Abstract

This research is in the background by the poverty of traditional fishermen in Bagan Cempedak Village. Traditional fishermen who use only canoes and paddles to search for fish are unable to compete with modern fishermen using motorized boats with sophisticated fishing gear, to meet the needs of traditional fisherman life doing side job which is done by every family member of traditional fisherman. With the formulation of the problem to know the socio-economic condition of traditional imagery at the present time and to know the strategy in the household of traditional fishermen in fulfilling their life needs. The theory used is the economic moral theory of farmer James C.Scott. This research uses descriptive Quantitative research method, where the population and samples taken in homogeneous. The sampling technique is Simple Random Sampling, the researcher gives the same right to each subject to get the chance to be selected as sample, with the number of traditional fisherman 42 respondents. From the results of research in the field that the socio-economic conditions of traditional fishermen in the Village Bagan Cempedak at the present time is very concern low their income due to technological limitations, low education and lack of capital and fishing equipment is very simple to make them have to work harder for their needs of life Fulfilled, and the traditional household fishermen's strategy is to do such as active, passive / reducing strategy and network strategy. Active is to increase or extend working hours, passive / reduces the reduced expenditure when fish miss the fish and do not save when the season is difficult at work, and network strategy is to lend to neighbors relatives or with toke, and owe to as business capital by traditional fishermen So that poverty in their household can be overcome. Then the reason for the fisherman to survive working as a traditional fisherman is due to low education, difficulty finding jobs, and old age who can not work hard.Keywords: Poverty, Traditional Fisherman, Strategy Survive.

Abstract

This is a contemporary study that provides an analysis of the deal with toxic waste in China through the implementation of Greenpeace as an international organization with programs Detox Campaign.This paper uses the conceptual underpinnings, by applying the concept of the role of the implementation of the program to see how big an impact in tackling the toxic waste in China by focusing on a specific area. Powered by role theory, pluralist perspective and analysis of the level of international organizations, as well as the concept of environmentalism. The concept leads to a qualitative method and the study of literature as a source of information.Some Greenpeace efforts in addressing the above problems is the core strategy of advocacy, monitoring, research, communication and evaluation of the river, namely: Yangtze river is located in Ningbo Province, the Pearl River which bearada in Zhongshan province. So far these efforts give good results against the Chinese government as well as public awareness for good behavior change towards the environment. ,Keywords: Greenpeace, program, toxic waste

Abstract

This research describe the policy of Government of Indonesia implemented export constant price for cocoa product from Indonesia to China in 2012-2015. Indonesia are one of most countries that have production of cocoa between Pantai Gading, Ghana and Brazilia. China are one of country that be a export purpose cocoa product from Indonesia. But in 2010 China have create a protection policy with increase the tax for cocoa export from Indonesia and it’s make disadvantage for Indonesia.The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the policy of Government of Indonesia implemented export constant price for cocoa product from Indonesia to China. The theories applied in this research are merchantilism with the foreign policy theory from Viotti Kaupi.The result shows that the policy of Government of Indonesia implemented export constant price for cocoa product from Indonesia to China are becaused trade protection from China with implemented custom tariff 10% for cocoa product from Indonesia and 0% for the other countries likes Malaysia, Thailand and etc. The policy of Government of Indonesia implemented export constant price for cocoa product from Indonesia to China are by Trade minister regulations Number 21/M/DAG/PER/5/2010 about constant price for ex customin standart proce for cocoa products.Key words: policy, constant, price and cocoa

Abstract

Some problems caused by Restaurants in various cities are usually almost the same as the problem of congestion, cleanliness and the beauty of the city. This is because restaurants often tend to trade in places where they are not allowed to trade. Though buying and selling activities have been facilitated by the existence of a kiosk or permanent shelves and has met all the requirements to get the right as a market tenant whose rights are protected by law and safe from eviction.Research objectives: 1) To know and analyze the Implementation of Local Regulation No. 8 of 2012 on Levy Disturbance by BPT-PM (Case Study of Licensing Restaurant in Bukit Raya Pekanbaru Sub-district) 2) To know the obstacles that affect the Implementation of Local Regulation No. 8 of 2012 about Levy Disturbance by BPT-PM (Case Study of Licensing of Restaurants in Bukit Raya Pekanbaru Sub-district). Informants in this study are Head of BPT-PM Mr. Said Riza Fantoni ST, MT and Mr. Yausar as Head of Subdistrict Chief Bukit Raya, restaurant business actors, and representatives of buyers. Population used as informant because this research use qualitative research. Types and data sources use primary data, ie data obtained directly from respondents and secondary data, ie data obtained through reports, books and records. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation. Abstract

Siak Sri Indrapura has tourism potencial as nature tourism, cultural tourism, religious tourism and history tourism. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out the implementation of promotion trough media brochure by Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Siak to attract tourists coming to Balai Kerapatan Tinggi of Siak Sri Indrapura.The reseacrh aims to find out how responses the implementation of promotion through media brochure in Balai Kerapatan tinggi, Kabupaten Siak. This research used a descriptive quantitative method to examine problems in the lift. The samples in this study were 75 respondents, who were taken by using simpel random sampling. While data collection techniques in this study using observation, interview, questioner, and document. By using a Likert scale as a measure to determine the length of the short interval. From the results of research that’s been done, the result is the implementation of promotion through media brochure in Balai Kerapatan Tinggi less satisfying.Keywords: Promotion Mix, The Promotion of Media Brochure

