of food crops occurred in three districts / cities, namely Jembrana, Gianyar and Denpasar City. All districts / cities have food crops that experience proportional rapid growth, high competitiveness commodities and commodities that are progressing in net growth. All regencies have superior crops of food commodities, both those which are superior (comparative or competitive superior) and highly superior (comparative and competitive) commodities. Meanwhile, Denpasar City only has superior food crops (competitively superior).

Abstract

ABSTRACT Banjarangkan District, Klungkung received the GP-PTT program with assemblies of Jajar Legowo 2: 1 planting technology where agricultural extension agents were the spearhead of program implementation. This study aims to: (1) determine the performance of agricultural extension workers according to farmers, (2) analyze the influence of extension workers' performance and farmer characteristics on farmer's behavior, (3) analyze the influence of farmer behavior on productivity. This research was conducted in Banjarangkan District, Klungkung Regency. Data collection was carried out from May to August 2018. The population in this study were farmers who participated in the GP-PTT program that used 2: 1 jajar legowo planting methods. The number of samples used was 96 farmers who were determined using the Slovin formula with a confidence level of 10%. Samples were taken using purposive sampling propotional technique. Data analyzed using descriptive analysis methods and statistics using version 3.0 SmartPLS. The results of the study show: (1) the performance of extension agents in Banjarangkan District is in a good category; (2) the instructor's performance and farmer's characteristics have a significant effect on farmer's behavior; (3) farmer's behavior has a significant effect on productivity. Suggestions that can be given in this study are: (1) the performance of the instructor in guiding the group's definitive plan needs to be improved; (2) non-formal education in the form of training and field schools whose intensity needs to be improved; (3) government support for financing non-formal education needs to be improved; (4) development of other research needs to be done with different constructs and indicators to support the government in taking policy.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In an effort to agro-tourism development at Subak Uma Lambing, it is necessary to analyze the potential, form of development, and suitability between the ideal situation and the actual situation of subak. Based on that, it is necessary to do analysis based on the concept of Tri Hita Karana. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential, the form of agro-tourism development, and the suitability between the ideal situation and the actual situation at Subak Uma Lambing related to the agro-tourism development based on Tri Hita Karana concept. This research used pekaseh and tourism actors as a main informant, and the member of subak as respondent. Methods and techniques of data collection used are observation, in-depth interviews, questionaires, documentation, and triangulation. Data analysis methods and techniques used are qualitative descriptive analysis, and matrices analysis of relationships between technology sub-systems and cultural sub- systems. The results showed that Subak Uma Lambing has the potential of tourist attraction, transportation type, electricity flow and lighting. Roads, parking lots, health facilities, food and beverage kiosks, souvenir shops, lodging, and accessibility based on distance and ease with other tourist locations. Agro-tourism is developed using an mindset aspect, social aspect, and artifacts aspect with alternative forms of agro-tourism is tracking, jogging, cycling, metekap, nandur, manyi, feeding cows, feeding fish, fishing trips, fruits and vegetables picking tours, studying rindic instruments, watching ritual activities, enjoy typical Balinese food, mejejahitan, capil wraping, traditional games, entertainment Balinese Dance and stay at krama subak home. In general, the application of the concept of Tri Hita Karana approaching the ideal situation, but on the relationship of social sub-system with sub-organoware system has not reached the ideal. In this study, it is advisable to maintain the cleanliness of irrigation channels, as well as to improve and equip facilit ies and infrastructure. An agreement needs to be made on manners, local government and tourism bureaus, collaboration between subak institution and krama to realizing the artifact aspects.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Lahan pertanian memiliki peranan penting sebagai media peningkatan penghasilan, taraf hidup, dan kesejahteraan petani yang ada didalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi petani dalam mengkonversi lahan sawah, 2) menganalisis dampak sosial dan ekonomi terhadap konversi lahan di Subak Petangan Kecamatan Denpasar Utara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Subak Petangan Kecamatan Denpasar Utara yang dipilih secara sampling jenuh (sensus) dengan populasi berjumlah 40 orang yaitu pemilik penggarap. Instrument yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah kuisioner, Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis faktor dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konversi lahan dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal dibentuk oleh jumlah anggota keluarga, pendidikan, kebutuhan hidup (Konsep Teori Hierarki Kebutuhan Maslow), pendapatan hasil pertanian. Faktor eksternal dibentuk oleh indikator gaya hidup, minat generasi muda untuk bertani, akses pengelolaan lahan, ketersediaan air irigasi. Dampak