Abstract

Strategi Perikanan Tangkap Ikan Cakalang (Katsuwonus Pelamis Linneus) Di Teluk Tomini Kabupaten Bonebolango. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi pengembangan penangkapan ikan cakalang (Katsuwonus Pelamis Linneus). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2022 sampai September 2022 di perairan Di Teluk Tomini Kabupaten Bonebolango. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei-observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner penentuan strategi penangkapan dilakukan survei PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) dengan analisis SWOT dan AHP. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, Prioritas strategi yang dapat dijalankan adalah (1) Pengembangan sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang produksi perikanan tangkap yang berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan; (2) Peningkatan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia untuk mendukung upaya pemanfaatan sumber daya perikanan secara berkelanjutan; dan (3) Pengadaan data base.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the density, diversity and dominance index as well as the current condition of the seagrass ecosystem in Ponelo Village, Ponelo Islands District, North Gorontalo Regency. This research was carried out from March to August 2019. Samples were collected using the line transect method in a systematic manner using 1x1 meter quadrants. All research study areas are divided into 3 stations based on the presence of seagrass. Data analysis includes density, diversity and dominance index as well as current conditions. There were 4 types of seagrass found at the research location from 2 families, namely Enhalus acroides and Cymodocea rotundata from the Potomogetonaceae family and Halophila ovalis and Thalassia hemprichii from the Hydrocharitaceae family. The type of seagrass that has the highest density is Cymodocea rotundata and the type of seagrass that has the lowest density is Halophila ovalis. Seagrass diversity was obtained at stations 1 and 2 with a value of 0.98-0.91 with low status, while station 3 obtained a value of 1.38 with medium status. The Dominance Index results from stations 1, 2, and 3 obtained a value of 0.25-0.50 in the low category. The condition of the seagrass beds is based on density values, namely that the conditions at stations 1, 2 and 3 are rather dense and sparse.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the diversity and zoning patterns of mangroves in Otiola Village, Ponelo Islands District, North Gorontalo Regency. Data collection was carried out from January to February 2021. The sampling method used quadrant line transects and the method for determining mangrove zoning was based on three zoning divisions, namely, proximal, middle and distal. The research location is divided into 4 stations, and each station consists of 5 transect lines. Diversity was calculated using the Simpson Diversity Index formula. The research results show that in Otiola Village there are 20 types of mangroves. The diversity index for the tree category is in the medium to high category (0.632 – 0.873) and for the sapling level it is in the low, medium to high category (0.489 – 0.876), while the seedlings are in the medium to high category (0.674 – 0.831). The mangrove zoning in Otiola Village is classified as impure zoning because there are several species that vary in each zoning (mixed).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of adding organic rice bran material through the EM4 (Effective Microorganism) probiotic fermentation process with different doses on increasing the Daphnia magna population. This research was carried out from June to July 2018, which took place at the UPTD Multipurpose Entrepreneur Fish Seed Center, Gorontalo City. This research used the Experimental Method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) for three treatments and three replications, namely treatment A (5gr rice bran + 1 ml of fermented EM4), treatment B (5gr of fermented rice bran + 3 ml of fermented EM4), treatment C (5gr rice bran + EM4 5 ml fermented). The results of this research show that organic rice bran fermented using EM4 probiotics has an effect on Daphnia magna population growth. The research results showed that the best value was in treatment A, fermented rice bran produced the highest peak population on the eighth day with a density of 171 individuals/liter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan IL-28 K  dengan dosis yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan gurami (Osphronemus gouramy). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menggunakan Analysis ofVariance (ANOVA) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Hewan uji yang digunakan adalah benih ikan gurami (Osphronemus gouramy)sebanyak 192 ekor dengan panjang rata- rata benih awal ± 3 cm dan berat awal ± 1,3 gram. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 28 hari. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah dosis pakan IL-28 K yang berbeda, yaitu A (3%), B (6%), C (9%)  dan D (12%) dari total bobot tubuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan panjang dan berat mutlak terbaik ditunjukkan pada perlakuan D (12%) berturut-turut sebesar 0,51 cm dan 0,46 g. Hasil analisis sidik ragam pertumbuhan panjang dan berat benih ikan gurami menunjukan bahwa pemberian pakan IL-28 K dengan dosis yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan panjang dan berat benih ikan gurami, dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) untuk pertumbuhan panjang dan berat  diperoleh berbeda nyata pada setiap perlakuan. Data hasil perhitungan persentasi jumlah benih ikan gurami yang hidup selama masa pemeliharaan, persentasi tertinggi berada pada perlakuan D (12%) yaitu memiliki kelangsungan hidup sebanyak 77.08%. Kata kunci: Gurami, IL-28 K, Dosis pakan, Pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of seaweed (Kappaphycus alvarezii) on the hedonic organoleptic characteristics of the dried salted catfish (Decapterus sp.) chili product. The treatments in this study were seaweed concentrations of 5%, 10% and 15%. The hedonic organoleptic data analysis used was Kruskall-wallis with test parameters namely taste, appearance, texture, aroma and color. Further test using the Duncan test. The results showed that the addition of seaweed had no significant effect on the hedonic value of taste, appearance, texture, aroma and color. The hedonic characteristics of chili sauce with the addition of different seaweeds have a taste value of 6.08–7.00 with the criteria of slightly liking to liking; appearance 7.00-7.28 with Like criteria; texture 6.88–7.24 with liking criteria; aroma 6.80–7.32 with liking criteria; and color 6.92–7.52 with liking criteria.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of K. alvarezii seaweed fortification on the organoleptic characteristics of crackers made from sweet potato (Ipomea batatas). The treatment in this research was a cracker formulation with fortified K. alvarezii seaweed pulp of 50gr, 75gr and 100gr. The parameters tested were organoleptic characteristics through hedonic tests, namely texture, taste, color, appearance and aroma which were analyzed using Kruskall Walis. The results of the Kurskal Walis test show that fortification has no effect on hedonic value. The hedonic quality characteristics of crackers made from sweet potato (Ipomea batatas) were selected, namely having a texture value of 7.08 with the criteria dry and brittle, taste 6.88 with the criteria of a slight seaweed taste, appearance 7.76 with the criteria intact, neat, clean, homogeneous. , uneven thickness, cream color and looks bright white, aroma 7.36 with the criteria for a slight seaweed aroma.
