Abstract

Abstract: The aim to be achieved from writing this thesis is to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes in heat material at SMAN 1 Kuala Kampar. It is hoped that this research can help teachers to convey learning using other learning models, not only learning using the conventional model which makes students bored of paying attention when the teacher teaches, so by using the CBL model it is hoped that it can improve student learning outcomes which were previously low using the conventional model. Research on the application of the CBL learning model to cognitive learning outcomes in heat material was carried out at SMAN 1 Kuala Kampar in the odd semester 2024/2025. The application of this model uses a descriptive research model with a quantitative approach. To find out the students' learning outcomes, the researchers provided a questionnaire which was given to 25 students. Researchers distributed pretest questions before using the CBL learning model, and posttest questions after using the CBL learning model. Then, after giving questions to the students, it was found that the average pretest score was 57.5 while the posttest score was 75. The median pretest score was 55 while the posttest was 75. The pretest mode score was 50 while the posttest was 85. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the comparison of the pretest and posttest scores experienced an increase after using the Challenge Based Learning learning model, it was found that the average pretest score was 57.4 and the average posttest score was 75.Key Words: learning model, challenge based learning, cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The learning activeness of students in class XI Science SMA IT AlFityah is low, low activeness causes low learning achievement of students. This research aims to determine the application of the Discovery Learning learning model to students in class XI Science at SMA IT Al-Fityah which aims to improve and find solutions to real problems in improving students' learning achievements. This research has cycles, each cycle consists of 4 stages of activities that are interrelated and continuous, namely; planning, implementation (acting), observation (observing), and reflection (reflecting). The research results of the discovery learning model show that students' learning completeness before action and after action is; cycle I (70.37%), and cycle II (92.59%). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant change in increasing learning outcomes between before and after being given classroom action by applying the discovery learning learning model to students in class XI Science at SMA IT Al-Fityah so that this research is considered to have been successful. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine students' perceptions ofphysical education learning during face-to-face learning at SMP Negeri 1 Ukui. Thisresearch was conducted using descriptive research. The method used in this researchuses a survey method. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 UKUI Jl. Poros Lubuk Kembang Bunga Village, Ukui District, Pelalawan Regency. In August-September 2023, face-to-face learning after the Covid-19 pandemic was implemented. The samples from this research were classes VII, VIII and IX. From the mental indicators, the average score was 171.3 with a percentage of 77.9% in the very good category. On the intelligence indicator with an average score of 179.8, the percentage value of 81.7% is in the very good category. Then the physical indicator obtained an average score of 178.5 with a percentage of 81.1% in the very good category. Furthermore, the environmental and parental indicators with an average score of 186.3, a percentage value of 84.7%, are in the very good category. In the infrastructure indicator, the average score was 164.7 with a percentage of 74.8% in the good category. The results of research on students' perceptions of physical education learning during face-to-face learning at SMP Negeri 1 Ukui overall indicators with an average score of 173.1 and the respondent's achievement level was 78.7% in the very good category.Keywords: Perception of Learning, Face to Face

Abstract

Abstract: The issues experienced by the female volleyball athletes in KuantanSingingi include their inability to perform optimally due to anxiety and a decline incompetitive motivation. This is caused by their inability to manage anxiety at a stablelevel, which stems from low playing motivation. The author conducted research on thisissue with the hope that the findings could provide one of the best solutions to theproblem. During observations, the researcher identified that the volleyball athletes inKuantan Singingi struggled to deliver their best performance due to anxiety anddecreased competitive motivation. The objective of this study is to determine therelationship between anxiety and competitive motivation on the performance of femalevolleyball athletes from the Putri Angin Club in Kuantan Singingi. The type of researchemployed in this study is correlational. The population and sample consist of 14 players from the Putri Angin Club. The test instruments used are (1) an Anxiety Questionnaire and (2) a Competitive Motivation Questionnaire, both of which assess the athletes' performance in executing basic volleyball techniques. The data analysis utilized is the R-value test. The findings of the research indicate: (1) There is a relationship between anxiety and the performance of female volleyball athletes in the Putri Angin Club, Kuantan Singingi, with a calculated rrr-value (rrr-hitung) of 0.631 ≥ rrr-table (rrr-tabel) of 0.532. (2) There is a relationship between competitive motivation and the performance of female volleyball athletes in the Putri Angin Club, Kuantan Singingi, with a calculated rrr-value (rrr-hitung) of 0.671 ≥ rrr-table (rrr-tabel) of 0.532. (3) There is a relationship between both anxiety and competitive motivation and the performance of female volleyball athletes in the Putri Angin Club, Kuantan Singingi, with a calculated rrr-value (rrr-hitung) of 0.687 ≥ rrr-table (rrr-tabel) of 0.532.Keywords: Anxiety, Competitive Motivation, Athlete Performance

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to produce E-LKPD based on problem based learning using live worksheets on green chemistry material that is valid and suitable for use and to determine the response of teacher and student users to E-LKPD. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) research design with a 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) modified by 3-D (Define, Design, Develop). Validation results by material validators were based on appropriateness of content, PBL characteristics, language, presentation, appearance with a total percentage of 92.5%. Meanwhile, media validators were based on suitability of size, cover design and content design with a total percentage of 89.16% which was declared valid. The teacher and student responses respectively obtained a total percentage score of 94.62% and the student response was 88.79% with very good criteria.Key Words: Problem Based Learning, Green Chemistry, E-LKPD

