Abstract

The substation has a great possibility of experiencing a hazard caused by the disturbance of lightning and overcurrent so that the current disturbance flows to the ground as a result of the insulation of equipment that is not functioning properly. One of the security systems on the substation is grounding. The grounding system is a delivery system that connects the system, equipment and installation bodies with the earth / ground so as to secure the human from electric shock, and secure the installation components from the dangers of abnormal voltage / currents. Therefore, research is conducted with respect to the grid earthing system on the Switchfield Substation (GI) switchyard. The research applies some data retrieval methods, namely: Literature study method, covering the studying literature related to earth system in switchyard area of 150 kV Bantul, and litrature related to earth type resistance calculation, soil type resistance, type of system earth, and type of electrode used. Based on the result of the analysis of the value of ground grid of Substation in Bantul is 0,527 Ohm. Or the difference in value of 0.043 Ohm or 7.54% smaller than the measurement value of 0.57 Ohm. Touch tension value of 207.5 Volts for people weighing 70kg, and 153.3V for weight 50Kg. with the actual maximum touch voltage value of 261.53 Volts. The step voltage value of 288.7 Volts for people weighing 70kg, and 213.3V for weight 50Kg. with an actual maximum step voltage value of 857.4 Volts.

Abstract

Architecture enterprise in the current have an important role and Very broad one of them is in the colleges. Colleges consider the importance of Architecture enterprise for align information technology with business processes in academic information systems. The use of architecture enterprise is needed to be used as guidelines and reference a model that can be used a long period of time consistent with the needs and can be used optimally. Research take a portrait the use of architecture enterprise from three colleges is X University, Y University, and Y University. The data taken from interviews and surveys are processed into instruments. Instrument making still refers to previous research which resulted in 20 instruments, so that making it easier to measure four business architecture enterprise processes using TOGAF. Validation results using the process of explanatory statistics and speakers, so that the portrait utilization of architecture enterprise in college has an average of 2.60. Portrait utilization of architecture enterprise can be formulated into 3 research object that is application of architecture enterprise, influence of architecture enterprise, and business process of architecture enterprise which is documented to 3 universities, it can be concluded that enterprise architecture is almost always used for academic information system can be integrated well. But the academic information system that runs not all centralized into one, so that the documentation process isn’t well managed and when the University having trouble there arent guidelines that can be used as a reference when doing every action. Academic information system made currently is still used in the short period because the existing applications and infrastructure only in accordance with the needs.

Abstract

This study aims to know the difference through statistical analysis from two methods in determining content of ascorbic acid in tablet (brand CIPI). This experiment is done in twenty repetition. Each of two methods did twelve times. The mass of tablet CIPI is 2,0 gram. Shapiro-Wilk Normality Test shows that the value of spectrophotometry uv-vis is 0.9714 and the value of eudiometry is 0.08261. Both of them is bigger than 0,05. Based on statistical analysis, the both of methods have normal distribution. Then, Paired T-Test is applied. The result shows that hypothesis (Ho) is accepted. This means that two method have no real difference.

Abstract

This research is intended to know the effect of discontinuity on the mass of volcanic rock for rock slope stability. The study sites are located at Jelapan area and its surrounding, Pundong District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. With stability assessments of rock slopes, it can be used to identify potential disasters of rock mass movement, direction of movement and recommendations for disaster risk minimization. Analysis of the continuity on the mass of volcanic rock using rock mass classification of rock mass rating system (RMR) (Bieniawski, 1989). The data used are physical properties, index properties, mechanical properties, orientation of joint position and rock slope. The synthesis of data is done mainly on morphological data, stratigraphy, geological structure to know the control of geological condition on the stability of volcanic rock slope in research area.Based on the calculation of the rock mass classification of RMR, the cliff at 7°59’20,88” LS 110°19’19,09” BT is 28 which is considered poor. The RMR value is controlled by intensive joints that dominate with joint spacing less than 60 mm; the condition of the surface of the joint field is smooth and continuous, estrangement joint 1 - 5 mm, slightly weathered with a value RQD 43.37%. Rock mass that collapses and landslides are lava and andesite breccia. The rock fall occurs following the slope of the planar plane of the platy joint structure and the rock contact N170°E/32°. It is interpreted by the initial stress control with high anisotropic stress at the edge of the slope.

