Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the second largest palnt biodiversity in the world, where in the biodiversity, the potential stored medicinal palnts that have not been explored to the maximum. The potential is very large to ensure the health and welfare of the people if well utilized. In addition to the wealth of plant diversity, Indonesia is also rich in ethnic and cultural diversity. Central Bereau of Statistics (BPS) said in Indonesiahas 1,128 tribes scattered across the country. Each tribe has a different repertoire, and at any rate, there is a wealth of diverse indigenous communities, including the use of herbs for traditional medicine.It needs to be done in connection with exploration and inventory of medicinal palnts and their utilization in the community based on local wisdom. Research to obtain data fitogeografi, agro-climate, utilization based on local wisdom, phytochemicals, and socio-economic of medicinal plants will be very important in building a database that can be used as an important information in the process of domestication of medicinal plants to increase productivity in terms of both quality and quantity, as well as pilot plant based drugs for independence. Thus, the saintifikasi herbs can be developed at the same time throughout the health care facility.East Kalimantan is one of the provinces that have the richness and diversity of plants, as well as ethnic/tribes spread over 13 districts. One of the tribes that Agabag Dayak Tribe, who live and occupy the area and surrounding counties Nunukan.This research was conducted with the Snowball Sampling especially in determining the informant/battara. How to do the sanpling informant seeking information from the public and based on the testimony of indigenous community leaders, chiefs, village heads, headmen, and other reputable sources in the community (road user) the informant/Battara determined. In this study the informants gained 5/Battara from 4 villages (upper cape, lower cape (intin), banyan and Kalampising.

Abstract

This study aimed to compare performance two clustering methods (fuzzy c-means and K-means) on the basis validity index. The study used daily rainfall data for twenty five years (1985 to 2009) from 22 stations covering the DIY Province. PCA is used to reduce number 15-day rainfall variables and transform into new variable. Four validity index clustering: Xie-Beni index (XB), sum squared error (SSE), silhouette (Si) and standard deviation ratio (Sw/Sb) are used for compare performance of two clustering methods. The optimal number of cluster is determined using XBindex, and result SSE, Si and ratio (Sw/Sb) are compared to find appropriate clustering algoritms to 15-day rainfall data. The study results showed that the first 4 PCs explains more than 82 % of total variance, than are used for data input in fuzzy c-means and K-means algorithms. The optimal number clusters according XB index are sixand five forK-means and FCM methode, respectively.The average ratio Sw/Sb K-means methode (0.243) was smaller than fuzzy c-means methode (0.289). The Silhouette dan SSE index are 0.46 and 76, 0.24 and 254 for K-means and FCM respectively. The result indicated that K-means methodeto be better than fuzzy c-means for clustering 15-day rainfall data in DIY Province.

Abstract

Objectives of the research were: (1) to study the effect of kind and dosage Organic fertilizer, as well as their interaction on the growth and yield of eggplant; (2) to find kind and profer dosage of organic fertilizer for better growth and yield of eggplant.   The research was carried out from February to May 2013, since preparation of growing media until crop harvested. It was held at Purwodadi Urban Village, Linggang Bigung Sub-District, West Kutai District.  The Completely Randomised Design was employed for this research with factorial 2 x 5 and 4 replications.  The first factor was kind of organic fertilizer (P) that consisted of 2 levels: cow manure fertilizer (p1), and bokashi of cow manure fertilizer (p2).  And the second factor was dosage of organic fertilizer (D) that consisted of 2 levels: no organic fertilizer (d0),  2,50 Mg ha-1 equal to 18,75 g polybag-1 (d1);  5,00 Mg ha-1 equal to 37,50 g polybag-1 (d2);  7,50 Mg ha-1 equal to 56,25 g polybag-1 (d3); and 10,00 Mg ha-1 equal to 75,00 g polybag-1 (d4).  Results of the research revealed that: (1) the kind of organic fertilizer affected significantly to very significantly on the plant height at 45 days after planting, length of fruit, and diameter of fruit, while no significant on the  the plant height at 15 and 30 days after planting,  number of leaf at 15, 30, and 45 days after planting,  days of crop flowered, days of crop harvested, number of fruit per crop, and fruit weight per crop.  The weighest fruit was attained by bokashi of cow manure fertilizer (p2), namely 0,74 kg per crop, whereas the lightest one was by cow manure fertilizer (p1) with only 0,72 kg per crop; (2) the organic fertilizer dosage affected significant until very significantly on the  plant height at 30 and 45 days after planting, number of leaf at 45 days after planting,  days of crop flowered, days of crop harvested, number of fruit  per crop, length of fruit, and fruit weight per crop; but no significant on the  the plant height at 15 days after planting, number of leaf at 15 and 30 days after planting,  and diameter of fruit. The weighest fruit was attained by 75,00 g polybag-1 treatment (d4), namely 0,85 kg per crop and the lightest one was by no organic fertilizer application treatment (d0) with only 0,66 kg per crop; and (3) the interaction between those two factors no significant on the all parameters, exceptly on the plant height at 30 days after planting.

