Abstract

The aim of this research was to investigate the Soyben varieties that  damage inferior relative. This research utilize agglomerate Random Design (RACK) Factorial is with 2 factor those are analyzed which is N.viridula amount factor( K ), varietas's type factor (V ).  Conduct that at quiz as follows for N. viridula amount( K) and varietas's type( V ) by following conduct combines: KoV1= 0 / anjasmoro, K1V1 = 3 number / anjasmoro, K2V1 = 6 number / anjasmoro, K3V1 = 9 number / anjasmoro, and KoV2= 0 / grobongan, K1V2 = 3 number / grobongan, K2V2 = 6 number / grobongan, K3V2 = 9 number / grobongan, KoV3= 0 / kaba, K1V3 = 3 number / kaba,K2V3 = 6 number / kaba,  K3V3 = 9 number / kaba. Result observationaling to point out that supreme attack intensity N. Viridula available on varietas kaba which is as big as 6,17 % and bottom most on varietas anjasmoro which is as big as 5,56%. Application of  N. Viridula as much 9 number evoke highest attack intensity which is as big as 11,33%. Usufruct supreme Soybean on varietas anjasmoro without application N. Abstract

The study was conducted to identify broad scale conversion of paddy fields, examines the impact of the wetland conversion to rice production, and study the extent to which the efforts that have been undertaken by the government to control the amount of wetland conversion. This study was conducted in North Labuhanbatu District, North Sumatra Province, a distance of ± 300 km from the city of Medan. The experiment was conducted in July and August 2012, with 3 stages, namely: ( 1 ) Survey location, ( 2 ). Collecting data on the number of rice paddy fields which have been reduced, and ( 3 ) the data collection needs of food / rice North Labuhanbatu district community. The results showed crop acreage for the year 2010 - 2011 experienced a reduction of 5,044 Ha. For the amount of rice production in 2010 amounted to 189 871 tonnes , while in 2011 to 178 855 tonnes. Total rice production in North Labuhanbatu period of  years experienced a reduction of 11.016 tons ( 5,728 tons of rice ). Rice needs of individuals in North Labuhanbatu by 118 kg / soul / year. With a population of 338 701 people then the rice needs of 39022.72 tons / year. This means that despite a decline in production due to conversion, Labuhanbatu communities still do not have a shortage of rice. But if this continues and nothing is done prevention, it would be a serious problem for food security in North Labuhanbatu.Keywords: conversion of paddy fields, palm oil, rice availabilit

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of different concentrations of yeast in making tempeh from seed karet.Rancangan completely randomized (CRD) was used with two (2) yeast replication factor I concentrations (K) comprises 4 levels, yaituK1 = 0.2%, K2 = 0.4%, 0.6% = K3, and K4 = 0.8%. factor of 2 long fermentation (L) comprises 4 levels ie L1 = 12 hours = 24 hours L2, L3 = 36jam, L4 = 48 hours. The concentration of yeast members very real effect on carbohydrate carbohydrates where K1 is the highest at 8.850% was the highest carbohydrate fermentation contained in L1 is 8.360%. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of time and temperature on the quality of the resulting starch avocado seed. This study used a completely randomized factorial design with two replications. Temperature factor with four level 1: S1: 40 0C, S2: 50 0C, S3: 60 0C and S4: 70 0C. Factor 2 time four levels ie: W1: 6 hours, W2: 7 hours, W3: 8 hours and W4: 9 hours. The results showed the temperature and the W1 S1 shows a very different effect on yield, moisture content, carbohydrate content and color. However, the interaction effect of treatment showed no significant difference. The results showed the temperature and drying time gives a very real effect on yield, moisture content, carbohydrates, and starches avocado color.Keywords: avocado seed, Persea Americana Mill, starch

Abstract

Research of the effect of cow manure and fertilizer on the growth and production ABG cucumber has been conducted on Tuar street, in the field trials of Agriculture  Faculty, University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara street Tuar , District of Amplas  with altitude of 27 meters above sea level with a factorial randomized block design ( RAK - F ) with two treatment factors studied were Granting Manure factor ( K ) which consists of four levels, namely : K0 , K1 , K2 , K3 and Fertilizer factors Giving ABG ( A ) which consists of four levels, namely : A0 , A1 , A2 , A3 . Cow manure treatment showed significant effect on the length of the plant , harvest , fruit length , fruit diameter , fruit weight per plant but did not show a marked influence on the observation of the number of fruits per plant . ABG fertilizer treatment showed significant effect on the length of the plant , fruit length , fruit diameter , fruit weight per plant but showed no significant effect on harvest age and number of fruits per plant . Interaction between cow manure and fertilizer ABG showed a significant effect on plant length , fruit length , fruit diameter , fruit weight per plant , harvest , number of fruits per plant .Keywords : cow manure , fertilizer ABG , growth , production , cucumber

