Abstract

Field Work Experience (Kukerta) is intrakurikuler program with the main objective to provide education to students. The students of Field Work Experience (Kukerta) as a study conducted in the midst of the scientific community to implement possessed by every student of various disciplines, can then be applied in the middle of society. One of the institutions that implement activities Field Work Experience (Kukerta) is the University of Riau. The results showed that the student’s opinions is different, some refuse and support the implementation of Kukerta. The student’s opinions have mutual balance between supporting and rejecting.Key word : Communication, Opinion, Field Work Experience (Kukerta)

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of food security programs in addressing the problem of shortage of food needs such as rice Researchers use a political approach to food is to know the actors directly involved in the rice self-sufficiency program and its importance, determine the presence of rice self-sufficiency goal, know what factors affect the achievement of self-sufficiency in rice and facilities whether it has been adequately done in implementing the program of the local government in order to achieve self-sufficiency in rice in Siak in 2012. The theory that I use is the theory Merilee S Grindle which states that the success of policy implementation is influenced by two variables, namely the policy content and the implementation environment.The method used in this study is qualitative methods of data that can not be expressed in terms of numbers but in the form of an explanation that describes the shape of the state, a process, a particular event.The results showed that the implementation of the food security program in achieving rice swasemabada has not reached the desired target. This is due to the actors involved in the implementation of the program do not understand the purpose in carrying out policies that have been made, as the goal of increasing the planting area through land use and improve the quality of human resources in support of the implementation of the program so that the many obstacles that can not be resolved by the actors.Besides the political, social and economic influence also in the implementation of food security programs in achieving self-sufficiency rice in the regency of siak in 2012.Keywords: food security, policy implementation, and interests.

Abstract

This research is motivated because of the work of employees who almost daily are not always completed on time , sometimes there is still a job of another employee who cause problems and absenteeism levels are still high . Thus the role of leadership is needed in improving their performance . The purpose of this study was to determine the style of leadership and the performance of employees of PT . Bank BNI Syariah Branch Pekanbaru and to determine the relationship of leadership style with the performance of the employees of PT . Bank BNI Syariah Branch Pekanbaru . The results showed that the leadership styles used by leaders of PT . Bank BNI Syariah Branch Pekanbaru tend to use a leadership style where the leader of the delegation of the work delegated authority to hand over full responsibility for the execution of the work to subordinates , but in practice the leadership also use autocratic and participative leadership style . Moreover the performance of the employees still have shortcomings in terms of work , work discipline , the possession of work and cooperation . From the statistical analysis it is known that the style of leadership has a strong connection with the performance of the employees of PT . Abstract

Stars shoes shop at Marpoyan Pekanbaru department are one of trade business that work under Stars International Company in Surabaya. This trade business work in footwear sector or retail business. More rivalry in trade business that make a challenge for this trade business to always get compete and hold out into rivalry business.This research are purpose to know SWOT analysis and strategy for increase competitiveness along with assembling SWOT analysis. This research are description method with kind of the study research example and data collection are doing by interview and give questioner to some people that include in this research.From SWOT analysis, we know that score of IFAS is 2,84 and score of EFAS is 2,97. It means that if this score are in SWOT diagram, the research indicate that this trade business are in quadrant 1 position. It means that the strongest of this trade business have a circles opportunity and much more power can use to make that opportunity. The higher score for SWOT matric is 4,35 that decide for this trade business. Advisable to apply the SO strategy for defend that trade business to keep on that sector.Keywords : Business Strategy, SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat), SWOT Analysis.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of credit risk, as measured by non performing loan to the level of profitability (return on assets) in the banking PT.Bank Negara Indonesia,Tbk.Sampling technique used is purposive sampling with criteria as PT. Bank Negara Indonesia,Tbk who provide financial report and traded during period 2006-2012. Obtained by amount sampel as much 28 in financial report kuartal since 2006 to 2012. Analysis technique used is simple linier regression.During research period show as data research was normally distributed. Based on multicolinierity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test variable digressing of classic assumption on has not founded. Its indicate that the avaiable data has fulfil the condition to use simple linier regression model.Based on the result of the analysis, it is encountered that credit risk influenced negative but it is not significant toward profitability.Based on the above results, it is suggested: (1) it can be used as consideration in maximizing the level of profitability, (2) can increase an empirical and scientific evidence regarding non performing loan to the level of profitability, which can be in line with this research.Keywords : Credit Risk, Non performing Loan, Profitability, Return On Assets

Abstract

One of the available natural resources in Indonesia is a rubber plantation. In Riau Province,Kampar is the largest rubber producer with production in 2012 is 61.482 tonnes and 50.643families of farmers. As is the case in the village of Island Birandang the majority of thepopulation to 80% eyed quest as rubber farmers. Island residents Birandang his dependenceon rubber plantations. The problems discussed in this thesis is how the welfare and survivalstrategies of farmers in rubber tappers Birandang Island Eastern District of Kampar.Various ways or strategies do survive to be able to maintain its survival. As for the dataobtained in this study will use descriptive quantitative method. Techniques used indetermining the sample is simple random sampling, while the process of collecting data usinginterviews and observation.Results of studies conducted in general the writer can say that thewelfare of farmers in general are rubber tappers in the family entitled to the still relativelypoor, efforts should be made by farmers tapper that meet social needs that level ofpsychological well-being increased. Abstract

