Abstract

The objektive of the research was to analyze pedagogical and profesional competence of certified elementary school teachers on science learning. The research subjecs were 16 teachers. The research method employed was qualitive descriptive by using survey data collected by questionnare, observation and interview. The research result showed hat the pedagogical competence of certified elementary school teachers in science learning in regional I and regional II Tanantovea sub district with observation result reached 48% and questionnare was 76,12%. The competence of the professional had haved on observation 45,97% and questionnare was 66,02%. The pedagogical competence of certified elementary school teacher on science learning in regional I and regional II Tanantovea sub district was good enough category. The professional competence of certified elementary school teachers on science learning was in good enough category.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out the information and determine the influence of teachers’ working motivation, comminication and commitment toward science teachers’ profesionalism in Sabatu Region I Parigi Moutong Regency. This was a quantitative research with survey method. The poulation was the science teachers of SMP in Parigi Moutong Regency Sabatu Region (Sausu, Balinggi and Torue) academic year 2011/2012. The sample was 30 Science teachers. The techique of data collection used questionnaire. The researdh results show that: there was a significart influence of motivation toward Science teacher’ professionalism(ρ=0.000) wich was 67.0%; there was a significant influence of teachers’ comunication toward Science teachers’ professionalism (ρ=0.000) was 55.8%; there was a significant influence of teachers’ commitment toward Science teachers’ professionalism (ρ=0.000) was 68.4%; and there was a significant influence of teachers’ working motivation, teachers’ communication and teachers’ commitment simultaneously toward Science teachers’ profesionalism which was 71.5%.

Abstract

Instructional strategy the main component on intruction processes as a way to affecting student in Better learning process. There are a variety of strategy that a teacher may select depending on his/her need and the students’ condition. In the present study, the strategy used were problem besad learninf as the independent variable, the cognitive st as the moderating variable, and the learning outcome as the dependent variable. The study was aimed to examine: (1) the effect of differences in learning outcome between problem based learning with direct intruction in the teaching development of learners; (2) the differences influence learning as cognitive style; (3) the interaction between intruction strategy and cognitive style on learning outcomes. This study applied quasi-experiment using 2x2 factorial desing, sampel was 75 student. The instrument to measure the students’ learning outcome was an achievement test, while the one to measure the students’ individual cognitve style was an cognitve style questionnaire. The data collected in the study were post-test scores that were analyzed by inferential statistics in order to identify the significance of difference from the data of each group. The research result showed that 1) learning outcomes of students’ group problem based learning strategy significantly differences than direct instruction grup,  2) there was significant  difference in learning outcomes students of  field dependence cognitive style and field independence cognitive style, 3) there was significant interaction betwen instuction strategy and cognitive style toward learning outcomes of the students. Based on the Research results , it is suggested 1) to apply problem based learning as one of the intruction strategies in development of learners subject, 2) lecturers Seed to pay attention to student’ cognitive style before implementing instruction strategy.

Abstract

Development of community forest with agroforestry system is in compliance with forestry implementation, by considering aspiration and participation of community. The study was conducted by using survey method at study site and closed interview with key informans, i,e: farmer, community leader, NGO, decision maker in the village. The result of study showed that community forest might be have high potency to be developed based on the large area of degradated by planting local trees in agroforestry system. Therefore, forest should be sustained by planty local trees either in natural forest or in plantation by growing local trees in agroforestry system might increase the community income.

Abstract

This reseacrh is action-research which adapted from Wenning’s Model of Inquiry Lab (2005). The objective of this research is to describe the application of lesson plan to practice in SMK. The focus of the study is on the subject of motion and force of the motorcycle components. Application of the practice to be guided lesson plan described by using Riel’s action-research (2013). This research have a collaborative feature which is between the researcher with the relevant educator friends or source experts participated on the observation as the critical friend. The technique to collect of the datas include observations, interviews, tests and analysis of documents. The technique of data analysis in this research is descriptive analysis of comparative and critical analysis techniques. The results showed that enforceability of lesson plan (RPP) in cycle 1 is enough category, cycle 2 is good category and cycle 3 is very good category. The aspects of attitude assessment cycle 1 is enough category, cycle 2 is enough category and cycle 3 good category. Aspects of skills and completeness portfolio cycle 1 is not good enough category, cycle 2 is enough category and cycle 3 enough category. The description of the practicum activities goes well according to procedures on the practicum module and the students were able to find the concept based on the practicum activities. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that the prepartion, implementation and the factor is influential in implementing the lesson plan practice on the subject of motion and force of the motorcycle components in SMK implemented as planned with good results.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of production inputs (land, seed, fertilizer and labor) towards production of Shallot, the level of technical efficiency of farming Shallots and socioeconomic factors influence the level of technical efficiency Onion farm in the village of the District Guntarano Tanantovea Donggala. The research location is determined intentionally (purposive), with the consideration that that village is a center Guntarano onion production in Sub Tanantovea Donggala. Results of analysis in this study shows that the vast land, seed, fertilizer urea, fertilizer KCL, ZA fertilizer, organic fertilizer, and labor significantly affect production or variable (Y) with the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.848 indicates that the variation factors of production onion (Y) can be explained by all the variables (Xi) of 84.8%, while 15.2% were caused by other factors not included in the model. Technical efficiency values obtained in this study amounted to 0.897, which means that it takes the addition of a good use of production inputs as well as social and economic factors. Social and economic factors also affect the production of onion in the village Guntarano (age of respondent, to farm experience, education level, frequency of follow agricultural extension, and the number of family dependents) to the onion production generated by the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.510 indicates that the variation onion production factor (Y) can be explained by all the variables (Xi) amounted to 51.0%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the dfferences between motivation and learning outcomes of the students who get STAD learning model and conventional learning on Biology lesson of the Ten grade students of SMK 2 Banawa. The sample consisted of 64 students in two groups: 32 students as the experimental group and 32 students as the control group. The data were drawn from questionnaires, tests, and observation of teachers and students as well as record of events. The primary data were taken from the questionnaire and written test. The questionnaire  was  used  to  get  the  students’ motivation and the  test  was  used  to  assess  the  students’  learning  outcomes.  The observation sheets, record of events and interview guide were used to get supporting data. The primary data were analyzed by using N-gain test of pre-test and post-test. The significance was deterinined by using t-test of the two independent samples. The experimental and control groups were divided into upper, middle and bottom based on the pre-test and each group was determined by the N-gain learning aoutcomes. It was found that the middle group of the experimental class obtained the highest N-gain while the lower group of the control class obtained the highest N- gain. Based on the  result  of  the t-test using a significance of 0.05 for  Df = 62, it  is  concluded  that  1) there is a significant difference of motivation between the  students who got STAD learning  and  those who had conventional learning, 2) there is a significant difference of learning outcomes between the students who  got  STAD  learning  and  those  who had conventional learning.

