Abstract

The aim of research was to know the ability of polyploid Saccharomyces cerevisiae immobilized on mixture of Na-alginat and CaCl2 to conduct fermentation process to produce ethanol higher. Fermentation process was carried out twice namely for 48 hours and 96 hourrs. The results showed that the higher ethanol concentration was produced at the first and the second fermentation of 48 hours as much as 9.603%. While the first fermentation of 96 hours produced 6.987%2 to conduct fermentation process to produce ethanol higher. Fermentation process was carried out twice namely for 48 hours and 96 hourrs. Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of visual student skills in imaginative two-dimensional drawing. This study uses a qualitative method. The subjects of this study were students of Class IIA at SDN Jemur Wonosari 1/417 Surabaya, which were categorized based on learning styles. The instrument used to collect data in the form of a checklist of learning styles, documentation and interviews. Based on the results of imaginative drawing show subjects with visual learning styles are able to draw two-dimensional imaginative by using the elements of lines and colors well. The visual subject in the picture is already able to use straight lines, curved lines and zig-zag lines. The visual subject has also been able to project three-dimensional objects into two-dimensional images. Visual subjects look a lot using colors in drawing. The combination of primary, secondary and tertiary colors. In images, the dominant color used by visual subjects is primary colours. It can be concluded that children with visual learning styles have the characteristics of being neat, orderly, thorough and concerned with appearance, so this is in line with the results of images that look neat, harmonious and realistic.

Abstract

Manajemen kelas merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam proses belajar mengajar denganmanajemen kelas yang tepat dan benar siswa akan merasa nyaman dan senang saat menerima materipembelajaran sehingga hasil belajar pun diharapkan akan lebih baik dengan manajemen yang tepat,oleh karena itu seorang pendidik diharapkan dapat menguasai manajemen kelas dengan baik. Tujuandilakukan penelitian ini adalah guna menganalisis pengaruh manajemen kelas dengan hasil belajarpeserta didik di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode jenis penelitian meta-analisis.Sedangkan teknik dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi berupa artikel yangterdapat pada google scholar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan analisispembanding. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap hasilbelajar siswa di Sekolah Dasar memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dengan tingkatpersentase 77.8%. Hasil penelitian dari artikel yang dianalisis memiliki pengaruh positif, sedangkan22.2 % hasil penelitian yang dianalisis menyatakan tidak ada pengaruh karena ada factor lain yangmempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik tidak dari manajemen kelas yang diterapkan pendidik.Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah 1) hendaknya guru menguasai manajemen kelas yang tepat, baikdan sesuai dengan peserta didik sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Sekolah Dasar, 2)bagi peneliti lain, hendaknya ada penelitian lanjutan yang terkait dengan hasil penelitian ini sehinggabisa digunakan sebagai dasar penelitian lanjut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui menguji ada pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Kyai Hasyim Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Kyai Hasyim Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Kyai Hasyim Surabaya pada tanggal 22 Oktober 2018. Teknk pengumpulan data adalah menggunakan observasi, angket dan tes yag berupa pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas V SD Kyai Hasyim Surabaya setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Peningkatan tersebut disebabkan karena penyajian dalam materi rantai makanan menarik. Jumlah skor dari posttest yakni 3478 dengan rata-rata 86,95, sehingga presentase rata-rata tersebut masuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik. pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD KYai Hasyim Surabaya yakni terdapat perubahan kenaikan skor sebanyak 780 poin sedangkan presentase rata-rata naik sebanyak 19,50, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis 1 (H1) diterima. Artinya terdapat perbedaan antara nilai hasil pretest dan post test dan terdapat adanya pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran siswa pada pembelajaran tematik melalui model discovery learning. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian siswa kelas III Al Qolam SDIT Bina Insan Cendekia Kota Pasuruan yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Alat pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian pada siklus 1 Indikator keberhasilan siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran belum mencapai apa yang diharapkan. Pada siklus ke 2 aktivitas siswa telah muncul aktivitas pada pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model discovery learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas proses pembelajaran tematik pada Kelas III Al Qolam SDIT Bina Insan Cendekia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of learning motivation among grade III students in IPAS (Integrated Natural Science and Social Science) learning. This is due to the teaching method still relying on lectures and the absence of learning media in IPAS classes. This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning motivation in IPAS learning after the use of audiovisual animation learning media. The research method used is quantitative with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study is all grade III students. The sample is determined using purposive sampling. The instrument used is a student learning motivation questionnaire based on the Likert scale. Data analysis uses N-Gain test with the help of Excel application. The research results are as follows: (1) The students' learning motivation before the use of audiovisual learning media in the IPAS lessons in grade III on the topic 'Recognizing Animals in the Surroundings' was categorized as poor. After the implementation of audiovisual learning media, the average post-test score of the students' learning motivation improved to a good category. (2) There was an increase in students' learning motivation after the application of audiovisual media in IPAS lessons in grade III. (3) Students' responses to the use of audiovisual learning media showed a very positive category.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the role and method of PJOK teachers to overcome the hyperactive students of SD Tunas Bhakti 26 during the V grade PJOK learning. It is done in an individual, unified and comprehensive way. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Studies have shown that hyperactive students tend to lose focus and remain silent for long periods of time. Teachers need a special approach to keep them interested in learning activities. During the learning activity, there were obstacles in the research process. That is, (1) the students got bored easily and found it difficult to sit quietly on their respective benches. (2) Hyperactive students easily ignore teacher warnings. (3) The hyperactive student has difficulty working in groups, such as when discussing with classmates. Based on the results of existing research, it can be concluded that hyperactive students tend to be unable to focus and remain silent for a long time. Teachers need a special approach to interest them in learning activities.

