Abstract

 Abstrak This research is motivated by several things, among others: writing is one form of work that is often written by students. the resulting work must be in accordance with good grammar. Basically, it is often encountered in student performance, not in accordance with the correct grammar. The developed sentence has not seen cohesion and coherence between paragraphs. Cohesion and Correction are needed in writing so that the meaning conveyed by the author is understood by the reader. The cohesion and the korehensi of a sentence are inseparable from the use of non-language words like conjuncers. The purpose of this research is to describe the type of conjunctor in student paper FKIP UMMY Solok. The type of this research is qualitative research using descriptive method, with the following steps (1) reading data in the form of student papers, (2) providing encoding by circling and giving special code such as giving data number, (3) reporting all data which has been encoded, (4) language data according to the function of each conjunctor, (6) make concise recommendations and. Based on data analysis, the total number of conjunctors used in student papers is 104 data. From the data it can be concluded that the students have not varied in using conjunctor. They use conjunctors for, because in PPD courses that are associated with participants who not only include the concepts, but also the benefits of each material contained in the paper. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa hal antara lain: karya tulis ilmiah merupakan salah satu bentuk karya yang sering ditulis mahasiswa. Karya yang dihasilkan haruslah sesuai dengan kaedah tata Bahasa yang baik. Pada kenyataannya, sering ditemui dalam penulisan tugas mahasiswa, tidak sesuai dengan tata bahasa yang benar. Kalimat yang dikembangkan belum memperlihatkan kohesi dan koherensi antar paragraf. Padahal kohesi dan korensi sangat dibutuhkan dalam menulis agar makna yang disampaikan oleh penulis dalam dipahami oleh pembaca. Kohesi dan korehensi sebuah kalimat tidak terlepas dari pemanfaatan unsur-unsur bahasa seperti konjungtor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan jenis konjungtor dalam makalah mahasiswa FKIP UMMY Solok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut (1) membaca data yang berupa makalah mahasiswa, (2) memberi pengkodean dengan cara melingkari dan memberikan kode khusus seperti memberikan nomor data, (3) mencatat semua data yang telah diberi pengkodean, (4) membahasa data sesuai dengan fungsi masing-masing konjungtor, (6) membuat kesimpulan dan saran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, secara keseluruhan jumlah konjungtor yang digunakan dalam makalah mahasiswa sebanyak 104 data. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa belum bervariasinya mahasiswa dalam menggunakan konjungtor. Mereka cenderung menggunakan konjungtor untuk, karena pada mata kuliah PPD yang berhubungan dengan peserta didik sehingga makalahnya tersebut tidak saja berisi konsep-konsep, tetapi juga manfaat dari masing-masing materi yang dijelaskan dalam makalah tersebut. Keywords: Konjungtor, Makalah, UMMY SOLOK

Abstract

The research based on observation in the field. The result of this research is students at grade x still low in writing argumentative text. The was difficulties to developed the idea and fact to support a argumentative paragraph. This phenomena appear because student in reading ability and understanding is very low. Based on the problem above, the researcher need to describe contribution of reading ability and understanding in writing argumentative text on X grade students at SMA Semen Padang. The hypothesis in this research is contribution reading ability toward writing argumentative is very significance, contribution in understanding toward writing argumentative tex, contribution reading ability and understanding join together in writing argumentative text. The researcher can conclude that reading ability and comprehension have two factors in writing argumentative text on x grade students at sma semen padang, eventhough others factor the research do not research in this thesis. The result of this research is to increase the student writing x grade at SMA Semen Padang in reading ability and comprehension.

