Abstract

The background of the research is about ability of variation media which is not yet done with the real material at SMA PGRI 3 Padang. Variation media includes listener media, seeing media, audio visual media. The purpose of the research is 1) to express the ability of teacher uses variation media in teaching learning process at SMA PGRI 3 Padang. 2) to state challenge whatever the teacher is happened by using variation media in teaching learning process at SMA PGRI 3 Padang. Kinds of the research are about evaluative study with qualitative analysis where location at SMA PGRI 3 Padang. Meanwhile, informant in this research includes history teacher which is taught at class X and XII amount 2 persons. Some students and headmasters toward observation technique, interview, and documentation study using RPP. The data analysis is examined by using triangulation data and from data is collected and analyzed with interactive that are data collection, reduction data, showing data and conclusion. From the result of research show that 1) Variation media in teaching learning process is still low and almost does not use media at class. 2) Least the teachers’ understanding about function of media in lesson. 3) Least prepare the tools and things from the school and teacher which does not effort self media that is needed in teaching. Based the result of research can be concluded that 1) least the teachers’ understanding is about important of using media in teaching learning process especially history lesson. 2) There are not effort to search or make self media that is needed. 3) Least prepare something from school with media which is needed by the teacher in learning activity.

Abstract

This thesis discusses (1) How does the entry process and the implementation of the GreenRevolution in the Village Kemantan Kebalai years 1969-1998 and (2) What is the impact of theGreen Revolution on the lives of farmers in the village Kemantan Kebalai years 1969-1998. Thisstudy aims to explore and describe (1) the entry process and the implementation of the GreenRevolution in the Village Kemantan Kebalai years 1969-1998. (2) Impact of the Green Revolutionon the lives of farmers in the village Kemantan Kebalai years 1969-1998. This research includesthe study of history: (1) Heuristic, (2) Source critic, (3) Analysis and interpretation, (4)Historiography. Based on the results of research to the field that the Green Revolution wasintroduced to the people of the village Kemantan Kebalai 1972 by Mr. Udin Hasanuddin(Agricultural Extension Officer) and some community leaders such as village chief, Babinsa,police chief, and the sub-district. Early implementation Guidance programs face many obstacles,such as lack of interest of farmers to change traditional farming systems to more advancedfarming. PPL approximately ten years to convince villagers to accept Kemantan Kebalai Guidanceprogram. 1982 Guidance program has been started in the village received by most peopleKemantan Kebalai, society has begun to change the old agricultural systems to modern agriculture.This farming system changes impact on the socio-economic life of the community that is able toincrease incomes and improve the welfare of society. Other changes are perceived by thecommunity of social and cultural systems start to fade and the impact on the lives of thesurrounding environment.

Abstract

In learning historical the students just repeating the same things from elementary school until university level. Students attitudes about the teaching of history in the subject of History and the reaction of their seriousness for this subjects. Students have a positive attitude in history subjects if they know function of this subject. This research aims to describe and analyze, (1) students attitudes toward the teaching of history, class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Batang Anai, (2) the relationship of students attitudes toward teaching history to students learning outcomes SMA Negeri 1 Batang Anai in Semester academic year 2013/2014. Kind of research is ekspasfacto uses a quantitative approach to research site in SMA Negeri 1 Batang Anai.Samplingwere students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Batang Anai enrolled in the academic year 2013/2014 with 49 people. The data got through a questionnaire statement. Based on the results, research data with respect to the calculation of the level of achievement the respondents can be seen that for a confidence score of 67 was entered into the fair category, level of achievement with respect to feeling respondents obtained a score of 71 and entered into the fair category, to the level of achievement of the respondents with respect to the tendency obtained a score of 69 and entered into fair category, then overall attitude variable TCR (achievement Level Respondents) attitude score was 68.78 and put in a category less. The continiue with the testing of the relationship between students attitudes (X) on learning outcomes (Y) is the contribution parsentase students attitudes toward student learning outcomes by 24%. From the analysis of simple correlation (r) obtained correlation relationship students attitudes toward learning outcomes (r) is 0.485 whereas count (r) 0,281 tables. Based on this research hypothesis is zero (H0) is rejected it means there is a relationship between students attitudes to learning outcomes.

Abstract

In teaching and learning procces on of the most influence components the succes of education is The Material learning material is subject that give by teacher to the student during teaching and learning procces in school. Science material in history is fact, concept and principle, otherwise cognitive aspects including memory, comperhension, application, analyze, sintetic and evaluation. Bot in fact science material of history tested in the matter of the dominant aspect of thinking those tested are comperhension and memory, supposed to sciencis material of history including fact, concept and principle with the other cognitive aspects. The aim of this study is to analysing the overview of history matters is sciencis material of histroy and material at thinking aspect that include in tested matter in semester (summative). The kind of this study is quantitative descritive by study location at MAN in West Pasaman. As for the source data of this study is obtaining data it gained from related school at semester form in 2012/2013 school year, through the study of documents and interview techniques. This data will be processed by classify with percentage. From the result of this study, we know that overview if history matters those tested at MAN in West Pasaman regency more tested science material of principle and fact while concept is not so balanced in tested matters, as well the overview of the material that tested by thinking aspect a lot more comperhension and memory, while the other thinking aspect has not been tested in matter. Based on result of this study can be concluded that many test material tested are fact and principle, it coused of teacher’s lack of understanding about science material who not fully understand the material facts, principle and concept and teacher only understand with principle and fact material only. But in aspect of thinking it tested such as memory, comperhension, application, analise sintetic and evaluation and the most tested is memory aspect/aspect of memory. It caused teacher’s lack of understanding about thinking aspect, so teacher just ask material from thinking and comperhensiont aspect.

