Abstract

Andalus Family Tourism is an artificial tourist attraction located in Silam Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency. Increasing the number of visitors requires effective marketing communications to create attractiveness. The manager of the Family Tourism Andalus has integrated a marketing communication component to communicate promotional messages but based on the author's observation data for the last three years, namely 2017 to 2019 the number of visitors has fluctuated. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of marketing communication, social media marketing, sales promotion, electronic word of mouth and events conducted by Andalus Family Tourism.               This study used qualitative research methods. The subjects in the study consisted of ten people, namely managers, employees, and visitors of the Andalus Family Tour who were selected through the snowball technique and accidental technique. Data collection techniques are grouped into three parts, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the interactive data model of Miles and Huberman. Data validity checking used participation extension techniques and triangulation            The results showed that the segmentation of Andalus Family Tourism is the upper middle class, ranging from 2 years to 60 years of age. Andalus Target Family Tourism as many as 2,000 visitors every month. Positioning Andalus Family Tourism is a family tour with friendly services with the theme of sunnah sports, education and entertainment in Kampar Regency. The social media marketing carried out by Andalus Wisata Keluarga is to create social media accounts, namely Instagram, Facebook fanpages, YouTube channels, blogs. The social media accounts created are used to upload photos and videos that aim to inform the public about vehicle information, ticket prices, testimonials and contact persons. Sales promotions that have been carried out by Andalus Family Tourism are promotions at the point of sale, coupons, premiums (gifts), samples, price pack deals, contests and prize draws (content and sweeptakes). The presence of testimonials from visitors in the form of photos or videos on Instagram @andaluswisatakel Keluarga and tags from visitors is an electronic word of mouth that can help convince potential visitors and can disseminate information about Andalus Family Tourism. Andalus Wisata Keluarga seeks to promote existing rides by organizing sport events, events business, personal events and event organizational.

Abstract

The performance of  the Pekanbaru City Fire and Resue Service in impro the capital of Riau Province and a center of trade. Therefore, Pekanbaru City is growing and its development progress is getting faster every year. With the rapid development of Pekanbaru City, the risk of fire is increasing. The population of Pekanbaru City is getting denser, buildings are being built more and more, industry is growing so that there is a danger of fire and if a fire occurs it needs special handling. The Pekanbaru City Fire and Rescue Service as an implementing element of the Regional Government has a main task in carrying out regional government affairs in the field of fire and disaster management based on the principles of autonomy and assistance tasks. The research was conducted based on problems that occurred in the implementation of fire and rescue disaster management carried out by the Pekanbaru City Fire and Rescue Service. The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of the Pekanbaru City Fire and Rescue Service and identify factors that hinder performance. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. Performance appraisal based on Dwiyanto's theory, namely productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility and accountability. Factors that hinder performance are human resources, facilities and infrastructure and budget. Based on research, the performance of the Pekanbaru City Fire and Rescue Service is still not running optimally, targets are not fulfilled, officers are late in providing services to the community, insufficient budget allocations, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure exist so that it can be concluded that the performance of the Fire Department and Rescue of Pekanbaru City has not gone well.  Keyword : Perfomance, Fire and Rescue Department, Public Department

Abstract

This study entitled "Social Interaction of Sociology Students (Case Study of Inter-Regional Students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Riau University). This study aims to determine the forms of social interaction that occur between students between regions in the Sociology department. Starting from the form of cooperation to competition between students between regions. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method with purposive sampling technique, which determines the criteria to determine the research informants. Researchers determined 7 people as research informants, 2 men, 5 women, 3 students from Riau, 2 students from West Sumatra and 2 students from North Sumatra. The findings in this study are that researchers can find out the forms of cooperation and competition that occur between sociology students between regions. The results of the research were the existence of a cooperative attitude of help in terms of borrowing money, borrowing textbooks, confiding in, asking for help to move boarding houses, asking for a shuttle to campus, studying together, participating in organizations that occurred between sociology students between regions and competing in achievement. status in the organization to scholarship, although competing, it does not cause significant conflict because the competition here is fair and healthy. Keywords : Social Interaction, Cooperation, Competition

Abstract

Poverty that occurs in Indonesia is a problem that must be resolved immediately. Poverty that occurs if not handled seriously will have a prolonged impact. The Conditonal Cash Transfer (CCT) is a national program that has been implemented since 2007 by the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs. The form of this program is the provision of cash assistance (cast transfer) to KSM receiving aid. The performance of PKH Facilitators in implementing this program greatly determines the sustainability and success of this program, either directly or indirectly. PKH Facilitators as parties who are in direct contact with beneficiary families (KPM) hold meetings, see their living conditions directly, provide motivation, and seek the best solutions if the beneficiary families (KPM) experience problems. The theory used in this study is the Mangkunegara theory which includes performance indicators, namely: quality of work, quantity of work, implementation of duties and responsibilities. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Selection of research informants using the snowball sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that the performance of PKH facilitators in Kampar sub-district, Kampar district in 2019 is arguably good because the facilitators have carried out PKH activities according to their duties and responsibilities, but not all PKH facilitators have performed well but there are also companions. Abstract

