Abstract

Game is one of many ways to get entertainment and to relief from stress. One of many category of game is simulation game where player can feel the effect of the gameplay. One of the many instrument that can help to get the effect of simulation is Diskrit Hexapod.The design of Diskrit Hexapod can be used in Driving Simulator with Arduino as its brain and controller for the Diskrit Hexapod. Diskrit Hexapod can move according to the visual display of the car in Driving Simulator game. Diskrit Hexapod can move accurately if receive the input of x-axis and z-axis from range -20° to 20° and y-axis from range -90° to 90°. The data used for the program is made of 161 pairs of inputs and has trained root-mean-squared-error of 0,0632

Abstract

Globalization Era has pushed the communication around the world to be more intensive. The communication that has been provided by technology can even be used real time. Globalization also pushed the cooperation of universities or institution between countries, Communication is needed to establish cooperation, and teleconference is the best method of communication to establish this cooperation. Nginx and RTMP is used to develop this broadcast server, the server can be used for live streaming both publicly and privately, via self-owned hardware and network, so the usage of existing platform can be negated.  Users are able to use the server for teleconference and other real-time communication activities. Server can also archive the live streaming session, and the file from archive can be played on demand. The server can also become a relay to transmit a stream that its currently receiving to another platform or other server. After a series of test, server is able to use the features than had been worked on, and can be used as self-hosted server for live streaming, especially teleconference.

Abstract

The problem which is raised by the traditional shops of furniture fabric was how the process of customer choosing a kind of fabric they want was holding back the selling process for other customers. In this research this problem will be solved by creating an android application which will help a customer to choose a kind of fabric that will suits their tastes.Process of develop the application is started by analyzing how traditional shops’ system work to sell these fabrics and by that we can develop a system that will help the application to be a better tool for helping the customers. There are two modules, the website for administrator and shop owners and the mobile application for customers. The website built using Notepad++ software and the mobile application is developed using Android Studio.The website and mobile application can work, ready to help a customer to choose a product faster. The communication process between two-ends also functions properly.

Abstract

Education about the science of cigarette smoking and in the surrounding communities are very less, causing students to be less be equipped knowledge of the risks of smoking. At this point to understand or teach about the risks of smoking can use multimedia applications.This application will contain the risks of smoking to be attractive and easier where users will directly interact with the learning process. In the application there will be a kind of cigarette, a substance contained therein, the respiratory system, the risks of smoking, and the two games that make the application more attractive.Simulation and animation contained in the application will greatly assist users in understanding the process and understand the contents of the material and with a very easy to use application that will attract the interest of the learning process.

Abstract

PT. X is a distributor of motorcycle that also sells motorcycle parts located in Surabaya. The sales process conducted by PT. X until present is the user come to seller, then makess an order. PT. X doesn’t have a website to sell online so PT. X only has customers around the Surabaya.PT. X has a website that contains about the profile companies and motor cycle products along specification. PT. X using applications ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system based on Microsoft is Microsoft Dynamics Axapta. PT. X initially used with Oracle-based ERP application and in 2014 switched to Microsoft Dynamics Axapta. These application selected by PT. X as in the company using the Microsoft platform that easily integrated with other Microsoft Office and modules contained in Microsoft Dynamics Axapta easy for custom so that it can adapt to needs of company and business processes PT. X.

Abstract

In the midst of increasing activities and public’s time-consuming, people prefer to buy food directly to the food stalls which are desired and when the people do not have time to wash clothes and others, they prefer to take the clothes to the laundry place. But, the problem is people are too busy and having limited time to go to buy food and taking clothes to the laundry place. From the existing problem above, food stalls and laundry places invent a solution by providing delivery order service. The delivery order service is effective and efficient. It can send ordered food and take-dropping laundry to the customer. Most food stalls and laundry places that use already the delivery order service use the systems that are via phone calls and sending short messages. If there is a case, such as, when customers don’t know the phone number is and don’t know what the menu is available then surely they will have to go out of the house and looking for a place to eat and confirm the menu directly.By using the internet applications in the gadget which installed on the Android operating system, Short Message Service can be accessed more practically and very easy to use as well as other benefits that can save time and costs. Delivery order application is using an information system with mobile-based device that is designed with HTML5 and assisted by compilation by PhoneGap, which provides the process of ordering food which can show the food stalls menu and laundry places on the scope of a particular area, which will be powered by Google Maps which aims to make it easier to track the position of food stalls and laundry places and to optimize the delivery order for food and laundry. The process of delivering food and laundry is done manually by couriers who are in duties. Thus, the customers who use this system will more easily do the delivering process and can save energy and costs.

