Abstract

At certain buildings, such as educational building, conservation and efficiency of energy in order to create building that environmental friendly is very important. One of the method to minimized the needs of additional energy in buildings is through the exploitation of natural light. In addition to energy conser-vation function, the exploitation of natural light is also function as to create comfort in educational building at tropical area. Main method that was used in this thesis was through literature study about natural lighting and direct survey to collect data on the field of selected case, that was school building of Taruna Bhakti in Bandung. While, the final result of this process was redesign of the building at certain points which diagnosed have natural lighting problems. Based on the analysis result of literatur study about natural lighting in building, this thesis resulting three scales of discussion, that was environmental scale, building scale and interior scale. This division of scale was used to analyzed building’s condition so that the weakness could be orderly analyzed and design solution could be proposed. In general, based on building’s condition analysis on the study case, at several parts of the buildings was proposed redesigning of building’s elements at environmental scale, building scale, and interior scale. This redesign of the building was in form of exploration on the use of natural light so that every space in the school environment will have good natural lighting. Keyword: Natural Light, Energy Conservation, Comfort

Abstract

The measurement of conductivity rock coat conducted by using potential method fall. Target of this research is to know how big assess electrics conductivity some homogeneous material type which obtained potential fall and know graph characteristic is nature of conductivity various same material type to function apart friction of potential electrode fall. The pursuant to result of the measurement, that every material have conductivity value which vary, where land containing of brine (salt) conductivity value equal to (0,4760-0,450)m-1, sand coat and gravel equal to (0,0096-0,0078)  m-1, limestone equal to (0,0151-0,01488)  m-1, clay land equal to (0,165-0,156)  m-1, and limestone contain chalk equal to (0,00269-0,00251)  m-1. Rock type/land owning larger ones conductivity is land containing of brine (salt) while smallest conductivity is limestone containing of chalk. Conductivity value every rock coat is land containing of brine (salt) = 0,4626  m-1 with DK=91,47%, sand coat and gravel = 0,0087  m-1 with DK=86,77%, limestone = 0,0150  m-1 with DK=92,18%, clay land = 0,1608  m-1 with DK=83,04%, and limestone containing of chalk = 0,00256  m-1 with DK=92,40%. From is fifth of material type anticipated that conductivity value vary to be caused by the existence of difference of amenity electrics current to emit a stream of in each passed by rock compiler material. Strong difference of current to emit a stream of in rock coat medium very is base on nature of passed by material physical. Abstract

Structural Equation Modeling ( SEM ) is a multivariate analysis were used to analyze the relationship between variables in a complex manner. University libraries in higher education has a vital role. University libraries can be said to be at the heart of higher education, as it became a major contributory factor for the implementation of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Quality of service at the library is very important to the success of service is realized as a library service. This study aims to determine the SEM parameter estimation using Maximum Likelihood as well as to analyze the effect of variable quality and relationship marketing in relation to satisfaction, trust and loyalty student UIN Alauddin Makassar students. This study was conducted by questionnaire, the data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 116 respondents. The population in this study was student UIN Alauddin Makassar. The sampling method used was Accidental Sample.Quality of service at UIN Alauddin Makassar Library does not have a significant effect on student satisfaction and confidence, while relationship marketing is done by the Library of UIN Alauddin Makassar in fact have a significant effect on student satisfaction and confidence UIN. From the calculation of the index Loyalty student UIN UIN Alauddin Makassar Library by 86%. For the lowest level of this calculation is that the satisfaction index of 65%. And for the student confidence index value of UIN Alauddin Makassar Library by 70%. The third variable is measured by the quality of services and relationship marketing carried out in the UIN Alauddin Makassar Library.

Abstract

Measurement of the performance of a company is very importantto evaluate and plan for the future. Absolute performance appraisal shouldbe done to determine the performance of each employee to be achieved. Forthat each company has a different way of assessing employee performance.In practice, the assessment of the performance of the employees should bedone with a good and appropriate methods, so there is no error in judgment.The results of the assessment should be done to ensure a fair andsatisfactory treatment for employees who are assessed, so that in turn fosterloyalty and morale. There are several tools that are commonly used formeasuring the performance of employees, namely Decision Support SystemAnalysis method Hierarchy Process (AHP). Decision support system is atool that can be used to assess employee performance by comparing criteriaand alternatives employees. This research was built using the MySQLdatabase, and using Dreamweaver for web development, and PHPprogramming language.

