Abstract

travel experience on tourist loyalty.Method – This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through questionnaires from 125 tourists who had visited Tangkahan at least twice. The respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument used a five-point Likert scale and was subjected to validity and reliability testing. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statist\ics version 25.Findings – The results show that service quality, destination image, and travel experience have a positive and significant effect on tourist loyalty. In contrast, social media use does not have a significant direct effect on tourist loyalty. These findings indicate that tourist loyalty is more closely associated with tourists’ evaluations of service quality, perceptions of the destination, and actual experiences gained during their visits than with the intensity of social media use.Originality (Novelty) – The novelty of this study lies in integrating functional, perceptual, digital, and experiential aspects into a single model to explain tourist loyalty in the context of conservation-based ecotourism. This study also provides empirical evidence that social media use is not necessarily a direct determinant of tourist loyalty.Implications – Theoretically, this study contributes to the tourism marketing literature by integrating service quality, destination image, social media use, and travel experience as factors influencing tourist loyalty. Practically, the findings provide a basis for destination managers to prioritize service quality improvement, strengthen destination image, and create meaningful travel experiences, while optimizing social media as a supporting tool for communication and marketing.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPurpose – This study aims to analyze the effects of product quality, price perception, and promotion on consumers’ purchasing decisions for Kopi Kenangan products in Jakarta.Methodology – This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey design. Data were collected through an online questionnaire administered to consumers who had previously purchased Kopi Kenangan products. A total of 96 responses were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.Findings – The results indicate that product quality, price perception, and promotion have positive and significant effects on purchasing decisions. Product quality has a path coefficient of 0.302, price perception 0.247, and promotion 0.365. The R² value of 0.673 indicates that the three variables collectively explain 67.3% of the variance in purchasing decisions. Promotion has the strongest effect on purchasing decisions compared with product quality and price perception.Originality/Novelty – The novelty of this study lies in identifying the most dominant factor influencing consumers’ purchasing decisions for Kopi Kenangan in Jakarta through the simultaneous examination of product quality, price perception, and promotion. The findings demonstrate that promotion has the strongest influence among the three factors.Implications – The findings imply that Kopi Kenangan should maintain product quality and ensure that prices are consistent with consumers’ perceived value, while prioritizing relevant and targeted promotional strategies.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the growth–profitability trade-off in the post-IPO financial performance of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk during the period 2022–2024.Methodology – This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach with time-series analysis, using secondary data derived from the company's consolidated annual reports. Growth is measured through revenue and revenue growth, while profitability is assessed using Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Adjusted EBITDA.Findings – The findings reveal that revenue grew consistently from Rp11.3 trillion (2022) to Rp15.9 trillion (2024), while revenue growth decelerated from 120.1% to 7.5% over the same period. Profitability indicators remained negative throughout 2022–2023, yet demonstrated significant improvement in 2024, marked by the first positive Adjusted EBITDA of Rp0.39 trillion. The analysis identifies a dynamic, three-phase trade-off pattern: a sacrifice phase (2022), a cleansing phase (2023), and a harvesting phase (2024).Originality/Novelty – This study introduces a three-phase analytical framework (sacrifice–cleansing–harvesting) as a novel approach to mapping the dynamics of the growth–profitability trade-off in post-IPO digital platform companies. Unlike prior studies that generally compare pre- and post-IPO financial performance in aggregate terms, this research explicitly identifies the distinct character of each phase and explains why the relationship between growth and profitability is non-linear, temporal, and convergent—rather than a static, mutually exclusive condition.Implications – These findings confirm that the relationship between growth and profitability is non-linear and phase-dependent, consistent with Kenney and Zysman's (2020) platform economy proposition, and indicate that GoTo is transitioning toward sustainable profitability.
