Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to map the opportunities of the Madrasah Diniyah inPalopo City, specially for institutional development context andanalyzing the challenges faced in realizing the ideal Madrasah Diniyahafter regional autonomy. This research is a qualitative descriptive. Ourcesof data are obtained from interviews, observation and documentation.Madrasah Diniyah development opportunities in Palopo supported bythe Center Education Qur’an that can be developed into a better madra-sah diniyah. Other opportunities dimension is the establishment of religionby the government of Palopo as the direction of development in Palopo.Challenges faced: first, the means and inadequate infrastructures. Secondly,there is no central figure. Third, public support is not maximized. Fourth,there has been no serious attention from the goverment. Fifth: the peoplehave felt confortable  with the Center of Quran Education.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan peluang yang dimilikimadrasah diniyah di Kota Palopo, khususnya dalam konteks pengem-bangan kelembagaan dan menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi dalammewujudkan madrasah diniyah yang ideal pasca otonomi daerah. Jenispenelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data diperoleh dariwawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Peluang pengembangan lem-baga madrasah diniyah didukung oleh adanya sejumlah Taman Pen-didikan al-Qur’an (TPA) yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi madrasahdiniyah yang lebih baik. Selain itu, penetapan dimensi religi sebagaisalahsatu arah pembangunan Kota Palopo. Tantangan yang dihadapi,pertama: sarana dan prasarana tidak memakai. Kedua, tidak ada tokohpenggerak. Ketiga, dukungan masyarakat tidak signifikan. Keempat: tidak perhatian serius dari Pemerintah Kota. Kelima, masyarakat merasacukup dengan adanya TPA (Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an)

Abstract

AbstractPesantren is a unique instrument of Indonesian educational system.Environmental adaptations enhance pesantren to modify institutionalchange and development. Therefore, this research will explore howpesantren widen the curriculum in term of enterprenurship. This studywas conducted in pesantren Roudhotul Khuffadz. It is located in Sorong,West Papua province, eastern part of Indonesia. In depth-interview andnon participant observation were attended in collecting data. In term ofefforts to identify data validity, the research was extended from threemonths to six months. The study shows that the pesantren RoudhotulKhuffadz was presented many examinations and discussion in developingits curriculum. In addition, they decided to empower curriculum withentrepreneurship aspects. This decision was concluded to extend localneeds and students skills in enlarging their opportunities after schoolage. Finally, this study recommends identifying socio-cultural inpesantren environment in order to understand curriculum improvement.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are intended to measure the influence of education, Training and counseling simultaneously to the member participation of Koperasi Pondok Pesantren (Koppontren). Qualitative method was applied with the cross-section model. In organizing 320 person of respondent the writer applied multistage random sampling and each variable were measured with linear programming. Finally the finding of the research shows that education, training, and counseling simultaneously influence the members of Koppotren in Tulungagung regency.

Abstract

This research aims at  producing a Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) software Islamic religion education subject (CAT PAI) for the year 7 students of public junior high schoo and  to see the results of CAT software in making rekam medik pembelajaran (RMP) to diagnose student’s ability. This research used the research and development approach. The data was collected by doing observation and documentation. Analyzedto use quantitative descriptive technique. The findings of the research shows the CAT can be developed web-based, and The CAT is able to in estimating student’s ability correct be seen RMP. Overall, the CAT software can perform the tasks well in order to select test items and to measure student’s ability from correlation value between ability estimation result (è) in CAT with  Islamic religious education subjects enough tall that is 0,69.

Abstract

The problems on this research are: (1) How is the Islamic Religious Teacher characteristic of SMA/SMK in Magelang? (2) How is the professional competence of Islamic Religious Teacher of SMA/SMK in Magelang? (3) What factors influence the Islamic Religious Teacher professional competence of SMA/SMK in Magelang? This research was applying qualitative method by developing etno-methodology model. The subject of the research was Islamic Religious Teacher in 11 different SMA/SMK. Observation and interview was applied to collect the data. The finding of the research showed that: 1) from 11 teachers, ten are graduated from Islamic teacher education and one from Syariah. They have more than ten year experiences in teaching. 2) They all have religious, social, and professional religious background. 3) The dominant factor influences their professional competence is on teaching experiences and motivation on doing their job.

Abstract

This study aims at finding out 1) the comprehensions of IslamicElementary School Teachers (MI) in Salatiga to inclusive education; 2) their perceptions; and 3) their attitudes to the inclusive education. This is a survey research. The primary data collection method used in this research was questionnaires, besides structural interviews. Based upon the calculation of the questionnaires, the writer found out that 1) the teachers’ comprehension to inclusive education is still low (88.1 %) and only 4.7 % feels having a little knowledge about it. In addition, 50.02 % have negative perceptions, and are only 21.46 % who have positive perceptions to it. Even though, 43.89 % have positive attitudes and 37.81 have negative attitudes to the inclusive education.

Abstract

This study is focused to know the implementation of Islamic Education informally held for prisoners in Surakarta Jail. Though the prisoners are marginal society, mental and spiritual education is an important thing to do. The data gathered through interviews, observations and documentations. This study held during the Fasting Month (Ramadhan) which may particularly brings certain impressions on the results. The study found out that there were Islamic Education informally held forprisoners consisted of Learning Al-Qur’an, memorizing the whole verses of Al-Qur’an, advices after dzuhur prayer, advices after ashar prayer, Isya and Tarawih prayers held together, advices after Tarawih, Reading Al-Qur’an together. The supporting factors for this agenda were the good cooperation between the  Surakarta Jail and other institutions. In the other hands, the drawbacks were the reluctant of prisoners in joining the agenda and the conflicting of the prisoners schedule.

Abstract

This research focuses on the existence of a non formal Islamic educational institution - Muawanatul Muslimin – run by the community in Kudus Regency, Central Java since 1915. Characteristics of the school are: founded and managed by the kyai; specific subjects; distinctive dress patterns; learning time adjusted to the conditions of students; qualified to continue formal higher education; male students only; flexible financial management; respect for educators; holiday on Friday; and simple learning tool. Constraints faced by madrasa are: afternoon learning time; government policies; no diploma certificates qualified for the formal employment; the proliferation of the number of madrasa diniyah in Kudus; extracurricular and additional hours in formal educational institutions. The last two were prioritized by students in formal educational institutions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is intended to determine the role of the IAIN Walisongo Semarang in encouraging the growth of sharia banking in Semarang. A descriptive qualitative method is applied in order to obtain data in this study through collecting and analyzing the related literature to this research. Moreover observation, interviews and secondary data on the development of Islamic banking from sharia banking statistic Indonesian Banking are caried out. The finding shows that the IAIN Walisongo Semarang has a role in encouraging the growth of sharia banking in Semarang through the development discourse and discipline of Islamic economics to open a graduate studies program of applied science of Islamic banking, the establishment of Islamic financial institutions BMT Walisongo, cases and the concept of derivation Development Sharia Banking, Products and Services, Socialization, and Human  Resource Competencies, Roles in providing competence human resources on Islamic banking, Development and Assistance to financing customers, dissemination of Islamic banking in the community, cooperation with agency of Sharia Financing, involvement of State Polytechnic of Semarang in Islamic banking in financing, and Encouraging society become customer of Islamic Banking. Finally the higher education institutions in Indonesia have an opportunity to meet the needs of Islamic banking industry through the activities of Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi, especially to help the business sectors to alleviate the problems derivation and translation of national rules of Islamic Banking, products and services, socialization, and human resource competencies.