Abstract

Low student learning outcomes in science and science subjects are one of the problems faced in Class III B SDN Siwalankerto II Surabaya, this is due to the lack of variety of learning media used by several teachers. Based on the problems above, teachers need to vary the learning media. There are many learning media that can be used by teachers, for example snakes and ladders, smart boards, flashcards, song media. With this, researchers want to apply song video and animation media which aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes in science subjects. The research method used is quantitative with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample for this research was determined from the results of simple random sampling, namely Class III B students, totaling 27 students. Data collection was carried out through observations of learning implementation, learning outcomes tests (pretest and posttest), as well as questionnaires to determine student responses to animated song video media. The learning was carried out in 2 meetings with the results: (1) The results of observations of the implementation of the learning showed that the first meeting was 100% implemented and the second meeting was 100% implemented; (2) Student learning outcomes increased significantly with an average N-Gain score of 0.7258; (3) Student responses to song video and animation media are in the very high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of song video and animation media can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects.

Abstract

Science subjects are often challenging for fourth-grade students due to difficult-to-understand delivery methods, lack of student engagement in learning, and less-than-optimal learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the STAD cooperative learning model in improving student learning outcomes. The method used is a quantitative method with a pre-experimental system, with data collection techniques in the form of pre-tests and post-tests. Data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively using learning completeness assessed based on question scores. Before the application of the STAD learning model, students who had not achieved material understanding were 51.71%. After receiving treatment with the STAD learning model, there was a significant increase in understanding of 86.76%. These findings indicate that the application of an appropriate interactive and technology-based learning model can effectively improve student understanding and learning outcomes. Keywords: Cooperative Learning, STAD Type, Elementary School Mata pelajaran IPAS sering kali menjadi tantangan bagi siswa kelas IV karena disebabkan cara penyampaian yang sulit dipahami, kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, dan hasil belajar kurang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan sistem pre-eksperimen, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan ketuntasan belajar yang dinilai berdasarkan skor soal. Sebelum penerapan model pembelajaran STAD, siswa yang belum mencapai pemahaman materi sebesar 51,71%. Setelah menerima treatment dengan model pembelajaran STAD, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan sebesar 86,76%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran yang interaktif dan berbasis teknologi yang tepat. Dapat efektif meningkatkan pemahaman serta hasil belajar siswa. Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of examining the effect of the Place Value Numeracy Board learning media (PENAT) on the learning interest of 3rd-grade students, particularly in mathematics with the topic of place value. This study employed a quantitative research approach using a Pre-Experimental Design type: One Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample consisted of all 22 students in the 3rd grade, or in other words, a saturated sampling technique was used, as the entire population was included as the sample. Data collection in this study used a learning interest questionnaire. For data analysis, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test was used because the sample size was small (less than 30 students). Meanwhile, for hypothesis testing, the Paired Sample T-Test was used. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the average learning interest score of 3rd-grade students before the treatment (pretest) was 46.54, while the average score after the treatment (posttest) was 52.09. This means that the average learning interest in mathematics increased by 11.92%. Moreover, the result of the t-test using SPSS version 26 showed a significance value of 0.008, which means 0.008 < 0.05 (H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted). However, the correlation value between the pretest and posttest data was found to be -0.276, indicating a weak relationship between the two tested variables. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PENAT learning media has an effect on the mathematics learning interest of 3rd-grade students, but the effect is considered weak. This is due to the lack of a strong relationship between the two tested variables, indicating that PENAT media has only a weak influence on students’ interest in learning mathematics.
