Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve ability of understanding mathematical class X3 SMA Negeri 4 Tanah Putih outcomes through of the implementation of the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy in cooperative learning. This research is a colaborative class action research. This type of research is the classroom action research with two cycle. The subject of this research were the students of class X3 SMA Negeri 4 Tanah Putih that consist of 11 boys and 12 girls. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheet and students mathematical understanding of abilty test. Based on the result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle I and II had happened improvement learning process. Based on data analysis ability of understanding mathematical students in classical class X3 SMA Negeri 4 Tanah Putih, obtained an average N-gain ability of understanding mathematical students on the first cycle is 0,40 and second cycle is 0,80. Average N-gain ability of understanding mathematical students in crease in cycle I and II, it show that Average N-gain ability of understanding mathematical students more than 0. It shows ability of understanding mathematical students with implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy in cooperative learning is increased. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy in cooperative learning can improve the learning process and improve ability of understanding mathematical of class X3 of SMA Negeri 4 Tanah Putih in the second semester academic years 2015/2016.Key Words: Ability of Mathematical Understanding, Think-Talk-Write (TTW)Strategy,Cooperative learning, Clasroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: The background of the problem in this research was the poor students’ achievements in mathematics, it can be seen on students’ mathematics scores. There were 21 of 36 students who had not achieved the Achievement Standard (58,33%), while the ones who achieved were only 15 students (41,67%), and the average scores of the class was 62.22. The Achievement Standard that school determines is 70. Based on the problem, the researcher had conducted class action research by implementing cooperative learning which is pairs checks. At the first meeting in cycle I, the percentage of teachers’ activity was 66.66% which is categorized as enough. At the second meeting, the percentage increased to 69.44% which is categorized as enough. At the first meeting in cycle I, the percentage increased to 88.89% that is categorized as good. At the second meeting the percentage increased to 97,22% which is categorized as very good. The students’ activities had increased. At the first meeting in cycle I, the students’ activities gained 63,39% which is categorized as enough, while at the second meeting in cycle I the students’ activities gained 66,67% which is categorized as enough. At the first meeting of cycle II, the percentage increased to 88.89% that is categorized as good, while at the second meeting the percentage increased to 94.44% which is categorized as very good. The average of students’ achievements before the implementation was 62.22 which increased to 73.61 in cycle I, and increased again to 87.22 in cycle II. The completeness in cycle I and cycle II was achieved. It is concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning pairs checks type can improve students achievements in mathematics of grade four at SDN 184 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Cooperative Learning Pairs Checks Type, Achievements In Mathematics

Abstract

Abstract: This study is aimed at investigating how the English teachers implement the Scientific Approach (SA) in teaching English in Senior High School in Pekanbaru. The research design is a categorized as a qualitative research under interpretive research paradigm. There were 3 English teachers selected as the participants of this research. The instruments used in this research were an interview question (semi-structured) and classroom observation. The data were analyzed qualitatively by using Gay’s theory (2000). The result of the study showed that the English teachers in Senior High School Pekanbaru encountered problems dealing with understanding the concept of SA and the implementation of the Curriculum 2013 in classroom activities. Data from semi-structured interviews indicate that participants of this research did not seem to have a clear understanding on the five stages of Scientific Approach in teaching English. However, data from the classroom observation show that some teachers have implemented some stages of the approach quite well, especially in observing, questioning, and experimenting. Finally, it is suggested for the English teachers to get more knowledge and skills in implementing the Scientific Approach as determined by the 2013 Curriculum.Keywords: Curriculum, Implementation, Scientific Approach, Teaching English

Abstract

Abstract: The background of the problems in this study is the low student learning outcomes IPA. Based on these problems, researchers have conducted research to improve student learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning methods Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD). The type of research is classroom action research (PTK), and carried out in two cycles. While the subject of this study is IV.B grade students of SDN 01 Lubuk Young with the number of students 19 people. Results from this study is the increase in the activity of the teacher, student activities, and student learning outcomes. At the first meeting of the first cycle, the percentage of teachers activity of 58.30% with enough categories, at the second meeting increased to 70.50% in both categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle of teachers percentage of 86.50% with a very good category, at the second meeting increased to 95.83% with the category very well. At the student activity also increased, in the first cycle of the first meeting of the percentage of 62% with good category, at the second meeting increased to 75% in both categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle percentage of 87.50% with a very good category, and at the second meeting increased to 91.67% with the category very well. On student learning outcomes also increased with an average score of students before action is 66.15, the first cycle increased to 70.52. Abstract

ABSTRACT, Inuman number of schools in the District, especially the poorer elementary students found a school that has a problem in student nutrition. It is known from the proficiency level of the student body posture. There are students who have a posture small, skinny, thin, tall, and too fat. This may be due to people's attention, parents on the nutritional status of students is very low. Schools rarely perform health activities on the nutritional status of students in the school. The low economic and parents make poor nutritional status of students rnenjadi, because weariness are adequately fed. Therefore, researchers wanted to find out by doing research on the nutritional status of students of SDN 002 Pulau Busuk. This type of research is descriptive with a sample of SDN 002 students in class V of 20 people with a total sampling technique. Data obtained from measurements of height and weight of students to determine the nutritional status of a sample of students. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on data analysis is students who have normal nutrition only one person with 5 percentage remaining in the category of underweight weight level with a percentage of 95%. Therefore, based on the average score of the overall nutritional status of primary school students 002 Pulau Busuk District of Inuman categorized Less Good.Keywords : Nutrition Status