Unemployment is one of the main problems that is closely related to economic growth. But if the growth each year is only able to absorb less manpower than the number of job seekers, it will cause the number of unemployed to increase. Therefore, one thing that can be done to reduce the unemployment rate is to prioritize the interests of the citizens of Dumai City. As for the Dumai City Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2002 concerning the placement of local workers, it is appropriate for the government through related agencies to oversee recruitment. The purpose of this study was to find out how the strategy of the Dumai City manpower and transmigration office in reducing the unemployment rate in Dumai City and knowing the factors -what are the supporting factors in reducing the problem of unemployment rate. In this study, the theoretical concept used is the strategic theory put forward ( Ellitan & Anatan, 2008: 9), to measure the strategy set in an organization or company: technology strategy, innovation strategy and operations strategy. This research uses purposive sampling technique with qualitative research using the approach, phenomenalogy and data required both primary and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation then analyzed based on research problems. The results of this study indicate that: The strategy of the transmigration office of Dumai City in reducing the unemployment rate in the City of Dumai has not been running optimally. Abstract

Background of this research business based on brand OPPOsmartphone. PT. Trio Elektronik is a company which is located at Jl. Soekarno Hatta, to be precise next to Darma Yudha Pekanbaru school. PT. Trio Elektronik is a company that holds only onebrand smartphone OPPOin the Pekanbaru city area. The excellence of the Oppo smartphone lies in the camera with large megapixels so that it can produce good photos. Likewise, the large RAM can store more applications at a low price compared to smartphones other. As for the problem in this study how the marketing communication strategy carried out by PT. Trio Elektronik in increasing sales smartphones of OPPO brandin Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study is to determine the form of advertising carried out by PT. Trio Elektronik in increasing sales smartphones of OPPO brandin Pekanbaru City, to find out the form of event marketing conducted by PT. Trio Elektronk in increasing sales smartphones of OPPO brandin Pekanbaru City, to determine the form of individual sales carried out by PT. Trio Elektronk, in increasing sales smartphones of OPPO brandin Pekanbaru City, to find out the form of direct sales made by PT. Trio Elektronk in increasing sales smartphones of OPPO brandin Pekanbaru City and to find out about the form of segmentation targeting positioning (STP) carried out by PT. Trio Elektronk in increasing sales of OPPO brand smartphones in Pekanbaru City. The method used in research using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach, this is an attempt to describe events based on existing facts and evidence. The qualitative approach is expected to be able to produce an in-depth description of speech, writing, and behavior that can be observed from certain individuals, groups, communities and organizations in a particular context setting that is studied from a complete perspective. As for the results of this research in this case advertising is quite effective in conveying an information, Sales made by PT. Trio Elektronik Kota Pekanbaru can be said to be effective because this activity uses marketing personnel or what is commonly said to be a salesman who interacts directly with consumers to offer and explain product specifications and prices for consumer purposes. Abstract

Refugee and asylum seeker are big issues for human security. Conflicts in Venezuela forces many people to leave this country to seek better lives in their neighbor country, Brazil. The Brazilian government with Brazilian military and United Nations agencies to help those refugees. High number (48%) of refugees decision to integrate with local people by living in Brazil is interesting. This study examined the roles of those humanitarian organization to foster their decent live while in their estuary in Brazil.This qualitative research adopted pluralism perspectives and analyzed with international cooperation theory from Teuku May Rudy for its role as an actor. Data comes from books, journals, news from BBC and CNN, official documents of UNHCR, articles, and websites.The study showed the Brazilian government and its partners for plays several important roles to settle the problems. Refugees have three options: resettlement, local integration, and voluntary repatriation. Surprisingly 48% choose for local integration. The Brazilian government played initiator role by cooperating with Brazilian military and United Nations agencies to obtain enough funding. Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) was first implemented in Indonesia in 2007 and is said to be the number one flagship program in poverty alleviation in Indonesia. The level of poverty in Mandah sub-district can also be seen from the low income of the community so that they have difficulty in meeting their daily needs. Also for the elderly, the elderly including humans who are prone to disease, retirement as for complaints, it is only natural to receive PKH in the hope of improving the quality of life of the elderly in their old age. So this research needs to be related to this problem, especially how the lives of elderly PKH recipients after be the beneficiary. Abstract

This research was conducted on traveling traders in Kelurahan Pebatuan, Pekanbaru City with the aim of knowing how social capital and contributions become traveling traders for the family economy. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were 6 people. The technique for determining informants is to use techniques purposive sampling. Purposive sampling is taking the subject by specifying special characteristics in accordance with the objectives of the study so that it is expected to answer the research problem.In collecting data, researchers used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The theory used is the theory of social capital consisting of social networks, social norms and beliefs. The results of this study are that social capital is very important in running a mobile and smooth trading business such as networks that can help to expedite their businesses. Social norms that become a benchmark and make them more directed. Trust that makes it easy for them to buy goods to suppliers and in the transaction process with customers. With the existence of social capital such as networks, norms and beliefs it makes it easier for their businesses because in managing the business they are carried out together and a sense of trust is established. While being a traveling merchant, there is income that is used as a contribution to the family economy. The contribution is in the form of results which are used for daily needs. Keywords: Social Capital, Travelling Traders

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru. The problems in this study is the job performance that employees give not maximal can be seen from the level of employee absenteeism that every year there is always change and even increase, this is allegedly influenced by work placement that is less precise. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of work placement on employee job performance of the administration of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara Pekanbaru.In this research the method used is descriptive quantitative with SPSS program. The sample of this study was taken as many as 60 respondents from 148 population calculated using Slovin formula. Methods of data collection using questionnaires. Hypothesis testing using simple regression analysis method with result of research that is Y = 10.463 + 0.835X.       The research that has been done shows that the responses of respondents to work placement and job performance of employees in good category. While for t test that has been done show that work placement variable by parsial have significant effect to work achievement. And for calculation of coefficient of determination () obtained R Square value equal to 0,607. This shows that the work placement gives influence of 60,7% to the job performance, while the rest 39,3% influenced by other variable not examined in this research. Keywords: Work Placement, and Job Performance.
