Jurnal Administrasi Bisnis (JAB) adalah jurnal ilmiah Ilmu Administrasi Binis, diterbitkan oleh Center for Business Studies (CeBiS), Jurusan Ilmu Administrasi Bisnis, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan. Jurnal Administrasi Bisnis diterbitkan 2 (dua) kali dalam satu tahun, setiap bulan Maret dan September, yang memuat essay dan atau hasil penelitian dalam kajian Ilmu Administrasi Bisnis. Jurnal Administrasi Bisnis bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan hasil pemikiran dan analisis ilmiah dalam bidang Ilmu Admnistrasi Bisnis.
Jurnal Administrasi Bisnis (JAB) is the biannual scientific journal of Business Administration, published by the Center for Business Studies (CeBiS), Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Parahyangan Catholic University. Jurnal Administrasi Bisnis is issued two (2) times a year, every March and September, which contains essays or research results in Business Administration. Jurnal Administrasi Bisnis aims to disseminate the ideas and scientific analysis in the field of Business Administration.

This study aims to design an inventory management control system at Toko Bintang Terang. This research uses a qualitative approach of the Toko Bintang Terang. Data analysis tools use MIT 90's Framework and Data Flow Diagrams. Data sources come from interviews with owners and managers and also observations. The results showed that there were 4 groups of activities related to the inventory control system namely: store planning, purchasing, warehousing, and logistics. The proposed system for store planning is in the form of inventory categorization based on 3 factors, namely movement of goods, consumer tastes, and events. The purchasing system is categorized into 2 processes ordering systems such as by telephone or salesmen who come to the store. The warehouse system needs to implement stock opname that has not been done so far as well as a logistics system that helps companies save costs and improve services to customers. This system can run optimally if store owners and managers carry out routine monitoring and checking of inventory management processes such as categorizing goods per month, operating inventory every month, and checking logistics whether it is in accordance with the planned budget or not.

Public understanding of insurance ownership is proven to be shallow, which can be seen from the low insurance literacy index in Indonesia. The same thing is also shown by the small number of people who already have insurance at a young age. Insurance ownership is also influenced by people's attitudes toward reducing and managing risk. This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy and risk attitude on life insurance ownership. This study is an associative research by taking 124 respondents who own life insurance. Data was collected through a google form questionnaire and processed using a Likert scale. The data were then analyzed by logistic regression IBM SPSS Statistics 18. The results showed that financial literacy had a significant effect on life insurance ownership, while risk attitude had no significant effect on life insurance ownership. Risk Attitude has no effect on insurance ownership because people prefer low premium values. On the other hand, insurance ownership can still be increased by increasing public awareness of the uses and benefits of insurance, especially for planning and managing personal finances.

This study aims to analyze the corrective maintenance of the 4 Color Offset Printing machine at CV.Aries Anugrah Karya Utama. Another goal is to find out to what extent the corrective maintenance of the 4 Color Offset Printing machine has been running effectively and efficiently. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, using purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data by doing observation, interview and documentation, to test the validity and reliability by using triangulation of sources, triangulation of techniques and time triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the availability of corrective maintenance has not reached the predetermined target which has a percentage of less than 90%. In corrective maintenance preparations it was found that the preparation of spare parts was not optimal due to incomplete inventory, furthermore the documentation and corrective maintenance procedures were not optimal. In this case there is still much that needs to be improved in the corrective maintenance of the 4 color offset printing machine on CV.Aries Anugrah Karya Utama , such as corrective maintenance preparation needs to be improved, corrective maintenance procedures need to be designed properly and corrective maintenance documentation needs to be better managed.

Digital business in Indonesia has been growing rapidly over the last few years. Google, Temasek, and Bain & Company forecast that the value of the digital economy in Indonesia will reach USD 146 billion by 2025, making up 40.22% of the total digital economy in Southeast Asia. This digital development occurs in several industries, one of which is the architecture industry. Indonesian architects began to conduct digital activities, especially for communicating with the public. The practice will develop the architectural industry, but there is an indication of problems related to violations of the Architectural Code of Ethics summarized by the Indonesian Architects Association (IAI). Some of the digital practices of Indonesian architects are suspected to have violated several components in the Code of Ethics. This can lead to the revocation of the STRA certification, which will cause problems with the legality of the practice of Indonesian architecture. Using the literature study method, this paper analyzes the components of the Architectural Code of Ethics with the digital practices of Indonesian architects which are summarized using the AISAS Model. The results of the paper show that with certain approaches, digital practices will not violate the Code of Ethics.