Abstract

Aquaculture at Muara Badak Subdistrict has been cultivating shrimp and fish. The phenomenon that occurred at recent years ago low productivity of pond due to natural and diseases factors, so farmers switch a policy at cultivation seaweed species Gracilaria sp at ponds.. The aim research to development analysis for cultivation condition of species Gracilaria sp at ponds and reviewing of development policy of seaweed cultivation Gracilaria sp. method combination analysis SWOT and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) used to be set development strategy. The result of alternative strategi earn value of strategy I (SO) 7,044, the strategy II (WO) 6,109, the strategy III (ST) 5,522 and the strategy IV (WT) 4,587. the AHP's strategy of main priority 1 (A2) 0.309, priority alternative 2 (A3) 0.208, priority alternative 3 (A1) 0.168, priority alternative 4 (A5) 0.121, priority alternative 5 (A6) 0.080, priority alternative 6 (A8) 0.054, priority alternative 7 (A7) 0.037 and priority alternative 8 (A4) 0.025.

Abstract

The purpose of selection were to get a local lowland rice cultivar shave superior agronomic traits and high yield and get purified seed stock as the base material of plant propagation.Selection was conducted in Karang Tunggal village of Tenggarong Seberang sub district of Kutai Kartanegara Regency from April to August 2014.  Selection was arranged in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with four replications.  Further selected cultivars that v1 = Kambang; v2 = Roti; v3 = Sikin Putih; v4 = Sikin Merah; v5 = Popot; v6 = Pudak; and v7 = Situbagendit (check cultivar).  Data were analyzed with variance at 5% level and if there was significant followed by Least Significant Difference test (LSD) at 5% level.The results showed that there were three cultivars namely Roti, Sikin Putih and Sikin Merah have agronomic traits and yield meet the selection criteria.  Cultivars Kambang meet the selection criteria despite having a total number of grains and grain content of less, but has a short stem, the total number of tillers and productive tillers per hill at most, the percentage of filled grain/panicle >80% and the production of grain/ha > 5.0 t.  Pudak cultivar has agronomic traits and yield appropriate selection criteria, but it has a long harvesting.  Selection results have been obtained seed stocks were purified as plant propagation material.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui interaksi antara pemberian Trichoderma kompos dan konsentrasi Gandasil D, serta mengetahui perlakuan Trichoderma kompos dan konsentrasi Gandasil D yang memberikan pertumbuhan tanaman kelapa sawit terbaik di pembibitan utama. Penelitian dilaksanakan sejak bulan September 2018 sampai Januari 2019, di Perumahan Universitas Mulawarman, Batu Besaung, Sempaja.Hasil penelitian diperoleh pada variabel pengamatan, yaitu: tinggi tanaman, lingkaran bonggol, jumlah pelepah daun, dan panjang pelepah daun. Interaksi antara Trichoderma kompos dan Konsentrasi Gandasil D menunjukan berbeda tidak nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan. Trichoderma kompos menunjukan berbeda sangat nyata terhadap jumlah pelepah daun umur 4 Minggu Setelah Perlakuan (MSP) dan berbeda yang nyata pada umur 12 MSP tetapi berbeda tidak nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan lain. Kompos 500 g tanaman-1 memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik bagi tanaman kelapa sawit. Konsentrasi Gandasil D menunjukan berbeda nyata terhadap jumlah pelepah daun pada  umur 2 dan 6 MSP, berbeda sangat nyata pada umur 4 MSP, tetapi berbeda tidak nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan yang lain Konsentrasi 6 g Gandasil D L-1 air  memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik bagi tanaman kelapa sawit

