Abstract

AbstractThis study examined the effects of effective design training, organizational support, supervisor support and self-efficacy on transfer of training effectiveness in public hospital in Banyumas. Respondents were nurses in five public hospital located in Banyumas (N = 346). Result of the multiple regression analysis showed that effective design and training retention had significant and positive effects on self-efficacy and transfer of training effectiveness. Besides that, self-efficacy itself had a significant and positive effects on transfer of training effectiveness. Other factors, organizational support and supervisor support had no significant effect on self-efficacy and transfer of training effectiveness. Implications for future research and practice are discussed.Keywords: training design, self-efficacy, transfer of trainingAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh beberapa faktor yang menjadi anteseden keefektifan transfer pelatihan. Faktor anteseden tersebut adalah desain pelatihan efektif, dukungan organisasional, dukungan supervisor, dan self-efficacy. Penelitian dilakukan di lima rumah sakit umum daerah di wilayah Banyumas dan sekitarnya. Responden penelitian ini adalah perawat yang pernah mengikuti pelatihan (N = 346). Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan multiple regression analysis menunjukan bahwa desain pelatihan efektif, retensi pelatihan, dan self-efficacy memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kefektifan transfer pelatihan. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukan bahwa self-efficacy ditentukan oleh desain pelatihan efektif dan retensi pelatihan. Di sisi lain, dukungan organisasional dan dukungan supervisor tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap self-efficacy dan kefektifan transfer pelatihan. Abstract

AbstractPerception of organizational politics has important role in the organization. It’s because many empirical findings show that perception of organizational politics have impact on performance. Many factors have contributed to the development of organizational politics. The purpose of this study are to investigate the impact of transformational and transactional leadership on perception of organizational politics and to investigate the impact of perception of organizational politics on organizational outcomes such as job satisfaction, affective commitment with ingratiation as moderating variable. The research finding that transformational leadership have negative impact on perception of organizational politics, transactional leadership have no impact on perception of organizational politics, perception of organizational politics have negative impact on job satisfaction, perception of organizational politics have no impact on affective commitment, ingratiation moderate the relationship beween perception of organizational politics and job satisfaction, ingratiation moderate the relationship between perception of organizational politics and affective commitment.Keywords:perception of organizational politics, transformational, transactional, ingratiation.AbstrakPersepsi politik organisasional memiliki pengaruh penting dalam organisasi. Penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan persepsi politik organisasional berpengaruh negatif pada kinerja. Persepsi politik organisasional bukan suatu hal yang terbentuk dengan sendirinya. Salah satu diantaranya adalah faktor situasional yaitu kepemimpinan atasan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional pada persepsi politik organisasional dan menguji pengaruh persepsi politik organisasional pada outcomes organisasional seperti kepuasan kerja dan komitmen afektif dengan menggunakan ingrasiasi sebagai variabel pemoderasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh negatif pada persepsi politik organisasional, kepemimpinan transaksional tidak berpengaruh pada persepsi politik organisasional, persepsi politik organisasional berpengaruh negatif pada kepuasan kerja, persepsi politik organisasional tidak berpengaruh pada komitmen afektif, Ingrasiasi memoderasi pengaruh persepsi politik organisasional pada kepuasan kerja dan Ingrasiasi memoderasi pengaruh persepsi politik organisasional pada komitmen afektif.Kata Kunci:Persepsi politik organisasional, kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional, ingrasiasi.

