Abstract

The objective of the research was to produce a drawing table system with 2-aksis XY-table method and EMCsoftware implementation. The EMC (Enhanced Machine Control) features are integrated with L297 and L298 as a motorstepper driver to draw simple objects. Methods used in the research are library research, engineering, and laboratory.The results concluded that system can work properly to draw objects such as square, triangle, circle, and capital lettersA-Z according to the given input.

Abstract

The article purpose was to know the relation between BinusMaya with student satisfaction of Bina NusantaraUniversity. The used research method was survey method, corelational technique with collecting data using questioner.The research result was there is correlation coefficient + (0,4336) which mean there is positive relation and includingmedium category between BinusMaya with student satisfaction. Determination coefficient was 0,188 which means 18,8% of student satisfaction variation can be explain by BinusMaya variable. The conclusion was there is positive correlationbetween BinusMaya with the student satisfaction, which means the more effective of BinusMaya so the student satisfactionis getting higher.Keywords: BinusMaya, student satisfaction, computerize accounting

Abstract

A car driver often had trouble to park his car a narrow location, caused by a narrow parking area on the wane.Also, cars had often crashed the electric pillar or scratched the car on the wall while retreat. The problem was the driverdidn’t know condition behind vehicle because of limited of view. The research aimed to make a system that can easily helpdriver in parking his car, by using of ultrasonic parking sensor. The method used in sensor scheme parks is ultrasonicisensor to detect and measure car and balk distance by utilising of 851 family microcontroller as the main system. Theresult indicates that ultrasonic censor effective deep measurement was on distance of 2 cm – 30 m. It is that enoughultrasonic censor is effective to be implemented on censor parks.

Abstract

The running evaluation system has purpose to make sure whether the control in general ledger informationsystem was sufficient enough and also can support an effective and efficient performance. The evaluations are usinginterview, questioner, and observation method. The result was it can be known the positive and negative on every controland running application. The negative thing on application will be put on risk analysis table and also with recommendationon the negative things. The conclusion of the research was measure of the running information system, how far it wasrunning with the control, and the important of the company awareness to make evaluation on the information systemcontrol.Keywords: evaluation, information system, application, general ledger

Abstract

Aim of the research was to prove that backpropagation method could be implemented for image recognitionwhile doing object classification. Observational method done was to do library research by reading and searching forinformation from various sources, then conduct analysis upon data, and last, design the application from analysisresults. From the evaluation that has been done, the result for accuration and speed are high enough (above 95%). Afteranalyzing evaluation result, it is concluded that backpropagation method could be implemented for object classification.

Abstract

Charoen Pokphand Indonesia company was a big cattle food company and the distribution spread all overIndonesia. In this research, it was proposed to analyse the use of information technology investment and how to run thedivison budget using New Information Economics (NIE) method and using four out of five NIE practice, which are ategicDemand/ Supply Planning, Innovation, Prioritization, and Alignment. The research result was the company managementwill be able to know which Information System (IS) and Information Technology (IT) that was more important to bedeveloped also which one was not because did not give positive impact. Abstract

Article discuss problem faced by PT Balfour Beatty Sakti Indonesia (PT BBSI), which is lack planning ofmaterial inventory supply. Inventory was bought overly as safety stock. That caused inventory stacking so the companyoperation less efficient and caused damage on the material itself. The inventory model will be used to overcome theproblem is Periodic Order Quantity (POQ) model that was develop from Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) basic model.The proposed problem solution will be applied in inventory information system in form of analysis and design of materialinventory information system object oriented using Mathiassen approach.Keywords: information system, inventory, intranet, material

Abstract

Celullar phone nowadays can be used for security system on vehicle. One of the researches that has beendone was using MMS/SMS to tell the owner of the vehicle that the vehicle was being stolen. The research purposewas to make security system on vehicle using AVR as controller and cellular phone to communicate, and the cellularphone that was on the vehicle was dialed directly to the owner informing that was being stolen. The used researchmethod was literature and experimental method. The research result indicated that the security system has responstime ± 20 seconds more faster than the system before (using MMS/SMS) that needs time 2-6 minutes.

Abstract

UTM is an application which integrated many security features become a single hardware platform. The reasonbehind this research is to build a system that protects the network in St. Bellarminus school. Research method that hasbeen used in this research is spiral method, whereas the development of the application is continues and can be modifiedeasily if there is new version of the security tools implemented in the application, or if there is a better security tools to beused. The outcome of the system is very good, because it can protects the network: cross-platform firewall, IntrusionDetection System, Proxy Server, email protection against virus and spam. In conclusion, the application can producehigh effectiveness with low cost and this application is very useful in monitoring and configuring the network in St.Bellarminus school.Keywords: security network, unified threat management, anti virus, server, proxy, firewall