Abstract

Abstrak Salah satu kemampuan berbahasa yang harus dikuasai seorang mahasiswa adalah kemampuan berbicara. Kompetensi berbicara adalah salah satu komponen dalam tujuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan pembelajaran berbicara mahasiswa bahasa indonesia, masih banyak yang belum bisa menerapkan metode berbicara secara baik. Mereka juga menganggap berbicara sulit, padahal sebenarnya mereka belum menguasai materi atau bahan yang akan mereka bicarakan. Salah satu yang dapat melihat atau mengukur kemampuan berbicara adalah dengan berpidato karena kegiatan ini memerlukan persiapan yang matang dan konsep yang jelas agar kegiatan berpidato dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berbicara pada mata kuliah pengajaran keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia UMMY Solok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif sedangkan populasi dan sampel adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2018 berjumlah 8 orang. Hasil penelitian ini adalah dapat dikelompokkan kemampuan berpidato mahasiswa yang memperoleh nilai 88,9 dengan kualifikasi Baik Sekali (BS) diperoleh 4 orang mahasiswa dengan persentase 50%, nilai 83,3 dengan kualifikasi Baik (B) diperoleh 1 orang dengan presentase 12,5%, nilai 72,2 dan 66,7 dengan kualifikasi Lebih Dari Cukup (LDC) diperoleh 3 orang dengan presentasi 37,5%. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan, Berbicara, Berpidato Abstract This research is motivated by the ability to speak is one of the language skills that must be mastered by a student because speaking competence is one of the components in the learning objectives. Based on learning to speak Indonesian students, there are still many who have not been able to apply the speaking method properly. They also think that speaking is difficult, when in fact they have not mastered the material or material they are going to talk about. One that can see or measure speaking ability is by giving speeches because this activity requires careful preparation and clear concepts so that speech activities can be carried out properly. This study will describe the speaking ability in the speaking skills teaching course for Indonesian Language Education students at UMMY Solok. This type of research is quantitative using a descriptive method while the population and sample are students from the 2018 batch of 8 people. The results of this study are that the students' speaking abilities can be grouped with a score of 88.9 with a Very Good qualification (BS) obtained by 4 students with a percentage of 50%, a score of 83.3 with a Good qualification (B) obtained by 1 person with a percentage of 12.5%. , scores of 72.2 and 66.7 with more than adequate qualifications (LDC) were obtained by 3 people with a presentation of 37.5%. Abstract

The research is done in Pharmacy Pekanbaru. Setting of the problem is How Service Are Quality In Business Pharmacy Pekanbaru. The purpose of this reseach is to find out quality service in Pharmacy Pekanbaru. Writter use kualitative deskriptive analysis method and some theories about service quality. Indicator used of this research are Tangibles, Reliability, Responsivness, Assurance and Emphaty as measurement of service quality in business pharmacy Pekanbaru. Data collecting technique is done interview and quisoner. Sampling is done by sampling accidental. Abstract

Coffee is one of the plantation commodities with high economic value and an important role as a source of foreign exchange for the country. One type of coffee that is commonly cultivated in Indonesia is Robusta coffee. Robusta coffee (Coffea canephora L.) is known to have higher caffeine than Arabica coffee, so the stimulant effect given by Robusta coffee will be greater than Abarica coffee. The content of secondary metabolites including caffeine, in coffee, is strongly influenced by environmental factors, such as the altitude where it is grown. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the place of growth (height) to the caffeine content in coffee beans. The coffee bean powder was extracted with distilled water and the extracted liquid-liquid with chloroform to produce a caffeine fraction. The caffeine fraction, which has been evaporated with the solvent, was then analyzed qualitatively with parry reagents and quantitatively with UV spectrophotometry. The caffeine content in coffee samples and analyzed using SPSS software. The results of the qualitative test using parry reagent proved that all samples of robusta coffee, namely Merapi, Menoreh, Turgo, and Temanggung contained caffeine which was marked in green. The quantitative test stated that the highest caffeine content was coffee beans originating from Merapi with a level of 1,85%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the skills of writing review texts using audio-visual media for class VIII students of SMPN 3 X Koto Singkarak in the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is quantitative using a descriptive method. The sample of this research is the students of class VIII SMPN 3 X Koto Singkarak, totaling 30 people. The sampling technique is based on percentage random sampling (proportional random sampling) whose method of withdrawal is based on the proportion of the number of students per class. Data collection techniques in the form of performance tests. Data analysis techniques include reading, checking and scoring student test results, converting raw scores into grades, classifying student scores on a scale of 10, making histograms, and concluding research results in the form of a thesis. The results of the research on writing review text skills using audio visual media, the average value of students' ability in writing review texts using audio visual media on the work identity structure is 85.53 which is in very good qualification, on the orientation structure is 78.85 is in good qualification, in the synopsis structure, 88.87 is in very good qualification, in the analysis structure, 68.86 is in more than adequate qualification, in the evaluation structure 71.07 is in more than adequate qualification. It can be explained that the students of SMPN 3 X Koto Singkarak are able to write a review text correctly. Based on the above qualifications, it can be concluded that the skills of writing review texts using audio-visual media students of class VIII SMPN 3 X Koto Singkarak in the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year are in good qualifications with a mastery level of 76-85% with an average score of 78.40 .