Abstract

AbstractTraditional markets give life to about 50 million people, through the market in number 13,650, but the other face of various problems, such as the environment is dirty and shabby, cramped premises space. This situation raises challenges for market managers to be able to create a market that has an appeal for buyers and compete with the modern market. As for the respondents in this study include 222 Buyers. The survey was conducted by using questionnaires and interviews. Results of analysis using a matrix QFD House of Quality, consumers will need attributes of traditional markets as many as 28 attributes, while the technical design to respond to those needs as many as 21 attributes. The results recommend that 21 technical design can be used to design the revitalization of traditional market-based consumer needs and at the same time be able to answer the demand of consumers in traditional markets. Keywords : customer requirement, technical design, QFD, house of qualityAbstrakPasar tradisional memberikan kehidupan pada sekitar 50 juta orang, melalui pasar yang jumlahnya 13.650, namun disisi lain menghadapi berbagai masalah, seperti lingkungan yang kotor dan kumuh, ruang tempat usaha sempit. Kondisi ini memunculkan tantangan bagi pengelola pasar untuk dapat menciptakan pasar yang memiliki daya tarik bagi pembeli dan mampu bersaing dengan pasar modern. Adapun yang dijadikan responden dalam penelitian ini antara lain: Pembeli berjumlah 222 pembeli. Survei dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil analisis QFD dengan menggunakan matrik House of Quality, atribut kebutuhan konsumen akan pasar tradisional sebanyak 28 atribut, sementara desain teknis untuk merespon atribut kebutuhan tersebut sebanyak 21. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan bahwa 21 desain teknis dapat digunakan untuk merancang revitalisasi pasar tradisional berbasis kebutuhan konsumen dan sekaligus mampu menjawab kebutuhan kosumen akan pasar tradisional. Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to examine the impact of a set of independent intangible organizational resources (managerial capabilities, human capital, perceived organizational reputation, internal auditing, organizational culture, relational capabilities and labor relation) and their interactions on the organizational performance in a sample of private higher education in Yogyakarta. The regressions results indicated organizational performance in the dimension of organizational effectiveness can be well-explained by set of intangible organizational resources, excluding labor relation. The results also indicated the interactions among human capital with organizational culture and labor relations, perceived organizational reputation and internal audit, and between organizational culture and relational capabilities had compensatory effect or interference interaction in explaining performance of higher education institution.Keywords:Intangible Resources, Organizational Performance, Complementarities, Higher Education InstitutionAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh sekumpulan sumber daya takberujud (kapabilitas manajerial, modal manusia, reputasi organisasional persepsian, pengauditan internal, budaya organisasional, kapabilitas relasional dan hubungan ketenagakerjaan) serta interaksi antar sesamanya terhadap kinerja organisasional institusi pendidikan tinggi swasta di Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kumpulan sumberdaya takberujud merupakan prediktor utama bagi kinerja organisasional, kecuali hubungan ketenagakerjaan. Lebih lanjut, hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara modal manusia dengan budaya organisasional dan hubungan ketenagakerjaan, reputasi organisasional persepsian, dan interaksi antara budaya organisasional dengan kapabilitas relasional memiliki hubungan yang saling menggantikan (compensatory effect) atau interference interaction di dalam menjelaskan variansi kinerja organisasional institusi pendidikan tinggi. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to examine the influence of corporate governance mechanisms including an independent board and institutional ownership, and firm characteristics include leverage, price-to-book-value, as well as the size of the disclosure of corporate social responsibility. This study uses 52 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the years 2007-2008 as sample. The results show that simultaneous variables such as independent board, institutional holdings, leverage, price-to-book-value, and size have a significant effect on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility. With determination coefficient (R2) shows that inpendent variables can explain the dependent variable of 18.4%, while the rest of 81.6% influenced by other factors. Based on partially test results show that the independent board and leverage have no significant negative effect and institutional ownership and size are not significant positive effect, while the price-to-book-value has significant positive effect on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility.Keyword: corporate governance, firm characteristics, corporate social responsibility.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh mekanisme corporate governance yang meliputi dewan komisaris independen dan kepemilikan institusional, serta karakteristik perusahaan yang meliputi leverage, price-to-book-value, serta size terhadap pengungkapan Tanggungjawab sosial (social responsibility). Sampel penelitian berjumlah 52 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama tahun 2007-2008. Hasil pengujian empiris menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel dewan komisaris independen, kepemilikan institusional, leverage, price-to-book-value, serta size berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengungkapan Tanggungjawab sosial. Koefisien determinasi (R2) menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen dapat menjelaskan variabel dependen sebesar 18,4%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 81,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Berdasarkan pengujian secara parsial menunjukkan hasil bahwa dewan komisaris independen dan leverage berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan serta kepemilikan institusional dan size berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan, sedangkan price-to-book-value berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pengungkapan Tanggungjawab sosial.Kata kunci: corporate governance, karakteristik perusahaan, corporate social responsibility

