Abstract

The material in teaching is very important in the process of learning activities teaching, books have an important and dominant role in the learning process teaching in which the material to be discussed is described according to with the level, then in finding a good and appropriate textbook is very important needed. Although it is difficult to find a textbook that is perfect in its design but at least we must pay attention to the use of appropriate textbooks for taught, Neville Grant revealed that The perfect textbook does not exist, but the best book available for you and your students certainly does.

Abstract

This research is focused on The interference mother language in arabic language use in the daily conversations of language. Nowadays, the very rapid advances in communication technology and science encourage humans to not only master one language, namely the Mother tongue, but also several foreign languages used in international forums, such as English and Arabic. Darul Hijrah Islamic Boarding School for girl in Martapura is one of the Islamic Boarding that requires students to use 2 languages in daily conversation, namely Arabic and English and apply a language environment to their acquisition. However, some students speak Arabic using elements of Indonesian language, grammar and mix with the Mother tongue during Arabic conversations. This is a qualitative research with a descriptive method. The subject of the research was the students' Arabic utterance. To analyze the data, the researcher used the following steps: data reduction, data presentation and conclusions, while the language speech data were analyzed using the error analysis method and comparative analysis

Abstract

This study aims to describe the academic material in Arabic teaching in the salaf and the modern Institutions, and describe the similarities and differences of Arabic teaching in both of them.The study  used  a qualitative.  In this  study  the  data  were  collected  by  using  interviews, observation, and documentation. To analyze  the  data,  the  researcher  used  the  interactive  technique  of  Miles  and Huberman,  while  to  test the  validity  of  the  data,  the  method  of  triangulation  technique  was  used.The result of the study shows the following: (1) The Arabic teaching materials in Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah Islamic boarding schools consist of 10 subjects, while in the Raudhatut Thalibin only consist of 5 subjects. The Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah boarding schools use theory of integrated and separated system in their Arabic teaching materials, while the Raudhatut Thalibin use separated system theory; (2) The instructional method engaged in Arabic teaching is the eclectic method. The teaching use concrete (indrawi) media. Both oral and written test were applied in the evaluation system; (3) The kinds of language environment applied in Arabic teaching in Rasyidiyah Kalidiyah Islamic boarding school consist of the environment of listening and reading. While speaking, reading and listening environments, were applied in Raudhatut Thalibin Islamic boarding school.Keywor

Abstract

This essay will discuss the comparison between Umru’ul Qais and Abu Nuwwas in composing their Arabic poems. These two leaders in Arabic poetry had a significant role and influence in determining the Arabic literature especially in the field of poetry. The far different distance of the era of these two leaders made a dynamic stage in performing poetry in Arabic. The main argument of this paper focuses on the topics and methods they used in composing a poem. The first part of this essay deals with the biography of Umru’ulQais and Abu Nuwwas and the milieu that influenced their characters in poetry. The second part addresses the different in the styles and rhythms in saying poetry. As a reformer, Abu Nuwwascameoverhaulingthe old style of poetries and make them free from the rigid rhymes. The last part of the essay speaks about the main topics of the poetry of both Umru’ulQais and Abu Nuwwas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of using the CTL (contextual teaching and learning) strategy in learning Arabic speaking skills at MA Manbaul Ulum, and to determine the effectiveness of learning Arabic using the CTL strategy in improving speaking skills at MA Manbaul Ulum. From the research results, it was found that there was a comparison between the pretest experimental class and the control class, in the test (t) the sig value of 0.183 was greater than 0.05 (0.183> 0.05). So there is no difference in ability between the experimental class and the control class before using CTL or the initial ability of the experimental and control class is the same. Then the results of the comparison between the experimental and control class posttest, in the test (t) the sig 0.011 value is smaller than 0.05 (0.011 <0.05). So there is a difference in the results of the study between the experimental class that uses CTL and the control class that does not use CTL to improve speaking skills at MA Manbaul Ulum. It can be concluded that the use of the CTL strategy to improve kalam skills at MA Manbaul Ulum is said to be effective.