Abstract

Abstract: the problem of this research is students lower score in learning sciences  Of class IV SDN 030 Sibuak, it can be seen from 20 students of class IV, 12 student (60%) got lower score and 8 students (40%) got higher score with the mean score is 65,57, the KKM of this school is 70. According to the problem, the researcherhas conducted a classroom action research by implementing assurance, Cooperative model. In cycle I, the percentage of teacher’s activity in first meeting is adequate 66,7 %. In the second meeting, it increasedto 79,1% with good category, in cycle II, first meeting it increased to 83,3% with good category in first meeting and second meeting indicated in very good category 87,5%. In cycle I, the percentge of student’s activity in first meeting is adequate 62,5%. In the second meeting, it increased to 75% with good category. In cycle II, first meeting it increased to 83,3% with category in first meeting and second meeting indicated in very good category 87,5%. An average score of student’s learning result before implementation Cooperative  model was 65,57 it increase to 67,5 in cycle I, and 85,0 in cycle II. The classical completeness was achieved in both cycle. In conclusion, the implementation Cooperative model can improve student’s learning result in sciences subject of class IV of  SDN  030 Sibuak Key Words: Cooperative model, Lerning Result Of Sciences Subject

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to investigate the improvement of physic achievement in physic learning by using roundtable strategy. Non – equivalent control group design has been used to find out the differentiate of physic achievement of both group, experiment group and control group. There were 57 students of MAN 1 Pekanbaru, class X that devide into two group, experiment and control have been participated in this research. The physic achievement test that consist of 25 items with multiple choice type was used. This instrument measure the physic achievement from C1 (knowledge) to C6 (evaluation) of Bloom Tacsonomy. The descriptive analysis found that physic achievement of students in roundtable learning is higher than conventional learning. The T-tes analysis showed that the differentiate of physic achievement of students was significant at 0,05 level.  Key Words :  physic achievement, physic learning, strategy roundtable

Abstract

Abstract: This classroom action research is aimed at improving learning process and improving math learning outcomes by implementing Cooperative Learning Model with Structural Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) Approach. The research subjects are 40 heterogenous academic ability level students of the VIII4 class of State Junior High School 20 Pekanbaru in academic year of 2015/2016. The research consisted of two cycles in which each cycle consisted of four phases, i.e; namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. By the end of a cycle, daily test was held. The data was collected by means of observation and daily test. The action success indicators were if there is learning process improvement and the increasing number of students passing Minimun Completeness Criteria (MCC) in daily test I and daily test II. The research shows that teachers and students’ activities were conducted well as planned. Most of the students participated actively in the learning process e.g. discussing, presenting student’s worksheet, responding to classmate’s presentation, and drawing the lesson conclusion. Additionally, the students afforded to answer the written test given by teacher well. Therefore, it can be said that improvement of learning process took place in every meeting. Furthermore, the number of students passing the MCC on base score, daily test I (first cycle), daily test II (second cycle) were respectively 35%, 52,5%, and 77,5%. The percentage of MCC achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students’ learning outcomes also increse. Finally, the research also shows that cooperative learning model with structural two stay two stray (TSTS) approach can improve math learning process and learning outcomes of VIII4 class students at State Junior High School 20 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Math Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning Model with Structural Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) Approach, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the influence of student organizations in shaping the character of the students as candidates for the carrier changes. So the student organization is considered appropriate measures to strengthen the soft skills and hard skills of the students to prepare lunch later in the day. Therefore, the authors take the title of the study "Analysis of the benefits of student involvement in Student Organizations (BEM UR Management Study Period 2014-2015)". The aim of this study to determine the benefits of student participation in student organizations. The study population was BEM UR period 2014-2015 amounting to 104 people and a sample of this research amount to 52 people. Data collection instruments questionnaire consisting of 19 statements and interviews consisted of 19 questions. In the analysis of the data, the author uses qualitative descriptive analysis.The results of this study indicate that the UR BEM 2014-2015 period, which can benefit from participating in the organization of visits of students of 52 percent as much as 92.20% of respondents answered yes. The advantages of the most commonly observed by BEM UR No 4 of 19 other advantages, namely on the one hand cooperate to obtain benefits in the form of multi-disciplinary working group (100%). The second advantage to have a responsible attitude (100%).Thirdly, expanding the advantage to improve (100%) and fourth advantage of the possibility of critical (100%). Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to re-analyze the degree of independence of children aged 3-4 years in play group darussa'adah districts Kampar regency of Kampar. This research is a descriptive research. The sample in this study were all members of a population of 17 children aged 3-4 years (saturated sample). Research held techniques by observation and dokumnetasi. The study begins by formulating the research problem, then proceed with searching for relevant research results analyzed. Category independence of children is determined by score indicator, the indicator The independence of children aged 3-4 years are as follows patiently wait their turn, eating and drinking themselves to wash hands before and after meals, tidy up toys after playing, brush their own teeth Measurement of these students classical instrument independence is done = 1, no = 0. The study was conducted independence of children ages 3 -4 years explained that in play group Darussa'adah Tanjung Berulak village regency of Kampar.
