Abstract

This research is motivated by the outbreak of COVID-19. Maintaining health during the pandemic COVID-19  is very important. The purpose of this study is to provide health insights so that students understand the health protocol to prevent COVID-19. The approach used in this study is qualitative. The research method used is library research. Data analysis techniques in this study were data reduction, data presentation, concluding, and data verification. Amid the pandemic COVID-19, learning done online, so that the creativity of the teacher is very much needed so that students remain enthusiastic and motivated to follow the learning process despite the distance. The results of this study indicate that developing teaching materials with health insight is very important especially in Indonesian teaching materials so that students understand the importance of maintaining hygiene and health. So that students follow the health protocol and implement methods of prevention of COVID-19 transmission by diligently washing hands with soap, using masks, keeping a distance, and eating nutritious foods to avoid transmission and breaking the chain of spread of the virus.

Abstract

Children world is identical to games. Lately traditional game is left and replaced by the emerging of technology. This paper aimed at describing jungkit-jungkitan traditional game activity in character education review. Commonly this game is played by boys in coupled group, in sitting position on each of the player instep, while moving from start to finish. This study was a qualitative descriptive research involving elementary school children in Buahan Village, Tabanan, Bali. The data was collected through interview and observation. Data analysis used content analysis upon the procedure of jungkit-jungkitan game and data from interview and observation on the children. The validation was conducted by expert discussion. The finding showed that jungkit-jungkitan traditional game embraced the four-character education pillars, i.e. (1) intellectual development, (2) affective development, (3) spiritual and emotional development, and (4) physical and kinesthetic development. Majority the developed character values in jungkit-jungkitan traditional game was on the pillar of physical and kinesthetic development, i.e. discipline, sportive, tough, reliable, endurance, cheerful, persistent, hardworking, and competitive.

Abstract

Manajemen kelas merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam proses belajar mengajar denganmanajemen kelas yang tepat dan benar siswa akan merasa nyaman dan senang saat menerima materipembelajaran sehingga hasil belajar pun diharapkan akan lebih baik dengan manajemen yang tepat,oleh karena itu seorang pendidik diharapkan dapat menguasai manajemen kelas dengan baik. Tujuandilakukan penelitian ini adalah guna menganalisis pengaruh manajemen kelas dengan hasil belajarpeserta didik di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode jenis penelitian meta-analisis.Sedangkan teknik dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi berupa artikel yangterdapat pada google scholar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan analisispembanding. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap hasilbelajar siswa di Sekolah Dasar memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dengan tingkatpersentase 77.8%. Hasil penelitian dari artikel yang dianalisis memiliki pengaruh positif, sedangkan22.2 % hasil penelitian yang dianalisis menyatakan tidak ada pengaruh karena ada factor lain yangmempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik tidak dari manajemen kelas yang diterapkan pendidik.Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah 1) hendaknya guru menguasai manajemen kelas yang tepat, baikdan sesuai dengan peserta didik sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Sekolah Dasar, 2)bagi peneliti lain, hendaknya ada penelitian lanjutan yang terkait dengan hasil penelitian ini sehinggabisa digunakan sebagai dasar penelitian lanjut.

Abstract

Character building should be something that must be done continuously without stopping either through coaching, habituation, coaching and other things that improve the character improvement of students. The characters that have been formed will show student behavior through attitudes. Based on observations made at SD Negeri 002 Rambah Samo for the 2019/2020 school year, character education has been implemented through several indicators of character education, so that it will have an impact on student achievement. This study aims to reveal whether there is an effect of character education on student achievement in SD Negeri 006, Rambah Samo District. The hypothesis proposed in this study is character education has an effect on learning achievement. This type of research is simple linear correlation and regression. The research method used in this research is correlational quantitative method. The population in this study were high-grade students (Class IV, V and VI) SD Negeri 006 Rambah Samo, Rokan Hulu Regency, totaling 107 students. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, so that the total sample size was 84 students. Data were collected using a Likert scale model questionnaire which has been tested for validity and reliability. Test the questionnaire by comparingvalue Cronbach's alpha (0.620).   The results obtained in testing the research instrument were 0.848, greater than 0.620, so the research instrument was said to be reliable or valid. The results of data analysis showed that the effect of character education on learning achievement was obtained by 52.3%. The level of achievement of the character education variable is in the quite good category, namely 79.25%. Meanwhile, the level of the respondents' achievement in the learning achievement variable was obtained by 77.26% with a fairly good category.

Abstract

The development of science, technology and art (science and technology) brings global changes, including in the world of education. This development demands quality human resources to create increasingly attractive media and educational materials. This development research aims to look at the effectiveness of website products with wordpress applications to improve learning outcomes of fourth grade MI students. Based on the feasibility level of the media with a score of 82.89 and the material with a score of 96.25 shows that the media is valid enough to be tested in the experimental group. The trial results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes in the Social Sciences sub-topic Uniqueness of the Place Where I Live. This type of research is Research Reseach Development and Development (R&D) with ADDIE model procedures performed. The feasibility level of the media and material is 55 with. Student learning value is measured by the Minimum completeness Criteria (KKM) 70, the student learning outcomes achieved indicate an increase in class average from 55.00 to 85.50 of students totaling 20. The data was obtained in the experimental phase of the experimental class with the pretest instrument and post test. The conclusion of the research is that the website learning media with wordpress application effectively improves the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of MI Sunan Pandanaran (MISPA), Sardonoharjo Ngaglik Sleman Temple on Social Studies sub theme theme of Regional Uniqueness in my place.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low awareness of discipline. This study aims to determine the correlation of teacher personality competence with student discipline and how much the correlation between teacher competency and student discipline. The research method used is correlational. This research was conducted in class VI SDN Majalaya with a sample of 30 students. Data collection techniques are Likert scale questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of the correlation analysis test obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.61 with a significance of 0.000. The significance value obtained is 0.000. 0.000 <0.05 thus there is a correlation between the teacher's personal competence and student discipline.