Abstract

This paper discusses about Enterprise Architecture (EA) implementation readiness measurement model. The definition of EA is a framework or blueprint that used by organization to achieve business objectives by identifying key strategies of business, information, applications, and technology and its impact on business functions. Measuring the readiness of EA implementation on an institution is useful to reduce potential losses due to EA implementation failures. By identifying the factors supporting the successful implementation of EA, an EA implementation readiness measurement model can be formulated and can be used as a reference to know the readiness of an institution in the implementation of EA.

Abstract

Mass movement is one of hazard in Indonesia that have significant impact in Indonesia. This hazard caused by Indonesia represent have wet tropik, so that chemical weathering intensive and formed thick soil. Its improve the happening of crisis to this hazard, because material strength will decrease. District of Kalibawang, Kulon Progo morphologicaly have a lot precipitous slope and mount intensive weathering. This condition constituing study concerning slope stability. Method which used in this analysis is slice method with approach of calculation of made moderate Bishop. This method weared many in analysis stability of slope because besides modestly, this method enough is accurate. Than analysis slope stability of some obtained chosen slope have value between 3.378 (stable) until 1.052 is ( labile / critical)

Abstract

Energy consumption in Indonesia has increased, specifically in the industrial and the household sector. Based on EDSM’s 2013 report, industrial sector is the largest of energy consumption 33%, the household sector 27% and the transport sector 27%. While the commercial sector for raw materials 10%. Supporting the development of renewable energy, specifically for solar energy conversion into electricity, it takes a learning tool as an observation of this energy use. For the society, to escalate practical knowledge of solar cells and panels trainer is required to test and experiment as a medium of learning in the academic theoretically to explore the potential of renewable energy. With observations and tests performed on the Solar Electricity Trainer as a medium of learning, capable to improve knowledge in theoretically and experimentally. Based on pretest with the participants called praktikan, with an increase of 47.9%. The result of solar cell test show that accuracy percentage average is 98.37% and the efficiency of the solar charger control reaches 84% for charging the battery by solar cell module.

Abstract

The average temperature of global warming on the earths surface today has increased by 0.74 ± 0:18°C, the increase was due to the increase in the average temperature of the atmosphere, ocean and land earth. Emissions of the most influential on the quality of the air is carbon emissions, especially carbon dioxide (CO2). The CO2 contributes to global warming is 50%. The CO2 gases absorb and reflect radiation emitted waves of the earth, so that the heat will be stored on the surface of the earth. This study aimed to design a data logger system monitoring the level of concentration of CO2 using the oxygen sensor (OOM202), carbon dioxide sensor (MG81), as well as temperature and humidity sensors (DHT22) with microcontroller-based SMS gateway information. The study tested are simulated in the laboratory with electronic testing and testing communication systems. The test results showed good performance with the prototype, the results of monitoring CO2 emissions seen huge levels of carbon dioxide (ppm) is proportional to the output voltage (Vout) is generated. The greater the concentration levels of gas detected by the sensor, the output voltage generated will be greater, than that difference or distinction ADC output between the measured and calculated because of several errors, such as error output ADC ± 2 bits, error rounding conversion of ADC to volt. The measurement results are different, in the closed and open area refers to the measurement parameters are displayed on an alphanumeric display. Measuring system can transmit data via SMS information system with an average response time of less than 1 minute, it depends on the quality of the signal and traffic data from a provider by the user.

Abstract

This paper represents a digital image encryption algorithm using a combination of hill cipher and chaos map algorithms. The hill cipher algorithm is one of the coding techniques by applying a square matrix as an encryption key. In this paper, the key matrix used is a 3x3 invertible matrix. While chaos map technique chosen is Logistic Map technique as a random number generator that will be used as keystream. Application of selective encryption techniques to MSB bits (Most Significant Bit) is also used to reduce computing by only performing operations on four major bits of each RGB pixel (Red, Green and Blue). To encrypt, an image is first mapped based on RGB color components (Red, Green and Blue) and then encrypted using a hill cipher key matrix. The encryption result on each RGB channel is then selected four bits MSB from each pixel and then XOR with keystream as a result from Logistic Map. Experimental results performed on multiple color images show that the image can be succesfully encrypted. It can be seen from the resulting histogram is flat on each RGB channel of the encrypted image, the average value of entropy is 7.99 and the correlation value is close to 0.
