Abstract

Foundation reduction calculation end bearing foundation and friction pilehand Boussinesq theory method based on the simplification of the theory of soil mechanics. To determine the level of accuracy of the calculation of this hand method, conducted a comparison with the results of a decrease in the pole using a PDA Test . It is assumed that there is a positive correlation between the decrease in mast results of Static Load Test and PDA Test, so that PDA Test results of the settlement can be considered to replace the results of the settlement of Static Load Test.Comparison of reduction in foundation using hand method borepile Boussinesq theory and the PDA Test conducted at 3 locations in the city of Palembang. The result shows that the calculation of hand method Boussinesq theory can predict a moderate decrease in pile foundation in these three locations. In addition, a practical calculation for settlement of the pole, based on the ultimate load of the column, so the decline in each column can be estimated, so that differential settlement can be predicted. ---Perhitungan penurunan pondasi end bearing dan friction pilehand method teori Boussinesq didasarkan penyederhanaan teori mekanika tanah. Untuk mengetahui tingkat keakurasian perhitungan hand method ini diperbandingkan dengan penurunan tiang hasil PDA Test. Dengan asumsi dengan adanya korelasi positif antara penurunan tiang hasil Static Load Test dan PDA Test, sehingga hasil settlement PDA Test dapat dianggap menggantikan hasil settlement dari Static Load Test. Perbandingan penurunan pondasi borepile hand method teori Boussinesq dan PDA Test yang dilakukan 3 lokasi di Kota Palembang menunjukkan perhitungan hand method teori Boussinesq secara moderat dapat memprediksi penurunan pondasi tiang di ketiga lokasi. Selain itu perhitungan praktis settlement tiang ini didasarkan pada beban ultimit kolom sehingga penurunan masing-masing kolom dapat diestimasi sehingga differential settlement dapat diprediksi.

Abstract

Abstract — Japanese traditional housing, in its approach to harmony with natural surroundings and environment has formed as unique shape and philosophy which become Japan National property. In the other hand Japan traditional house recently becomes not popular in Japan while Japanese contemporary house has technology method for controlling its environment. However high technology needs more energy to consume and this causes the other problem of environment. This study of traditional houses, located in Kitakyushu City, aims to investigate the architectural characteristic of Japanese traditional house such as structure, plan, material, and natural environment control system. In the beginning, two traditional houses have been selected as target of study; those are Takasaki Old Residence and Shimizu Old Residence in Yahata Nishi Ward. The first section is devoted to the analysis of basic form and structure in three traditional houses. In the following section, the study examines methods used to control the architectural environment in Japanese traditional house which we can call natural environment control system. In conclusion, a preliminary outline of the architectural characteristic and natural environment control system analysis are given. Moreover, the result of this study can be expected become inspiration for recent house construction.