Abstract

This research is motivated by the students' writing ability in learning procedure text with the demonstration method. This research is caused by the increase in students' learning motivation with active and presentative learning methods such as demonstration learning methods. This is in line with the observations and interviews that the researcher conducted with one of the Indonesian language teachers at SMP N 2 Solok City on November 25, 2021. The purpose of this study was to explain the ability to write procedural texts using the demonstration learning method of class VII students in the second semester of the academic year. 2021/2022 SMP N 2 Solok City. This research was conducted at SMP N 2 Solok City class VII. This type of research is quantitative using descriptive research methods. The research data was obtained using a performance test, which was to determine the structure and rules/language aspects of the procedure text. Data collection techniques in this study: (1) the first activity, the teacher describes the material about the procedure text, (2) the teacher provides opportunities for students to ask questions about the procedure text, (3) the teacher arranges student seats so that students can pay close attention to the text material. the procedure that the teacher will demonstrate, (4) the teacher presents a procedure text (titled making sweet tea) which is demonstrated as an exercise, (5) the teacher presents one procedure text (the title of turning off the computer (laptop) correctly) with different demonstrations for collecting data, and (6) students pay attention and write down what they see when the teacher demonstrates a procedure text. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the ability to write procedural texts with the demonstration method of students based on the structure of the procedure text was 79.35 with good qualifications and linguistic rules was 74.4 with more than adequate qualifications. Based on the results of the research described in chapter IV, it can be concluded that the ability to write procedural texts with the demonstration method of class VII students of SMP N 2 Kota Solok in the academic year 2021/2022 is 76.40 with good qualifications (B).

Abstract

This research is motivated by several factors: among others, students lack motivation to write, and students' low ability to think, and at least mastery of vocabulary make it difficult for students to develop ideas. Student learning outcomes have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), which is 77. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability to write persuasive texts for class VIII in the second semester of SMP N 2 Solok City for the academic year 2021/2022. This research was conducted at SMP N 2 Solok City in class VIII semester II in May 2022. This type of research is quantitative research using descriptive method. Research data obtained through performance tests. The research data were analyzed based on the assessment indicators on the research instrument. Overall, the ability to write persuasive texts for grade VIII second semester students of SMP N 2 Solok City is described based on the structure and linguistic rules of persuasion texts. The ability to write persuasive texts based on the structure of persuasive texts is in good qualification with an average of 80,3. The ability to write persuasive texts based on the language rules of persuasive texts is in good qualification with an average of 85,86. Thus, it can be concluded that the ability to write persuasive texts for class VIII second semester students of SMP N 2 Solok City in the 2021/2022 academic year is 83.07 who are in good qualification.

Abstract

Oxidative stress can cause cell damage if endogenous antioxidants cannot fight free radicals.If the cell damage lasts a long time, it can cause premature aging and disease disordesa such ascancer, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes.To assists endogenous antioxidants in fighting free radicals, exogenous antioxidants can help. One of them is coffee. However, the content of compoundscontained in coffee can be affected by the roasting process. The degree of the roasting process can affect the physical properties, taste, aroma, and chemical content of coffee beans. Changes in the chemical content of coffee beans can affect antioxidant avtivity, This study aims to determine the effect of roasting degree on antioxidant activity of Temanggung Robusta coffee beans. Robusta coffee bean samples were identified to ensure the correctness of the sample, than macerated with 1:10 aquadest. The filtrate was tested for antioxidants using the DPPH method, which later obtained the LC50 value. Identification results obtained that the correct sample is robusta coffee beans. The antioxidant test results showed that LC50 og green, light, medium, and dark beans were 82,27, 362,91, 61,46, and 617,04. Based on these results, it is known that the best antioxidant activity is medium bean. Changes in the antioxidant capacity of roasted coffee beans are related to the degradation of chlorogenic acid, melanoidin, and Maillard’s reaction products.