Abstract

IMAMI UR is one of the Association minang active student at the University of Riau. Imami UR in running the organization formed a group communication. communications groups in the IMAMI UR formed with the goal of one of them is to build solidarity members. For that reason, this study aims to determine the IMAMI UR group communication views of the role of communicators group, the messages that are exchanged, patterns of interaction and communication networks as well as members solidarity.This study uses qualitative methods. As for the subject of the Informants were selected using a purposive technique. Informan of this reasearch consisted of three board consisting of a chairman, secretary and public relations and the two members of the IMAMI UR. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, and documentation.The results of this research show that members of IMAMI UR have roles according to the group structure. As a well-structured group, messages delivered in the interaction is about the performance of the group members. Interaction patterns that formed on IMAMI UR progresses through inter-personal communication. Communication network that also formed, from this interactuin is all channels network communication. IMAMI UR members uphold the norms of decency. And solidarity group formed is organic and mechanical solidarityKeywords : Communication, Group Communication, Solidarity

Abstract

The development of technology has affected the service business to be able to compete in improving the quality service to the guest. The computerized system has been proven to help companies to launch operational work of its employees. This study aims to determine the significant effect of computerized system on the performance of front office department employees at Planet Holiday Hotel & Residence Batam, and to know the responses of front office department employees who use computerized system. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive approach. The data obtained from the results of questionnaires given to respondents and interview as many as 17 people with a census sampling technique which is front office department employees. The hotel uses a computerized system to help running smooth the operational work of its employees in serving guests due to the development and use of technology that is evenly to increase the competition with other hotels as well. From the results of the processed questionnaires, observations, and interviews it can be seen that there is a significant influence between computerized system on the performance of front office department employees at Planet Holiday Hotel & Residence Batam, with the influence of variables of 69.3%. As well as employee responses using computerized systems, prove that the system used is very helpful in completing the work so as to produce good performance.Keywords : Computerized System, Performance, Operational Work, Front Office, Hotel

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Work Environment and Organizational Commitment on Employee Satisfaction (Case Study at Hotel Ratu Mayang Garden Pekanbaru). Work Environment as a variable (X1) Organizational Commitment as a variable (X2) and Job Satisfaction as (Y).The method in this research is descriptive and quantitative by using SPSS 20 program. The sample used is 92 employees consisting of 10 departments. To determine the sample using census research method. Technique of collecting data through questionnaire.The results of analysis using multiple linear regression, t test, and test f. It can be seen that the Work Environment has significant effect on Employee Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment has a significant effect on Employee Job Satisfaction, and Work Environment and Organizational Commitment have a significant effect on Employee Satisfaction.Keywords: Work Environment, Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

This study is based on the problem of the secretary of the village post as civil state apparatus (ASN) in the village administration, especially in the village secretary in the village koto sentajo sub district sentajo raya kuantan singingi district. Attempts to find out how the capability of the post-village secretary becomes the state civil apparatus (ASN) in the of village administration through the concept of the capability of the village secretary post to become the state civil apparatus (ASN) in the administration of the village administration.. This study aims to describe the real situation in the field systematically and accurately related facts and units of research analysis, as well ad field observation based on certain data (information). Methods of data collection is done by interview, documentation, and observation in the field.The results of the study explain teh capabilities of the village secretary based on the duties and function in the administration of the village administration. Based on the concept of capability, the capability of the village secretary can be been in institutions, human resources (HR), finance, and technical resources. Unrealized budgets for the processs of village development and administartion of village administrations. The appropriate solution to solve the problem in the capability the post- goverment secretary to be the state civil servant (ASN) in administering the village administartions is to make the guidance of village lawa number 6 of 2014 with law number 32 of 2006 in the village administration guidelines.Keyword : Capability, village Administration.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to analyze and find out the influence of quality of worklife to the employees performance, to analyze and find out the influence of competence to the employees performance and to analyze and find out the influence of Quality of Worklife and competence to the employees performance in CV RGR Indrako Swalayan Teluk Kuantan, located in Ahmad Yani Street, Kuantan Tengah district, Kuantan Singingi Regency Riau Province. The samples of this study were 46 employees of CV RGR Indrako Swalayan Teluk Kuantan and taken by census. The data analysis was done by SPSS ver. 20.0 by using validity and reliability test, determination test, t-test, F-test, simple regression, and multiple linear regression. This study found first, quality of worklife significantly influenced the employees performance in CV RGR Indrako Swalayan Teluk Kuantan. Second, competence significantly influeced the employees performance in CV RGR Indrako Swalayan Teluk Kuantan and third quality of worklife and competence significantly with simultanouesly influenced the employees perfomance in CV RGR Indrako Swalayan Teluk KuantanKeywords: Quality of worklife, competence, employees performance
