Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to determine the basic concepts and theories, factors and efforts to overcome underachivers. The type of research used is literature study. The instrument used in this research is a combination of national journals and international journals. Data analysis in this study used qualitative text content analysis. The results showed that underachivers were adolescent students who lacked achievement or had low learning achievement in academics but had a high level of intellectual ability so that there was an expected mismatch between their abilities and learning achievement. And there are also various theories found such as Rimm's Theory, Wellington's Theory, Whitmore's Theory, Gallagher's Theory and Kaufman's Theory. As for the factors that influence, namely internal and external factors that exist in adolescent students. So that efforts can be made by providing group guidance services for modeling techniques, WDEP system techniques, role playing techniques, group counseling services, self-monitoring techniques, classical guidance services, procedures for giving psychoeducation interventions, polycentric teaching methods, mathematical reasoning skills in solving program problems. linear underachiver students, quantum learning, training on independent learning in underachiever students and self-determination approach intervention program.Key Words: Literature Study, Underachiver, teenage students

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to produce of IDEAL problem solving model learning devices for problem solving skil in static fluid material that is valid for use. IDEAL problem solving model is expected to make it easier to understand and develop problem solving skil for students. The device consist of a learning implementation plan, student worksheets, and cognitive test. This research and development (R&D) research uses the 4D model. This research is only limited to the development. The results showed that the learning device using the IDEAL problem solving model was declared valid with overall score of the device being 3,50 with very high category. Thus, the IDEAL problem solving is feasible to be used for learning physics on static fluid material.Key Words: Physics Learning Device, IDEAL Problem Solving Model, Static Fluid Material.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the lack of participation or civic participatory skills that exist in active students who are not at all members of student organizations in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program (Prodi PPKn), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), University of Riau. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the influence of student organizations on the development of student civic participatory skills (case study of the Student Association (Himaprodi) PPKn FKIP Riau University for the period 2019-2020). The research objective was to determine how the influence of student organizations on the development of student civic participatory skills (a case study of the Himaprodi PPKn FKIP Riau University for the period 2019-2020). In this study, the sample size was 31 respondents. Sampling in this study using proportional sampling technique. This research method is descriptive quantitative, data collection instruments used in this research, namely, a questionnaire consisting of 5 indicators with 20 statements. Based on the results of research on the influence of student organizations on the development of student civic participatory skills (case study of the PPKn FKIP Riau University Himaprodi period 2019-2020), it is concluded that: There is a significant influence between student organizations on the development of student civic participatory skills in Himaprodi PPKn FKIP University Riau for the period 2019-2020. So the hypothesis in this study is accepted, based on the coefficient of determination test, which is carried out to see how much the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable, it is known that the R value is positive, namely 0.663, the value of the relationship (R) is 0.663 while the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.440. which implies that the effect of the independent variable (Student Organization) on the dependent variable (Student civic participatory skills) is 66.3%.Key Words: Influence, Student Organization, Civic Participatory Skills

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to identify the frequent translation techniques used by the translator in "Incredibles 2" movie. This research was a content analysis method as the research design. The data used in this research are the hard file subtitles from the "Incredibles 2" movie in both English and Indonesian subtitles. The researcher identifies half of the subtitles movie and uses translation techniques from Molina and Albir (2002). The researcher used four translation techniques from Molina and Albir (2002) for identifying the subtitles. They are amplification technique, borrowing technique, literal translation technique, and reduction technique. The data obtained by identified the subtitle, classified each data according to the translation technique, and calculated the percentage. The researcher found 459 data from 1147 data. The result shows that the frequent translation technique is literal translation technique with 181 data represent 39.43%. The other three translation techniques are amplification techniques with 45 data represents 9.80%, borrowing techniques with 107 data represents 23.31%, and reduction technique with 126 data represents 27.45%.Key Words: Translation Techniques, Subtitles, Content Analysis, Movie

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by a crisis regarding students' knowledge about Pancasila values and threats in the form of radical movements that try to replace the Pancasila ideology with other ideologies and the number of behaviors that do not reflect the noble values of Pancasila. In response to this, President Joko Widodo formed the Pancasila Ideology Development Institute (BPIP) which is regulated in Presidential Decree No. 7 of 2018. The formulation of the problem of this research is how the PPKn study program students' perceptions of the role and function of the Pancasila ideology development body at FKIP, Riau University. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The purpose of this study was to determine how PPKn study program students' perceptions of the role and function of the Pancasila ideology development body in FKIP, Riau University. Data collection techniques are questionnaires (questionnaire), observation, interviews and documentation. The population in this study were 216 students of the PPKn Study Program, 2018, 2019 with a sample size of 45 people. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the perceptions of PPKn study program students on the role and function of the Pancasila Ideology Development Board at FKIP Riau University are in the "Very Good" category with a total of 94.72% of respondents strongly agree plus agree. So it can be concluded that PPKn study program regarding the role and function of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency in FKIP Riau University is "Very Good".Key Words: Analysis, Perception, Students, Role and Function, BPIP

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by a phenomenon that occurs in several universities related to the problem of discrimination against veiled female students. Especially the problem at the University of Riau, where there was discrimination against veiled female students during certain courses. The formulation of the problem in this study is how are students' perceptions of veiled students at the University of Riau?. The research objective was to determine student perceptions of veiled students at the University of Riau. This research method is descriptive quantitative, the data collection instrument used in this study is a questionnaire consisting of 6 indicators with 15 questions. The population in this study were all students of the University of Riau. The sample in this study was taken using a proportional sampling technique. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the overall data regarding students' perceptions of veiled female students at the University of Riau are in the "Very Good" category. This is shown from the respondents' answers Strongly Agree (SS) plus Agree (S), namely 40.1% + 42.7% = 82.8% where this range is in the "Very Good" category with an existence in the range of 75.01% - 100.00%.Key Words: Perception, Student, Veil