Abstract

Effect Of Various Types Of Liquid Organic Fertilizer On Growth And Yield Of Green Eggplant (Solanum melongena L). Research on the effect of various types of liquid organic fertilizer on growth and yield of green eggplant (Solanum melongena L) was conducted on February up to May 2018 at Agrotechnology  Experimental Farm, STIPER East Kutai.A single factor of completely randomized block design were used in this research, and analysis of variance were used for data analysis and for advance by a Duncan's test, on a significance level 5%. The treatment is giving various types of LOF (Liquid Organic Fertilizer) from goat manure, cow dung and chicken manure. Each type of LOF had six replication. Obtained data were analyzed by analysis of variance at a significance level 5%. The research results showed that application of various types of liquid organic fertilizer was non significant on plant height, number of leaves, flowering age and weight of eggplant.

Abstract

Tataniaga Agribisnis Cabai Merah Di Kecamatan Tenggarong Seberang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui biaya produksi, total produksi, pendapatan petani dari agribisnis cabai merah, mengetahui pemasaran dan menghitung margin pemasaran agribisnis cabai merah di Kecamatan Tenggarong Seberang.Penelitian ini dimulai pada Desember 2013 sampai Maret 2014, dengan lokasi penelitian di Kecamatan Tenggarong Seberang, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode sensus. Data yang dibutuhkan oleh penelitian adalah data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dengan cara observasi dan wawancara dengan menggunakan responden kuesioner yang telah disusun sejalan dengan penelitian. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari studi kepustakaan dan informasi lembaga yang terkait dengan pelaksanaan penelitian.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa yang produksi total biaya adalah Rp 4.894.710,36 musim-1 responden-1, dengan total produksi adalah 2990.674 kg responden-1, pendapatan oleh responden adalah Rp 23.625.501,59 musim- 1 ha1 responden-1, dan pendapatan Rp 18.730.791,23 petani musim-1 ha-1 responden-1. Dengan proses petani pemasaran pengembangan agribisnis cabai merah yaitu: tingkat saluran nol dan saluran pemasaran dwi. Margin pemasaran petani dari cabai agribisnis merah di Kecamatan Tenggarong Seberang dibagi menjadi lembaga dwi, yaitu kolektor pemasaran pedagang rata-rata adalah Rp 5.250,00 kg-1 dan responden pengecer rata-rata adalah Rp 10.266,67 kg-1.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk menentukan: cendawan endofit yang terdapat pada tanaman padi (Oryza sativa); persentase daya hambat cendawan endofit terhadap cendawan Pyricularia oryzae Cav.; dan mekanisme antagonis antara masing-masing cendawan endofit terhadap cendawan Pyricularia oryzae Cav.. Penelitian dilakukan di laboratorium terpadu Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Mulawarman, dan sampel tanaman yang terinfeksi serta tanaman sehat dikumpulkan dari Kelurahan Sungai Kapih, Kecamatan Sambutan, Kota Samarinda. Hasil penelitian disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri dari empat sampel dan setiap sampel diulang sebanyak sepuluh kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cendawan endofit yang terisolasi dari tanaman padi (Oryza sativa) adalah Trichoderma sp., Rhizopus sp., Gliocladium sp. dan Penicillium sp. Kompetisiterbukti secara in vitro sebagai mekanisme antagonis Rhizopus sp., sedangkan antibiosis terbukti secara in vitro sebagai mekanisme Penicillium sp.. Trichoderma sp dan Gliocladium sp terbukti memiliki dua mekanisme antagonis yaitu kompetisi dan parasitisme. Kemampuan cendawan endofit sebagai agen biologis untuk bersaing dengan cendawan P. oryzae itu menghasikan perbedaan daya antagonisme, tingkat tertinggi penghambatan terjadi padaP.oryzae vs Gliocladium sp. (78,96%).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of marketing channels and marketing margins in the coconut. The method used is descriptive and analytical methods margin, distribution margins and share price received by farmers as well as the ratio of benefits and costs in the oil marketing. The results indicated that there were two oil marketing channels in the research sites, namely the channel I: farmer traders village/district – middlemen between districts/cities – consumer: and marketing channels II: farmer – traders village/district – traders collector between districts/cities – retailer – consumer where botk inefficient marketing channels and marketing of coconut in view of the value of margin, distribution margins and share price received by farmers, as well as the ratio of benefits and costs is also inefficient.
