Student achievement can be regarded as indicators of the success of a learning process, which is a measure of success for teachers to conduct the necessary improvements. This study aimstodetermine the effect ofteaching methodthatis appliedandindependent learningon student achievement. The research method is quantitative by using multiple regression analysis. The respondents are students of class XII Madrasah Aliyah in Kudus, the number of sample is 187 students from 17 schools. The results of the study revealed that teachers’ teaching method and student learning independence affect learning achievement of 56.9%. Teacher’steaching style and student learning independence significant positive effect on learning achievement with a significance level less than 1%.

This research discuss the entrepreneurship models and its teaching strategy in Sidogiri Islamic boarding school Pasuruan through qualitative method. The finding shows that (1) entrepreneurship values are integrated as religious activities in which any economic activities is part it and intended for God; (2) under the control of boarding school head, the education proses on entrepreneurship is giving the student attempt to organized economic sector in the boarding school.

Acquiring writing skill needs a lot of practices, and to produce a piece of writing needs a long process; hence, the appropriate method of the teaching and learning is very important to help students master writing skill. This article aims at reporting a research on the implementation of Student Teams-Achievement Division (STAD) as an alternative teaching method to improve students’ writing skill. Through Classroom Action Research design, the researcher did the research at fourth semester students of English Education study program of STAIN Kediri in academic year 2012-1013. The research procedures are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The findings show that the implementation of STAD can improve the students’ writing skill which were indicated by the high percentage of the students’ active involvement and positive response on the implementation, and the students’ product of writing in which all of writing components can achieve good level in marking scheme as the minimum level.

This study was conducted to identify and analyze the external factors that can lead to opportunities and threats, as well as internal factors are the strengths and weaknesses for boarding, so we can know what strategies are suitable to appliedi schools in an effort to increase its presence as an Islamic educational institutions in the environment conditions that have changed into modern one. The focus of research is the development strategy of boarding school in an effort to maintain its existence as educational institutions in the era of globalization. This type of research is qualitative research. Data analysis methods used are: a qualitative analysis, which is a series of activities to analyze the data in the study objects that are not expressed in the figures using SWOT analysis. Research results indicate that the development of appropriate strategies to be implemented in the pesantren of Banyuwangi regency there are :1) development of Islamic educational institutions there are two, namely:consistent and adaptive, 2) renewal of pesantren management by application of professional management, 3) improving resource there are namely: enhancement of human resources and improvement of Natural Resources.

The aim of this research was to find out (1) the category of worship performing autonomy (2) the difference of worship performing autonomy based on gender and previous school of student; (3) the correlation between age and the degree of worship performing autonomy The data are collected using questionnaire were involved 100 SMA UII student. The mutli stage sampling that is quota stratified proportional random sampling was used as the sampling technique. Desciptif statistic, T test, product moment correlation from Pearson and Two ways theanalaysis of variance are used as the data analysis technique through SPSS for windows program The result of the several analysis towards the data yields several conclusions (1) most of the SMA UII student were in businessman category of worship performing; (2) there is no difference autonomy of worship performing student based on gender and previous school of SMA UII student; (3) there is no correlation of worship performing between ages and the degreeof worship performing category

Art in the religious point of view is as a symbols of human in which expressive and constructive based on their believe. In Islam and Catholic the symbol itself is abstract that fit to sociocultural and reflecting their believe. More over in constructing expressive symbols will make them more concern on their believe. The existance of art in Islam and Catholic is such an unity among religious experience and art itself. An expression of art in Islam is a fitrah (gift) for human as a media in linking to Allah, but in Christian art is such praise and gratitude.

The purpose of this research is finding the correlation between authoritative teaching and empathy toward bullying in the students of SMP Muhammadiyah in Salatiga. The subjects of this research are among 115 students of the third grade. The finding shows that there is a positive correlation among authoritative teaching and empathy toward bullying.

This quantitative research is intended as part of alternative solution for the Hajj at Masjid Istiqomah Ungaran in 2013. The research is focused on the technique on how to make the Hajj tobe self-reliance. Observation and interview are the technique on collecting the data through inductive approach. The finding shows (1) being self-reliance for the Hajj on religious activities and travel are not individual but collective; (2) improving one self-reliance not only require one but also collaborative teaching technique. (3)this collaborative technique will be effective when there is a support from the participant with different educational backgroundand the organizer who knows the participant as an adult.

The Purpose of this research is to describe the concept of syari’ah economics as a comprehensive learning model for student in Surabaya state university majoring in to be economics education, to be able to describe, connect with reality or phenomena and interpret the solutions of the phenomenon that exist in the community based on syari’ah economy. The method that used in this research is descriptive research method that describes the result of the research which obtained from the respondents and field observations both from primary and secondary data. The finding in this research indicate that understanding of the Islamic economismaterial given by using direct instructional model is still less than the standard of competencespecified, therefore it is necessary efforts to increase the understanding material through appropriate learning model in this study is a CTL (Contectual Teaching Learning)

This research is intended to discuss the influence of poverty toward children learning motivation and explain the relation among motivation toward academic achievement in poor family in Langsa. Quantitative methodbeing applied on this research shows that the influence of poverty towards student academic achievement tends to be solid, so that the students education level are influenced by their family economic background. Moreover this condition will also influence the student learning motivation. Finally, the family with poverty tend to ignore their children education due to their daily needs is more important than thir children education