Abstract

Abstract: SMAN 1 Singkep officially established on January 1, 1969 with sk Mendikbud 28 May 1969 Number 83/UKK/3/1969. This research aims (1) to find out the work program created by the administrator of Sma Negeri 1 Singkep, (2) To know the activeness of the student council in carrying out the student council activities in SMAN 1 Singkep, (3) To know the results of studying student council in historical subjects in SMAN 1 Singkep, (4) To know the activeness of the Student Council Administrator in the Implementation of Student Council Activities With The Results of Learning On Historical Subjects in SMAN 1 Singkep. The research approach used in this study is quantitative research by survey method, using simple linear regression analysis. The subject of this study was the student council of SMAN 1 Singkep which numbered 40 students. The criterion of the degree of coefficient relationship is 0. 153,meaning the activeness of the student council in the implementation of student council activities has a low relationship due to what is the value of pearson corelation 0.21-0.40. The higher the activeness of student council administrators in the implementation of student council activities,the higher the learning results of students in SMAN 1 Singkep. Based on a simple linear regression analysis known as a positive value regression coeffesien with the regression equation Y = 67.786 + 0.477X, meaning the activeness of the student council in the implementation of student council activities (X) has a positive effect on the study results (Y). The value of t count = 2.624 > 0.3120 = t table, so itcan be concluded that H0 is rejected, which means that "There is an Effect of Student Council Administration Activity in the Implementation of Student Council Activities (X) on Learning Outcomes (Y)". The R square value of 0.153 indicates that the contribution of the student council's activeness variable in the implementation of student council activities (X) to the learning outcome variable (Y) is 15.3%. Abstract: This research is motivated by the fact that novice voters still lack knowledge and understanding of the election implementation process so that they do not give their voting rights in general elections, novice voters are easily influenced by certain interests, especially by their closest people, such as family members ranging from parents to relatives. and the lack of interest of novice voters to follow the explanations given by the General Election Commission as the organizer to stimulate the awareness of new voters. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the Level of Knowledge of Beginner Voters on the Implementation of the 2019-2024 Election in Muara Langsat Village, Sentajo Raya DistricT. This study aims to determine the Level of Knowledge of Beginner Voters on the Implementation of the 2019-2024 Election in Muara Langsat Village, Sentajo Raya District. This research was conducted from September 2019 to January 2020. The sampling technique was the simple random sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people. Data collection techniques used are in the form of observation techniques, questionnaires (questionnaires), interviews and documentation. In analyzing the data, researchers used quantitative descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of respondents who answered Very Know + Know was 46.49% in which the Poor category was in the range of 25.01% - 50.00%. It can be concluded that the Knowledge of Beginner Voters in the Election in Muara Langsat Village, Sentajo Raya District, the role is at the "Good Enough" level.Key Words: Elections, Beginner Voters

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is that the attack that is launched does not get points and takes slow thrusts without explosive power, so that imposing a hit on the opponent does not penetrate the target because the opponent can dodge and react more quickly to the target. the athlete's punch. The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of the explosive power of the arm and shoulder muscles to the results of the gyaku-tsuki attack of the RAPP karate-dojo athletes in Pelalawan Regency. The population in this study consisted of 14 RAPP karate athletes in Pelalawan Regency using total sampling technique. The tools in this research were the madicine ball pit and the gyaku-tsuki punch test. The data obtained was analyzed using the product moment correlation. Based on the analysis of the normality test, the data X gives a LoMax of 0.190 and an L table of 0.227, while variable Y gives a LoMax of 0.117 and an L table of 0.227. This means LoMax <Ltable. Based on statistical data analysis, the data is normally distributed. Based on the above analysis requirements test, the hypothesis test on variable X against variable Y data is 0.961> 0.684 Rhitung> R table data. Thus, there is a contribution of the explosive power of the arm and shoulder muscles with the results of the gyaku-tsuki stroke of karate-dojo athletes RAPP Pelalawan Regency contribution of 92.37%.Key Words: Arm and Shoulder Muscle Strength, Gyaku-Tsuki Punch

Abstract

Abstark: The problem in this research is that heading the ball often draws when the duel is in the air with the opponent, even if you are seen as losing often and less focused on heading the ball. The form of this research is (one group pretest-postest design) with a population of SSB Mitra Kandis. The data in this study related to the entire population, namely 16 subjects. The instrument used in this research was to use the head test. Based on the analysis of the normality test on the independent variable (X), it produces a LoMax of 0.164 and an L table of 0.213, which means that LoMax < Ltable. while the dependent variable (Y) returns a LoMax of 0.127 and an L table of 0.213. This means that LoMax < Ltable is normally distributed. When testing the hypothesis for the t-distribution, it can be concluded that between the variable x and the variable y the value of t = 4.464 is obtained, then tcount> ttable (4.464)> (1.753), then Ha is accepted, in other words, there is a significant effect on the training of three players heading the ball against SSB Mitra Kandis' heading ability.Key Words: Three-Player Cup Exercise, Cup Skill, Soccer