Abstract

The aimof the research was to study about the influence of tomato lycopene concentrates and stronge duration on chemical quality and organoleptic of jerked yellowstripe scad. Storage durations used for the exsperiments were 0,2,4 and 6 weeks, and licopene concentratious were 0,10,20,30,40 and 50%. Quality of the jerked yellowstripe scad oserved were colour, tenderuess, flavor and founduess. Preokside numbers, water content, fat content and licopene werw characterized to obtain its nutritious values. Laboratory results showed that for 6 weeks storage had peroxide number 30,03 mg and the best addition of licopene 0% around 18,13 mg. Water content with 6 week sorage was 23,81 mg and the best licopene 50% addition was 23,33 mg, the best fat content of 0 week sorage was 6 mg and the highest licopene addition of 0% was 5, 56 mg, the highest licopene level with 0 week storage was 0,09 mg and addition of storage duration and licopene addition sufluenced scores of colour and tenderuess; but those did not affect scores of flavor and founuess. Mostly pauclists scored the jerked yellowstripe scad that was the most preferred from the side of colour (score 3,37) for the L2 sampels. Tenderuess of the jerked fish with the best licopene addition was 3,93 for the L3 samples. The flavor with licopene addition was found 3,77 for the L2 samples. Founduess for the jerked fish licopene addition was 3,12 for the L5 samples.

Abstract

Research on application of  Cooperative Model STAD type with helped elearning and wingeom application at math has been done in class X SMA Negeri 1 Palu. This study aims to determine differences in learning outcomes, interest and motivation to learn  about  a distance of a point to the plane material  by using a model of  STAD cooperative  with helped elearning and wingeom applications. The research sample of 56 students, which is divided into an experimental group were 21 students that the class X MIA 1 and 35 students as a second experimental class, class X MIA 3, which is determined by simple random sampling technique. The method used in this study is a quasi-experiment with intact-group comparison design. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis (t-test of two parties, one way anova and two ways anova). The results showed that there were differences in learning outcomes, interest and motivation as a result of the second treatment using with elearning and applications wingeom. This is supported by the results of data analysis showed that the differences in learning outcomes and motivation can be viewed by one factor.The conclusion of this study there are differences in learning outcomes and student motivation as a result of treatment STAD model aided elearning and wingeom applications. But for interest there is no difference.

Abstract

Sabang Tende Waters is one of the tourist sites and is often visited by tourists. So seagrass will be undergoing environmental degradation and presentation tutupannya also continues to munurun. There are several factors which led to pressure on the field tour, number of seagrass nearly 200 people every week so in monthly can reach 800 people. Therefore the condition of Sabang Tende as the location of the utilization of nautical tourism will experience pressure on ecosystems seagrass research needs to be done, then the profile of seagrass ecosystems as one indicator of the health of the coast. Exploiting the potential of the coast can improve the welfare of coastal communities, but in the absence of sustainable management, it will reduce the function of the coast. This research aim 1). Identify the types of seagrass, density, density and type of closure of seagrass in waters Sabang Tende., 2). It examines the factors that influence Community characteristics, composition, density, and distribution of seagrass in waters Sabang Tende., 3). Analyzing the public perception about the role/benefits of ecosystem health indicators as seagrass in waters across the coast Tende. Research using the method of observation, interview, koesioner, and biophysical surveys. Research results showed the kind of density on the station I namely 27.5 ind/12m2stasiun II: 12m2 ind/42, station III: 36.9 ind/12m2. Based on the results of the research conducted in the third observation station, the number and type of seagrass found different (not always the same), i.e. the most types found on the station I (natural zones) as much as 4 types, while on station II (residential zone) as 6 types, and III (zone tourist resort) is only found 5 types of seagrass. The physical and chemical conditions on the the station I, II, and III 7 pH, salinity of 30 0/00, while the II, III have a range of 320/00 and it shows that the percentage 48.8 % said that seagrass beds that is in sabang tende in stir by a tourist who is visiting and 29 % of respondents said that seagrass beds that is in sabang tende having the condition seagrass beds good.
