Abstract

Administration Information System in Ikan Mas Company is still using manual system. The number of customer order often make company difficult to control their inventory stock. That makes the stock of raw materials they have always run into stock out. The company also have difficulty because the uncertain supplier.To overcome these problem, we need a new system that can replace the old system and change the manual system into computerize system. System that will be create such as recording sales, purchasing, production, recording the entire master data, calculation of the raw and finished materials stock, and also a report purchase, sales and income statement.Results of making this program is to optimize the entire collection of raw materials and finished materials, recording purchase and sales as well as production.

Abstract

PT.Z is a printing company based in Sidoarjo. PT.Z handle various customers both domestic and abroad. Information technology has been used to support nearly in all processes in PT.Z, but they has never done a risk analysis before so that the company do not know anything about IT risks that can occur. Therefore, it takes a risk analysis so that the company can determine what risks may occur and how to respond to those risks.In this thesis, risk assessment performed in the process of software acquisition, implementation, and maintenance. The steps used in performing the risk assessment are measuring the level of maturity of the IT using the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), then perform mapping of CMMI to COBIT 4.1, and using the OWASP Risk Rating Methodology as a guide in the calculation of risk. Some of these risk factors include the lack of monitoring process based on clear value of metrics, no identification of IT processes that have great impact on the company's business process, there is no verification of value in the result of monitoring data collection.

Abstract

Applications commonly used to solve the equations of dynamic analysis produce output that is less accurate because the use of mass implementation is less precise. Most of the applications are commercial and require the installation process before they can be used. The authors developed an application that uses website as the user interface, so that it can be accessed easily and does not require any installation process. The Website was created by using a more precise mass implementation so that the output becomes more accurate with simulated deformation and structure deflection.The Authors designed the website so that a user can have an account to make a project that is public or private, and an admin can manage the member data. Input process data are entered into tables with tabs such as node, properties, elements, joint mass, joint loads, ground acceleration, process so that the user can perform data input easily. Dynamic analysis calculation is performed by processing the input data using the Newmark method involving the creation of stiffness, mass, damping matrices the initialization of displacement, velocity, and acceleration the calculation of integration constants, the creation of element stiffness matrix, the calculation of displacement with time dependent, the calculation of displacement, velocity and acceleration.This dynamic analysis website generates outputs like all mentioned matrices in each element,  structure stiffness matrix, structure mass matrix, and displacement vector that conform with the exact solution. Results of displacement vector are  used to display the simulation of deformation and structure deflection at each time interval so the the structurak changes are observable from the beginning to the end.

Abstract

News application is an application used to read news from one or more sources. The development of this Android news application is based on the use of smartphones and tablets which are starting to become a necessity in today's society. The application is made so that readers can access news wherever and whenever as long as internet connection is available. News source used by the application is Dwi Pekan Petra Christian University. Until now, Dwi Pekan publishes their news in the form of print media and via the website. To maximize Dwi Pekan publication, an Android application is made so that Dwi Pekan can better reach its readers.In the application there are several features that can simplify Dwi Pekan readers in getting the best reading comfort. Dwi Pekan application provides news to be able to meet the reading needs in different types and sizes of smartphones and tablets. The application was created using Ionic Framework with JavaScript Framework AngularJS, Cordova API, and Node.js.After going through the process of testing that has been done, the application can show Dwi Pekan news and present it well. Applications can also run all the features contained in it.

Abstract

With the rapid development of technology, the need of entertainment keeps going up. On the other hand activities and businesses among the vast majority of people are increasing. The existence of smartphone helps a lot of people to increase their productivity. Besides the general function of it, smartphone can also be used for gathering information and as an entertainment system.Android and iOS are the top 2 operating system that most people used. Using a game engine called Cocos2d, a game will be made for iOS operating system. Artificial intelligence with Finite State Machine method will be applied to this game on 5 NPCs, since the game is intended for single-player.With SpriteBuilder as an editor for user interface, Objective-C as the programming language and Xcode as IDE. A video game called Galactic Defense has been created by adapting it's concept from a traditional game called "Bentengan" (or Fortress in English) which has been modified to adjust the handheld device. This game has 2 difficulty levels and a save game feature.

