H SihombingFakultas Kehutanan, Universitas MulawarmanSamarinda ABSTRACTKarst ecosystem poses high economic potency however its attention was lack due to to date only pay attentions merely on mineral resource potency, and its conservation measure only focus to some extent on cave. Mean while, karst area owns wider protective function, such as water conservation, state revenue from tourism, mining, bird nest, even it closely relates to the national security issue and state intelligence. Pay an attention on karst ecosystem that covers biotic potency and mineral energy exploration is tought to be far from seriousness meanwhile its tension on this ecosystem tends to be larger, even already comes to the stage of ecology endanger. In relation to the global temperature rise that leads to the climate change, natural karst ecosystem seems pay a big role in reducing carbondioxide through karstifikasi process. Therefore, the karst ecosystem conservation is an urgent agenda.Key words : Karst, Ecosystem, Climate change.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh POC Nasa  dan ZPT Ratu Biogen serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman terung dan untuk memperoleh konsentrasi POC Nasa  dan ZPT Ratu Biogen yang sesuai untuk pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman terung, sehingga diperoleh produksi buah yang tinggi.Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan percobaan faktorial 4 x 4  dan jumlah ulangan 3 (tiga) kali, terdiri dari 2 faktor.Hasil sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan POC Nasa (N) dan ZPT Ratu Biogen (R) berpengaruh sangat nyata, sedangkan interaksinya (NxR)  berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15 hari setelah tanam. Hasil sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan POC Nasa (N) dan ZPT Ratu Biogen (R) berpengaruh sangat nyata, sedangkan interaksinya (NxR)  berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 30 hari setelah tanam. Hasil sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan POC Nasa (N) dan ZPT Ratu Biogen (R) berpengaruh sangat nyata, sedangkan interaksinya (NxR)  berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 45 hari setelah tanam. Hasil sidik ragan menunjukkan bahwa interaksi perlakuan (NxR) berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15 hari, umur 30 hari dan umur 45 hari setelah tanam, umur tanaman saat berbunga, umur tanaman saat panen, jumlah buah per tanaman, berat buah per tanaman dan produksi buah per hektar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk sp-36 dan pupuk bio-urine sapi serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan  dan hasil tanaman terong hijau, serta untuk mengetahui dosis pupuk sp-36 dan pupuk bio urine sapi yang tepat untuk menghasilkan tanaman terong yang bagus.Penelitian menggunakan  Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dalam percobaan factorial 4x4, dengan 4 ulangan. Terdiri atas 2 faktor perlakuan. Factor I adalah pupuk SP-36 (S), terdiri atas 4 taraf. Faktor II adalah pupuk bio-urine sapi (B), terdiri atas 4 tarafHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk SP-36 (S) sangat berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15, 30 dah 45 hari setelah tanam, umur saat berbunga, umur panen, jumlah buah pertanaman, dan berat buah per tanaman. Berat buah terong tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan s3 pupuk SP-36, yaitu 1,81 kg/tanaman, sedangkan yang terendah terdapat pada perlakuan s0, yaitu 1,52 kg/tanaman.Perlakuan pupuk SP-36 (S) sangat berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi  tanaman umur 15, 30 dah 45 hari setelah tanam, umur saat berbunga, umur panen, jumlah buah pertanaman, dan berat buah per tanaman. Berat buah terong tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan s3 (SP-36), yaitu 1,81 kg/tanaman, sedangkan yang terendah terdapat pada perlakuan s0, yaitu 1,58 kg/tanaman.Perlakuan pupuk bio-urine sapi (B) sangat berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi  tanaman umur 15, 30 dah 45 hari setelah tanam, umur saat berbunga, umur panen, jumlah buah pertanaman, dan berat buah per tanaman. Berat buah terong tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan b3 (bio-urine sapi), yaitu 2,04 kg/tanaman, sedangkan yang terendah terdapat pada perlakuan b0, yaitu 1,14 kg/tanaman.Interaksi perlakuan (SxB) sangat berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi  tanaman umur 15, 30 dah 45 hari setelah tanam, umur saat berbunga, umur panen, jumlah buah pertanaman, dan berat buah per tanaman.