This research was conducted at Kanagorian Koto Teluk Beringin Bay Gunung Toar Kuantan Singingi disrtrict. This study aims to find out what are the functions and roles change ninik mamak dikanagorian koto teluk beringin Bay, and to look at the factors that influence changes in the function and role in regulating child ninik mamak nephew. In analyzing this research, quantitative descriptive, ie data that has been processed then be made in the form of a table, and then presented in the form of words that describe the specific circumstances and is easy to understand about the function and role of ninik mamak and changes.The results of this study show a change in the function and role ninik mamak of the at Kanagorian Koto Teluk Beringin Bay is in regulating children's nephew, in the case of disputes, inheritance, education, and in the field of marriage functions and roles ninik mamak not undergo a change. This caused by several factors, namely technological factors: the development of increasingly sophisticated technology today makes the function and role of ninik mamak changes to children's nephew, the influence of other culture: entry and the development of another culture amid public life today make the function and role of ninik mamak more reduced, politics and economics: understanding is not in line with the political and economic nephew children ninik mamak less able to make the function and role changes, and educational factors: low education ninik mamak making function and its role is less appreciated by his nephew children.Keywords: Functions, Roles and Changes

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with so many ethnic and indigenous therein, where it is estimated there are approximately 30 million people among them who live around the forest like the Talang Mamak tribe in Riau Province. Deforestation rate is so high and many alihfungsi forest to plantations or mining is an oppression against those who maintain forests for generations that became a local wisdom for them.This research was conducted in the village of River Raft Ekok Kulim District of Indragiri Hulu, which is the case in this thesis is the switch function Talang Mamak tribe indigenous forests into oil palm plantations aeral managed by a private company that is PT.Selantai Agro Lestari (SAL). Indigenous forest is actually set by the Government Indragiri Hulu along with the Regional Representatives Council Indragiri Hulu through SKB 31/SKB/II/2007 Number and Number 180/HK/II/2007 of 1800 hectares, thus causing conflict between communities and companies that establish oil palm plantations in the absence of land use permits (HGU) from the Ministry of Forestry. The study also looked at the efforts in the resolution of the conflict.This study used qualitative methods to conduct interviews and make observations to the study site in order to obtain data that would be material in this thesis.In the end, some conclusions can be drawn from the results of this study, namely, the establishment of oil palm plantations by private companies without any land use permits from the Ministry of Forestry, the presence of the sale and purchase of land by the public Talang Mamak, regional autonomy as the sustainability of forest destruction because, with facilitate the implementation of regional autonomy permits the release of such forestry Industrial Plantation Forest (HTI), Hak Guna Usaha (HGU) Mining License and others. Efforts in resolving this conflict is to report the conqueror fungsian indigenous forests to the Legislative Council Indragiri Hulu, through consultation and mediation through the National Land Agency.Keywords: Indigenous Forests, Transfer Function

Abstract

The research is done in Pharmacy Pekanbaru. Setting of the problem is How Service Are Quality In Business Pharmacy Pekanbaru. The purpose of this reseach is to find out quality service in Pharmacy Pekanbaru. Writter use kualitative deskriptive analysis method and some theories about service quality. Indicator used of this research are Tangibles, Reliability, Responsivness, Assurance and Emphaty as measurement of service quality in business pharmacy Pekanbaru. Data collecting technique is done interview and quisoner. Sampling is done by sampling accidental. Abstract

This thesis is submitted in order to qualify holds a Bachelor of Sociology. With the title "Night Market in Pekanbaru Existence". The problem addressed in this paper is to describe the shadow Ohana Night Market Profile and how to market strategy in maintaining keeksitensian night shadow night market Ohana, as well as visitors to the night market perception when viewed in terms of the game subjects were owners Night Market as well as key informant visitors night market research accindental using techniques that capture the subject at random. Researchers took the informant as many as 10 people a night market visitors, because researchers considered 10 informants visitors are able to represent other visitors. The method used is a qualitative method. Data were collected by means of observation, interviews, documents, as well as primary data and secondary data. The theory used for the existence of problems in pekanbaru night market is Max Weber's theory of social action theory that particular action instrumentasl Rationality ( zweckrationalitas ). Results of research conducted in general it can be said that the existence of the author funfair can survive because workers have a night market strategy in the face of weather disturbance problems, natural disasters or accidents games, visitors quiet, dead or damaged generators, in addition to seasonal school adaptation strategies, strategies to attract visitors also done in a way to fool visitors that are interested in games, as well as the removal or turnover strategy that is not enough. Therefore the aim of this strategy is done in order to survive the night market despite obstacles.