Abstract

The objective of research was to determinate of growth and production of Soja max (Glycine max L.) with provision sludge oil palm andorganic liquid manure. This research was conducted using Randomized Design Group (RAK) factorial with two factors, namely : sludge (S) which consist of three extent that to S0 = Without Giving, S1 = 2,5 kg/plot, and S2 = 5 kg/plot. Abstract

This study aims to find ways of making nata with a comparison of sugar and a long fermentation on the quality of nata de banana skin. This study uses a complete Randomized Design (CRD) factorial. The results of statistical analysis on each parameter: The amount of sugar and a long fermentation differ very real effect on yield. The number of long fermentation guladan different effect not significant (p> 0.05) on pH. Number of different sugars affect highly significant (p <0.01) to the TSS. The amount of sugar and a long fermentation different effect highly significant (p <0.01) of thickness. Treatment interaction effect is not significant (p> 0.05) of thickness. The amount of sugar and a long fermentation influence erbeda highly significant (p <0.01) against violence. Treatment interaction effect is not significant (p> 0.05) to violence. The amount of sugar and a long fermentation influence not differ significantly (p> 0.05) for color. Abstract

Research on the role of sea production diversification to increase of fisherman’s revenues has been conducted, four factors were studied, namely sea mileage, capital, number of diversification, and experience . The study was conducted by using the case study method, by taking a sample of 30 fishermen . Determination of fishermen sampled using stratified random sampling method . To test the hypothesis of the research carried out by using different test average , Regression Analysis , calculated F test , and descriptive analysis . Simultaneously there is a real effect of the distance between the sea , the capital , and the experience of the non- fishing income diversification . Partially, there is no real effect of capital to non- fishing income diversification on the 95% confidence level . In the distance the sea is no real effect of t - calculated value 2.199 > 2.144 and the t - table experience also significantly affect the level of income with indigo 11.865 t count > t - table 2.144 at 95% confidence level . From the test results with the t test , t-test values obtained for mileage at sea is -0.8739 < 2.144 t - table at the 95% confidence level . Capital value of the t test for values obtained 3.7010 t count > t - table 2.144 at 95% confidence level . T test values , for diversification is 109.8938 > t - table 2.144 at 95% confidence level . The results of testing with the t test for the level of experience of the results obtained t - value of -1.0076 count > 2,144 t - table .Keywords : diversification , production , catches , revenues , fishermen

Abstract

The first aim of this study was to determine the effect of SL - PTT programe ( improved varieties, seed quality, seeding, tillage, planting, watering later, fertilizing, weed control in an integrated, pest and disease control in an integrated , harvest and post- harvest ) to the increase in production rice; both to know the difference before and after the rice production program SLPTT. The population in this study were all farmers who participate in the program the SL - PTT rice growing season in 2012 ( approximately 300 farmers in the district Percut Sei Tuan ). The sample is a portion of the population that is considered to have a number of desirable characteristics with 20-25 % of the population so that 50 samples are drawn at random. Data analysis techniques used method of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and Test average difference. Statistically Test results obtained multiple R value of 0.99 and an F - count 1034,281> F - 2:49 table at 95% confidence level ( α = 0.05 ), in the sense that there is a significant effect. In Partial test, the best variety (X1)  Seed treatment only grade ( X2 ) and Planting ( X5 ) is significant while the other variables are not significant. Abstract

This research to know the influence of various a dose of irradiasi gamma rays against viabilitas and vigoritas seeds and to knows the difference the growth of seedlings of the paddy resulting from irradiasi gamma rays in the seddbed. The research done on October to December 2011 in Kebun Percobaan the faculty of agriculture UMSU in Jln. Tuar Kelurahan Medan Amplas, Kecamatan Denai, Kotamadya Medan.  The research using random complete non factorials consist of three different levels of  dose  irradiasi (D) ie: D0= 0 Gy (kontrol),  D1= 100 Gy, D2  = 200 Gy, D3= 300 Gy, D4= 400 Gy, D5= 500 Gy. Irradiasi gamma rays on seeds cause a decrease in viabilitas and vigoritas paddy seeds. A dose irradiasi gamma rays 500 Gy cause the lowest of viabilitas and vigoritas seed of all treatment.Keyword: Irradiation gamma rays, doses, viability, vigority, seed.
