<![CDATA[Within the last 10 years, there have been so many natural disasters such as tsunami, earthquakes, and the eruption of Mount Merapi in Yogyakarta. Many emergency shelters were built to accommodate the disasters survivors. It caused problems in processing information regarding existing aid. An application named "Post Natural Disaster Information" was created to make it easier to process the information.This is an useful application for both the donors and the posts. This app has a feature to provide information on available data from each post, so that donors know the needs of certain posts. It takes advantage of Android devices to provide information about the posts to the users. It could be posts' logistics or data shelters refugees in post. In addition to the person in charge of the post, this application helps organizing the logistics command post as logistical transfer. This application could send a broadcast to the users who have been already logged in. It also provides information in the form of a website. This application was made by Eclipse IDE in the Java programming language for Android and using the PHP programming language for websites with CodeIgniter framework.The test results show that the application is running well on some devices such as Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), Android 4.4 (Kitkat). Applications can run the update feature post, broadcast, maintain logistics data and find posts locations well.]]>

<![CDATA[Furniture a usual term that has been used for household needs which can be used for storing items, place to sit, place to sleep and place to do something like tables or something that its surfaces can hold things. Because of so many kinds of furnitures have made many furniture stores demands for a bigger space. This has caused for many furniture stores that doesn’t have much space, not able to display all of their products. As a result stores made products catalog every week or month. Obviously, this made the store have to spent more costs. Based on that circumstances this application was made as a shopping catalog and a shopping cart. This application is Android based, considering it’s function beside a mobile phone , it has many modern function such as its wifi and its camera for barcode scanning that can be connected to the company database Server. The application that has been made, have some list of features such as product search that can be used by accessing the Server through wifi, giving the information of ongoing promos, can do product barcode scanning with the mobile device camera, can act as a shopping cart to contain the list of products, and can send the shopping list to the Server, so that we can do the transaction later with ease.]]>

<![CDATA[Sometimes to get information about the lectures, the students are a bit distressed. Often also when it comes to administration, students have not received information about the required lectures. This causes the students to be rarely or even never at all to go to the administration and tend to just wait for information from friends who sometimes can cause miss communication.Seeing the usefulness of bots that can help the work and daily activities of humans, finding information and gathering information, Telegram created a bot named Bot Telegram. With this Telegram Bot can help the administration / lecturers in conveying information about the lectures to students appropriately and quickly. In addition to providing information, in Bot Telegram it can send a file and then download the file. It can also assist lecturers in delivering lecture materials. Lecturers can upload the material into the Telegram Bot then students can download it from the Telegram Bot.This telegram bot application helps the administration and lecturers to convey information to students. Administrative officers are very helpful with the application of this Telegram bot let alone how to use this application is quite.]]>

The obstacles are, for example, difficulty to find thetutor, fee that does not fit to the budget, and inflexible schedule.Furthermore, tutors are having difficulties looking for studentswho need his or her service.Due to these reasons, this thesis is intended to create a systemwith web and Android apps that can facilitate tutors and studentsin meeting and holding learning activities. This application can beused by a student looking for an appropriate tutor and also by atutor listing matching students. This application can display themeeting location with the help of Google Map. Based on thequestionnaire result, it can be concluded that most of the usersare satisfied with the application.]]>

<![CDATA[Hotel ABC is a company engaged in hospitality management, i.e. room rental, rental of meeting rooms and coffee shop. Hotel ABC has a branch that has the same specifications of the hotel. In business process, Hotel ABC has information systems to support existing business processes. However, existing information systems have not been integrated as a whole. Based on the condition stated above, analysis and design of enterprise architecture information system is created for the company. The process begins with analyzing the business model and business strategy of the company. Then analyze the conditions of current information technology in enterprise, problems faced and the requirements of future information technology. After that, the design of data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture are built in accordance with the objectives, business strategy and business processes are made.The design of the data architecture for enterprise consists of several subsystems. Application architecture consists of several major and supporting applications. Technology architecture using Client / Server Architecture and Service Oriented Architecture Pattern.]]>