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of cities, each of which has many tourism atrraction. One of the two cities are famous for tourism place, the city of Malang and Batu. Both of these cities the distance very close to one another. Both the city is also famous for the cool air, and culinary. Many of the tourists who vacation in the city, but tourists and residents around the city are still many who do not know the tourism place that are in both cities. It therefore requires a source of information that is easy to understand and easy to obtain. With the use of smartphones are widely used today, then designed an application to provide information about the tourism place in the city of Malang and Batu.This application provides a variety of information, especially the tourism place, culinary, and hotels in the city of Malang and Batu. Information about the culinary, hotel, and tourism are categorized by the administrator, accompanied by photographs and a detailed description with the goal of keeping the tourists and residents can understand clearly. This application also has many features such as nearby, get route, GPS, maps, tourism tour, review, and rating. The application is designed to operate on smartphones with Android operating system.From the test results, the application can perform the function of maps, get the route, nearby as well as other functions such as ratings, and reviews. So that a user who will be traveling to the city of Malang and Batu can use the features of this application.

Abstract

These days traditional thing has been left behind not only by adults but also by children. One of them is folklore. It disappears because its package cannot interest the people. It needs a better package that interests a lot of people, for example game. The game in this thesis took folklore theme that would teach the children about morale values. This game was made based on PC game because electronic device are increasingly in demand and with adventure game-based which is a game genre that a lot of people like including the children.This game was made by Unity3D which is can place the objects that we use easier. Besides, camera setting which is a feature of Unity3D can make the setting of the 2D graphics easier. First of all, the folklores need to be parted into the playable-part and the non-playable-part. In playable-part, the player needs to solve some tasks to play the next folklore. In non-playable-part, the game will show an animation.This folklore game can interests the children to become a better person from the morale value. But, it is hard to implement folklore into adventure game for some folklores. For example Origin of Mahakam River’s Creek that has some complicated detail to express the setting of the story.

Abstract

Technology continues to grow from year to year. One such technology is e-mail that has been developed since 1975 until now. Many people have suffered losses due to missing some information about the conferences in the world and this technology helps to provide all the information about the conferences held in the world to the participants of the conference.This website contains data and the overall schedule of the conference held in the world by using e-mail technology can help participants to obtain various kinds of information and schedules, especially for a conference held in the world, e-mail technology is used to transmit and provide information regularly to the participants of the conference. Based on test results, this website can perform the function add an event to provide conference schedule, and update events to change the provider of input errors on the results of the conference and can also send emails automatically and globally to provide information to the participants in accordance with the desired interest while also e-mail is also biased to provide information about the participants kehangusan members so that it can be a reminder to participants.

Abstract

To realize an idea, either for business or social purposes wouldrequire a lot of things, such as funding and publication. Fundraising itself is not quick and easy, it takes a lot of people(crowd) to raise funds quickly. Moreover, gathering a lot ofpeople needs publications that generally use social media. Thisresearch is intended to create application that can meet theserequirements, which is a fundraising application that applying the concept of crowdfunding and is connected to social media - Facebook.This application is a web-based application and can be accessed from Facebook Application. Another publications features are login with Facebook, share to Facebook, and newsletter features. From the results of the implementation and testing, we can conclude that this system is capable of running its function as fundraising intermediaries and also publish a fundraising project via Facebook and newsletter.

Abstract

Along with the rapid technology development, the usage of computer input tools is also on the rise. Starting from a keyboard which had specific message for each button, developed into touch screen technology which enables human to interact directly with the screen; now technology in which a mere gesture is enough to input a command to the computer is being developed. Gesture detection can be done by the utilization of several tools. For instance, Kinect is one of the tools which are equipped with depth sensor that is capable to recognize and tracking human joints.The system being made is consisted of skeletal tracking process toward user and motion detection. Skeletal tracking process had been provided by kinect sdk. That skeletal tracking is utilized to detect user's hand position. User's hand detection is used to detect the gesture that is done by the user. The making of this application  is done by Microsoft Visual Studio C# WPF 2010 and Kinect Software Development Kit.Therefore, this thesis is aimed to make an application which is capable in gesture and hand position detection on certain areas. This application utilized Kinect as the media for command input. The process starts from the checking of position movement, which will be identified as swipe gesture later on. In addition, hand position detection in specific areas is also being utilized, in order to determine how wide those areas is able to be touched by hand, when the user's position is exactly in the centre of Kinect's sensor
