Abstract

PT. ABC is a trading – manufacturing company that works on hydraulic hose and hardware tools. PT. ABC’s marketing office and production site has a different location on a daily process. In business process, PT. ABC has information systems to support existing business processes. However, existing information systems does not commute the manufacturing line and only record their trading business. In addition, the existing information system is not perfect because there are still some recording is done manually.Based on the condition stated above, in this thesis, analysis and design of enterprise architecture information system is made for the company. The process begins with analyzing the business model and business strategy firm. Afterwards looking at the condition of information technology the enterprises has, the problems faced and the need of information technology in the future. Starting the design of data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture in accordance with the objectives, business strategy and business processes are made.The design of the data architecture for enterprise consists of several subsystems, namely Logistic Subsystem, Purchasing Subsystem, Marketing Subsystem, Accounting and Finance Subsystem, Human Resource Management Sub-System. A web-based application would be used for the new system ahead.

Abstract

Indonesian has now become more popular internationally, for example, Vietnam used Indonesian Bahasa as their second language. There are several ways to helping people to learn Indonesian Bahasa, one of them is by creating a tool that allows them to determine whether the language the are currently learning is true or not. This thesis discusses the application of Indonesian editor with spell checker and diction recommendation features in IndonesianThe process is carried out as follows: users opens a file or typing in the editor, words input will be checked with Apache Lucene, and Lucene will crawling to all of the data and give the recommendation base on the weight (Leveinsthein Algorithm) and if a user opens a file, the application will perform spell checking using Nazief and Adriani algoritm. The result of this process is the result of input that is underlined words that is not in accordance with Indonesian, or suitable recommendation result by Apache Lucene. Input could be words or .doc file. As Output will be written in .doc file and the spell checking results and words recommendation will be shown in editor as the user types. This application is built using Java programming language and Android Studio as the IDE.The test result shows that the accuracy of the Nazief and Adriani Algorthms still need to be improved, word length and word complexity also affects the time in the checking process, for example: to check documents with 100 words, there are various of time from 1.48 minutes to 3.3 minutes. Besides that, this algoritm can not check the word which had 2 syllables, like “pertanggungjawaban” because of the stemming process.

Abstract

Social media is an alternative media in the exchange of information both for students of Petra Christian University in improving student learning outcomes. In general, Petra Christian University student using a lentera to get information about the lecture. Lentera so far has not provided facilities that can be used students to get information about the organization and information about the campus. Thus, student’s use other social media applications, such as BBM, Line, and others as a media of exchanging information alternative about information around the campus.Through this research, made a social media application for students of Petra Christian Universistas that can facilitate students in get and exchange the information such as: lecture information, organizational information, and information about the campus. Making an application equipped with the post, group and chat to facilitate students in exchanging information quickly. Chat features and features created using WebSocket posts created using AJAX.Results obtained from a social media application is made is a student can easily obtain information on campus, such as: information on the lectures, information about the organization and information about the campus. The time it takes students to exchange information by using the chat feature becomes shorter, because it supports real-time communication.

Abstract

XYZ High School is a private high schools that was founded in 1959 and has more than 500 students. On daily basis, XYZ high school conducts the recording and sharing of data manually. Since the recording is done manually, XYZ High School’s paper usage is considerably high and often it finds difficulties in finding data because they are stored in the non digital-archive . This thesis developed web and mobile devices - based application acting as a service system that provides information related to students and teachers .This service system has features to display information about the academic data such as the student’s score and the teaching materials that can be downloaded by the students, and the non-academic data such as personal information of students, personal information of teachers, class schedule, announcements, and information about violations committed by students.The test results show that the system can help the student to search the information and operate well in a variety browsers and Android devices

Abstract

Toko Sumber Mulia is a commercial enterprise engaged in the sale of daily necessities (groceries) located at Jl. Iskandar Pertokoan Blok 10 no.2 Sampit - Central Kalimantan. The trading business requires administrative information systems that can be expected to process administrative records and stock will be easier to do and can saving time. The use of the web on the information system to function so that the owner can control the shop with ease even though you are not in the store by using a personal computer.This application is made by using PHP and MySQL Server as the database storage system. The method used in the calculation of cost of sales is by using the FIFO (First In First Out).From the results of testing of applications, indicates that the application can process data directly related to the process of buying and selling automatically. Sales report, purchase report, stock reports and income statement can be done quickly.