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of study was the influence of trust and organizational culture to intellectual capital and its impact to organizational performance. Data was collected from 109 (21,80%) questionnaires were sent to financial managers in bank and financial institution companies at Bali, and analysis conducted by SEM. The results shows that trust and organizational cultures have an effect negatively and positively to intellectual capital elements. Human capital has an effect positively to customer capital and of structural capital. Customer capital has an effect positively to structural capital. Structural capital has an effect positively to organizational performance.Keywords: intellectual capital, trust, organizational culture, organizational performanceAbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh trust dan budaya organisasi terhadap intellectual capital dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja organisasi. Data dikumpulkan dari 109 (21,80%) kuesioner yang dikirimkan kepada manajer keuangan bank dan lembaga keuangan di Bali, dan analisis menggunakan SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa trust dan budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh negatif dan positif terhadap elemen intellectual capital. Human capital berpengaruh positif terhadap customer capital dan structural capital. Customer capital berpengaruh positif terhadap structural capital. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to test the pecking order theory and trade-off theory of capital structure in the analysis of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Pecking order theory is represented by the variable profitability and growth, while the variables volatility of earnings, tangibility of assets and the size represents a trade-off theory. The company's goal is prosperity of shareholder value. To achieve these objectives the company needs funds from internal sources and external sources. Internal sources in the form of retained earnings, while the external sources of debt and shareholders' approval in the pecking order theory. This study uses the data of financial ratios of the firms during the period 2000-2010. To analyze the data, this study uses a multiple regression with the dependent variable is the debt ratio, while profitability, growth, volatility of earnings, tangibility of assets and size as independent variables. The results show that asset structure and company size has a positive and significant impact on capital structure, while profitability has a negative effect on debt ratios. But company's growth rate has not relationship with the debt ratio or capital structure. Simultaneously, the all independent variables affect capital structure significantly.Keywords: pecking order, trade-off, capital structure, debt rasioAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji teori pecking order dan teori trade-off dalam analisis struktur modal di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Teori pecking order diwakili oleh variabel profitability dan growth, sementara variabel-variabel volatility of earnings, tangibility of assets dan size mewakili teori trade-off. Tujuan perusahaan adalah memakmurkan nilai pemegang saham. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut perusahaan membutuhkan dana yang diperoleh dari sumber internal dan sumber eksternal. Sumber internal berupa laba ditahan, sedangkan sumber eksternal berupa hutang dan saham sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam teori pecking order. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa rasio-rasio keuangan dari perusahaan sampel selama periode tahun 2000-2010. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dengan variabel terikat adalah debt ratio; sedangkan profitability, growth, volatility of earnings, tangibility of assets dan size bertindak sebagai variabel bebas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa struktur asset dan ukuran perusahaan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap rasio hutang perusahaan. Sementara variabel proftabilitas memiliki efek negatif terhadap rasio hutang. Sedangkan tingkat pertumbuhan perusahaan tidak ditemukan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan rasio hutang. Secara simultan, variabel-variabel bebas dapat mempengaruhi rasio hutang secara signifikan.Kata Kunci: pecking order, trade-off, struktur modal, rasio keuangan

