Abstract

This study aims to determine the discrepancy between the performance of individual counseling program on SMP Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang with standards. This study uses a standard of Guidelines for Performance Based Professional School Counselor Evaluation. Standard reads, “the professional school counselor counsels individual students and small groups of students with identified needs/concerns”. This study is an evaluation research using a discrepancy model. The approach used is a systems approach that is focused on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual counseling programs. Based on the data analysis of evaluation of individual counseling program in SMP Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang is still far from standard.Keyword: program evaluation, individual counseling, discrepancy model

Abstract

The parents have an important role in the development of student spiritual competence in secondary school because the parents become the main and the first mentor for student, the parents know the spiritual need of the student as a whole, and the parents can control student from deeds that deviates. Therefore, it is reasonable if Permendikbud No. 111 of 2014 was mandate that the implementation of guidance and counseling service in schools one of which with the collaboration counselor with all parents. Collaboration counselor with parents conducted for student spiritual competence development through comprehensive guidance and counseling services.Keywords: parents, spiritual competence, comprehensive guidance and counseling service

Abstract

Midwifery practice is medical treatment which related to an expectant mother, puerperal mother, health nursing of children under five, and small child. Ideally, midwife practice service includes mental and health service because both of them are influenced each other. Individual counseling service which is intergreted with midwifery practice will increase completness of service. Individual counseling service is a kind of service to aid patient with mental problem such as feeling trouble, while midwifery practice help to heal patient physical including bodily disease. Person life quality that getting physical trouble is determined by one feeling in accepting self-condition. Thus if people has no psychological problem, the patient who get health problem will not in trouble.Keywords: individual counseling service, midwifery practice.

Abstract

This study is carried out due to less of students understanding about future career planning, whereas those students have enough self belief about their potential. Therefore this study aims to know the strength of relation between self efficacy and students’ career planning. This study used quantitative approach that emphasize on numerical data of behavior which is processed by statistics method. This study used correlational statistic design. Product moment was employed in this research. The result shows positive correlation between self efficacy and career planning of the tenth grade students of Senior High School Yasmida Ambarawa, in even semester 2014/2015. Based on the result, this research contribution consists of career planning 65.52% was influenced by self efficacy and the rest 34.34% was influenced by others. In conclusion, if someone improve self efficacy in career, their career planning will improve too.Key Words: Correlation, sefl efficacy, and career plannning.

Abstract

Program implementation is very influential toward service outcome. This study aims to know the similarities or the differences between planning and implementation program by counselor. This study refers to discrepancy model which consist of four stages : (1) design, (2) installation, (3) process, and (4) product. The research subject is counselor of state junior high school 1 Yogyakarta. The result of questionnaire and interview shows that the score is relatively high. In conslusion, there are similarities between planning and implementation program of basic counseling.Keywords: evaluation, basic counseling of individual-social field.

Abstract

Clay therapy has a special role in the field of guidance and counseling. Clay Therapy has been widely use by counselor to overcome problems faced by children. Clay media adores children. Therefore, this media can assist counselor to overcome the problem of children who cannot express their problems. The guidance and counseling program conducted using the concept of clay therapy has a special counselee target. Clay therapy is aimed at children of 9-12 years of age. At these ages children are in the development process, so they need facilitation for their development, especially in the cognitive and affective aspects..Keywords: Clay Therapy, Guidance and Counseling Program.

Abstract

Not all students have the same ability as their intellegence, it happened because some problems that cause their basic intellegence is not able to develop. It is called underachiever students. Hopefully the shift of students learning skill pattern could improve underachiver students based on their intellegence. Hopefully the use of Wdep System as part of reality counseling is able to alterate better learning skill of underachiever students.This study used quasi experimental method. Six students ware taken as sample. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The result showed that WDEP System is effetive to improve learning skill of underachiever students at the tenth class of Senior High School Yasmida Ambarawa in accademic year 2014/2015.Keywords: WDEP System, reality counseling, learning skill, underachiever students.

Abstract

Good learning habit will determine students learning achievement. Underachiever students do not have good learning habit. They have characteristis for instance bad competence in doing school assignment, bad learning habit, having acceptance problem from their contemporary friends, having bad concentration in school activities, do not have self management both in the school and home, getting bored easily, leaving school activities, having good abiliy in spoken but not in written, no patient, busy with their mind, less honesty, frequently criticizing their self, having bad relationship with their friends, causing noise in the class. Thus, underachiever students have to be understood and assisted in order to develop maximally. Key Words: underachiever students.