Abstract

The design of eco-friendly building has become imperative in anticipation of environmental degradation and climate change in the world. Indonesia already has institutions GBCI (Green Building Council of Indonesia) who does green building certification, but still very few (less than 5%) buildings that are certified according to criteria of green building. This paper aims to review the architectural design aspects of green building rating greenship in order to achieve the GBCI.Design analysis using empirical data with descriptive method is based on version 1.1 GBCI rating tools for new buildings especially in the design aspect. Feasibility study includes architectural design consists of a minimumlimit of building area, eco-friendly, environmental management, earthquake resistance, fire protection, accessibility and availability of information and data, is a basic requirement of Building Permit (IMB).Appropriate Land, Proportion Size & Quality green open space that aims to maintain or expand the city greenery to improve the quality of the microclimate, reduce CO2 and pollutants; prevent soil erosion, reduce the burden on the drainage system; maintain the balance of water and ground water systems.Criterion is the presence of a vegetation landscape area (softscape) that is free of the building structure and building simple structures garden (hardscape) above ground or below ground. Development / Revitalization which aim is to avoid construction in green areas and avoid opening new land. General accessibility facilities which aim is to encourage development in a place that al ready has network connectivity and increase the use of the building to facilitate the achievement of the community in carrying out daily activities and avoid the use of motor vehicles. Planning for public transport, pedestrian access and pedestrian paths for cycling and city parks, the purpose of the garden greenery maintain or expand the city to improve the quality of the microclimate, reduce CO2 and pollutants; prevent soil erosion, reduce the burden on the drainage system; maintain balance water balance and groundwater systems. So having micro climate comfort.Abstrak - Perancangan bangunan ramah lingkungan sudah menjadi keharusan dalam mengantisipasi kerusakan lingkungan dan perubahan iklim di dunia. Indonesia sudah memiliki lembaga GBCI (Green Building Council Indonesia) yang melakukan sertifikasi green building, tetapi masih sedikit sekali (kurang dari 5%) bangunan yang memiliki sertifikat sesuai kriteria bangunan ramah lingkungan. Paper ini bertujuan untuk meninjau aspek desain arsitektur gedung ramah lingkungan dalam rangka mencapai rating greenship GBCI. Analisis perancangan menggunakan data empiris dengan metode deskriptif berdasarkan rating tools GBCI versi 1.1. untuk bangunan baru khususnya pada aspek desain. Kajian perancangan arsitektur meliputi kelayakan terdiri dari batasan minimal luas bangunan yang ramah lingkungan, pengelolaan lingkungan, ketahanan gempa, pencegahan bahaya kebakaran, aksesibilitas dan ketersediaan informasi data, merupakan persyaratan baku ijin mendirikan bangunan (IMB). Tepat guna lahan, proporsi luas dan kualitas ruang terbuka hijau yang bertujuan untuk memelihara atau memperluas kehijauan kota untuk meningkatkan kualitas iklim mikro, mengurangi CO2 dan zat polutan; mencegah erosi tanah; mengurangi beban sistem drainase; menjaga keseimbangan neraca air bersih dan sistem air tanah. Tolak ukurnya adalah adanya area lansekap berupa vegetasi (softscape) yang bebas dari striktur bangunan dan struktur sederhana bangunan taman (hardscape) di atas permukaan tanah atau di bawah tanah. Pembangunan/revitalisasi kawasan yang bertujuan untuk menghindari pembangunan di lahan hijau dan menghindari pembukaan lahan baru. Fasilitas aksesibilitas umum yang bertujuan untuk mendorong pembangunan di tempat yang telah memiliki jaringan konektivitas dan meningkatkan pencapaian penggunaan gedung sehingga mempermudah masyarakat dalam menjalankan kegiatan sehari-hari dan menghindari penggunaan kendaraan bermotor. Merencanakan transportasi umum, akses pejalan kaki dan jalur pedestrian untuk bersepeda dan taman-taman kota. Tujuan dari taman tersebut untuk memelihara atau memperluas kehijauan kota untuk meningkatkan kualitas iklim mikro, mengurangi CO2 dan zat polutan; mencegah erosi tanah; mengurangi beban sistem drainase; menjaga keseimbangan neraca air bersih dan sistem air tanah. Sehingga memiliki kenyamanan iklim mikro.

Abstract

Evaluation of the occupant satisfaction in the residential facilities of plantation industry wa a spesific research. The specific of research was caused its occupancy status was the royalty. The status of the royalty only owned for occupant still working in the company. The propose of this research was to find out the most important residential factors and the occupant satisfaction. The research also aimed at determining the relationship between occupant characteristic and its occupancy factors. The method of this research was a combination method between qualitative abd quantitative and it was conducted sequentially. Method of data collection and data analysis were carried out in accordingly. Analysis in qualitative data was content analysis while quantitative data used statistical methods such as frequency analysis, factor analysis, and correlation analysis. This research found that the quality and condition of building were the most important residential factors but the occupants did not feel satisfied. Education and income were the occupancy characteristics which correlated with the occupancy factor such as bathroom and the relationship of space front yard area. Another correlation wa indicated by the education characteristic and the flexibility factors modified the function and form. ---Evaluasi Kepuasan penghuni pada fasilitas hunian industri perkebunan merupakan penelitian yang khas. Kekhasan kajian ini disebabkan status huniannya yang bersifat hak pakai. Status hak pakai hanya dimiliki selama penghuni masih bekerja di perkebunan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor hunian paling yang dianggap penting dan dirasakan puas oleh penghuni. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara karakteristik penghuni dan faktor-faktor huniannya. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan metode gabungan antara kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang dilakukan secara berurutan. Metode pengumpulan dan analisis data dilakukan sesuai tahap penelitiannya. Analysis yang digunakan pada data kualitatif berupa content analysis sedangan pada data kuantitatif menggunakan metode statistik berupa analisis frekuensi analisis faktor, dan analisis korelasi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kondisi dan kualitas bangunan merupakan faktor hunian yang paling dianggap penting namun tidak dirasakan paling puas oleh penghuni. Pendidikan dan penghasilan merupakan karakteristik penghuni yang berkorelasi dengan faktor-faktor hunian berupa KM/WC dan hubungan ruang serta luas halaman depan. Korelasi lainnya ditunjukkan oleh karakteristik pendidikan dan faktor keleluasaan mengubah fungsi dan bentuk.