Abstract

Objectives of the research were to study the effect of Green-Tama fertilizer and Atonik plant regulator, as well as their interaction on the growth and production of tomato; and to find proper dosage of Green-Tama fertilizer and proper consentration of Atonik plant regulator for better growth and production of tomato.The Completely Randomised Design was employed for this research with factorial 3 x 3 and 3 replications.  The first factor was Green-Tama fertilizer dosage (K), consisted of 3 sub factors: no Green-Tama fertilizer application (k0), 2 ml l-1 water (k1), and 3 ml l-1 water (k2). And the second factor was Atonik plant regulator concentration (P) that consisted of 3 sub-factors: no Atonik plant regulator application (p0), 1 ml l-1 water (p1, and 2 ml l-1 water (p2).Results of the research revealed that:1. The Green-Tama fertilizer affected very significantly on the plant height at 4 weeks after sowing, days of crop firstly flowered and weight per fruit, affected significantly on plant height at 6 weeks after sowing, and did not affect significantly on plant height at 8 weeks after sowing and number of fruit per crop;2. The Atonik plant regulator concentration affected very significantly on the plant height at 4, 6, and 8 weeks after sowing, days of crop firstly flowered, number of fruit per crop, and fruit weight per crop, and did not affect significantly on plant height at 2 weeks after sowing;  and3. The interaction between those two factors did not affect significantly on all parameters observed.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of petroganic fertilizer and growmore fertilizer and its interaction on growth and yield of cayenne pepper. The research method used Randomized Complete Design (RAL) in factorial 4 x 3, and replication 5 times, consisting of 2 research factors. Factor I is Petroganic fertilizer (P), consists of 4 levels, namely: (p0) without fertilizer Petroganik (control), (p1) Petroganic fertilizer dosage 1 ton / ha equivalent 42 g / plant, (p2) dose of 2 tons Petroganik fertilizer / ha equivalent 84 g / plant and (p3) Petroganic fertilizer dose 3 ton / ha equal to 120 g / plant. Factor II is Growmore fertilizer (D) consisting of 3 levels ie: (d0) without Growmore fertilizer concentration, (d1) Growmore fertilizer concentration 2 g / l.air and (d2) Growmore fertilizer concentration 4 g / l. water.The results showed that the treatment of Petroganik fertilizer significantly affected the age of flowering. Very significant effect on plant height aged 15 days, age 30 days, age 45 days after planting, harvest age, number of fruit per plant and weight of fruit per plant. The weight of the heaviest fruit was found in the p3 treatment of 184.33 g / plant, while the lightest fruit weight was found in the treatment of p0 86.53 g / plant. Growmore fertilizer treatment has no significant effect on plant height age 45 days, flowering age, harvest age and number of fruit per plant. Significant effect on the weight of fruit per plant. Very significant effect on plant height. Interaction treatment of fertilizer Petroganik and fertilizer Growmore very significant effect on plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit and fruit weight per plant.

Abstract

Effect Of Application Time and NPK Fertilizer Dosage on The Growth of Sweet Corn (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt), Sweet Boys Variety.  Research objectives: 1. To determine the effect of time and dose of NPK fertilizer and their interaction on the growth of rainbow corn crop. 2. Time and dose of NPK fertilizer on the growth of rainbow sweet corn is a good crop.The research was conducted in a randomized completc block design arranged (RCBD) with a 2 x 4 factorial analysis and repeated twice. The first factor when fertilizer (W) consists of three levels namely: w1 = initial planting, w2 = one month after planting. The second factor fertilizer NPK Pelangi (K) consists of four levels: k0 = Without NPK fertilizer (control), k1 = 61.2 g plot -1 equivalent to 100 g ha -1, k2 = 122.4 g plot -1 equivalent with 200 g ha -1, k3 = 183.6 g plot -1 ha -1 equivalenltol300g.Timing of fertilizer treatment (W) gives no real effect on the average height of plant age 15 days, 30 days, age at exit female flowers, male flowers, cob girth, wet production and production of the fruit cob cob without cornhusk but highly significant the plant height 45 days, ear length. Average yield of cobs without klobot wet weight was obtained on treatment w1 (NPK fertilizer rainbow After onelmonthloflplanting)lofl6.77ltonneslha-1. Treatment NPK Pelangi (K) highly significant effect on plant height age of 30.40 days, ear length, ear diameter, fresh weight of the fruit without klobot cobs and cobs without klobot production. Average yield wet weight cob without klobot obtained at treatment NPK rainbow k3 (183.6 mg plot-1) of 6.77 tonnes ha-1. Treatment interaction (WxK) and NPK rainbow tillage were not significantly different in all the observed variables.