Abstract

How should we draw the relationship between each variable in a study included a number of variables, especially research that is very much. A simple question, but it will have a profound effect on the validity of the research is not done. Factor analysis is a statistical analysis technique that can help conduct research on a set of variables in the grouping factors, where each variable in the variable has a large variance. The use of statistical science as a tool to analyze, especially if the use of statistical science aided by using software such as Minitab, SPSS, SAS. That uses software to calculate statistics, an expression of "whatever we put in a certain statistical software will still produce something in the form of numbers", the question is whether the resulting output is valid or not? These are important questions. Therefore, in this article provided a good explanation of the theory of mathematical statistics, along with the use of software (Minitab) to facilitate the calculation process, also given the interpretation of the results obtained.

Abstract

Student Centered Learning disingkat SCL atau Pembelajaran yang berpusat pada Mahasiswa merupakan suatu metode  yang memacu mahasiswa untuk berperan lebih aktif, mandiri dan lebih terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Disini mahasiswa diarahkan untuk melakukan personelisasi model pembelajarannya. Dibandingkan dengan metode teacher centered learning(TCL) dimana pembelajaran berpusat pada dosen, dan  dosen menjadi pusat dari pengetahuan serta pusat referensi bagi mahasiswa pada matakuliahnya. Saat ini metode TCL pelan-pelan mulai diragukan efektifitasnya dalam proses transformasi pengetahuan dari dosen ke mahasiswa, disisi lain metode SCL mulai mendapat sambutan karena dianggap dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pembelajaran mahasiswa dalam menyerap pengetahuan yang diberikan dan dicari sendiri oleh mahasiswa tersebut..  Implementai SCL ini tidaklah semudah implementasi TCL, jika pada TCL dosen hanya memberikan ceramah dan sekali-kali melakukan diskusi hanya memerlukan pengetahuan bidang ilmu dengan dukungan tool seperti slide Power Point, sedangkan pada SCL dosen harus lebih kreatif menggunakan berbagai tool yang ada dalam rangka memfasilitasi mahasiswa agar dapat belajar secara mandiri, seperti tool e-learning, internet serta perangkat audio video. Penggunaan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi yang singkat TIK dalam SCL sangat membantu mahasiswa dalam melakukan proses pembelajaraan secara mandiri. Internet menyediakan referensi terlengkap yang tersedia kapan saja dan dimana saja. E-learning membantu menyediakan referensi yang lebih  fokus pada mata kuliah yang akan dipelajari. Perangkat Audio Video membantu mahasiswa dalam peningkatan pemahaman terhada suatu materi ajar. Selain itu ada beberapa lagi tool TIK yang akan sangat membantu metode SCL ini, seperti Smartboard, Video Conference, Forum Disuksi Onlline dan lain-lain.        .

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ZPT IAA terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pisang sayang secara in vitro. Penelitian dilakukan mulai September sampai Desember 2011 di Laboratorium Kultur Jaringan UPTD Balai Benih Tanaman Hortikultura (BBTH) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor yang terdiri atas empat taraf yakni kontrol, hormon IAA dengan tiga perlakuan yakni pada konsentrasi 0,5ppm, 1ppm dan 1,5ppm. Parameter yang diamati adalah pertambahan berat massa planlet, kecepatan pembentukan mata tunas, pertambahan jumlah daun, pertambahan ukuran panjang daun, dan pertambahan ukuran tinggi tanaman. Analisa data dengan menggunakan uji F (varians) pada taraf kepercayaan α 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh nyata antara perlakuan dengan kontrol terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pisang sayang (Musa paradisiaca L. var. sayang) secara in vitro. Nilai rata-rata pertumbuhannya menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ZPT IAA dengan konsentrasi 0,5ppm memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap pertambahan volume tanaman dan pertambahan jumlah daun, pada konsentrasi 1ppm memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap kecepatan pembentukan mata tunas, sedangkan kontrol memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap pertambahan ukuran tinggi tanaman dan panjang daun, namun demikian keberadaan auxin IAA maka dapat membantu dalam proses pertumbuhan tanaman pisang sayang secara in vitro.

Abstract

Corn cobs is one of agriculture waste which is applicable as one of alternative feed ingredients, despite its low nutritional and high fibre contents; it can used as fibre resource of complete feed to male goats. The objective of this research is to evaluate effects of giving total mixed ration containing different levels of corn cobs on performance male goats. The experiment was carried out according to 4 x 4 Latin Square Design. In each period of 12 days, each goat was randomly assigned to one of the following treatments: T1 (complete ration containing 30 % corn cobs), T2 (complete ration containing 35 % corn cobs), T3 (complete ration containing 40 % corn cobs), and T4 (complete ration containing 45 % corn cobs). The result of the study is the treatments did not indicate a tangible effect (P>0, 05) to the performance of male goats. In conclusion, different levels of corn cobs in complete feed did not negatively affect the performance of male goats.