Abstract

AbstractThere are many differences of opinion between the experts from other scholars when they view the development of marketing discipline although they have different backgrounds competence. But that differences of opinion helped the development of the marketing discipline is faster. This article does not attempt to enliven the debate, but rather provides another discourse by pointing out the need for better harmonization between business concepts with the operationalization of the marketing aspects, including the option of the research approach, both in the context of the development of science as well as linkages with marketing applications.Keywords: business concept, operational activities, marketing researchAbstrakPerkembangan disiplin ilmu pemasaran banyak dijumpai adanya perbedaan pendapat antara satu ahli dengan ahli yang lain, meskipun dengan latarbelakang kompetensi ilmu yang berbeda. Namun waktu juga mencatat bahwa perbedaan pendapat tersebut justru membantu perkembangan disiplin pemasaran lebih cepat dan kaya. Abstract

AbstractThis study examined the mediating role of distributive and procedural justice in linking transformational leadership and job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention. Survey data was consisted of 370 employees from 60 institutions of Islamic microfinance in Central Java, Indonesia. The empirical tests indicated that transformational leadership has significant effect on procedural and distributive justice. Also, distributive and procedural justice has significant effect on all the three work outcomes. Furthermore, distributive justice was found to have mediation effect in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment and job satisfaction, but not for turnover intention. However, the study did not find any significant mediating effect of procedural justice on the relationship between transformational leadership and job satisfaction and turnover intention, but significant on organizational commitment. Keywords:transformational leadership, distributive justice, procedural justice, organizational commitment, job satisfaction and turnover intention.AbstrakStudi ini meneliti peran mediasi dari keadilan distributif dan prosedural dalam hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi dan turnover intention. Survei dilakukan terhadap 370 karyawan dari 60 lembaga keuangan mikro Islam di Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Tes empiris menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keadilan prosedural dan distributif. Juga, keadilan distributif dan prosedural memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada tiga hasil pekerjaan yakni kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi dan turnover intention. Selain itu, keadilan distributif ditemukan memiliki efek mediasi dalam hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan komitmen organisasi dan kepuasan kerja, tetapi tidak untuk turnover intention. Namun, studi ini tidak menemukan efek mediasi keadilan prosedural yang signifikan pada hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepuasan kerja dan turnover intention, tetapi signifikan pada komitmen organisasi. Kata kunci:kepemimpinan transformasional, keadilan distributif, keadilan prosedural, komitmen organisasi, kepuasan kerja dan niat omset.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to examine the effect of environmental factors and commitment in determination of product innovation-oriented strategy to improve marketing performance. Subjects were owners of gold jewelry craft SMEs in Jepara Margoyoso village. Research data, which is the primary data, collected through a questionnaire instrument. 50 SME owners craft gold jewelry as a sample drawn by the census method. With path analysis and using SPSS 14 software, this research instrument has been validated with the results so significant that it can be to test eight hypotheses that are developed based on theory. Based on hypothesis testing, seven hypotheses are estimated proved significant, alpha 5%. Only the commitment of resources does not affect the performance of marketing. Product innovation has the greatest direct impact on marketing performance. Environmental factors have a negative impact on product innovation.Keyword: Environmental factors, the commitment of resources, product innovation, performanceAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Faktor Lingkungan dan komitmen dalam penetapan strategi berorientasi produk inovasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja Pemasaran. Subyek penelitian adalah pemilik kerajinan perhiasan emas UKM di desa Jepara Margoyoso. Data penelitian, yang merupakan data primer, yang dikumpulkan melalui instrumen kuesioner. 50 pemilik UKM kerajinan perhiasan emas sebagai sampel yang ditarik dengan metode sensus. Dengan analisis jalur dan menggunakan SPSS 14 perangkat lunak, instrumen penelitian ini telah divalidasi dengan hasil signifikan sehingga dapat untuk menguji hipotesis yang dikembangkan berdasarkan teori. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, tujuh hipotesis terbukti signifikan, alpha 5%. Hanya komitmen sumber daya tidak mempengaruhi kinerja pemasaran. Inovasi produk memiliki pengaruh langsung terbesar pada kinerja pemasaran. Faktor lingkungan memiliki inovasi yang negatif terhadap produk.