Abstract

Inventory of Agricultural Activities in West Kutai Regency. The aim of this study was to inventory of agricultural activities in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This study covered economic activities at agriculture sector of paddy, food crops, horticulture crops, estate, forestry, livestock, and fisheries. Data were collected from Statistics of West Kutai Regency.  The descriptive analysis method was applied to inventory some agricultural activities. In study location, there are farming activities which developed consist of wetland paddy and dryland paddy, 6 kinds of food plants, 10 kinds of vegetables, 19 kinds of fruits.  Also, animal husbandry 7 kinds livestock,  fishing culture and fishing catch. The other developed activities is processing timber and non timber forest products.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to know hormone Auksin IAA response and onion extract to the ability live of shoot cuttings Shorea parvifolia Dyer.This research using by Completely Randomized Design pattern by 3 x 3 factors and every repetition contain 30 cuttings with the hormone treatment or regulator grow  essence auksin IAA (A) by 0,1 gr/ml close, onion extract (B) content by 100% and didn’t by treatment or control (O).The result of this research are : (1) the influence of regulator grow auksin IAA essence and the onion extract to multiplication cuttings meranti sabut (Shorea parvifolia Dyer.) that indicate using hormone auksin IAA is the best with 91,11% presentation live by onion extract have 87,78% while presentation live and did not by control have 85,56% live presentation. (2) the influence of regulator auksin IAA essence and extract onion to multiplication cuttings meranti sabut (Shorea parvifolia Dyer.) to the sum of root, the long of root, the sum of new leaf and the new shoot are different and not real.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi  faktor  penyebab  kebakaran  lahan di  Desa Purwajaya Kecamatan Loa Janan Kalimantan Timur dan untuk memberi rekomendasi terhadap kegiatan pengendalian kebakaran hutan yang akan dilakukan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberi gambaran langsung dan tidak langsung mengenai faktor utama penyebab kebakaran hutan, yang nantinya dapat dimanfaatkan oleh berbagai pihak terkait seperti peneliti, akademisi kehutanan dan  akademisi  non  kehutanan.  Sehingga  dapat  menjadi  dasar  acuan  dalam kegiatan pengendalian kebakaran hutan di Desa Purwajaya Kecamatan Loa Janan Kalimantan TimurPengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara terhadap petugas, Satgasdamkar dan masyarakat sekitar hutan serta metode observasi langsung di lapangan. Sedangkan untuk pengumpulan data sekunder dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelusuran dokumen, agar didapatkan berbagai dokumen yang berkaitan dengan upaya pengendalian yang dilakukan dan kejadian kebakaran hutan di Wilayah Desa Purwajaya Kecamatan Loa Janan. Pengambilan responden wawancara dipilih secara sengaja (purposif) dan dalam jumlah yang kecil. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan pendapat Sitorus (1998) bahwa dalam penelitian kualitatif, pemilihan sampel penelitian tidak mengutamakan patokan keterwakilan populasi, melainkan keterwakilan aspek permasalahan, sehingga sebagai implikasinya sampel harus dipilih secara sengaja (purposif) dan dalam jumlah yang kecil, sehingga jumlah responden adalah 1 orang Kepala Damkar dan 6 orang ketua regu pemadam kebakaran 10 orang masyarakat setempat.Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor-faktor penyebab kebakaran lahan di  Desa Purwajaya Kecamatan Loa Janan Kalimantan Timur yang disebabkan oleh faktor Alam  (bahan bakar, topografi lahan, hidrologi, cuaca, iklim, dan rambu-rambu kebakaran) dan Faktor Manusia (kelalaian dan  ketidak pedulian masyarakat.Kegiatan pengendalian kebakaran hutan yang dilakukan oleh pihak yang terkait yakni Dinas Kehutanan harus mampu meningkatkan beberapa kegiatan, seperti pencegahan kebakaran, pada saat Kebakaran (Pemadaman Kebakaran) dan Pasca Kebakaran.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media tanam, aplikasi Nutrisi Organik Tanaman Lau Kawar dan interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah serta mendapatkan media tanam dan Nutrisi Organik Tanaman.Penelitian ini dilakukan dari Maret hingga Juni 2019 di Desa Sungai Pinang Dalam, Kabupaten Sungai Pinang, Samarinda, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur.Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dalam Percobaan Faktorial 3 x 3 dan 5 replikat. Faktor pertama adalah media tanam (M) yang terdiri 3 level, yaitu: media tanam humus (m0), media tanam humus + kotoran kambing 2: 1 (m1), dan media tanam topsoil + kotoran kambing + bahan bakar kulit 2: 1: 1 (m2). Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi Gizi Organik Tanaman Lau Kawar (P) yang terdiri dari 3 level, yaitu: tanpa Gizi Organik Tumbuhan Lau Kawar (p0), 2 ml l-1 air (p1) dan 4 ml l-1 air (p2) .Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan media tanam dan aplikasi Nutrisi Organik Tumbuhan Lau Kawaraplikasi dan interaksinya tidak signifikan pada semua parameter pengamatan, dan media tanam dan konsentrasi Nutrisi Organik Tumbuhan Lau Kawar tidak sesuai untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah.