During the pandemic, many companies experienced the impact of the pandemic, including insurance companies. This study conducted with a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis method using the SPSS 23. The sample in this study was determined by the purposive sampling method with the criteria of general insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that reported interim financial statements in Q1 2019 to Q3 2021, so that a sample of 10 companies was obtained. The data obtained in this study are secondary data by downloading the interim financial statements of insurance companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. Hypothesis testing in this study was carried out using the t test and Sobel test. The results of this study indicate that the ratio of premium growth and risk based capital have an effect on return on assets. Then the premium growth ratio and risk based capital have an effect on the claims expense ratio, while the claims expense ratio doesn’t have effect on return on assets and the claims expense ratio is able mediate the effect of the premium growth ratio and risk based capital on return on assets.

The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing hospitals to share knowledge more frequently, so that medical staff have adequate capabilities to better treat patients. One of the tools that can support knowledge sharing activities is the availability of adequate information technology infrastructure. This study will describe the influence of hospital information technology infrastructure on knowledge sharing intention. This study uses quantitative methods with a purposive sampling technique. The data obtained were 45 employee respondents in the finance bureau and the procurement and logistics bureau at St. X Hospital. The results showed that the procedure dimension had the highest score and the network dimension had the lowest score in the information technology infrastructure variable. As for the knowledge sharing intention variable, the proximity dimension has the highest score and the type of knowledge has the lowest score. The results of the study which show that information technology infrastructure does not affect knowledge sharing intention, make the hospital must be able to fix an information technology infrastructure before continuing its development. One of them is by giving awards to employees who are active and regularly use information technology infrastructure facilities especially as a medium to share knowledge.

Technical competency is a supporting factor in carrying out certain types of work. Competency is usually applied in competency-based human resources management. In this study, research was conducted on companies engaged in the Automotive Industry, in the company it was found that Human Resource management was less than optimal in carrying out its functions.The purpose of this research is to design technical competencies for the Human Resources Department, preceded by knowing the process of designing technical competencies in the Human Resources Department and knowing what technical competencies must be in the Human Resources Department. This type of research is qualitative, with a case study method. The data collection technique is interviews with three people from the Human Resources Department and is also supported with relevant secondary data from the company. The result of this research is the design of technical competence for the Human Resources Department which consists of 30 technical competencies with standard level starting from level 0 to 3. The recommendation that can be given is that the Human Resources Department should be able to implement this design and develop it for the whole company.

Nowadays, social media has become one of the important technologies that involved in human daily life including business. There are many benefits that entrepreneurs can get to develop their business by utilizing social media to communicate business. Thus, this research aims to determine the social media roles in developing business. This research used descriptive qualitative research method with Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The outcome of this research are social media has a role as a place for business development in marketing products through the marketing mix, increasing customer engagement of a business, increasing sales in the midst of covid-19 pandemic situations, and become a place for representing a business. Social media is also needed in advancing competition of local wisdom SMEs to support the Indonesian economy. So, social media is a way for entrepreneurs to develop their business.

COVID-19 was declared a pandemic in March 2020 and wreaked havoc on the economy and business, including the stock market. This disruption has led various researchers to publish about the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the stock market. Due to the massive number of publications, this study reviews this novel research topic using bibliometric analysis. This study aims to identify thematic clusters, collaboration networks, and high-impact publications and research constituents. This study utilizes science mapping and performance analysis techniques such as co-authorship, bibliographic coupling, and citation analysis. This study merges data from Scopus and Dimensions database with R Studio bibliometrix package, which then are plotted using VOS Viewer and biblioshiny. The findings of this study are collaboration networks, thematic clusters, and a list of high-impact publications and research constituents. This study’s contribution is the intellectual and bibliometric structure of the COVID-19 and stock market research field. Based on these study, COVID-19 does not only affect the stock market negatively but also reveal the connectedness between the stock market and commodities.

The increasing number of restaurants leads to competition in service, the restaurant will provide perfect service to keep consumers visiting again. The quality of reliable human resources in service, especially in the marketing and sales divisions, is the best way said restaurant owners according to restaurant representatives. Training and development will create quality human resources that adapt to service developments. These services are business-to-business and business-to-consumer which have different consumer characteristics. The research purpose is to examine human resource analytics information systems in determining prospective employees’ training with limited funds.. Interviews and focus group discussions were conducted in this study. A qualitative approach using the business challenge bundle method and business process model and notation is used to analyze the data. Data was collected from interviews and focus group discussion.There are five stages of the module. The first module is about the skill map, the second is the training map, the third is the performance map, the fourth is about the behavior map, and the fifth is the design of the Human Resource Analytics system which has been integrated from modules 1 to 4.