<![CDATA[Museum is a place that has a lot of historical relics and cultural elements, but every museum has a challenge to determine the best way to present the information to visitors. Group of visitors usually get have events and places that have been scheduled by House of Sampoerna’s museum guide, ultimately limiting each individuals to explore deeper on the objects that are more interesting for individuals. In addition, information about objects contained in the museum is limited to the tags or information printed on the area around the object so information can be added.Through this Android-based applications visitors can get information not only in the form of text, but also can be audio and video about objects in the museum that can be accessed individually. In addition, the author added the game mode quiz and guess silhouette by utilizing QR code technology to provide innovation so that museum visitors can further explore museums.The results of the application has two modules, Android-based mobile applications for users or museum visitors and website applications for the museum admin. In the mobile user application there are several menus, there are displaying the detail data of the museum, displaying the list of events contained in the museums, perform a barcode scan process to obtain more complete information, and do the game in the museum. For website applications on the admin museum can manage all the museum data that will be used in the user application. From the test of mobile applications that have been done, 80% of respondents rate this application is good and all respondents rate this application can help if they want to explore the museum alone. While testing the museum admin has satisfied with the website application features.]]>

It is not surprising that the internet takes an important role in life; website has become a common media to look for information.This thesis is meant to ease the users who look for information about events in Petra Christian University. By using web, users can see list of events, not only events that are happening or upcoming (displayed as a calendar), but also past and historical events (displayed as a timeline) in Petra Christian University.Besides being facilitated in looking for event information, users also can see documentation of historical events and be reminded of important things that had already happened.]]>

<![CDATA[The process of learning the lessons of history are often regarded as tedious, because the lessons of history study the events that happened in the past. Moreover, history lessons are also taught only by using an image or text. Therefore, in order that history lessons can become more attractive in it’s teaching, multimedia applications were made to teach the history interactively.This application resemble the learning system of Pattimura heroic history more interactive and interesting, because users are actively involved in the learning process. The teaching of the history starts from the birth of Pattimura, until death of Pattimura. In this application, there are also tests made, so the user can remember about the material that has been provided. This application is created using Adobe Flash CS6 and actionscript 3 as a programming language. Based on the results of testing of the applications and questionnaires, applications can be run by fully and strongly supports the process of understanding the historical material. This application adds to the interest in learning from the user, because of the interesting animation, and easy to use application. Users who doesn’t read narrative and do the applications in haste would have some difficulties to obtain a good final score.]]>

<![CDATA[Based on the data of Polda Metro Jaya, theft of four-wheel motor vehicles experienced the highest increase which is 17 percent in 2015. Nowadays, the perpetrators are increasingly skilled in running a car theft. Despite having a car alarm for security system, it has limited distances. It leads to many unexpected ways for the perpetrators to damage on the car security system.It is certainly dangerous if the car owner left the car in a long distance without monitoring. In addition, the owner of the car will be aggrieved. Hence, it is necessary to build a technology that can help car owners to monitor the vehicle remotely. Regarding the problem above, an application that can help car owners to check their vehicles anywhere is required.Security Camera application uses Android and Raspberry Pi. This application is able to detect the movement of the camera in which is connected with the Raspberry Pi. In addition, the users can view an in-car live streaming. Moreover, the users will get notifications on their android devices and email as well as get an access to images and videos in which is detected in the camera. Therefore, this application will be able to help the users to check the situation surrounding their car as a protection from theft crime.]]>

<![CDATA[Kebutuhan seorang peneliti untuk mencari artikel ilmiah untuk dipelajari maupun sebagai pendukung penelitiannya tidak dapat dihindari. Artikel ilmiah yang kemunculannya pesat membuat jurnal ilmiah yang dicetak lebih lambat penerbitannya dibandingkan dengan website. Oleh karena itu, para peneliti dapat mencari referensi di website agar lebih mudah dan dapat melihat artikel yang terbaru. Namun, hasil pencarian dari artikel ilmiah juga bervariasi di setiap website dan urutan hasilnya terkadang tidak sesuai dengan yang ingin dicari.Penelitian ini mencoba menghasilkan hasil pencarian yang sesuai dengan keinginan pengguna berdasarkan kata kunci yang dimasukkan. Penelitian akan dicoba menggunakan metode Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF). Pengurutan hasil pencarian mulai dari bobot terbesar yang didapat dari perhitungan TF-IDF.Aplikasi dapat menampilkan hasil pencarian yang cenderung relevan dengan satu term kata kunci, tetapi bila kata kunci merupakan phrase, maka hasil pencarian cenderung tidak relevan. Aplikasi pencarian jurnal ilmiah dengan metode term frequency-inverse document frequency ini dapat menjawab kebutuhan mahasiswa maupun dosen dalam mencari jurnal.]]>