Abstract

Abstract: The main issue in the teaching of Physical Education, Sports, andHealth in elementary schools is the lack of attention to students' motor skills,particularly gross motor skills. Teachers tend to provide only practical material withoutassessing students' motor abilities, causing some students to struggle in the learningprocess. The lack of data on students' motor development results in suboptimal learningprocesses that do not meet individual needs. This study aims to identify and obtaininformation about the gross motor skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 110Pekanbaru. This research is descriptive, as the researcher aims to describe andillustrate the current conditions. The population of this study consists of all fifth-gradestudents at SD Negeri 110 Pekanbaru, totaling 109 students. The sampling techniqueused is purposive sampling, with a research sample consisting of 37 students from classV A. The data analysis technique in this study applies quantitative descriptive statisticalmethods, and the data obtained from the test are adjusted to the norms of the Test ofGross Motor Development (TGMD-2). The results of this study indicate that the grossmotor skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 110 Pekanbaru are generally in theaverage category. Based on the Gross Motor Development Test – 2 (TGMD-2), 32students, or 86.49%, fall within the norm range of 90-110. The final average score ofthe Gross Motor Quotient is 99.27, which also shows that the majority of students havegross motor skills classified as average, indicating that most students possess adequatemotor skills to meet the needs of daily physical activities.Keywords: Students' Gross Motor Skill Level

Abstract

Abstract: The higher education environment is a strategic place to develop reading habits. However, in reality, this expectation has not yet been realized, as reading interest among students remains low. The implementation of discussion programs related to political, social, and cultural issues is still frequently conducted among students as one means to enhance knowledge. This is commonly done by students at any university, including students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Program at the Faculty of Education and Educational Sciences, University of Riau. However, not all students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Program at the Faculty of Education and Educational Sciences, University of Riau, are willing to participate in such activities. Based on the researcher's initial observations of students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Program at the Faculty of Education and Educational Sciences, University of Riau regarding political knowledge, all students are aware of political parties. However, many of them are not interested in politics and have never participated in demonstrations related to political issues. The reasons vary, some do not want to get involved, some do not understand the political world, some are not allowed to participate by their parents, and so on, which can affect their political participation. This study aims to determine the level of political literacy among PPKn FKIP University of Riau students. This study was conducted in the PPKn program at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, University of Riau. This is a descriptive quantitative study. The sample was selected using proportional sampling, with a total of 127 students. The results indicate that the political knowledge level of PPKn students at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, University of Riau, is 74%, political skill level is 76%, and political attitude level is 39%.Keywords: political literacy

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the influence of knowledge about Islamicbanking on students' interest in saving at the Mini Islamic Bank of SMK IT Al-IzharPekanbaru. The research used a quantitative descriptive method. The populationconsisted of 150 students, and a sample of 38 students was obtained using a samplingtechnique of 25% of the population. Data were collected using a questionnaire with aLikert scale. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression. The resultsshowed that knowledge of Islamic banking had a significant influence on students'saving interest, as indicated by the t value of 6.222, which is greater than the t tablevalue of 1.660, and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination(R²) was 0.953, indicating that 95.3% of the variation in students’ saving interest can beexplained by knowledge of Islamic banking.Key Words: Islamic Banking Knowledge, Saving Interest, Mini Islamic Bank

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of small sided games passing training on passing skills in the SDN 163 Pekanbaru Futsal Team. The research location is planned at the SDN 163 Pekanbaru field located on Jalan HR Soebrantas, West Sidomulyo, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, on October 8, 2024 to November 12, 2024 at 16.00 - 18.00. Based on the analysis carried out, the t-count value between the initial test and the final test showed a figure of 3.406. Furthermore, the value obtained was compared with the t table at a significance level of 0.05 with degrees of freedom N - 1 (14) which showed a figure of 1.771, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted and there is a significant influence of the two variables. Based on the findings and data processing above, it can be concluded as follows: There is an Effect of Small Sided Games Training (X) on Passing Skills (Y) in the SDN 163 Pekanbaru Futsal Team. Based on the researcher's view on passing skills, Small Sided Games training skills can reap maximum results due to the habits carried out by each individual athlete. Keyword: Small Sided Games Drills, Passing Skills

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the perception of kindergarten teachers towards mathematicslearning in Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Theresults of this study can be concluded into a good category. The overall perception of teachers about earlychildhood learning creativity is said to be good in several indicators of creativity, namely creativity of fluencyof thinking obtaining an average of 72.875, creativity of flexibility of thinking obtaining an average of 70.93,creativity of elaboration of thinking obtaining an average of 71, and creativity of originality of thinkingobtaining an average of 70.16. Of the four indicators of creativity, there is an indicator that obtains thehighest average result of 72.875, namely creativity of fluency of thinking, and it can be seen overall that thefour indicators of creativity reach a percentage of 60 - 79 which is interpreted as good. When viewed basedon the results of the research of each of the eight research subjects, the researcher describes the mostprominent results of teacher perceptions, namely research subject A6 who obtained an overall average resultof 9.6 and is interpreted as very good. This is influenced by the length of work period, which is 5 years, ofcourse the teacher already has various experiences and additional knowledge about early childhoodlearning. While the results of the perception that are not so prominent but are still in the very good categoryare research subject A8, namely obtaining an overall average result of 8.31. This is influenced by the lengthof work period which is still new, which is 4 months running.Key Word : Teacher Perception, Learning