konversi lahan terhadap sosial yaitu terhambatnya saluran irigasi, timbulnya konflik antara petani dengan pemilik pemukiman, terkikisnya nilai budaya di Subak Petangan Kecamatan Denpasar Utara, dan dampak ekonomi yaitu berkurangnya sumber pangan, petani tidak mempunyai pekerjaan tetap, meningkatnya tingkat penganguran, adanya perubahan pola kehidupan petani. Seluruh pihak terkait baik pemerintah maupun prajuru subak harus mampu untuk mengontrol dan membuat program atau aturan dalam menekan laju konversi lahan. Pada dampak sosial dan ekonomi dalam konversi lahan di Subak Petangan sangat berdampak buruk terhadap lingkungan dan budaya pada lahan sawah Subak Petangan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Tri Hita Karana has becomes the foundation of development in the Province of Bali, its reflected in the vision of the development in the Province of Bali in 2006-2026 "Bali Dwipa Jaya, Fair, and Democratic, and Safe and Unified". Tri Hita Karana has becomes the foundation of development in Bali, the Tri Hita Karana must be applied to various community activities such as politics, economics, socials, defenses, and securities. Satria Agrowisata has application the Tri Hita Karana concept. The research aimed to analyzed the suitability between expectations and realities on the application of Tri Hita Karana at Satria Agrowisata, to analyzed the connection of application of Tri Hita Karana with management of Satria Agrowisata, and to analyzed satisfied visitors of Satria Agrowisata toward agrotourism activities with Tri Hita Karana application. Data of this research were used qualitative and quantitative. The research location is in Satria Agrowisata was chosen by purposive. The researchs were used two types of sampling methode such as census sampling and accidental sampling. Collection of data in the research were used several methods such as observations, interviews, and documentations. To analyzed the data, the research were used descriptive qualitative analysis method and Rank Spearman correlation. The results of the researchs were show the suitability between expectations and realities on the application of Tri Hita Karana at Satria Agrowisata is very suitable. The connection between Tri Hita Karana and management in agrotourism is very weak. Visitors of Satria Agrowisata were very satisfied with agrotourism activities in Satria Agrowisata which Tri Hita Karana application. The suggestions are to continue the application of Tri Hita Karana in activities agrotourism, to improve the connection between the application of Tri Hita Karana and management at the Agrotourism, and Satria Agrowisata needs to improve the quality of their service and add varieties of drinks and foods.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Consumer awareness on food safety and organic product consumption has open up an opportunity for producers of organic products. The Somya Pertiwi Farmer Group is one of the organic rice cultivator that has been certified by LeSos. The purpose of this study is to analyze the flow of actors, products, financial, and information, as well as the distribution of value added in the value chain of organic rice agribusiness produce by Somya Pertiwi. This research was conducted along the value chain using forward and backward approach from the focus point of the research which is the Somya Pertiwi Farmer Group. The research shows that the actors’ flow devided by main and supporting actors. The product flows from upstream to downstream shows the transformation of 43,900 kg of dried organic red rice grain become 20,852 kg of organic red rice and 76,700 kg of dry organic white rice grain become 36,432 kg of organic white rice. The flow of information moves both from upstream, downstream, as well as from supporting institutions such as the Somya Pertiwi Farmer Group, LeSos, and also the Internal Control System. The most balanced value-added distribution is in the organic red rice value chain through UD Sari Bulan Utama with 41%-46% added value at the farmer level, 20%-23% at the processing unit, 19%-22% at the wholesaler level, and 9%-19% at the reseller level. Increase in the percentage of sales at the farmer level to increase farmers’ income. Processing unit can increase organic white rice value added by increasing the retail price. Government need to establish supervision at the wholesaler and retailer level.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The maximum production can be achieved if using optimum inputs. Production efficiency is influenced by the use of production inputs. The purpose of this research was to examin;: (1) the effect of production factors of jahe gajah; (2) inefficiency and efficiency factor of jahe gajah; (3) farmer's income in jahe gajah farming; and (4) constraints faced in Jahe Gajah production. The research method uses quantitative descriptive methods. The number of samples in this is researc were 66 people determined by the Simple Random Sampling technique. Production efficiency was analyzed using the Stochastic Frontier production function with the Frontier 4.1c program and farmer’s income was analyzed using R/C ratio. The results of the research indicate that; (1) land area variables affect production; (2) education, experience, counseling dummy variables influence production, while jahe gajah farm is stated to be technically efficient with an average value of 0.910, but not yet allocatively efficient with an average value of 0.668 and not economically efficient with average values of 0.599; (3) the jahe gajah farm has profit R/C ratio 1,7; (4) constraints faced by jahe gajah farmers there is no standards price, difficulty in obtaining market access, and rhizome rotten disease.