Abstract

Water is the most important element we use on daily basis. However, water often get the less attention from the society. To be thought of, almost all of human activities need to use clean water. Many regions in the Indonesia having no clean water stock. Even without our knowing, water takes important role for humans health.This application will packing purification water process and purification wastewater process with interactive and interesting. Not only explain water purification, this application also completed with the information where wastewater came from around us. For the additional information for the user of this application, this application also provide information about bacteria(s) that have some relantion with the water. This application was made using Adobe Flash CS5.5.Animation in this application will greatly helping user in the process understanding of the material. That matter will affect to increase interest to using application which easy and user friendly.

Abstract

XYZ Shuttle service is a company that works in transportation service area and also one of the alternative transportations that can be used to pick and drop people to their destinations. XYZ Shuttle Service is shuttle service which have 2 types of services, one is request service where the user can order the shuttle to pick them up according to the address requested and will take the user to the requested destination address. The other service are regular service where the user will be picked up and delivered every day based from the order. One of the shuttle service company is XYZ shuttle service. Now, XYZ shuttle service still keep the order record in manual system, where the user is still using telephone to order the service. Because of that, sometimes the order record is not too accurate. Therefore, it need an information system to help and reduce the weaknesses of the manual system.This application of XYZ shuttle service based on Android is intended to help the user can order the shuttle service more easy and faster. This application will be built using HTML, Javascript, PHP language which will be converted into mobile application using Eclipse. This mobile application will also help user to identify the driver who will pick-up the user. It will help facilitate the pick-up process. Besides being able to assist in order shuttle service, this application also helps shuttle service company to record and process the order more quickly and accurately so it will help in the pick-up process. The manual system analysis process is conducted by survey to shuttle services.Based on test results, this application run well on some devices such as Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), Android 4.4 (Kitkat). The application can run the order service function, send the notification, view the order data, and display driver identity so make user to obtain information about the driver is run pretty well.

Abstract

"Rumah Makan Dapur Rinjani" is a restaurant located in Malang, which offers various Indonesian food. Until now, food ordering, reservation registering, delivering the order to kitchen, and counting the payment bill are still manual, which is not efficient.Web based ordering application which can also be accessed through a local connected mobile devices will be made in this thesis. This application is made from PHP framework Laravel, Javascript, HTML as programming language in web based ordering application, and mySQL for its database.Based on the examination of the system that has been done, the system is able to check the login information  before entering the system, displays the available order, setting the user and member, registers reservation data, add promotion, updates order status in the kitchen, and displays sales and stock report. This application need local connection to login, ordering food, and updating data.

Abstract

Many people are eager to learn more about the world of farming, not just knowing the name and shape of the animal. However, not everyone can travel to the farm to learn about the life cycle of the animal. One way that can be used to provide a learning experience about the life cycle of living beings in the fastest way is through a game. One of the game’s genres that can be used to provide entertainment and educational aspects to the players is a life simulation. As a life simulation game, the data used is from the real studies of sheep. To give a more realistic situation, this game has a fuzzy state machine to determine the behavior shown by the animals when being approached by the opposite sex.By creating the simulation of sheep with three-dimensional interface, the player will enjoy the gaming experience more similar to the real world. This will give more pleasure to the player. This game was made using the Unity Engine and scripting using C # with MonoDevelop. From the test results, the majority of sheep AI performance is partly influenced by changes in the inputs necessary for the calculation of fuzzy and largely influenced by the interaction of the player in the game.

Abstract

According to Deutsch Austauschdinst (DAAD), more than 101 million people in the world are speaking German and about 20 million people around the world is learning about it. In addition to studying the German language in school or language-courses, it can also be done easily without having to spend a lot of money, simply by using German language learning application based on Android. The application aims to provide knowledge of German language for beginners or at the basic level, Start Deutsch A1 for all ages.Features provided for learning German is equipped with learning materials menu, quizzes menu as excercises and competency test menu which is the simulation test of Start Deutsch A1. To see the development of user capabilities, quizzes are equipped with the assessment contained in the score menu and review answers at the end of each quiz.Based on testing results, this learning application can run well on devices with the Android operating system version 4.1 to 5.0.2, and so is the process of accessing databases on the web services. In addition, the testing is also done by giving questionnaires to 10 respondents to determine the satisfaction’s level. Based on questionnaires, 80% of respondents said they were satisfied with the whole package of applications.