Abstract

The urban grew along with the growing economic and technological developments. Medan city developed along with the rate of economic growth, social and physical development of cities experiencing the dynamics from time to time in accordance with conditions of development. The rise of outdoor billboards in the city of Medan show high interest in the billboard business people who were involved in the creative industries due to the high demand of the market who want to promote the product through media advertising campaign. This is due to the type of media is very effective and efficient in delivering a product message that will be presented to potential customers who do not have many opportunities to make use of other promotions. The purpose of this study is to establish the placement of billboards deployment area. This study focuses on the corridor leading to the city core (Merdeka field) with respect to some criteria such as protocol roads area, the region's historic, commercial and business district, residential areas and areas of government. ---Kota tumbuh bersamaan dengan tumbuhnya perkembangan ekonomi dan teknologi. Kota Medan berkembang seiring dengan tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi, sosial dan pembangunan fisik kota yang mengalami dinamika dari waktu ke waktu sesuai dengan kondisi perkembangan. Maraknya reklame luar ruang di Kota Medan menunjukkan tingginya minat pelaku bisnis reklame yang terjun dalam bentuk industri kreatif yang disebabkan tingginya permintaan pasar yang ingin mempromosikan produk melalui media promosi reklame. Hal ini disebabkan jenis media ini sangat efektif dan efisien dalam menyampaikan pesan produk yang akan disampaikan kepada konsumen potensial yang tidak memiliki banyak kesempatan memanfaatkan media promosi lainnya. Tujuan dilakukannya kajian ini adalah menetapkan kawsan penyebaran peletakan reklame. Identifikasi ini menitikberatkan pada koridor yang menuju inti kota (lapangan Merdeka) dengan memperhatikan beberapa kriteria seperti kawasan jalan protokol, kawasan bersejarah, kawasan komersial dan bisnis, kawasan perumahan dan kawasan pemerintahan.

Abstract

The public open space is a vital element in a city space, indirectly gives influence towards in surrounding area. It is similar, the presence passive public open space in an area indirectly effects to the area it, so if a change happens the fuction of passive public open hall becomes active public open space there will be also a change in the effect towards the surrounding area. This research focuses on Parang Kusumo Park, one of public open space which its function has changed considerably. It is located in Tlogosari Kusumo village. The increase of people activities in Parang Kusumo Park has evoked many issues in society such as traffic jam and other problem so much disturbs the communities living around the park. This research aims to know how of the changing function of passive public open space into active public open space in Parang Kusumo Park Semarang toward the quality of residential area around it. In this analysis process, the variables that are constructed from the literature review, that will be analyzed by rationalistic quantitative method.This research will show changes the qualities of residential area around Parang Kusumo Park, after the function of Parang Kusumo Park gives most significant influence based on the process, then the conclusion will be drawn. -----Ruang terbuka publik merupakan elemen vital dalam sebuah ruang kota, keberadaannya tidak langsung berpengaruh pada kawasan di sekitarnya. Begitu pula dengan keberadaan ruang terbuka publik pasif dalam suatu kawasan yang secara tidak langsung berpengaruh pada kawasan tersebut, sehingga apabila terjadi perubahan fungsi ruang terbuka publik pasif menjadi ruang terbuka publik aktif maka akan terjadi pula perubahan pada pengaruh yang ditimbulkan pada kawasan di sekitarnya.Penelitian ini berfokus pada taman Parang Kusumo, salah satu ruang terbuka publik yang mengalami perubahan fungsi, berlokasi di Kelurahan Tlogosari Kulon Semarang. Meningkatnya aktivitas masyarakat di taman Parang Kusumo menimbulkan banyak isu yang berkembang di masyarkat yaitu timbulnya kepadatan lalu lintas, masalah kebisingan dan masalah lainnya yang mengganggu kenyamanan masyarakat yang bermukim di sekitar taman tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh yang ditimbulkan oleh adanya perubahan fungsi ruang terbuka publik pasif menjadi ruang terbuka publik aktif pada taman Parang Kusumo Semarang terhadap kualitas kawasan pemukiman di sekitarnya. Dalam proses analisis, terdapat variabel penelitian yang dibangun dari kajian teori, yang dianalisis menggunakan metode kuantitatif rasionalistik.Temuan studi menunjukkan perubahan kualitas kawasan pemukiman di sekitar taman Parang Kusumo pasca perubahan fungsi dan variabel fungsi taman Parang Kusumo yang berpengaruh paling signifikan terhadap perubahan tersebut, yang kemudian akan ditarik menjadi kesimpulan.