Abstract

Indonesia has a rich variety of plants, where as many as 2500 species of plants contain of medicinal benefit. Indonesian Health Minister explained that 49,53% of Indonesia’s population consumed medicinal plants or herb everyday. Based on that fact, Indonesian government tried to integrate herbs in to the nation health system. Some indonesian people have the interest utilize the herb, but not all of those have enough knowledge about its proper use. This is become a challenge for Indonesian Government, in case of socialization of how to utilization herb and integrate the herbs in the nation health system.These website and information media application has features to describe variants of herbs, benefits of the herb, describe about the chemical content also information about contraindications of the herb. These herbs information are obtained from the results of researched by the Indonesian Research Institute for Medicinal Plants (Balai Penelitian Tanaman Obat Indonesia).This information media can be a tool for those who want to learn about how to utilization herb. Based of the test results, that indicate this aplication successfully running in desktop browser also via mobile phone. So this application is expected to be a medium of learning that is easy for the user.

Abstract

The development of smartphone technology and the need of people to gather information of places open chance to utilize augmented reality to help people get the information of a scene and see the scene through camera at the same time. The sensor-based AR system depends on GPS which is not always available. This research uses AR system using convolutional neural network for scene recognition.There are 45 network variations that will be tested to find the best combination. The different parameters that will be used are architecture, initialization method, and activation function that will be used. The architectures used are GoogLeNet and 2 variations of simplified GoogLeNet. The initialization methods used are random-based (Xavier and MSRA) and pretrained weights. The activation functions used are ReLU, PReLU, and ELU. The data augmentations used during training are random cropping, color balance, rotation, blur, sharpen, and brightness-contrast manipulation.Out of 1649 photos from 12 scene categories, 321 photos will be used for testing with variations on rotation (30 degrees interval), blur, sharpen, brightness, and contrast. Network with initialization method using finetuning on all areas of network and PReLU activation function has better average accuration.

Abstract

At this time the secondary school YBPK 1 Surabaya has to provide facilities for the library which is aimed at so that each student or teacher diligent reading the book. In the Junior Secondary School Library YBPK 1 Surabaya there are a number of facilities such as the lease the book, the return of the book, payment of fine and cabinet reference. Some discounted rates above is still done manually so that the officers of the library in trouble in recap transaction data. This application is created using HTML programming language, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, Framework Codeigniter 3.0 and the MySQL database. The application display using the Bootstrap template. E-catalogue features using solr search engine is made in the Apache. Reminder features the return of the book using SMS Gateway Me template. The end result of the development of this application is able to search the list of book, can send reminder through SMS messages to prevent loan overdue, can record transaction with computerized library. Librarians can also view reports such as the report of fines, the visitor report, book assessment report and book donation report.Based on the results of questionnaires were obtained for display applications, 40% of respondents answered good, and 60% of respondents answered very well. For e-catalog feature, 40% of respondents answered not good enough, 20% responded good enough, and 40% of respondents answered good. For e-book feature, 20% of respondents answered enough, 40% said good, 40% responded very well. For book transactions feature, 20% of respondents answered enough, 20% responded good, and 60% of respondents answered very well. For a book proposal feature, 20% of respondents answered good, and 80% of respondents answered very well. To reserve features books, 40% of respondents answered not good enough, 20% of respondents answered good, and 40% of respondents answered very well. For the reminder feature the return of books, 20% of respondents answered enough, 20% of respondents answered well, and 60% of respondents answered very well. For ease of use, 20% of respondents answered enough, 40% of respondents answered good, and 40% of respondents answered very well. For compliance with requirements, 20% of respondents answered good, and 80% of respondents answered very well. For most applications, 40% of respondents rate the program was good, and 60% of respondents rate the program is very good.

Abstract

As the increased of work productivity, many task scheduling applications are emerging. Each of Task scheduling applications  has its own advantages to similar competitors. The applications helps the user to remember if one of task was approaching deadline, and to store activities’ data. However, to fulfil  the task, we need a container to store important files in a safe place. In recent years, the use of Cloud Computing is growing because the data is safely stored. In the applications mentioned above, there is still no container to collect data to support of a task. Thus, in the process of a task requires a separate storage container of reminder apps such as flash, hard drive, or using cloud computing.These Scheduling Application is powered by Google Tasks and Google Drive. This app is designed to combine the reminder feature and supporting data storage task. The program uses Google Tasks as a container scheduling tasks and also use Google Drive as a storage container for supporting data. So this one application can covers the needs of users in the manufacturing operations tasks that are not found in other applications.
