Abstract

ABSTRACT Motivation is important because the motivation of every employee is expected to work hard to achieve organizational goals. This study analyzes the factors that influence culture and organizational commitment on employee motivation at PT. Astra International, Tbk – Honda Sales Operation Kanwil Palembang. The problems of the researcher is to knowIs there any influence of organizational culture on employee motivation and organizational commitment influence on employee motivation and to determine which variables most influence on employee motivation PT. Astra International, Tbk- Honda Sales Operation Kanwil Palembang. This study develops three hypotheses in order to answer the problems that exist. This study conducted a census of 170 people while as many as 162 questionnaires were returned. The respondent is an employee of PT. Astra International, Tbk- Honda Sales Operation Kanwil Palembang. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) using Lisrel programas ananalysis tool. Results of data analysis showed that the hypothesis can be accepted. The results proved that organizational culture has apositive and significant impacton employee motivation with at-value>1.96 is equal to11.54 with an estimated value of 0.82 and acommitment to the organization also has a positive effect on the motivation of working with t-value of 16,42 with an estimated value of 1.02. Organizational commitment is the most significan t variable with a value of 11.54t- value in comparison with the value oforganizational culturet-value 11.54 on employee motivation PT. Astra International, Tbk- Honda Sales Operation Kanwil Palembang. Based on the results of this study provide the oretical implications of a strong influence on employee motivation such as organizational culture and organizational commitment. managerial implications of this research is the PT. Astra International, Tbk- Honda Sales Operation Kanwil Palembang. need to pay attention and make employees become part of the organization because of the presence of emotional or psychological bond that employee shave the awareness and commitment to the organization is indeed to be done.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this research are to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), BOPO, Net Interest Margin (NIM) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) towards Return On Asset (ROA) of Sum-Sel Babel Bank in the period of December 2000 – December 2012. This research used data from publication of quarterly financial reports and annual reports of Sumsel Babel Bank in the period of December 2000 – December 2012. Multiple regression is used to analiyze the data. The results show that CAR, NIM, BOPO, LDR, and NPL influences the performance of Sumsel Babel Bank. These independent variables are able to explain 66.4% of the variability of ROA and the remaining 33.6% of the variability of ROA is influenced by other factors which is not included in the model. The result shows that only BOPO and LDR have significant effect on Return On Asset (ROA). BOPO has negative effect but LDR has positive effect. Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Interest Margin (NIM) and NPL have no sifnificant effect to Return On Asset (ROA) whatsoever on the performance of SumSel Babel Bank. The result finds that the findings are consistent with the hypotheses but three variables CAR, NIM and NPL are not significant.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of motivation, compensation, leadership, organizationa culture, and organizational environment focusing to job satisfaction on individual responses. This apaer uses a quantitative analysis by distributing questionnaires randomly to sixty two respondents as samples. They work for human resource department in PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja. Findings suggest that the quantitative research approach is useful in showing the influence. Validity and reliability test are used to determine the accuracy of the questionnaires previous to exploring the causal relationship among the variables. The paper call for further research concerning other variables related to job satisfaction.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to find out the impact of compensation to ward job performance the population of this study was PT.Federal Izumi manufacturing Jakarta. Meanwhile the sample was the staff of PT.Federal Izumi manufacturing with the number 110 staff. The sample was taken though Random Sampling. In analysing the data, then linear regression was used by using SPSS program. It was found that there was significant impact between direct compensation toward job performance which was shown by the significant value 0,003<0,05 and there was significant impact toward indirect compensation toward job performance was shown by the value 0,00 which is lower than 0,05. Mean while, to find out the impact of direct compensation and indirect compensation toward the job performance, multiple regression was used. Based on SPSS analysis, it was found there was significant correlation which was shown by the value F 0,00 which was lower than 0,005.

Abstract

The study objective was to determine the influence of product attributesand brand image of the Canon digital camera purchase decision, either partially or simultaneouslyThe method used in this research is as much as 77 census respondents. Analytical techniques used in this research is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative analysis.The results showed that the variable product attributes are most influentialon purchase decisions is variable product features. Product quality, product design and brand image does not significantly influence the purchase decision. Therefore, companies should be more active to maintain and create new innovations for its products.Keywords: product attributes, brand image, purchase decision
