Abstract

This study aims to produce and describe the process of prototyping student worksheets using the 5E model in the SPLDV material to improve valid, practical and effective written mathematical communication skills of students of class VIII SMP. This type of research is development research that focuses on product development, namely LKS. The indicator of written mathematical communication skills in this study consists of four things, namely 1) students write mathematical ideas using mathematical language clearly so that they can be understood by others 2) students can write down the reasons for the answers given 3) students understand other people's thoughts by being able to restate other people's ideas in written form with their own sentences 4) students write down their responses (criticism and suggestions) to other people's ideas. The learning model used to make this worksheet is the 5E model which includes five phases, namely: engage, explore, explain, elaborate and evaluate. While the research model used is the Plomp research model which consists of three stages, namely preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The results of this study are in the form of a 5E model worksheet which has quality in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. In terms of validity, this worksheet is valid, namely in the good category. In terms of practicality, this worksheet is practical with the category of very good practicality. As for effectiveness, this LKS was effective with good effectiveness category.

Abstract

The aims of this paper try to discuss and present various theoretical perspectives of discursive phenomena, in specific the different research techniques widely known as, as well as the theories. Having presented the main assumptions of the approach the paper, then discusses and analyze discursive interactions’ phenomena, technologically mediated interaction or face-to-face. By concentrating on the pragmatic aspects of discourse, an ethnomethodologically approach of discourse analysis, this paper may contribute important ideas and information in media interaction studies.

Abstract

This study aims to determain the ability of SAVI approach effect  to ability of activity in matemathical learning in class X SMAN 1 Ampek Angkek. The study was a pre-experimental whit the one shot case study design. The subjects of this rearch were students in class X SMAN 1 Ampek Angkek. The research subjecthe results are given treatment that is making a learning Cycle whit  SAVI approach on the learning process. The data of this research obtained  in the from of value the abilty to make learning Cycle whit  SAVI approach, the value of ability to activity in matemathical learning in class X SMAN 1 Ampek Angkek. The research is a correlational research. The population of this study were all students of class X SMA N 1 Ampek Angkek. The data were analiyzed by regression analysis. The results show that there is an influence of activity-based learning students  = 47.19 + 1.284 X, and determination R2 = 41,7 %. This means, 41,7 % of the total variation in the ability of activity based learning students.