Abstract

The students’ low learning result can be caused by some factors, one of them are IPS lesson that still focus to teacher in order to they are bored, not important and does not motivate in learning. In briefly, the students do not understand the lesson at class. Giving cooperative learning model type Make A Match is hoped to improve the students’ activity result in IPS lesson of history material and develop the students’ learning result. The purpose of the research is to know the effect of using cooperative learning model in type Make A Match of history material toward students’ learning result at class VII SMP N 2 Luhak Nan Duo in odd semester year 2014/2015. This research is experiment research with Control Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Sample takes with random sampling that can be class VII2 as experiment class amount 26 students and VII3 as control class amount 27 students. The data collection in this research is primer data of the last score in objective test amount 29 tests. From both of sample class are chosen, then analysis by using t exam. If tcalculate > ttable. So hypothesis is accepted and otherwise. From the result of research is got tcalculate of 2.49 for all tests and 1.69 for fact test from ttable of 1.67 in free degree of 51. In briefly, tcalculate > ttable can be accepted with real score of 0.05. So, it can be concluded that giving cooperative learning model type Make A Match give positive effect in 0.05 score toward IPS lesson result of history education at class VII SMP Negeri 2 Luhak Nan Duo year 2014/2015.

Abstract

This research focusing on the pre-acti vities, core-activities  and closing­ activities while learning Sejarah subject in the learning process at SMA N 1 Pulau Punjung and SMA N 2 PuJau Punjung. This research aiming to describe the application of learning process according to permendiknas No. 41 in the sejarah subject to all SMA in Dharmasraya province . The method of this research are descriptive evaluative study with quantitative analysis at SMA N 1 Pulau Punjung and SMA N 2 Pulau Punjung as the site of research. The informan of this research are the headmasters, teachers and students trough the observation technique. Interview and documentation in forms of RPP. The validation of data tested by triangulasi data, the data that has been collected analyze with interactive model consist of data collection, data reduction, data serving and the summarization. Result of the research shows: the application of the pre-learning activities at the SMA N in Dharmasraya  has not been implicated maximally according to permendiknas No. 41, the theachers only checked the students attendance and doing apperception by repeating last meeting materials, the core-activities also has not been running  maximally according to the perme ndiknas No. 41, because teachers only explain the materials to the student and asking questions, and also the closing-activities in learning activities still has not been done effectively according to permendiknas No. 41 the teachers didnt give summary  about the material they have been learned, the teacher just asks the students to repeat their last materials and read their next materials at home and also there is no sufficient time for the Sejarah subject with lots of material s.

Abstract

Social science (IPS) integrated an integration of various disciplines, such as : sociology, history, geography, econiomics, polotics. Law and culture which aims to establish a democratic human, responsible, sensitive to social problems.The types of the research used in this research is descriptive evaluative study, with qualitative analysis with research sites in SMPN 1Sei . Beremas West Pasaman while the informants in this study is the principal, social science teacher, through the observation, interview and documentation like the form of lesson plans (RPP). The accuracy of the data was cheked by using triangulation of data, the data where analyzed with an interctive modal that consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The result showed that : in general on integrated social science (IPS) in SMPN 1Sei . Beremas be good. In terms of planning the learning process in SMPN 1Sei . Beremas, the teachers have made an annual program, the semester program,syllabus and lesson plans in accordance with its components. In terms of process activities, teaching, social studies teachers at SMPN 1Sei . Beremas is good enough, in accordancewith the teaching profesionalism in carrying out preliminary activities, core activities and activities in accordance with the closing of its components. Based on evaluating the learning, the social science of teacher SMPN 1Sei . Beremas not maximized execute well in reviewing the material , concludes , giving assignments and assessments.Comply with the terms of and execute the taks assigned by principalshows good, the teacher of IPS SMPN 1Sei . Beremas have been able to implement the rules of the regulation as well as the tasks given by principal.The research uf result is the perseption of teachers to learning IPS integreted in SMPN 1Sei . Beremas West Pasaman affect the performance of the integreted social science of teacher so that the teachers performance in accordance with the IPS have their components.

Abstract

The background of this study is the fact that collage students have to be able to use the appropriate learning strategy to be applied in explaining the certain material.This is caused by the fact there is not best strategy, media, or method to all subjects materials. The speech method that is used for students is assumed from many difficult factors include to collage students outlook or understanding about many methods that is assumed it is still minim and the limit of facility and access in school to use strategy, media, or other methods. Meanwhile, this study intends to describe Guardian Teachers Perception Towards Practician Teacher In Using Social Knowledge Learning Media In SMPN 31 Padang. Result of this study is : Guardian Teachers Perception Towards PPLK collage students in managing the learning process, they are not able yet to use learning media well. It is caused by the collage students less understanding toward the media function, then the collage students incability in selecting appropriate media to explain the certain material of the subject, also the time limitation to use media in explaining the certain material of the subject.
