Abstract

At certain buildings, such as educational building, conservation and efficiency of energy in order to create building that environmental friendly is very important. One of the method to minimized the needs of additional energy in buildings is through the exploitation of natural light. In addition to energy conser-vation function, the exploitation of natural light is also function as to create comfort in educational building at tropical area. Main method that was used in this thesis was through literature study about natural lighting and direct survey to collect data on the field of selected case, that was school building of Taruna Bhakti in Bandung. While, the final result of this process was redesign of the building at certain points which diagnosed have natural lighting problems. Based on the analysis result of literatur study about natural lighting in building, this thesis resulting three scales of discussion, that was environmental scale, building scale and interior scale. This division of scale was used to analyzed building’s condition so that the weakness could be orderly analyzed and design solution could be proposed. In general, based on building’s condition analysis on the study case, at several parts of the buildings was proposed redesigning of building’s elements at environmental scale, building scale, and interior scale. This redesign of the building was in form of exploration on the use of natural light so that every space in the school environment will have good natural lighting. Keyword: Natural Light, Energy Conservation, Comfort

Abstract

These planning and designing are aimed to design Medical Mall in Makassar with healthy building approach, although in macro such as deciding the location and footprint, and also in micro such as deciding the form and its appearance, program, measuring rooms and relating each rooms, structure, material, until its equipments. The method which is used is Descriptive, the data comes from secondary data, those are literature study through books, short papers, references, standard, internet and others written sources that is related with planning and designing Medical mall in Makassar with healthy building approach. The results of these designing are creating a place in servicing health and others facilities supporting medical health in a integrated building, that is based comfortable and save environment fulfill requirements of physiological, psychological and free from spreading diseases.

Abstract

Planning and designing aim to design a culture and tourism information center with Modern Architecture Approach, the design limited on several issues there are the architectural issues, particularly spatial, space requirements and appearance of the building, while the method used is the study of literature / literary studies, surveys (form of field observation and data collection of building where has a similar function to the culture and tourism information center) and analyzing the data obtained. The result of the design is the creation of culture and tourism information center in Makassar, South Sulawesi with Modern Architecture approach  with the ability of the building to accommodate the times when the building is nuance and modern look, with a modern form so that this building is more Interesting to prospective visitors.

Abstract

Schools nature is a form of alternative education that uses nature as the main media as her students learning by using active or action learning where children learn through experience firsthand experience. The use of nature as a medium of learning is expected that in the future children or students more aware of the environment and know the application of knowledge learned, not only limited to theory. The design of this nature school also strengthened in view of Islam because it relates to science. In Islam has always emphasized learning activities and obligatory. Prompts Prophet, for every Muslim to seek knowledge should support the progressive development of human life, but within the limits of the pleasure of  by Allah SWT. In addition, the most important thing of the study is how science is practiced for the good. digunskan concept in this design, combined with the study of literature and the state directly in the field and planned in the model concept and led to the idea of designing and developing desainnya. The results of the design adapted to local conditions acceptable to the environment and a recommendation for its development.

Makassar city requires a place of gallery to preserve various types of ornamental plants and also provided various supporting facilities for lovers of ornamental plants, especially urban communities Makassar. Other factor that influence the appearance of the idea to plan the gallery of ornamental plants and also increase public interest toward the manufacture of garden plants that need supported by the container provision of adequate shopping ornamental plants, and become a need of life besides the primary requirement has been fulfilled also need to preserve and cultivate various types of ornamental plants in order to avoid extinction. Activity center boxing as Landmark new in Makassar by applying the concept of display design the future, namely the emphasis display architecture Futuristic building and supporting facilities will be a public appeal to fill holiday time , with the structure approach Pneumatic will meet the application of the future design and became home the organizations, either directly from the government or a stand-alone mutual interest in order to facilitate communication.

Abstract

The importance of dance in Makassar museum is to introduce a culture held in South Sulawesi, which can be known by all foreign countries, as well as parawisatawan and everyone to visit. The research objective non architecturally it is featuring elements of culture, history and introduce Traditional Dance in South Sulawesi, while the purpose of the architectural is to determine the location that corresponds to the existence of the museum of dance, designing spaces required in accordance with the standards Museum as well as the need for space for art museum dance, design a museum of dance that is associated with exposure to the facade structure and merger with fractal theory, designing the use of facades of buildings, structures, utilities, appearance of the building, as well as the transformation of the museum forms of dance and design the masses on the dance museum. This report is the result of designing the museum building in Makassar dance with exposure approach to the structure of the building facade and application of fractal theory adapted to the standards and needs of the space.

Abstract

Abstrak_ Gerakan Pramuka (GP) sebagai Gerakan Kepanduan Praja Muda Karana adalah gerakan pendidikan kaum muda yang didukung oleh orang dewasa, Gerakan Pramuka menyelenggarakan kepramukaan sebagai cara mendidik kaum muda oleh dan untuk kaum muda atas dukungan bimbingan orang dewasa (Harahap,1999). Perkemahan adalah salah satu usaha dan kegiatan usaha dan kegiatan gerakan pramuka berdasarkan prinsip dasar metode pendidikan kepramukaan yang membentuk kepribadian yang berakhlak dan berperilaku yang baik, sehingga dibutuhkan wadah untuk melaksanakan sebuah perkemahan. Di Makassar sendiri telah ada bumi perkemahan yaitu Ca’dika namun tidak terawat lagi sehingga perlu di revitalisasi kembali untuk mewadahi seluruh rangkaian kegiatan perkemahan, dengan mengusung konsep desain Arsitektur Bambu yang berdasarkan pada faktor lingkungan potensi alam di bumi perkemahan Ca’dika dan upayah meningkatkan eksplorasi kekayaan material lokal kedalam desain masa kini serta adanya isu hijau yang menjadi isu secara global arsitek saat ini. Penyusunan konsep perancangan berlandaskan dari kajian teori dan survey lapangan dengan kombinasi dan integrasi kepramukaan, konstruksi bambu, dan standar perkemahan. Hasil dari perancangan berupa konsep tapak ( makro - mikro ), konsep bentuk dan penampilan bangunan, konsep struktur, konsep material, konsep perlengkapan bangunan ( utilitas ), dan konsep sirkulasi ( makro – mikro ).  Kata kunci : Revitalisasi, Bumi Perkemahahan Pramuka Caddika, Arsitektur Bambu

Abstract

Abstrak-Kantor Walikota Palopo merupakan salah satu wadah dari pemerintah Kota Palopo dalam mendukung pelayanan terhadap masyarakat. Namun, kondisi Kantor Walikota Palopo saat ini sebagai pusat aktifitas pemerintahan kota sudah tidak layak pakai. Redesain Kantor Walikota Palopo merupakan upaya  untuk merancang ulang bentuk dan tampilan bangunan yang mencerminkan suatu lambang pusat pemerintahan yang representatif. Bangunan kantor yang memadai, diharapkan dapatmenciptakan sebuah sistem atau mekanisme kerja instansi pemerintah kota yang terintegritas dan menyeluruh, mewujudkan pola layanan masyarakat yang efektif dan efisien, mengembangkan dan meningkatkan pembangunan fisik, ekonomi maupun social. Dalam meredesain Kantor Walikota Palopo, dibutuhkan sebuah konsep dasar rancangan yang lebih baik dan tidak merusak lingkungan serta sesuai dengan konsep kearifan Arsitektur Lokal masyarakat setempat. Kata Kunci :Arsitektur Lokal, Kantor Walikota Palopo, Redesain
