Abstract

Among the factors that influence the behavior of the compressive strength of concrete after placing of concrete is the presence/absence of concrete curing and how it's cure done. Concrete curing intended as an effort to maintain the continuity of the hydration process of cement with water to binder aggregate until a certain time. Loss of water during the hydration process can reduce the quality of concrete, especially concrete compressive strength. Meanwhile in the field (on projects that are less supervision) are often encountered - especially in the column - after the mold is opened (with the opening of varying ages), concrete is left alone without curing. This research review the extent to which variations in the treatment of curing post placing of concrete affect the compressive strength of concrete. For it was made in the form of cylindrical concrete specimens with varying age of treatment (by way of concrete with a plastic cover) after the mold is opened, which is 1 day, 3 day, 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, and 28 days. In addition to the specimens was made with the standard curing for comparison.

Abstract

Until this this day the proper water consumption supply problem at the Pasir Pengaraian University campus still continues. The need for clean water is one of the contributing factors that can not be ignored for the smoothness activity of the campus environment. By not proper the water, directly impacting to activities support on campus will be distrubed. For the treatment of raw water to water consumption required inexpensive technology for water treatment, the installation of Slow Sand Filter (SSF) Up Flow is an alternative that can be used.From the research results can be determined a maximum daily requirement per day is 17.03 m³ / h, discharge of raw water in the pool is 76.65 m³ / h, the surface area of pool water sources is 191, 63 m², SSF tub surface area is 63.88 m² and budget plan is needed to create a pool of water sources and the SSF is Rp. 87.926.300

Abstract

The aim of this research is planning secondary and tertiary canalin Ranah Singkuang Irrigation Area ofKampar District through variation of crop patterns. Ranah Singkuang Irrigation area functional is 241.5 Ha.The processing of agricultural land at the location is also done twice a year with padi-padi-bero crop pattern.This research method used of criteria design irrigation at published Public Works Republic of Indonesia to obtain secondary and tertiary canal dimension in Ranah Singkuang Irrigation Area, District Kampar for net field requirement.The results of four early planting alternative planned. Crop pattern is obtained which get the greatest discharge 1,381 lt/s/ha is padi-padi-bero at early planting January period I. Result of analysis for secondary and tertiary trapezium canal dimension respectively for width of canal (b) 0.42 m and 0.2 m, water level of canal (h) 0.42 m and 0.2 m , working of canal (w) 0.14 m dan 0.67 and sloope of canal (I) 1.8 x 10-4 and 1.8 x 10-4 .

Abstract

Dependable flow analysis is often difficult to predict, because influenced by natural phenomena and there are have variability of space and time. In analysis dependable flow especially the Sumatera region, usual model is used is Mock Model . However the level of reliability and accuracy have not been fully answered than the prediction of dependable flow. So it needs to be tested using a model that other rainfall-run off.The model approach used in this study is RainRun, that to predict dependable flow for applied on Sumatera region. Data is used to apply of RainRun model is Indragiri Basin for the years 1995 to 1999 are rainfall, climatological and measured discharge.The result study showed that the RainRun model to Indragiri Basin in calibration phase Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) value respectively 1,327% and verification obtained RMSE value respectively 2,811 %. Where as Mock watershed model for same Basin in calibration phase RMSE value 5,298% and the verification phase is obtained RMSE value 13,760 %. The results of comparative models RainRun and models Mock by using statistical parameter RMSE test RainRun models showed a lower error rate than the model of Mock.

Abstract

Rokan Hulu regency government is very concerned with people's needs for clean water for the most budget Rokan Hulu regency government owned companies to build infrastructure through water distribution unit called the Badan Pengelolaan Air Bersih (BPAB), one unit of water distribution net is BPAB Pematang Barangan-Pasir Putih. A water distribution unit is a group function, system, sub system, and item components are complete and mutual support for the smooth operation and water distribution.In water distribution unit BPAB Pematang Barangan for water distribution system using a centrifugal pump, with sub pump system with a single puff volut brands Ebara PUMP. To reduce the downtime of time it needs to be done to improve the availability of treatment / usability (availability) in the system function. In order to serve the function of the system can then use Reliability Centered Maitenance(RCM) method to be implemented by means of qualitative analysis on the component item that can be analyzed in detail the use of Failure Mode Effect Analisys (FMEA), Logic Tree ANALISYS, and Maintenance Task.

Abstract

SSK II airport in 2007 has a capacity of 1.8 million passengers per year with an area of terminal building are 6700 m2. Airport with an area of 6700 m2 should have a capacity of approximately 800 thousand to 1 million passengers per year. This means that the condition of SSK II Airport Pekanbaru is not suitable for use as this will impact on the quality of passenger service at the Sultan Sharif Kasim II airport.For that condition, analysis needs to be done to get the models arrival and departure passengers at the existing condition. The independent variables used in this study are: amount of population (X1), PDRB (X2), number of moderate and large industrial companies (X3), number of students (X4), number of lecturer (X5), export (X6), imports (X7), number of hotel rooms (X8), number of foreign tourists (X9).

Abstract

The relative strength of subgrade where tested by DCP to get the CBR field. DCP test conducted to adepth of 100 cm (long test equipment). Meaning that, the CBR representative is obtained from the relativestrength of the subgrade data to a depth 100 cm. CBR values can also be obtained by laboratory CBR test atsoil samples taken to a depth of 30 cm.Differences in depth review at the DCP test, reading are approaching a depth of 30 cm and 100 cm.CBR representative was calculated at the depth of 30 cm and 100 cm.CBR representative up to a depth of 30 cm was larger than the CBR representative up to a depth of 100cm. CBR representative up to a depth of 30 cm was 1,62 %, CBR representative up to a depth of 100 cm was1,2 %. Soil at a depth 30 cm to 100 cm, naturally have a lower density and CBR.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the compressive strength of concrete by using a fine aggregate from various quarry by using SK SNI and weight ratio mixture of 1:2:3.The results showed that the maximum value of Compressive strength of concrete mixture from various quarry aggregate by using the standard SK SNI obtained at the quarry lake Bingkuang concrete at the age of 28 days at 20.94 MPa. Strong hit a maximum value of mixing concrete from various quarry aggregate by a mixture of 1:2:3 ratio was also obtained on the quarry lake Bingkuang at 28 days amounting to 21.04 MPa.From a variety of fine aggregate quarry lakes tested were Bingkuang with 1:2:3 mixture has better quality than the other quarry, the difference in two ways is not too significant because the difference in compressive strength value of 0.5% only. The best Quarry of fine aggregate is from Bingkuang Lake area, but in general all good quarry used to mix concrete, because they meet the standards of SK SNI.

Abstract

Concrete mix designed to determine the composition of the concrete materials. Basically the concrete mix design is intended to produce a composition with a minimum use of materials with a fixed maximum force to consider the standard criteria of the quality of concrete and economical when viewed from the aspect of the overall cost. The purpose of this study was to compare the results of the design (theoretically) a mixture of concrete plans fc '22.5 MPa for 1 m3 using the Department of Environment (DoE) and the methods of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), of both methods is theoretically known to use materials optimal material (economic).Stages in the concrete mix design fc '22.5 MPa were: (1) sieving fine aggregate and coarse aggregate, (2) examination of specific gravity and absorption of fine aggregate and coarse aggregate, (3) examination of the contents of an aggregate weight and (4) examination mud content by using the same material that is aggregated from the Tanjung Belit quary Rokan Hulu regency.
